Greetings. This my is very first published fanfic that I've been working on since 2016 but only now, I've gotten enough confidence to upload it here.

As a lifelong fan of KND, this has been a very important project for me as I poured many long days and nights into it. The inspiration for this originally came from a single piece of KND fanart aptly named "NO MORE KND", made by Deviantart artist hendocrinogeno, which left an impression on me and around which, this whole story was built.

Operation: Retribution consists of 5 story arcs, made of multiple chapters. I'll be updating this page as I progress further in the story.

Phase 1: No More Kids Next Door: Chapters 1-14 Complete

Phase 2: Found and Lost: Chapters 15-25 Complete

Phase 3: Dividing Truth: Chapter 26-36 Complete

Phase 4: Splintered Lives: 37 - 48 Complete

Phase 5: Kids Next Door Forever: 49- 64 Complete

Timeline wise, this story takes place after Operation: I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S. with the only difference being that Numbuh 1 didn't join the GKND. Why? You'll have to read to find out.

The story's soundtrack playlist is now available on youtube and I constantly update it. The songs aren't in any particular order and span many different genres but feel free to listen to it if you want: playlist?list=PLKZ81RvCkKWpuA5NvSuZ3QDrie5wSPGZV

Rated T for mild language, violence and some dark themes. I hope you enjoy it and feel free to leave a review, since I'm very much a beginner in creative writing so feedback is always welcome.

Codename: Kids Next Door

Operation: Retribution

Phase 1: No more Kids Next Door

Sector V, once the most famous and revered Sector in the Kids Next Door, is no more.

It's members, branded as traitors, are now infamous Teen Villains.

Forsaken by the KND and their friends, for the past 3 years, they have committed acts so vile only a few villains can compare.

This is the story of how Sector V are reunited in the most unusual circumstances and now,

the shunned and hated former operatives must work together, to learn the truth of what happened on that fateful day 3 years go.

As a deep-rooted conspiracy fueled by hate plans to change the word, for the worse.

Transmission 1: Odd Reunion

At the Kids Next Door Arctic Base, deep below the frozen sea, a lone figure clad in a suit of armor stands in a large prison cell. He is the only one in this prison block: Block V, the most heavily guarded section of the Arctic prison, designed specifically for him and other high-risk criminals. The only source of light he has is the large spotlight hanging on the hallway and the only thing in the cell with him is a single toilet at the back wall.

He looks towards the light illuminating the hallway and reminisces about his past. Only three years ago he was a part of one of the most legendary sectors in KND history: Sector V. It feels like it was yesterday when he was forced to leave them. He and his team were charged with treason for a crime they did not commit: the destruction of the Kids Next Door C.O.D.E.M.O.D.U.L.E. All five pleaded that they had not betrayed the KND but they couldn't prove the evidence otherwise.

In the end they fled from their prison transport and separated. While their leader vowed to find the truth, they never saw each other again, as each of them became infamous Teen Villains. Now alone in this cold, dark cell, the person who used to go by the codename of Numbuh 4 waits for decommissioning, that is due in two days' time.

Suddenly, the 15-year-old boy is brought back to reality by the opening of the massive security doors that keep Block V locked. He lifts his head and looks towards the hallway once again. Footsteps echo in the hall and suddenly a loud voice is heard. "Stop pokin' with that thing, ya brats!"

"Shut your mouth traitor, and keep walking."

He recognizes the voice immediately and moves closer towards the bars that separate him from the hallway. The Block's warden, a 12-year-old boy wearing a standard guard's outfit with a helmet that reads "Numbuh 404", stops in-front of the cell. Behind him is a 16-year-old African-American teenage girl, being held by four guards.

"Hey prisoner! You're getting a cellmate. Put her in." He shouts as the guards push their prisoner through the energized barriers. She stumbles slightly as her handcuffs open to free her hands.

"Man, three years an' they still don't know how to treat a lady." She huffs and looks around the cell in disappointment. "They didn't even put a single bed in this dump. Hmm?" She notices that she's not alone in the cell. The tall, armored figure approaches her.

"Numbuh 5?" He speaks with a thick Australian accent. His new cellmate raises an eyebrow and looks at him with suspicion.

"How'd you know Abby's old codename?"

"Come on, don't ya recognize your old teammate?"

"Teammate? Wait a minute….is that you, Numbuh 4?"

"The one and only." He responds calmly.

Numbuh 5 looks at her old teammate, Wallabee "Wally" Beetles a.k.a. Numbuh 4, with surprise. He is about a head height taller than her and she finds it odd to stare up at him when she used to look down on him all the time. The biggest difference is the suit of armor he's wearing. It is a customized B.R.A or Battle-Ready Armor. Unlike the standard one used by the Teen Ninjas under the command of Father, his one doesn't resemble a Ninja armor. It is more similar to a knight's armor with an odd-looking sword hanging on his back. Oddly, his face remains covered by his mouth plate and red visor. She also notices a different aura around him. It's not the aura of the headstrong, reckless and brave combat expert and weapons specialist of Sector V that she knew. He seems a lot calmer, even a bit distant.

"You little rascal, Abby didn't give ya permission to grow taller than her!" She shouts jokingly as she pats him on the shoulder.

"I missed you too Numbuh 5."

"You can drop the codename, Wally; we're not a part of the Kids Next Door anymore, remember?"

"Oh, right…sorry about that, Abby."

Wally then looks down at Abigail "Abby" Lincoln, former Numbuh 5. The former second-in-command and espionage expert of Sector V, she hasn't changed much since they last met. She has of course grown taller but the biggest difference is her clothes. She now wears a pirate outfit of sorts, consisting of worn black boots, black tights, a blue miniskirt, two belts wrapped around her waist, a blue unbuttoned shirt with a white shirt underneath. Her signature hat has been replaced with a red kerchief but her hair is still in a loose braid. She now has three small earrings in each ear and braces in her teeth, due to eating too much candy. She also carries a unique white sword that hangs on her second belt. During the three years they were on their own, Abby had accepted an offer from the famous candy pirate Stickybeard to join his crew, where she quickly rose to the rank of first mate and eventually formed her own crew of candy pirates.

"So how long ya been locked up in here, Wally?" She asks as she leans against the wall opposite to him.

"About two days."

"Two days!? How in the heck you been able to sleep in this concrete box?

"Not my first time in a jailcell."

"Yeah, riiight." Abby responds skeptically and sits down on to the cold floor. "Then how did they manage to bring ya in? I didn't think the Matador would be the first one to get caught."

"They didn't have to, I turned myself in."

"WHAT!?"

"I got tired of running away, that's all. I figured might as well get the decommissioning over and done with."

"So, you just gave up? You know we're innocent, right? Didn't Nigel say that he would find the truth?"

"That's just it, I wasn't gonna wait forever. You know what I mean."

"Yeah, well even I didn't think that he'd become Father's number-two-man, Nephew…"

"Yup." Silence falls in to the cell for a while until Wally picks up the conversation.

"So, what about you then? How did they capture Abby the Dread Pirate?"

"Abby's crew turned her in, for lousy Yipper-cards." She has an angry look on her face.

"Yipper-cards? Hah, no way!"

"…yeah…they put a bounty of 5 million Yipper-cards on me...FIVE MILLION STUPID CARDS! Those greedy blockheads tied me up in my sleep and turned me over to a KND patrol just to get that bounty."

"Damn. They must've really wanted those cards."

"Yup, that's what Abby get for hirin' kids...but since they were part of Abby's crew, they got put on ice too. Serves those spineless cowards right. Heh." She laughs a little as Wally sits down as well. "Well anyway, since Abby's here might as well hit the zzz's."

Wally looks around the cell once again. When he arrived here, he had consigned himself to a long wait for the inevitable decommissioning but now he didn't feel so lonely with Abby being there as well. His mind wanders back to his other three teammates: Numbuh 2 a.k.a. Hogarth "Hoagie" P. Gilligan Junior, Numbuh 3 a.k.a. Kuki Sanban and their leader Numbuh 1 a.k.a. Nigel Uno. The five of them had been the closest of friends when they were members of Sector V. To an outsider the combination of the workaholic Uno, the nerdy Gilligan, the air-headed Sanban, the dimwitted Beetles and the cool Lincoln would've seemed like the most dysfunctional team in history. In truth the five worked extremely well together, complementing each other perfectly to the point that it made their teamwork almost flawless. That is until the failed mission three years ago that ripped them apart.

Wally himself never really bothered to think back at the mission because he wanted to forget it. The worst part for him about the mission wasn't that they were branded as traitors and almost decommissioned or the fact that they lost their codenames and ranks in the KND but the fact that he was forced to separate from his best friends. He had to fend for himself from then on; he returned to Ernest's rebuilt Bully Fighting Ring but once the circuit was taken down by the KND, he left and tried to join the Teen Ninjas. But now that life of violence and running was over. The only thing waiting for him and Abby was decommissioning and the loss of all memories from their time as KND operatives, which included their entire childhood.

Meanwhile in the Arctic Base command center, the base commander welcomes a guest.

"It's an honor to welcome you to our Arctic Base, Numbuh 1000, Sir."

"At ease Numbuh 406, I presume our new guests have arrived already?"

"Yes sir, we already have Matador and Dread Pirate on ice."

"Excellent. My decommissioning teams 1 and 2 are bringing Witch and Shogun to Block V as we speak. The only one missing is Nephew."

Suddenly one of the 2x4 radio operators gives the base commander a report.

"Sir, we've received a message from the Teen Hunters. They have just captured Nephew. He apparently showed no resistance and gave himself in. It's also confirmed that he was carrying stolen weapon data from Father's personal computer."

"Well now, that's excellent news Numbuh 333. Inform them to bring him and the data here immediately." As the operative salutes him and runs out of command center, Numbuh 1000 sits down. "Once this is all over, I can finally begin the next phase."

The one called Numbuh 1000 looks around the control room with satisfaction. He has brown hair under his helmet and is slightly rotund. Numbuh 1000 has earned a legendary status among the KND for his work in the Decommissioning Squad and this status is befitting his heritage as he is the younger brother of former Supreme Leader Numbuh 100. He has also made it his personal goal to limit the number of operatives who try to escape decommissioning and end up joining the Teen Ninjas, one the two main opponents of the Kids Next Door. He will be 13 later this year and considers bringing in the traitors his last and most important mission.

After about an hour or so, Wally and Abby are startled by the sound of the security doors opening.

"Are they bringin' someone else in here too?"

The prison guards bring two new prisoners in: the other one is tall, obese and wears a heavy set of yellow, cheese-like samurai armor and a large spiked bat hangs on his back. The other prisoner is a 14-year-old Japanese girl, who wears a goth-themed set of clothes consisting of black shoes, deep purple tights, a purple top with a black miniskirt underneath, black gloves that almost reach her shoulders and a black medallion around her neck. Her short ebony hair covers her right eye and it reaches down to her shoulders. She also has an almost murderous frown on her face. However, Wally's eyes widen as he can immediately tell who she is.

"Alright, you two go and join your fellow traitors. You should be glad that you get to be decommissioned together." The warden smirks as the guards push them through the barriers. Their handcuffs fall to the ground and they are met by their new cellmates. Abby recognizes them almost immediately.

"Numbuh 2? Numbuh 3?" She asks them cautiously. The goth girl's frown disappears as she hears Abby's familiar voice.

"Numbuh 5!? Abby!" She screams as she rushes up to her old teammate for a hug. "Oh, I've missed you so much!" The girl looks at Abby with tear filled eyes.

"Yeah, Abby's missed you too, Kuki."

Kuki Sanban bursts into tears and presses her face on Abby's shoulder while Wally approaches the other inmate and offers to shake his hand.

"Glad to have ya back, Numbuh 2."

"Numbuh 4? No way. The last time I saw you, you were a midget. Great to see you again buddy." The two shake hands and start catching up. "Don't tell me you're really that tall?"

"Nope, the armor just makes me look taller, that's it."

"Hah, that's a relief. I thought I'd have to look up at you from now on." Hoagie chuckles.

"And you're still a comedian. So, we're have ya been mate?"

"I kinda took over the Cheese Shogun's throne. They call me Lord Gouda now…or at least they did…" Hoagie P. Gilligan Jr.'s voice fades slightly.

"Yeah, and you've put on a few pounds too."

"Oh this? Nah it's just an Exo-suit. Check it out." A loud beep is heard from the armor as the chest splits in two and opens. Steam pours from the exposed area as a tall, but stocky, auburn-haired human figure jumps out of the armor.

Abby, Wally and Kuki stare in surprise at their former 2x4 Technology Officer. Now 16, he has slimmed down substantially since they last saw him and has grown a lot taller, being only half a head height shorter than Wally in his armor. Hoagie's wardrobe hasn't changed much, the only differences being the white t-shirt under his unbuttoned blue shirt, khaki pants, brown gloves and a beanie has replaced his old pilot hat while a device made with 2x4 technology hangs on his belt. His signature yellow goggles are still covering his blue eyes.

"What? Haven't you guys seen a teenager before?"

"Of course, we have, but I just thought you were still…fat." Wally says bluntly.

"Oh that? Yeah, I lost most if it when I had my growth spurt. You have no idea how hard it was to change my shirt sizes every few months."

Abby lets go of Kuki, walks up to Hoagie and smacks him on the back of the head.

"Ow, why'd you do that for?!" Hoagie yelps and holds his head.

"For bein' taller than Abby. Now give me a hug, Goggleboy." Abby gives Hoagie a hug and he freezes completely. He never considered Abby anything else except a close friend but during the last year before the fateful mission, he had started to think that his feelings towards Abby where a lot stronger than they had been before and now that he is finally reunited with her; he doesn't have the guts to return the hug. His face starts turning to different shades of red as Wally chuckles.

"Come on mate, it's just a hug."

"You're the one to talk." Hoagie responds as he points at Kuki.

Wally turns his gaze towards Kuki Sanban. To him, the former Sector V's medic, diversionary tactics specialist and hamster caretaker had always been his antithesis. While he enjoyed violence, videogames and anything manly, she enjoyed feminine things, such as collecting Rainbow Monkeys. She was absolutely obsessed with those multicolored stuffed monkeys, to the point that she could "smell" them with her heart. Even though they were total opposites, she was the only one of the team who could genuinely scare him as she had a habit of flying in to an uncontrollable, rage filled tantrum if anyone insulted her or something happened to her prized collection of Rainbow Monkeys.

But as they say, opposites attract, and over time Wally's feelings towards her had changed to something that he couldn't understand. He was extremely protective of her and would get angry and jealous if any other boy flirted with her. Though he had always denied these feelings of attraction, he did try multiple times to confess them to her but he could never finish the sentence. Though he wasn't aware that Kuki also had feelings for him but was too shy to say it out loud.

"Ehm… Hi Kuki." Wally tries to keep his composure. He had never imagined that they would meet each other under these circumstances. Kuki stares at him for a moment with her brown eyes.

"WALLY!" She shouts as she tackles him simultaneously. A loud bang is heard as Wally's armor hits the concrete floor with Kuki lying on top of him. She always had a habit of giving bone breaking hugs and even with the armor Wally's wearing, he can still feel the crushing force that squeezes his abdomen.

"You have no idea how happy I am Wally! I've missed you!" She starts crying on his chest while Wally remains still.

"I missed you too Kuki…at least you're alright."

"I am now Wally…" She lays her head on his chest and continues to hug him. Wally however notices that Hoagie and Abby are smirking at him. It was very common during the old days.

"Aww look at those two. Three years ago, Wally would've pushed her off and called her names." Hoagie says while trying to hold his laughter.

"Yeah, aren't they cute?" Both burst out laughing as Kuki realizes what she is doing and jumps up in embarrassment while Wally crawls back up.

"You've really grown taller Wally." Kuki says as she takes closer look at him.

"I'm not this tall really. My real feet are here." He points at his shins, specifically the bulge under his shin guards.

"Oh, that's just cheatin' Wally." Abby says cheekily.

"I'm still a little taller than you even without this suit."

"Then let's see it."

"Yeah, you're the only one who hasn't shown his face." Hoagie joins in on the conversation.

"I wanna see it too Wally." Kuki asks with a smile.

"I...ehm I don't wanna."

"Come on, take it off man, or are you afraid to show your zits?" All three approach him as he takes a step back.

"No, seriously, I don't wanna do that."

"If you won't, then I will." Kuki playfully runs up to him and tries to remove his helmet but then suddenly, Wally grabs her wrist violently before she has a chance to touch it.

"DON'T TOUCH ME." He shouts angrily as his hand squeezes her wrist.

"Wally…that…hurts." She tries to squirm out of his grip until realizes what he's doing. He lets go and takes a few steps back as Abby places her hands on Kuki's shoulders.

"What's the big idea, hurting her like that?" she asks angrily as both she and Hoagie look at him with disapproval. He sees fear in Kuki's eyes and turns around, angry at himself for lashing out at her.

"Sorry…I don't know what got to me." he walks towards the wall and sits down, his head hunched down a little. Soon the other three sit down in a circle slightly away from Wally and eye him cautiously.

"Man, what was that all about?" Hoagie asks Abby.

"Dunno, but I'm guessin' he's been through some tough times."

"Yeah, but all of us went through bad times. He didn't have to lash out like that."

"Just give him time, Hoagie."

Kuki keeps looking at his direction as he sits there motionless. Abby notices her worried expression.

"Go talk to him, Kuki. We know he didn't mean to hurt ya."

"Okay, thanks Abby." she whispers and then stands up. Wally looks up as she approaches her.

"Heh, it's just like three years ago."

"Except now it's the other way around." Hoagie nods.

Kuki sits down next to Wally. Not too close but not too far. Wally then glances at her.

"Sorry about your wrist. I didn't mean to do that." he says silently.

"It's ok Wally. I acted like I was 10 without thinking."

"Nah, it wasn't your fault. I just over reacted and broke the number one rule."

"Number one rule? What's that?" she looks at him with curiosity. Her brown eyes had always been one of his few weak spots.

"Umm…forget it, it's not important." he stutters and looks the other way.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I'm sure; just forget it." Wally starts to get agitated as he notices Abby and Hoagie snickering.

"Okidoki then." The awkwardness between them tones down as they join Abby and Hoagie and start talking about what they've been doing during the three years since they last saw each other. Wally makes his story very brief, leaving out any details that he doesn't want to tell them. Abby explains her three-year stint as a candy pirate and how her crew sold her out for Yipper-cards. Hoagie finds this fact hilarious and tries to make a joke about it but Abby's murderous gaze stops him. He then tells his own story of how he became the new Cheese Shogun, Lord Gouda. Of course, just like Wally, he also leaves out some details.

"So, how did they catch you?"

"Well, kinda how you were caught Abby. I was abandoned when the Decommissioning Squad and the Teen Hunters raided the place. All the Cheese Ninjas just ran away and left me for the KND to pick up. Some subordinates they were." Hoagie looks down with a sad expression as Abby pats him on the back.

"Is alright Hoagie. You don't have to worry about those fools evah again."

"Or rather you'll forget 'em all." Wally remarks silently.

"Please don't remind me."

"So how about you then Kuki? What you've been up to?" Abby asks and everyone's eyes turn towards Kuki, who begins to fidget while placing her right hand over her left wrist.

"Uhm…nothing…Oh, I did get magic powers and visited the Hamster Underworld!"

"Whoa whoa hold up sistah, magic powers? Now that's just stupid."

"Don't you just mean that you've been reading a lot of fantasy books and developed Eight-Grader Syndrome?"

"Yeah, what he said." Wally says, not understanding half of the words Hoagie just said.

"Come on guys, I'm serious. I'll prove it to you. Chubbo, come here."

The black medallion around her neck starts to glow and suddenly, a ghostly hamster slowly rises from the concrete floor, shocking everyone except Kuki.

"WHAAAAA A ZOMBIE HAMSTER!" Hoagie screams as he dives inside his Exo-suit. He then grabs the spiked bat and points it at the ghost. "Stay back you undead fiend!"

Abby simply stares at the ghost hamster in total silence as does Wally until he snaps out of his shock and shakes his head.

"What the crud?"

"Hey don't be like that! You'll hurt Chubbo's feelings." She takes the ghost hamster and nuzzles its cheek.

"Chubbo? Isn't he that cruddy hamster you buried when we were ten that tried to drag you to some freaky hamster hell or something?" Wally asks.

"Yeah, but we're friends now, aren't we Chubbo?" She keeps nuzzling the hamster as Abby huffs jokingly.

"Somehow, Abby's not surprised you'd befriend those things…*yawn*." Abby stretches her arms and walks up to Hoagie.

"Hey Hoagie, is there enough room for two in that hunk a junk? Abby's gotta get some shut eye."

"What? Yeah, there is but…"

"Then Abby's getting in there right now, cuz there's no way I'm sleepin' on that concrete floor." She walks up to the suit as its chest opens up.

"Move over, goggle boy."

"Hey wait, what you are doing!?" Abby slams the chest plates shut as Wally walks back towards the wall and sits down.

"Aw crud I'm tired..." After a few minutes Wally is fast asleep. Kuki plays a little with Chubbo, but soon she starts to get tired too. She sits down next to Wally and leans on his right shoulder. Inside the exo-suit, Abby is surprised by its inner space.

"You have enough room for two sleepin' bags in here?"

"Yeah, they're for emergencies. When I was the shogun, I had to sit on a throne all the time, so I used them to take naps."

"Sweet, then Abby's gonna take one and catch some zzz's."

"Then I'll take the other one and go outside…" As Hoagie tries to leave, Abby grabs his hand.

"Not a chance, you're gonna stay here with Abby. Those two need some privacy right now."

Hoagie still tries to leave but Abby pulls him back with such force that he falls on his back.

"Ouch, what's your problem?" Hoagie's irritation disappears when he notices that Abby's face is slightly red.

"Please, just stay here, okay?" Hoagie had always known that Abby had a habit of not showing a lot of emotion. As the second in command, she tried to stay composed in any situation so as to not make the others worry. He had been one of the few people she had ever confided to, such as three years ago when they were heading for decommissioning. After that, she probably didn't have anyone she could share her troubles with. Instead of continuing to resist, he grabs the other sleeping bag and lies down next to the pilot seat.

The next morning, Numbuh 1000, his personal guards and the Arctic Base Commander Numbuh 406 arrive at the main hangar as a C.O.O.L.B.U.S.S. lands in front of them. The right-side doors open and a group of 9 people walk out. They are led by a 16-year-old Numbuh 362 a.k.a. Rachel T. McKenzie, former Supreme Leader.

She had resigned from her role after the destruction of the C.O.D.E.-M.O.D.U.L.E. and made it her personal mission to bring back the members of Sector V. She had always felt admiration and even a bit of attraction towards Sector V's leader, Numbuh 1. But those feelings were crushed three years ago. Now she works as the leader the only official KND unit composed of teenagers, the Teen Hunters, whose sole purpose is hunting down Sector V. She also has special permission to use a custom set of turquoise colored Battle-Ready Armor. She wears a special set of clothes as well, consisting of blue landing boots, turquoise pants and jacket, black fingerless gloves and a turquoise beret. Her shoulder length blond hair is pulled back apart from the bangs above her brown eyes.

Following her is the former leader of the Decommissioning Squad and former Global Tactical Officer, Numbuh 86 a.k.a. Francine "Fanny" Fullbright. Aged 15, she is also a Teen operative and has worked with Rachel as fellow Teen Hunter for three years to catch Sector V. Most of the time though, she has been chasing Wally. Her clothes have stayed the same as she is still wearing her landing boots, orange skirt, green sweater and an authentic Samurai helmet covers her red frizzy hair, indication of her Irish heritage. She still carries her trusty M.U.S.K.E.T. on a holster and like Numbuh 362; she also uses a custom green Battle-Ready Armor.

Behind her, two Decommissioning Squad officers and four guards walk out. The last one to jump out of the transport is the handcuffed Nephew or better known as the former leader of Sector V, Numbuh 1 a.k.a. Nigel Uno. The once great leader, now 15, hasn't changed much; he's still bald and wears a pair of brown boots but has gray jeans instead of shorts and a dark gray unbuttoned jacket over his red turtleneck. His signature sunglasses are not on his head as Numbuh 362 took them off when he was captured.

"We have secured Nephew, Sir." One of the officers greets Numbuh 1000.

"Excellent. What about his um…powers?"

"We put a Silhouette brace on 'im. He won't be usin' that fancy suit of his in here." Fanny proclaims with her Irish accent.

"Good work, special operatives. So Numbuh 1, or should I say Nephew, it's been what, three years when we last saw eye to eye like this. How are you doing?" Numbuh 1000 looks mockingly at Nigel, does not make a sound. "Not gonna respond huh? Well, it's not like anyone here wanted a traitor like you to speak out anyway. Take him to Block V to meet his fellow traitors. Oh, and I'll be taking the data he stole from Father. I need to see it myself." Though Nigel lifts an eyebrow, he still keeps quiet. Rachel gives him his glasses and places them on over his eyes.

"There, now you almost look like the Nigel I once admired." She says coldly and rejoins Numbuh 1000.

"So, what are you two going to do now? Your three-year long mission is finally over. Since you are Teen operatives, I have no power over you so feel free take a transport to go home if you want."

"The mission is not yet over. Not until Sector V has been officially decommissioned." Rachel replies bluntly.

"Exactly. Then we can call it mission complete."

"Very well. Then I can tell you what happens next: Once they are all locked up in Block V, the entire section will be separated and taken to the Moon Base for decommissioning. You can stick around here until then."

"Oh, trust me, we will." Rachel replies and heads towards the mess hall along with Fanny.

Back in Block V, once again the inmate's sleep is stopped by the same old sound of the security doors opening.

"Ah not again." Abby complains as she crawls out of the Exo-suit while Wally and Kuki also wake up and walk closer to the barrier. Hoagie activates the Exo-suit and it stands up. They are all shocked by the person they see on the other side as the guards push him through the barrier and his handcuffs fall off. Nigel Uno looks around the room and is surprised by the appearances of his old teammates while Kuki notices that Wally's hand has been clenched in to a fist and is shaking. He walks towards Nigel but before can say anything; Abby goes between them.

"It's been a while, hasn't it, Nigel?" She asks coldly.

"Yes, indeed it has, Abby. I believe you all have quite a lot of questions regarding me." Nigel responds with his British accent.

"Quite isn't a big enough word to cover them all." Hoagie says as Nigel is then surrounded by his former team members.

...

Outside the Arctic Base, below the sea, a red and black submarine glides through the dark ocean. Inside, eight Teen Ninjas wearing their Battle-Ready Armor are briefed by their leader.

"Alright, we've almost arrived inside the Arctic Base's defense grid." The pilot informs them from his seat.

"Excellent. What about the key?"

"Yes, it's right here. It's a few years old but it still works." One of the Ninjas places a small key-card on the table.

"Very good. With this key-card we'll infiltrate the defense grid without those brats noticing us. Then we just need to make our way to the cage, retrieve the target and get out." The leader says coldly as the submarine swims past multiple 2x4 alarm drones but none of them detect the intruders.

End of transmission 1.

After note: Thank you for reading the first chapter of Operation: RETRIBUTION.

This project is now complete and it's sequel is currently being written. At this moment, it has 300+ pages and I'll start releasing it once I've done enough chapters.
