A special chapter. This is the prologue of the second story arc, giving a bit of insight into what Sector V did during their time as Teen Villains.
Transmission 15: Five Paths
1: Revenge
Revenge is what drives him. He was once known as a great hero, but now, he goes by the name of Nephew. Cloaked in flames and a featureless black shroud, the mere mentioning of his name causes fear in those he used to fight for. He shows no mercy to his foes, not even to those who used to be his allies. Cold, calculating and confident, he performs his duties with precision and efficiency. It doesn't matter if his foe is a single operative or an entire Treehouse, he does not fail any mission given to him. He has cast away his feelings of compassion and his connections to other people, so he could don the Silhouette Suit, passed down from his Grandfather. Nephew is driven by one thing and one thing alone, revenge. Revenge against the organization who forsake him and his friends and blamed them for something they did not commit. This drive for revenge has made him commit deeds that he would've never even thought about in the past.
But underneath this scorching, emotionless exterior is a soul, from whom everything was taken. He fought for justice and for the rights of his fellow kids but now, he has nothing. With nothing left, he now serves the man who he believes is responsible for everything, his own uncle, the man known as Father. He wants nothing more than to find the truth and prove that he and his friends where framed. To that end, he is willing to do what ever it takes, even hurt and torture, so that he can find the truth.
However, in the end, he is alone.
2: Control
Control is all what the boy wants. This once brilliant inventor has now turned his technological genius to subdue those that oppose him. Calling himself Lord Gouda, the new Cheese Shogun has no qualms about using people as slaves in his cheese mine, no matter what their age. Aided by his loyal army of Cheese Ninjas, he kidnaps innocent people and forces them to do his bidding. His methods alone give him a frightening reputation and make him an enemy of all kids. From the comfort of his throne room, he coldly looks on as the slave's toil in the cheese mines, day and night. The Shogun is feared, not only for his cruelty but for prowess in combat. Clad in a yellow suit of samurai armor and wielding a spiked mace, a single swing from which can shatter anything. And if that doesn't work, his technological genius allows him to make tools and weapons against any kind of foe.
This hulking, merciless ruler however, is a façade. The armor is nothing more than an empty, mechanical shell made of steel for beneath it all is soul filled with regret. A boy who couldn't do anything when it all ended. He wanted to remain with everyone but when they separated, he slipped into greed and gluttony and now causes pain and suffering to everyone around him. His regret is so strong he can't look at his family in the eye, especially at the photo of his deceased father.
Despite ruling over a vast army and controlling the city's cheese, in the end, he has nothing.
3: Wrath
Sorrow and wrath fill the girl's heart. What once was a smile that would shine brighter than the sun, is now a murderous frown that hates everyone and everything. Left without friends and no one to turn to, she was subjected to vicious bullying. Maybe it was her accent or the fact she loved stuffed animals despite being a teenager, no matter where she went, the bullying would follow. Her hair was cut with scissors and her appearance was mocked. Then, she tried to end it all on her own terms but alas, she survived. However, her sorrow would not leave. Not long after, she came into possession of a medallion that, to her surprise, granted her supernatural powers and the ability to communicate with the dead. Now, with an army of un-dead hamsters by her side, the Witch takes her revenge on those who wronged her and enjoys seeing them squirm in pain, no matter who they are.
Hidden under this mask of evil is a tortured soul, who only wants to be with her friends and find happiness again. Being alone is like poison to her, but she can't escape from it, no matter how hard she tries. Sometimes she wishes she could go back in time, back to when she still had a place to belong to, back when she had friends who would support her and who she would support. But now, she simply lashes out at anyone how dares to even look at her funny.
No matter how hard she tries, she can't turn back time and she remains alone.
4: Violence
Violence is the only thing the boy knows. In the past, he would only resort to violence to protect others and stand against evil. However, now nothing stops him from hurting others. Standing alone in the arena, the Matador takes on anyone without fear. Whether it is an adult drugged with caffeine, a monstrous bully or any other freak of nature, he always comes out victorious. Fighting has always been his forte but now it's the only thing he knows. It doesn't matter what his opponents try, he defeats them brutally, to the crowd's adoration. Everyday he enters the ring and walks away with a pocket full of lunch money. No matter where he goes, fighting is never far behind him and he takes on all challengers. And if no one dares, he attacks first. Not even threats of juvenile detention can make him stop fighting.
But underneath his blond bangs, is a soul filled with guilt. The more he hurts others, more frequent the nightmares become. Tormented by visions of the people he has sent to hospital; he finds no joy in fighting but he knows nothing else. His reputation alone attracts opponents, on and off the Bully Fighting Ring. He yearns to be with his friends again, so that they snap him back to his senses as he no control anymore.
Now, all he wants is to forget everything, forget all the horrible deeds he has done and disappear.
5: Pride
All pirates have strong pride, but no one is more prideful than the Dread Pirate. She rose up in ranks from being the first mate of the infamous Candy Pirate Sticky Beard, to commanding her own ship. Her biggest passion in life is candy and she will do what ever it takes to get it. No cavity or gum infection can stop her burning desire to possess candy. She is willing to blackmail, torture and use any underhanded means necessary to take what she wants. In the past, she had been offered the path of the Ninja, but she coldly rejected the offer due to her pride. She has not forgotten the past and now the Dread Pirate takes great pleasure taking from the very Ninjas who she fought against. Armed with nothing but her white peppermint sword, she can sneak into their hideouts by herself and steal everything. Despite this, she is no saint. She uses child slaves on her ship, who are given nothing but sugar-free candy to survive. Sometimes, she doesn't even give them that much.
Below her swashbuckling persona is a lonely soul who desires company and friendship. Her crew is no replacement for her friends, friends that she can no longer meet. Despite possessing vast amounts of candy, they mean nothing to her if she can't share them with anyone. She wants to get back together with them, but her pride stops her from doing so.
No riches can replace the companionship of her friends and she knows it.
