Chapter 6
The crowd watching the fight went silent when they saw Atlanta plant Evander into the ground. The waited for Evander to get up, but after a few moments murmurs started.
"Did she just take down the strongest lieutenant."
"Not even a minute and Evander was taken out."
"Who are these newcomers?"
"Ahem." Wallace grunted. "Now that the young lady took out Evander, I ask that you move to the viewing area please."
Atlanta was about to protest put a hand on her shoulder. "It's best to follow their rules." She told the muscular woman before whispering. "For now."
Atlanta nodded and headed up to the viewing area. "I would also pay attention if I were you two." Billy yelled before firing at them.
The two rolled away. Will released the whip hitting Billy's hands making him drop the guns. Boris charged at William, but he dodged the sword before he could be sliced. Leah charged at Billy but before she hit him with her sword he pulled a shotgun out from his back. He aimed the gun at her and fired. Leah rolled away and towards Boris who was still trying to kill William. He was about to slice down on William only to be intercepted by Leah's sword.
"Trade you." She offered William.
William quickly released his whip curling around the shotgun and pulling it out of his hands. Billy then ran to the bar and jumped behind and pulled out a twenty-barrel shot gun. "Die!" He yelled at William.
He fired the gun creating a large cloud of gun smoke obscuring his vision. His smirk grew wider as he heard the gasps of the audience. As the smoke cleared and started seeing a large hole in the wall he started laughing hysterically. He was laughing so hard that he didn't notice that the smoke had cleared revealing Leah and William unscathed.
"Why is he laughing so hard?" Leah asked William.
"I think he believes that he won." William replied.
Billy looked around and saw the two in front of him and saw Boris outside with numerous bullet holes in his body. His eye's widened with a mixture of fear and anger. He grabbed un that in a leg holster and was about to pull it out when a whip wrapped around his hand. His eyes followed the whip and saw that William was the one holding it.
"Hey since the guy with the sword has been taken out and he was my opponent I will head to the viewing area." She announced to everyone.
She walked over to the viewing area keeping an eye out for anything. She saw Billy struggling against the whip. William pulled on his whip pulling the gunslinger toward himself. When Billy was an arm's length away, he was punched in the face and landed hard on the wood floor. William looked down at Billy and waited for him to get up. After a few moments and it was clear that he wasn't getting up the whole bar cheered, and Wallace laughed while clapping his hand.
"Well done." He said joyfully. "All three of you took out my former lieutenants and for that I am offering you all positions as my new lieutenants."
"I refused." William yelled immediately at the bar owner. "Do you honestly think I would work for you after everything you did to the village."
Wallace snapped his fingers on his left hand. The audience began to pull out their guns and point them at William. Before they cold fire on him tough a wave of pressure hit the audience knocking them out leaving only Wallace and his three guests standing.
"Yeah, I think I can speak for my first mate that we will also be turning down your offer."
"Oh, come on now surely we…" Wallace stammered out.
"We can't." Atlanta interrupted bluntly pulling her hammer out.
William pulled out four twenty barrel shot guns, and tossed two of them to Leah. She grabbed them. Wallace was slowly backing away.
"Now let's have some real fun." Leah shouted as she painted on e of the shotguns at the ceiling and fired.
The result left a large hole in the ceiling. She smiled widely at the result. "That was awesome!"
Atlanta smiled at her captain. She swung her hammer and tore down the wall. "How was that?" She asked her captain enthusiastically.
"Okay that was awesome."
The patrons that were unconscious moments ago started reaining consciousness. They immediately noticed that Battle Royal was crumbling around them and go everyone running out the building.
Leah, William, and Atlanta continued tearing the building down until all that was left was a pile of rubble. Leah looked at each of the collaborators and noticed smiles on their faces. She the put her arms around their necks and pulled then towards her in an embrace.
The two looked uncomfortable in their headlock of an embrace. The captain had a wide smile on her face as she looked at rubble in glee. "Hey Will."
"Hmmh."
"Nice punch."
On the outskirts of town by the dock, Wallace ran until he was at the edge. He bent down and put his hands on his knees panting. He looked out in the vast ocean and screamed.
"God damn it!" He yelled at the sky. "That god damn Stallone boy and those two bitches ruined everything."
He took a few deep breaths. "It's not hopeless though I have friends that will help me get revenge on those three hoodlums and get me back on top." He encouraged himself.
"And who said that your 'friends' would do that for you?" A voice behind him asked in a condescending tone.
Wallace widened his eyes and turned around quickly his head searching for where the voice came from. He then found a large Vulture on top of an old, abandoned warehouse. He took a step back in fear.
"Buitre what are you doing here?" He asked in fear.
"I came to collect your protection fee Wallace, surely you wouldn't forget about it would you?"
"Of… course I can get it." Wallace stammered out.
"Oh, tell me how you plan to do that." The vulture rhetorically asked before elaborating. "Your muscle is soundly defeated; your base of operations is completely destroyed, and the scavengers are picking it apart right now."
"You mean the vermin are already taking what's mine?"
"Yeas indeed, it was smart to leave the populace starving making them weak and unable to rise against you since they are more focused on getting any scrape of food they can get."
"I got to..." He started but the talking vulture interrupted him.
"You got to what? Those pirates will know when you get back."
Wallace froze in fear. He stared at the vulture waiting for it to speak. "Now, you need a reminder of who you work for, so show your fealty to the Marines of base Mountain 1."
Wallace put his knees on the ground then bowed his head to the floor. "I pledge my fealty to the Marines of Base Mountain 1, I have served."
Wallace kept bowing low with his eyes tightly shut, unaware that 10 starving locals started congregating 10 feet away from him. Buitre saw this and transformed into a 6 foot 3 inch man. Skinny and lanky, with short brown hair in a buzz cut, a sailor's uniform with a cape with rear admiral written on it that reached the floor, and eyes that looked to be closed. He saw the congregation eyeing Wallas with so much hatred that not even the ocean could contain it. He grinned at the bowing man quivering and desperate.
"I will assist you." He told the fallen crime lord.
Wallace looked up with hope in his eyes. "You will?"
"Yes I will." The rear admiral said building him up. "If you can kill all ten of those starving locals that you step on."
The last shred of hope on Wallace's face vanished in an instant. He looked at the 10 people glaring at him. He leaned down, now in a crab position trying to scoot away. "Also, to show you how much we think you are worth if they kill you each of them will get a 1,000 berri reward for your death."
"Please…" Wallace started to beg.
The Marine officer was not having any of it though. "At least die with a little bit of dignity Wallace."
The starving locals charged at the fallen bar owner pulling out knives, pipes, or just using their fists or feet. In the end Wallace laid beaten and bruised, with numerous stab wound on his body. As promised Buitre handed each of a 1,000 Berri to each of them. After one look at the body, he ran before jumping and transforming into a vulture and flying away.
