Naminé sat at hers' and Roxas's Special Spot waiting for Roxas to come. This will be the last day they'll see each other due to the fact that Naminé has to transfer schools and go live with her parents.

She hugged her legs up to her chest and laid her head down using them as a head rest. She sighed inwardly.

She didn't want to go. But everyone had to do things they didn't want to do in life. And this was one of them. If she had the choice she wouldn't leave and she'd stay by Roxas's side forever.

Forever...we will stay...

Her head jolted up when she heard the light tapping of footsteps from behind her.

It was Roxas.

They always came to this spot to watch the sunset go down. It became a daily ritual for them ever since they first met. And that's because they met there, at the Special S p o t.

It was the beginning and the end. Where you meet is always where you say your last goodbyes. Naminé always felt it was like that.

But one thing surprised her. She didn't ask him to come here or expect him to come at all. He...they came of their own accord.

A smile graced her lips. "Roxas." She stood up and walked over to him, clearly excited to see him before she had to leave forever.

"Naminé, what are you doing here?" He looked surprised as well, but happy nonetheless.

"What do you think I'm doing here?" She turned around and looked up at the setting sun. "I was hoping you would come so I could see you one last time..." her voice faded away into nothingness.

"Of course I'd be here. It is our Special Spot after all."

Just being here with him she felt...happy. For the first time in her life she felt something other then sadness and anger. And Roxas was the only person who made her feel that way...made her feel like she was something special.

"I don't want to go," Naminé said breaking the silence. She never took her eyes off the sunset.

Roxas didn't reply, he only stood watching the sun go down as well. Maybe he didn't have anything to say, or maybe he just didn't want to say anything.

He wanted it to be like this F o r e v e r.

"Roxas..." Her eyes started to well up with tears, but she forced herself to keep them from falling. "I thought we had it perfect, that everything would go okay." She wiped away a few tears that escaped and continued. "I thought we had something."

He faked a quick smile and searched for her hand until he came upon it and wrapped his fingers around hers, grabbing it tightly.

"We do." They stood silent until Roxas started to speak again, his voice quiet. "I was scared you'd change my life for the worse...but I was wrong." He gripped her hand tighter afraid to let go. Thinking that maybe if he let go she's go to.

She shook her head.

"Roxas, take this." She reached into her pocket and pulled out a golden shaped star. "You can always remember me by this." He carefully took it from her and stared at it until a thought came into his mind.

"Oh, I forgot, I have something for you too." He dug deep into his coat pocket until he came upon a blue marble with a silver chain running through it.

"Roxas..." She gladly took it from him and held it close to her heart. "Thank you...I'll never forget you." She looked up into his dark blue eyes. "Let's make a promise. Promise that we'll never forget each other...and that we'll meet again someday."

He smiled at her for probably the last time. "I promise."

The sun was dipping below the mountains, their time coming to a close.

Roxas moved so his hand held her chin and he moved in to kiss her, letting the moment take all the pain, fear, and sorrow away.

Just at that moment the sun set behind the moutains signaling the start of something new, and whether together or alone, they'd face it.
