LATER THAT DAY

My plane got into New York around 7:00am Sam's gets in around 9:30am we decided to say far part from each other so the others won't sense anything. I'm telling you I know my friends either Kurt or satan herself will know something's up. Although the NDF don't know where back on we couldn't hide it from our family, especially because our family loves each other and also even while we were broken up we kept in contact with each other families. Some people May wonder why we haven't told our friends we're back together and the simple answer is because they are judge mental and to damn opinionated for my liking, although I love them dearly I have to keep them out of my relationship with Sam because we're not some damn school projects they need to study and pick apart.

The Gang decided to meet up at 11:00am for brunch at Kurt's and Blaine's house and I'm ok with that because at least this gives me and Sam a little time alone, who was I kidding trying to stay away from him. I'm going to call him now I wanna see him.

SAM'S PHONE RINGING………answer's on the third ring….

"Hey my beautiful baby"

"Hi Sammy I was wondering did you get any reservations for a hotel." (Bits bottom lip)

"actually no not yet most of the hotels are booked, I might go stay with Kurt and Bla-"

"NOOO come stay with meeee pleaseeeee daddy. (Mercedes whined half moaned)"

(smiling uncontrollably) "I don't know baby I think we might need some Tim-"

"I swear Samual Evans if you ever want to visit your favorite play land again you better not finish that sentence."

"You can't always get your way baby" (trying not to laugh)

"I do and I will if you wanna keep your play land I mean I can always close up sh-"

"hahahah ok baby I'm sorry ok I'll come stay with you I'll be there soon as my plane land ok."

While I wait on Sam's plane to land i call Kurt to see what all they plan on doing this weekend I still have to get back to work on my album

PHONE CALL WITH KURT...

"Ohh diva I'm so glad you called I missed you so much"

" oh I'm doing fine happily married, you know the usual"

Growing anxious "Spill it already"

"Ok ok so I got a call last week saying I'm nominated for four Grammy's and I need my Bestfriend to make my dress"

"Wait diva are you serious, you better not be playing with me" now crying "are you serious Mercy-me tell me your not playing"

" no I'm not playing I wouldn't dare joke about my dreams coming true like this, so what do you say can you make my dress"

"Mercedes are you kidding me of course I'll be honored to make you dress" " omg we have so much work to do"

While Kurt is talking about measurements and other things Mercedes is shaking her head

"Kurt. Kurt.. KURT..."

"Oh I'm sorry cedes I'm just so excited so who all knows about your good news"

"Um just you and um Sam"

"Oh ok wait did you say Sam"

Bits her nails "Um yes he was with me when I found out"

" he was with you what do you mean he was with you"

"I was doing a show and he came and surprised me back stage at my show when I got the call"

" your show, you had a show in Lima"

Scratches her head " no actually it was in Nashville"

"What was he doing in Nashville"

"Um his family actually moved back there, he bought them a house"

"Hold on wait so they moved from Kentucky and hold on did you just say he bought them a house, how I thought he was just a teacher at McKinley"

Rolls her eyes at the teacher statement

"Well I guess he's been working hard because he got them a nice big house"

Kurt decided to get back into focusing on the main point " oh well Um are you taking Tank as your date, I mean your going to need a nice piece of arm candy"

"Um no. Actually me an Tank broke up"

"WHATTTT diva what seriously when,what happened"

Takes the phone off her ear " nothing really it just wasn't right... me and him you know I really wasn't in it that's all no big deal"

"No big Deal cedes come on really"

"Yes really"

" how long you guys been over"

"Since march"

"MARCH CEDES THATS WAS OVER NINE MONTHS AGO"

"Omg Kurt do you have to yell"

"I'm sorry diva it's just you didn't tell me I'm sorry"

"It's ok it just wasn't right"

"Well you'll find that's perfect someone but how did he take it when you broke it off with him"

~Flashback break up with Tank~

Leaving rehearsals I text Tank to meet me and this little cafe I love a couple blocks from the studio. When I get there I wait ten mins before he shows up.

Standing up to give Tank a hug

"Hey baby"

As he tries to give me a kiss I turn my head slightly to the left so his lips land on my cheek.

"Hey Tank Um I wanted to meet you with because we need to talk"

"What's wrong babe"

Starts to feel a little guilty " Um" looking around, trying not to fidget so much "Um I wanted to talk about us"

"Cedes baby what's the matter your rambling"

Tears forming in my eyes " Um I'm sorry about this but um listen Tank I can't do this anymore"

"You can't do what anymore" giving her the look of hate

" I'm so sorry, but I can't do us anymore my heart, my heart is not in this how it's suppose to be and truth be told my heart is with somebody else" " and I-

Cuts her off " Sam"

"Huh"

"I said it's Sam isn't it" Tank says very angrily

" yes" crying hard " I'm sorry Tank but it's going to always be him and I can't be in a relationship with you when my heart is somewhere else"

" I know I should've went on that trip with you. Had I went you would still be my girlfriend" " I can't believe you Mercedes why can't you love me we can still try to work this out"

"Even if you went on the trip with me this would have still been the outcome" " that's not fair to me or to you Tank, trying to force myself to fall in love with you would have been to a mental breakdown waiting to happen I'm so sorry Tank, I really am I didn't want this to happen it just did"

"What does that white boy got that I don't huh, what can he give you that I can't. I mean come on cedes he's just a choir teacher" laugh like it's a joke

" this is not a competition to see who can win over my heart"

"Could've fooled me"

Gives a lil short chuckle

"Ha you want to know what he does for me"

"I would really like to know because I know he don't got shit on me"

That's what he does for me"

"Wow that's deep... and you don't think you could've had that with me"

"Yea you keep saying that, look it's cool I hope everything work out with you and ol' boy, tell him if he every mess up I'll be waiting with open arms"

" I'll be sure to tell him that" "ha"

They both stood up to give each other hugs and go about they marry way

Mercedes thinks to herself she really wanted to marrySam but they just got back together

As she walking back to the studio she stops by a shop

~end of flashback~

Present

"Um he took it very well actually, better then I thought"

"Oh well that's good, oh cedes I have to go Blaine is yelling my name for some reason"

"Ok diva I'll see you in a few I have to start getting ready anyways"

"Oh diva before I let you go why are you staying at a hotel this weekend again and not with your Bestfriend who has a ton of room"

"Because I need to still work on my album and being in your lovely home with the whole NDF is just not going to cut it. Sorry babes"

" ok well I guess that's fine,see you later Mercy-me"

"Bye Kurt love you muah"

Goes to get in the shower...

Please review and let me know how we feeling. Do we think Kurt might know and just not saying anything. What about Tank how we feeling on him
