Transmission 42: Splinter Cell Exposed
Down on Earth, V2's bridge operators are trying in vain to reestablish contact with the Moonbase, despite the frantic commands of Numbuh 090. Then, the huge armored doors that have been sealed since the attack began, are blown apart as Nigel leads the others inside.
"TEENS NEXT DOOR, ATTACK!" He screams as the teens open fire on Numbuh 090 and the other operatives.
"Ne…Nephew! Don't just stand there, shoot them!" Led by the 10 remaining Hunters, the chipped operatives leave their posts and return fire, turning the bridge into shootout.
"Numbuh Tau-6, Numbuh 5, cover Numbuhs Pi-2 and Eta-4 while they're installing the jammer! The rest of you, suppress the enemy!"
"YES, SIR!" The others respond as Nigel charges towards the Hunters, along with Patton.
"Eat this!" He picks off the Hunters one by one with little effort with his Stupefier Rifle while Nigel keeps going, his eyes set on Numbuh 090.
"Your reign ends today!"
"No! You won't defeat the Kids Next Door!" The commander runs towards a set of lockers near the emergency exit and jumps into the middle one, transforming it into a piloted, four-armed L.O.C.K.A.H.S.O.C.K.A.H. "All of you teenagers should just disappear!" he opens fire with the mech's laser cannons, forcing Nigel and the others to scatter. At the same time, Kimberley and Ted run over to the main control panel, which is directly connected to the Treehouse's massive communications antenna, which in-turn is emitting the mind-control signal to the chips.
"Okay, let's get this done!" Ted nods to Kimberley as he starts reconnecting wires on the console while Kimberley begins typing. Charles positions himself in-front of the console, standing back-to-back with Kimberley and fires at anything that tries to aim their way.
"Tell me again why we can't just blow this place up?!"
"Because…the Moonbase is emitting this same signal. Even if we turn this off, they can still keep the chips working with the Moonbase's signal! By jamming it instead, we'll free everyone on Earth, and block the Moon's broadcast!" Kimberley says quickly as lasers whizz past them.
"Less talk, more typin', girl!" Abby interrupts as she engages two Hunters trying attack them. She dispatches the first one with a point-blank M.A.R.B.L.E. and the other with her grappling wires, tossing the Hunter across the bridge in the back wall, knocking her out. Near the entrance, Tommy and his team are using the fight as a distraction as they're eyes are set on the upper observation deck, where the Treehouse's weapons control system is located.
"Come on! We're gonna turn their weapons against them!" Tommy gestures to Lee and Sonia as they run along the right-side wall towards a set of ladders, followed by Bradley. Meanwhile, Nigel and Patton double team Numbuh 090's locker mech.
"You're gonna pay for using Fanny as a slave!" Patton roars as he charges head-on at Numbuh 090, who deploys an armored canopy over the mech's open cockpit, just as the enraged agent is about strike him.
"Keep your filthy hands off me, you disgusting teenager!" he swings the mech's upper-right arm, forcing Patton to dodge and jump backwards. However, before he can land, Numbuh 090 prepares to fire all of the L.O.C.K.A.H.S.O.C.K.A.'s four laser cannons at him. "DISSAPEAR!" But Nigel intervenes and uses his telekinesis to push the mech just as Numbuh 090 pulls the triggers, causing the lasers to miss and blow a hole into the bridge's roof. Then, Nigel directs the falling debris at the mech, forcing Numbuh 090 to shoot them down instead.
Seeing his chance, Patton attacks head-on and lands on top of the mech's armored canopy. "RAAAHH!" He fires his shoulder gatling guns at point-blank range, causing the canopy to warp from the heat.
"Huh?! Ge…GET OFF ME!" 090 screams and begins to swing the mech's arms wildly in his attempts to get Patton away from the cockpit. Then, Nigel coats his arms in his Silhouette Suit and fires a torrent of flames from them, melting both of the L.O.C.K.A.H.S.O.C.K.A.'s left arms.
"Drag him out of there, Numbuh Zeta!" Nigel urges Patton on as the canopy finally gives in and Patton, aided by the enhanced strength from his B.R.A., rips it off completely. But before he can take hold of Numbuh 090, his is hit square in the stomach by the mechs upper-right arm, sending to the floor.
"Guah!"
"Numbuh Zeta!" Nigel shouts and makes a beeline for his friend, but Numbuh 090 opens fire with his remaining cannons, forcing him to back away once again.
"Haah…haah…you teenagers…you are all pests!" A crazed Numbuh 090 screams but his attention is drawn to Kimberley and Ted, who are frantically trying to install the jammer. "Numbuh 42 and 202! You traitors!" he takes aim and prepares to fire but before he can do so, Bradley destroys the upper arm completely with its eye laser before jumping into the mech's cockpit.
"Numbuh 6!" Nigel runs towards the L.O.C.K.A.S.O.C.K.A. and uses his telekinesis to tear of the machines left leg while Bradley battles with the 11-year-old base commander inside the cockpit.
"Get off me you stupid skunk!" Because his attention is focused on Bradley, he has no control of the L.O.C.K.A.H.S.O.C.K.A., which twitches and fires its last cannon aimlessly inside the command center, forcing everyone to evade the errand shots. "GAH! I SAID GET OFF!" 090 screams and manages to aim his pistol S.C.A.M.P.P. at the cyborg skunk and fires a single shot, sending Bradley flying out of the cockpit.
"NO!" Nigel catches the skunk with his telekinesis before it hits the floor and he can tell immediately that Bradley's shovel-arm is completely gone. "Dammit…You!" Nigel shouts as Numbuh 090 aims the last cannon at him.
"I'm ending this now! Good bye, Nephew!" He proclaims but then, something grabs him from behind and it's none other than Patton, who pulls him out of the cockpit, disarms him and throws the boy to the floor.
"WE'RE IN!" Kimberley and Ted shout victoriously as they succeed in installing the signal jammer.
"What?! No!" Numbuh 090 screams as Patton holds him down with his boot.
...
Outside, Wally and Kuki have successfully destroyed the flight deck's anti-air cannons, along with any 2x4 ships that where still parked on the runway.
"Good job guys! Shrinkify the T.S.-W.R.A.S.L.E.R. and let's go to the command center."
"Okidoki!"
"Uhm, how do we make this thing small again?" Before Hoagie can reply, Kuki presses a button on the control panel on her left, reverting the massive robot into a parachute pack almost instantly. "Numbuh 3, what the cruuuu…?!" Wally screams as they fall down but Kuki stops their fall with her telekinesis and lowers them gently to the flight deck while both Hoagie and The Kid land their machines next to the command center. "Gah, warn me before ya do that!"
"Calm down, silly. I knew what I was doing." Kuki gestures to Wally as they join up with Hoagie and The Kid.
"Well, that could've gone way worse. Those reinforcements got here just in time."
"You said it, hombre. We would've been screwed otherwise." The Kid nods and looks at Kuki over his shoulder. "You okay?"
"Yup, I'm fine." Wally immediately glares at The Kid but Hoagie steps in before he can say anything.
"Let's just go to the command center. We're not done here yet." The others nod as Hoagie activates his Exo-suit while Kuki and Wally activate their B.R.A.'s.
"Man, I gotta get one of those things too."
"I can make one for ya when this is over. Hop on." Hoagie gestures The Kid to jump on the Exo-suit's arm, which he does, despite some reluctancy. Then, the quartet fly towards the command center, with Wally blasting through the wall with his twin laser cannons. Their sudden arrival startles the center occupants, but upon landing, they realize the fight is already over, with all the operatives either unconscious or stupefied while Patton keeps the raving Numbuh 090 on the floor with his boot.
"Gah, you teenagers won't get away with this! The KND will defeat you all!"
"Keep barking, Splinter Cell goon. No one here's listening." Patton says coldly as Hoagie and his group, turn off their armor and approach their comrade.
"Aw man, the party's over already…I wanted to get up close and personal with these cruddy Splinter Cell punks…" Wally laments as Hoagie and Kuki notice Nigel holding Bradley.
"Bradley!"
"What happened to him, Numbuh 1?!" Both of the skunk's adoptive parents ask Nigel, who eyes Numbuh 090.
"He was injured while fighting the base commander. Thanks to him though, Numbuh Zeta was able to restrain him."
"Aw man, his arm's gone!" Hoagie laments while Kuki turns her gaze towards Numbuh 090
"You hurt my baby!" Kuki's face becomes oni-like and she has to be held back by Wally and The Kid.
"Calm down, Numbuh 3!"
"No! I won't calm down until I make that creep pay for hurting Bradley!" Kuki screams as tears flow from her eyes.
"Hah…hah-hah-hah! That skunk should be the least of your worries, teenager! The KND will be here any minute to punish you all! And I'll be rewarded for my heroic defense! Haaah-hah-hah!" The 11-year-old laughs wildly but his rant goes on deaf ears.
"No, this is the beginning of the end for the Splinter Cell. The Teens Next Door will make sure of that." Nigel says coldly as he hands the injured Bradley to Kuki while Patton presses his boot harder against the commander's back.
"You and the Splinter Cell are gonna regret pissing us off." But then, a shadowy figure descends from the ceiling and kicks Patton away from Numbuh 090.
"Guh, what the…you! Numbuh 20.000!" Patton gets up and draws his Stupefier Rifle, but the former Security Officer silently grabs a laughing Numbuh 090 by his collar and flies over to a locker behind him.
"Stop them!" Nigel shouts but before anyone can react, Numbuh 20.000 and Numbuh 090 enter the locker, which transforms into a 2x4 escape rocket that takes off immediately and flies up into the sky.
"Dammit…he must've been hiding here all along…" Patton clenches his fist while Nigel crosses his arms.
"This could be a problem…"
"So, he was chipped too…" Angeline laments as her presence is noticed by Hoagie, Kuki and Wally.
"Nu…Numbuh 78?! What are you doing here?!"
"She was being held here in suspended animation. I'm guessing Numbuh 1000 planned to chip her at some point." Nigel says but notices the pained expression of his teammates. "Don't worry, she knows what really happened. We're in the same team now."
"*sigh* That's a relief." Hoagie takes off his cap and wipes his forehead but then, he freezes in place as he notices someone else, standing near the control panel.
"What the heck got to you Numbuh 2? Wait…HUH?!"
"…Numbuh 5…?" Kuki stutters as a weary Abby takes a step forward towards her teammaters.
"Yeah…it's me…"
"Wha…what the crud are ya doin' here?! I thought you quit!"
"Numbuh 5 did quit…but I did some thinkin' and decided to…come back…"
"ABBY!" Kuki runs over to Abby and hugs her with her left hand. "I'm so happy you came back!"
"Same here, Kuki…" Abby hugs her back but she can't help but notice the strained expression on Hoagie's face. However, before she can say anything, Tommy waves from the observation deck.
"Uhm guys, that commander wasn't kidding. Something's targeting us from orbit."
"You don't think the Splinter Cell plans to blow this place up with the orbital weapons?"
"Right now, we can't close out that possibility, Numbuh Zeta. Numbuh Pi-2, why isn't the jammer active already?"
"Sorry, Numbuh 1. We got it installed but we still have to integrate into the communication system and it's gonna take a bit more time."
"Then we'll need to buy more time. Numbuh 2, you and your brother control of the weapon system. Redeploy the shield and prepare the defenses."
"Roger that." Hoagie replies stoically and runs towards the observation deck stairs, passing by Abby in the process, but he does not make eye contact. Nigel then walks over to Ted, who is frantically typing on the control panel.
"Give me your other Portal Disc. We'll need to transfer all the injured to the Wild Child at once."
"Oh, right, here you go, Numbuh 1." he hands the disc to Nigel, proceeds to create portal into the wall next to the destroyed blast door. Waiting on the other side is Numbuh Gamma.
"Excellent work, Numbuh 1. You managed to take over the Treehouse."
"We're only halfway done, Numbuh Gamma. We'll need to get the injured and all Teen Hunters onto the ship at once."
"Of course." Gamma nods and gestures to the medics, who were also stationed in the test hangar, to enter through the portal and begin moving agents and Hunters back to the ship. Kuki meanwhile hands the injured Bradley to a medic.
"Please take care of him!"
"Of course, we will."
Kuki watches with tears in her eyes as the medic takes Bradley back to the Wild Child for treatment, while the others start removing mind control chips from all of the command center's operatives. Numbuh Gamma then contacts the bridge.
"This is Numbuh Gamma. Commander, Sector V2's Treehouse has been secured."
"That's great news. Tell Numbuh 1 we'll deal with any orbital threats." Rachel replies over the coms and Numbuh Gamma nods.
"Roger that." he turns towards Nigel, who is keeping an eye on both the Gilligan brothers and Ted and Kimberley.
"Commander Numbuh Epsilon said that the Wild Child will take care of the KND's orbital weapons. So, focus on just getting the jamming signal up and running."
"Understood." Nigel nods and walks over to Angeline, who is standing silently next to a window.
"Numbuh 78, this might be a bit awkward coming from me, but I need you to do something important."
"…what is it? I'm not sure I can be of much help though."
"Yes, you will. Once the jamming signal is broadcasted, you need to address the Kids Next Door and reveal to the world what the Splinter Cell has done."
"What?! No…I couldn't possibly do that…I failed in my duties already…I was just a puppet for the Splinter Cell…"
"But you're the only one who can. Look at them." Nigel points at a few unconscious operatives, who being tended to by the TND's medics.
"They have no idea what they've been doing for the last two months, so to them, you are still their Supreme Leader, not Numbuh 1000. If we don't get the KND on our side, all of this would've been for nothing."
"I…can't…not after everything that's happened…I'm not a real Supreme Leader…"
"Yes you are. The Splinter Cell may have been pulling the strings the whole time, but you wore the Supreme Leader's helmet, you held the rank and you can do this. None of us can. All of us are teenagers, so they won't listen to us. My team are still treated as traitors after all."
"I…"
"You have the chance to make a difference. If you do, the KND will slip from the Splinter Cell's hands and we can take back the Moonbase."
"He's right, Numbuh 78! You're the only one who can do this!" Ted shouts over his shoulder. "You did nothing wrong back then!"
"Numbuh 42…" Angeline is taken aback by Ted's admission.
"The KND will listen to their real Supreme Leader, I know they will!"
"…" Angeline turns towards the window and stares into the bright midday sky in silence.
…
Up in the Moonbase, the atmosphere is extremely tense. Having lost contact with Sector V2's Treehouse, even Numbuh 105 begins to panic. "Sir, what should we do?! We can't reestablish contact with V2."
"Grr…" Numbuh 1000 grips his armrest but tries to remain calm. "Don't panic, you idiot. Once we clear those teenagers out of the way with the orbital weapons, the reinforcements we sent will storm the Treehouse. How long till you can start the bombardment?" He asks with a steely expression.
"30 minutes until cannons are in position."
"Good. We can't lose our heads. Remember, Father is our real enemy here. Those teenagers are nothing but a nuisance." Suddenly, another operative speaks up.
"Sir, we've confirmed the launch of an escape rocket from V2's Treehouse."
"What?! Where is it headed?!"
"Based on its current trajectory, it's coming towards the Moonbase."
"That coward Numbuh 090 ran with his tail between his legs!"
"Does that mean the teens managed to take over the Treehouse?" Numbuh 105 asks as Numbuh 1000 hides his eyes under the Supreme Commander's helmet. "Sir?" The Global Tactical Officer asks again, but he can tell Numbuh 1000 is on the verge of flying into an uncontrollable rage.
"…assign a new target for the bombardment."
"What?"
"The new target is V2." Numbuh 1000 says coldly, his tone showing no emotion whatsoever.
"Si…Sir, are you serious? Our fellow operatives are still in there!"
"We can always get more troops." his disregard for the KND operatives still inside V2 shock even his followers.
"We can't do th…"
"WE HAVE TO!" Numbuh 1000 stands up and glares at everyone in the command center. "Don't you understand?! V2 houses both the Array AND the mind control signal relay! If the teenagers turn them against us, we'll be at a disadvantage! We can reroute power from the Moonbase to replace the relay coverage but the Array is irreplaceable! Now stop staring into space and get to work! Don't forget why we're fighting! We've come this far already! We can't let a bunch of teenaged traitors ruin everything we've worked for!" His words seem to their job as his followers begin issuing the new orders, though some appear hesitant.
"Sir?"
"What now?!"
"The rocket has landed in the hangar. Guards are reporting two occupants: Numbuh 20.000 and Numbuh 090."
"20.000? Well, at least he made it out. Bring them here at once."
"Yes, Sir."
Soon, both the teenaged Numbuh 20.000 and a cowering Numbuh 090 are brought into the command center, before Numbuh 1000.
"I'm sorry Sir, the teenagers managed to overrun the Treehouse." Numbuh 20.000 bows before the Supreme Commander.
"And? What about the Teen Hunters?"
"They were defeated as well. Numbuh 86 was among them."
"Dammit, another useful pawn lost."
"However, I managed to take the level 8 keycard needed to access the Treehouse's weapon systems. They have no way of turning the Array against us."
"Excellent. At least you didn't fail me, unlike this fool!" Numbuh 1000 glares down at Numbuh 090.
"I…It wasn't my fault! Please, you have to believe me! They came out of nowhere!"
"How exactly?" Numbuh 1000 asks as Numbub 20.000 stands up.
"Supreme Commander, they snuck in through the bike tunnels. I can confirm that Nephew, Numbuh 60 and Numbuh 42 where among those who did so."
"What?! How is that possible?! All the bike tunnels were under strict surveillance."
"I think they used the decommissioned bike hangar in south-east Cleve. That's the only possible solution."
"Grr, of course…but it doesn't matter now. All those teenagers will be vaporized once we fire the orbital weapons. And as for you…" Numbuh 1000 stands up and walks closer to Numbuh 090. "I've given you plenty of chances, but you've failed me again."
"Please Sir, I can make it up to you!"
"I don't think you will. Guards, take him to the cellblock. We'll erase and chip him along with the rest of the prisoners once V2 is taken care of."
"No…NO! You can't do this to me! Anything but erasure! ANYTHING!"
"Take him away." As the guards drag a screaming Numbuh 090 away, 1000 goes back to his seat while Numbuh 20.000 stands beside him.
"You really are a good actor, Numbuh 20.000. They must've bought your cover."
"Yes, they did. They thought I was decommissioned after all."
"It was the right choice to keep you on our side when you turned 13. You're truly loyal to the Kids Next Door."
"I've always been loyal, more than anyone else."
"Indeed."
"Supreme Commander, we've got a problem." Numbuh 105 says cautiously.
"What is it?"
"All orbital weapons withing firing range of Cleve have been…destroyed."
"WHAT?! Destroyed? That's impossible!"
"See for yourself." Numbuh 105 presses a button and the big screen begins showing footage from the orbit above Cleve, which is strewn with the debris of destroyed orbital heat-laser cannons.
"How is this…wait…it can't be the Array…" Suddenly, the space behind the debris begins to distort as the Wild Child de-cloaks, stunning the Splinter Cell. "The…the Gihugeacarrier!"
"Since when could it fly in space?!"
"Damn them…of course! This was a two-pronged attack all along! Their target was never the Array! They want the Moonbase. Inform Fleet Command to send any available ships to attack that ship, at once!" However, before anyone can reply to his order, an alert goes off. "Turn that alarm off! What's happening?" Numbuh 1000 asks the Global Tactical Officer, who runs over to a console and his face turns pale upon seeing the screen. "Hey, are you listening?!"
"Si…Sir. The mind control signal…it's being jammed…from V2."
"…what…?"
"It's interfering with the Moonbase's mother signal. They've…cut off all chips on Earth." All eyes turn towards the Supreme Commander, whose face seems to go through multiple emotions at once before he jumps up from his seat.
"Don't be stupid! There's no way they could've…" He pushes Numbuh 105 aside and looks at the screen himself, which only confirms what he just heard. "No…no, no, no, no, no, NO, NO, NO, NO, NOOOOOO!" He screams and hits his hand on the console. "This can't be happening! Contact all Sector Commanders on Earth!"
"We can't, Sir. That jamming signal is interfering with all communications sent from the Moonbase." Numbuh 1000 takes a step back with his mouth wide open from pure shock. Then, all the screens in the command center light up, along with every other KND communication device within the Moonbase and all other KND base's, Treehouses and facilities. At first, there is only static, but then, a person appears on the screen, who, to the disbelief of the Splinter Cell, is none other than the previous Supreme Leader, Numbuh 78.
"Fellow Kids Next Door, can you all hear me? If you can, then that means you have been freed from the cruel mind-control placed on you all by the Splinter Cell."
"Sto…stop the broadcast!" A panicking Numbuh 1000 screams but his followers are unable to halt Angeline's speech.
"For the past 2 months, the Kids Next Door as we know it, has been used as a tool by the cowardly Splinter Cell and their leader, Numbuh 1000. This might sound crazy to you all, but, if you place your hand on the back of your necks, you'll find a chip implanted there. This chip was paraded by Numbuh 1000 as chip that would stop you from turning against the KND when you were decommissioned, but in truth, it turned you all into mindless slaves. Under the Splinter Cell's control, you've been forced to perform deeds that no KND operative would ever commit. They turned you against your own family, friends and all others deemed an enemy by the Splinter Cell. They were also responsible for framing Sector V 3 years ago and now they wish to wipe out all adults and teenagers on Earth using their new "Erasure" technology. As for myself, I was held in a cell in Sector V2, unable to do anything, until the Teens Next Door freed me. Numbuh 1000 and his followers have betrayed the Kids Next Door and they must not be allowed to get away with this."
"How do they know about "Erasure"?!"
"Grrr…damn those teenagers! Their using our old puppet against us! Make a counter broadcast, right now!"
"We could use the emergency channel…"
"I don't care how, just make it happen!" Numbuh 1000 runs over to his seat and grabs a headset from the small compartment in the armrest and begins his own broadcast.
"My fellow Kids Next Door! Do not listen to Numbuh 78! She has become nothing more than a puppet of the Teen Ninjas and Father! She is with the enemy! We must all unite against the evil adults and teenagers if we want to be free!" he proclaims, but because he is broadcasting through the emergency channel, Angeline can hear him and talk to him.
"So, you finally show your face, Numbuh 1000! Kids Next Door, hear me! This is the face of the traitorous operative who made you all his slaves and brought shame to the name of Supreme Leader! He is nothing but a scheming fraud who has been with the Splinter Cell for more than 5 years! He is the one who framed the members of Sector V for the destruction of the C.O.D.E. M.O.D.U.L.E. He has lied to all of us."
"How dare you?! You are the liar here! I had to take over because you were willing to hand the KND over to Father! I've dedicated my life to serve the KND, and I will not let a teen puppet bring us all to ruin!"
"Look who's talking! So many kids, adults and teenagers have suffered because of what you've done for the past 2 months!"
"You can't prove anything! Don't listen to her! Everything she has said are lies, LIES!"
"No, I am speaking the truth, and I do have proof." The camera zooms away from Angeline, not only showing the command center of Sector V2, but also a video feed from the Wild Child. To the shock of all freed KND operatives around the world, the members of Sector V, former members of Angeline's own Sector X and other former operatives they knew, are standing behind Angeline while Rachel and the command crew of the Wild Child appear on the separate video feed.
"Can you all see them?! They are the Teens Next Door and they have been fighting against Numbuh 1000 and the Splinter Cell all this time. They saved not only me but many others, who couldn't save themselves."
"They are all teenagers! They are traitors! You are looking at the enemy!"
"Wrong, you are only enemy here, Numbuh 1000." Nigel speaks up, causing the Supreme Leader's face to turn red from rage. "You drove us all out of the KND, because you saw us as an obstacle to your and the Splinter Cell's plans."
"You made us capture people so you could use them for your "Erasure" experiments." Patton says coldly
"You made me and Numbuh's 57 and 89 build those mind control chips and then you chipped them when you didn't need them anymore!" Ted clenches his fist.
"You and the Splinter Cell made us all believe that Sector V betrayed the KND, when in reality, YOU did. You allowed Father's forces to slip through the Moonbase's defenses during my 13th birthday and you let them destroy the C.O.D.E.M.O.D.U.L.E." Rachel says from the separate feed and then, she displays to the world the secret messages sent between the Splinter Cell and Father in the days before my birthday, which Numbuh Gamma had managed to extract from the data disc Nigel had brought from Father's mansion a while ago. Then, she shows the list of people that have been erased so far. These revelations sends shockwaves through the freed operatives on Earth as Numbuh 1000 tries in vain to rebuke the claims.
"Li…LIES! THEY ARE ALL LIES! DON'T BELIEVE THE TEENAGERS LIES!"
"The Splinter Cell also used their chips on teenagers, to use them as puppets, just like all of you. Even my close friend, Numbuh 86 was chipped and forced to do their bidding, kidnapping decommissioned operatives from their homes." Next, Rachel shows the contents of the "Re-Commissioning Log" that Wally stole from the makeshift prison. The report shows detailed plans to systematically capture as many decommissioned operatives as possible and chip them, along with a list of operatives already chipped, including those who had just turned 13. As the evidence begins to pile on the Splinter Cell, the freed operatives start to realize what has really happened to them.
"We were all taught not to believe anything an adult or a teenager says but this is no longer about teenagers, kids or adults. No, this is about all of us! Because the Splinter Cell made everyone suffer, not just kids. We, the Teens Next Door are proof that not all teenagers are evil and join the Ninjas. We implore you all to believe what you've seen and heard. We don't need to live in hate, like the Splinter Cell, who know nothing BUT hatred towards anyone over 13. They've divided this world, all because of their deep-rooted hate. That's not what the Kids Next Door stand for. The KND stands against the tyranny of evil adults, not all adults and teenagers." Rachel proclaims, evoking the image of her previous position as Supreme Leader, leaving a deep impression among the operatives.
"Numbuh 1000 is not the Supreme Leader, because he did not win the game of tag, he took the title from me when the Splinter Cell brainwashed all of you. If you let the Splinter Cell rule the KND, it will only lead to more pain and suffering. We must not allow them to stand in power any longer. We must take back the world!" Angeline shouts as her voice is heard across the planet while Numbuh 1000 continues to repeat the same words about her being a traitor but the Earth's operatives are not taking it anymore. Then, Angeline ends the broadcast, leaving a speechless Numbuh 1000 alone on the emergency channel, which is also quickly turned off.
