The Chocolate God

He stood in the darkened room staring at the coco-covered floor and waited. A shaft of light coming from the skylight above allowed the moonlight to enter. What he was waiting for he did not know, nothing would happen until his mind was able to clear away all thoughts of the rest of the world and of his factory. Slowly the fog of his mind began to dissipate. The image in is mind was taking shape and with all his energy he focused on the single square of a Milk chocolate Wonka Bar. The room around him grew darker as though all the light left in the room was being sucked up. William's eyes seemed to turn black as his pupils dilated to fill the whole of his eyes. The square of chocolate seemed to quiver for a moment then

POP

A tiny mint green sprig sprouted out of the center of the chocolate square and quickly began to grow upwards towards the moonlight. The sprig's colour darkened as it reached the level of William's nose where it suddenly stopped. The Oompa Loompa's watching from behind the tinted glass rushed for the door. Their young god had just collapsed due to the strain. They rushed into the pitch-black room and gently felt around on the floor to find their god. One of the workers stumbled over him and the rest moved towards the sound. Two took his feet and four took his body as they carried him out of the room and into the light of the hall to see if he had damaged himself. An Oompa Loompa dressed in blue pulled out a flash light and checked William's pupils they were slowly going back to normal and a tiny rim of lavender was visible once more. He took a handkerchief and dabbed away the blood that had begun to run from William's nose due to the strain, and lastly checked his god's heartbeat. Only when he was satisfied everything was in order did he have William taken to his room to rest. They all left the hall, only one Oompa Loompa stayed in the room to clock the time and height of the sprig. He recorded the data, which would be added to the past nine years worth. Taking a pot and trowel the sprig was put in the chocolate-laced pot to be transported to it's new home in the Chocolate room.

Just a little one shot that was passing through my mind one day.
