Taking a flight tomorrow from Alabama to NYC so now I have an excuse to type a quick chapter lol.

...

Aizawa stood in front of the class. "You'll have three instructors. Me, All Might, and another faculty member will be keeping tabs on you."

The class collectively gasped, murmuring their guesses.

Shira's brows furrowed. 'Must be because of the break in.' She thought.

"Sir?!" Sero's hand shot up. "What kind of training is this?"

As if on cue, Aizawa whipped out a flash card to present to the class. "Rescue."

Shira immediately perked up in her seat, an action that didn't go unnoticed by Shoto and Kirishima.

'This could be my chance.' Shira thought, sucking in her lips in contemplation. 'I always felt as if my quirk could do so much good rescuing people, I can finally test that theory.'

"This is what separates the men from the boys." Kirishima declared, balling up his fists. "I'm shakin' with excitement!"

"Finally I'll be able to show off how good I am in water, ribbit."

Shira peeked over Kirishima to look at her frog- like classmate. "I'd love to see you swim Asui."

"Please, call me Tsu."

Aizawa sighed. "Guys. I'm not finished yet." Once the class silenced, he continued. "What you wear in this exercise is up to you." He pressed a button that revealed their costumes from inside the wall. "I know you're excited about costumes, but keep in mind that you haven't gotten used to them yet, and they might limit your abilities."

Shira nodded, recalling how tight her costume was. While it didn't really affect her mobility much, it was quite a hassle to put on and take off...

"The special training is at an off campus facility, so we'll have to take a bus to get there." Aizawa concluded, walking off and dismissing the class.

After getting dressed, all of class 1A stood around the bus awaiting instruction as they rambled on about the field trip.

Ochako walked up to Midoriya. "Deku? Why are you wearing your gym clothes?"

Midoriya blushed, rubbing his neck. "Well, you saw it after the combat training, it was kind of trashed. I'm waiting on the support company to fix it up... Oh!" He gasped, turning towards Shira. She stood beside Shoto, the both of them quietly listening in on the conversation. "Todoroki!"

When both twins turned towards him, he faltered. "Oh, um... sorry. I meant Shira."

Shira smiled. "Yes, Midoriya?"

Midoriya suddenly bowed, his bouncy green curls covering his face. "I'm sorry about that explosion during the combat training. Iida told me what happened to you, I never meant for you to get hurt in the process!"

Shira's eyes widened at the apology before waving a dismissive hand. "Accidents happen, it's fine. Thankfully my suit has built in shock absorbtion so it took the pain, I took the force." Then she sweatdropped. "I was more disappointed in myself that I almost allowed myself to fall to my death more than anything. It's my own fault." She frowned.

"You did a good job catching yourself."

Shira glanced at her brother who was looking down back at her impassively. Smiling widely, she pinched him on his cheek. "Aww! Thanks Sho-chan!" She gushed, shocking classmates. Shoto simply allowed it, his face holding its usual lack of expression as if it wasn't even happening.

'They act so different but they look so much alike!' The class thought collectively.

Shira let go of his cheek, dropping her hands to her side. "But... I'm still not strong enough. And I'm aware of that." She lowered her voice to where only Shoto could hear. "My quirk isn't anywhere as near as strong as yours... or his." She hissed, making his eyes narrow. "Not even Mom's... But I'll get there. You better count on it." She declared, locking eyes with his determinedly.

Shoto stared back, before nodding once. "I believe you."

She smiled, happily linking arms with him.

A whistle blew, and Iida appeared, arm jutted out. "Gather around 1A! Form in two lines according to your student numbers so we can load the bus!"

Inside the bus, Iida sulked once he realized the bus had an open layout.

Mina sighed at his sullen figure, nudging Shira beside her. "C'mon Iida, you really need to chill!"

Tsu croaked. "If we're pointing out the obvious," She turned to Midoriya. "Then I have a question for you, Midoriya."

Midoriya stiffened at the sudden attention. "A-About me? What is it Asui?"

"I told you to call me Tsu."

He sweatdropped. "Oh, yeah, right..."

Tsu continued, unaffected. "That power of yours.. isn't it a lot like All Might's?" She asked innocently.

Midoriya stiffened even more, leaning away a bit. Shira's interest peaked, she leaned forwards to listen in.

"Huh? R-Really? You think so?" Midoriya rambled.

Kirishima butted in. "Wait, now hold on Tsu. You're forgetting All Might doesn't hurt himself, that makes a huge difference!"

Midoriya released a sigh. Shira giggled at the distressed green haired boy.

Kirishima continued, smiling at Midoriya. "Still, I bet it's cool to have a simple augmenting‐type of Quirk. You can do lots of flashy stuff with it." He then frowned, hardening his arm. "My quirks good for fighting bad guys, but it doesn't look all that impressive."

Shira frowned. Although her quirk might be considered cool looking in action, she would rather have a quirk that was more effective. Looking cool doesn't save lives, it's just something to look at. She looked down at her utility belt, fiddling with one of the inhaler coverings.

Aoyama smiled from beside her. "My naval laser has the perfect combo of panache and strength." He boasted, making Mina frown.

"It's lame if it gives you a stomachache, sweetie."

"Well, in my opinion, if anyone has the perfect pro hero quirks, its Bakugo and Todoroki!" Kirishima stated. Shira looked up in surprise, only to be partly disappointed when she saw him looking in the opposite direction- towards Shoto and Bakugo. Shira looked down, fiddling with her fingers.

'I forgot he doesn't call me Todoroki,' She bit her lip as she thought. 'So if he says that, then he's obviously refering to Shoto. Use your head, Shira.'

Bakugo huffed from beside Jiro, turning his head to look out of the window, while Shoto kept his eyes closed from behind him.

Tsu glanced at Bakugo before turning back to the group. "Sure but he's always angry, so he'll never get popular." Shira held back a smile from Tsu's bluntness. She didn't think she'd evert get used to it.

Bakugo jumped up, yelling. "What did you say, toad bitch? I'll kick your ass!" Shira felt pity for Jiro, who leaned away from the temperamental blonde.

"Ya see?"

"Its funny that even though we just met you," Shira could she Bakugo's scowl increase the more Kaminari spoke, and it made her scared for him. "We can already tell that your personality is flaming crap mixed with hot garbage."

As Bakugo started his verbal assault on Kaminari, Shira and Midoriya both sweatdropped from their spots.

Aizawa stood at the front of the bus, glaring at the class. "Hey, cut it out. We're here."

"Yes sir!"

From inside, the class marveled at the layout of the dome like building they were in.

"A shipwreck! A landslide! A fire! A windstorm! Etc!" A voice spoke from in front of them. "I built this training facility to prepare you to deal with different types of disasters!"

Midoriya gasped. "Its the space hero, Thirteen! The chivalrous pro who's rescued a ton of people from disasters across the world!"

Ochako whooped, clapping her hands. "Thirteen is one of my favorite heroes! What about you, Shira?"

Shira, who just silently observed the layout smiled and nodded. "I like them." She lied. Ochako returned the smile, before reverting her attention back to the pro hero.

Shira walked towards Shoto, who just stood silently. He didn't acknowledge her presence, only staring forward as she joined him.

"Before we start, let me just say one thing! Or two! Or three. Or four? Or five-"

"We get it!" The class chorused.

"Listen carefully. I'm sure you're aware that I have a powerful quirk." Shira listened in, as she didn't know anything about this hero. "It's called Black Hole. I can use it to suck up anything and turn it to dust." She did a small show of her quirk, intriguing Shira. It was... sort of similar to hers in terms of dangerous.

Someone spoke amongst the crowd. "Yeah, you've used it to save a bunch of people from natural disasters, didn't you?"

"Yes, but my quirk could also be used to kill very easily."

A collective gasp erupted amongst the class. Shira listened intently, taking in everything Thirteen was telling them and applying it to herself. Could her quirk be used to kill? She'd never even thought of the idea of harming someone with her quirk, or the everlasting damage it could do. She was always cautious of the surrounding people whenever she used it, although not as much for herself since it hardly affected her externally.

"Huh, I never thought of it like that." Kaminari muttered.

"Some of you also have powers that can be seen as dangerous." Shira caught Aizawa looking in her direction from the corner of her eye. "In our superhuman society, all quirks are certified and stringently regulated, so we often overlook how unsafe they can actually be. So please don't forget that one wrong move could be deadly."

"Even if you're trying to something as heroic as rescue someone. Thanks to Aizawa's fitness test, you have a solid idea of your quirk's potential." Shira looked down, knowing that didn't apply to her, being that she couldn't use her quirk effectively on any of the tests. "And because of All Might's combat training, you have a sense of how dangerous your quirks can be when used against others." At that, Shira took a glance at Bakugo. Although he was frowning, he was listening to every word their instructor was saying. Shira looked back towards Thirteen as she continued. "Carry those lessons over to this class. Today you'll be using your quirks to save lives. After all, isn't that what being a hero is all about?"

Midoriya grinned. "Thirteen is so cool!" Shira silently agreed. After listening to Thirteen, she gained a respect for the rescue hero. They were the embodiment of who Shira was striving to be as a hero, a role model. Aizawa caught the look of adoration, smirking to himself for a half second. Just as he suspected.

Thirteen clapped their hands. "Right! Now that thats over-"

Suddenly, the lights turned off, gaining everyone's attention. Shira frowned, noticing the fountain's water cutting on and off. Was this apart of the assignment?

The way Shoto slowly slid in front of her, tugging her behind him, she guessed not.

A swirl of purple appeared in front of the water fountain behind Aizawa. Alerted, he turned around quickly. The purple mist suddenly changed form, and a hand reached out from inside the portal.

Aizawa quickly turned towards Thirteen. "Protect the students! Stay together and don't move!" The class gasped at the sudden command. Kirishima grimaced, pointing in another direction.

"What is that thing?!"

Out of the portal, a man whose body was adorned in equipment walked out. But the closer he got, the clearer Shira could see that they were actually severed hands covering his arms, shoulder and face. Immediately after him, dozens of others followed suit, piling out into USJ.

"Wait," Kirishima took a step forward. "Is this apart of the training?"

"STAY BACK!" Aizawa yelled, shocking the students. Shira gripped Shoto's costume tighter, peeking over his back. Aizawa pulled his goggles over his eyes, alerting Midoriya. "This is real. Those are real villians." From her spot behind Shoto, Shira gasped, subconsciously releasing him in shock. She took a step back, fear filling her body.

"Where's All Might? According to the schedule we retrieved from U.A., he should have been here today." The aminous mist commented, creeping Shira out.

"So you scumbags posed as the press to sneak onto U.A."

The man covered in hands spoke up, "Where is he?" His voice was raspy, it left chills up Shira's spine. She took another step back to increase their distance. "I brought my friends, who're just as eager as me to end the symbol of peace... maybe if a I kill a couple'a kids he'll come out to play?"

Aizawa immediately activated his quirk, his hair and scarf levitating and expanding. Thirteen reached out a hand to block the students, but the class could only stare in horror.

Kirishima spoke up in disbelief. "Real villains? No way. How could all of them get into a facility so secure?" A few other spoke up, agreeing. Thirteen tensed.

"Good question. I'm not sure."

Shoto spoke for the first time, gaining their attention. "Either way, if the alarm isn't being triggered then that must mean that one of those villains has a quirk to mask their presence... They're fools for trespassing here, but they've obviously thought this out."

"Thirteen," Aizawa spoke. "Get them out of here and alert the school. Actually, if they're blocking our sensors then our communicators must be down too. Kaminari, attempt to contact the school using your quirk."

"Yes sir!"

As Aizawa jumped on the railing preparing to jump down, Shira stepped forward. "W-Wait! What are you gonna do? Your quirk isn't suited for this!" She called out in concern. While she didn't know much about his quirk, she knew the basics. He could temporarily stop a quirk as long as he was looking at the person. But the problem was, there was dozens of villains below, and even more kept pooling out of the portal as they spoke. Aizawa tilted his head in recognition.

"You can't be a pro if you only have one trick, kid." He said, shocking the gunpowder user. Aizawa ordered Thirteen to protect the students once again before jumping off the railing and into the crowd of villains. Shira gasped, silently hoping for her homeroom teacher's safety.

Although Shira couldn't see the battle from where she stood, she could hear each and every hit and impact. Thirteen turned around, yelling out. "Run towards the exit!" Shira, being behind everyone, was the first to turn to run. As they ran, Thirteen managed to catch up to her. But before they could get too far, the mist man formed in front of them. Thirteen jutted out a hand, stopping Shira from running into it.

He enlarged his form as he spoke. "There is no escape for you. We are the League of Villains. I know it's impolite, but we decided to invite ourselves in to this haven of justice to say hello... And besides, isn't this a fitting place for All Might, to take his last breathe?"

Shira bit her lip, fiddling with her utility pack anxiously.

"I thought he was supposed to be here today, but no matter." The sound of a cap opening caught Shira's attention. She looked over to Thirteen to see that the hero had opened a finger cap, prepared to use it against the mist man. "I still have a role to play."

At once, Bakugo and Kirishima charged the figure. Shira shrieked, taking a step forward only to be grabbed by the arm by someone. "Eijiro! Bakugo, no!"

An explosion erupted, shaking the ground. While the others coughed and swiped at the dust, Shira peered through it unaffected, looking for any signs of her two classmates.

"You live up to your school's reputation, but you should be careful children." The dust settled, revealing the mist man unharmed. "Or else someone could get hurt."

"You two! Get back here immediately!" Thirteen ordered.

"I'll scatter you all across this facility to meet my comrades," Suddenly, wisp like tentacles surrounded the class, absorbing them. "And your deaths!"

Inside the mist, the class fought against the whipping wind. A hand reached out for her, and in fear, she jumped away only to realize in her panic that it was Shoto. "Shoto!" She called out, reaching out her hand to meet his. Behind her, yellow eyes materialized. Shoto's eyes widened, and he readied to emit ice, only to hesitant due to the risk of hitting his sister.

"Ms. Todoroki," A voice spoke behind her. Shira slowly turned, seeing the villain directly behind her. She screamed out, alerting the rest of her classmates.

"SHIRA!"

"I just need to borrow your beloved classmate. My boss requests her company."

Shira quickly turned to run away, only to become enveloped in the mist. The last thing she saw were the three figures of her brother, Kirishima, and Bakugo running towards her before she was enveloped in darkness.
