It was two hours later when sam and Mercedes made it back to klaine's and they really didn't care about showing up late, they were still basking in their love for each other.
"Are you ready to face the music" Sam asked her
"As ready as I'll ever be"
When they walked in they could hear laughter coming from the back patio
"Well I hear laughing, that's got to be a good sign right" asked Mercedes
"I guess we'll have to go out there and see right"
"It's us against the world babe no matter what" Mercedes said we a concerned face
"No matter what" Sam said as he pulls her head up so he can peck her lips
Walking out the back patio they noticed everyone was sitting around laughing playing board games. Sugar spotted them first, screaming as she ran towards them.
"Look the happy couple finally joining us"
"Oh hush sugar"
"Hey diva how are you feeling" asked Kurt
"We're feeling great" she said smiling up at Sam
"Ok ok let them breathe" Santana started "hey Aretha how about we make drinks why you dish on you and blow fish here" she said pointing at Sam " amazing hot and steamy sex that yal obviously snuck off to have" now walking back towards the back door to head in the house
Everyone was all looking at each other in shock but Sam and Mercedes
"SATAN why must you be like this" said Kurt
"What we all know that's what they did, so why be around the bush now Vamos bitches"
The girls plush Kurt started heading in the house when sam pulled Mercedes back to give her a quick kiss "I don't want to go, this might be scary" she said with a pout.
Sam laughs at her and tries to kiss her pout away. "You'll be ok babe"
Santana comes back out and grabs her hand pulling her away from Sam. "Let's go wheezy you got the rest of your life to jump his bones, less kissing and more talking" she said
In the kitchen with the girlsKurt
"Ok chica start talking" Santana said grabbing for the liquor
"I don't know what you guys want me to say" she said suddenly feeing shy
"How bout start at the beginning" stated Tina
"Yea when did you guys decide to get back together" asked Rachel
"Yea when" asked Brittany"
Sugar and Kurt were preparing the fruit and cups for the drink while Quinn was trying so hard to not roll her eyes and keep her opinions to herself, she just felt like Sam wasn't right for Mercedes yeah they dated before but that's just the thing they were always on and off, on and off and quit frankly she felt Mercedes knew that deep down that her and Sam was not going to last she figured Mercedes is just fed up with being lonely or something. She was definitely going to have to pull her soul sister to the side to talk to her, because with everyone around she felt like Mercedes was just making the wrong choice because Sam just didn't fit her life style.
"Ok so remember when I song someday to you guys in the auditorium after I announced that I was going to be on bey tour"
Kurt, Tina and Rachel was shaking they head while the others just standing there listening even though the others wasn't present when she announced her big news she did call them personally to tell them
"Wait so when you left Sam stated he needed to get some air" Tina gasped "Omg cedes did he come out there to you" she asked
"Yes he did and we got to talking about us and how we're never truly happy without one another and I told him I still loved him" she was soon cut off by Quinn
"Wait wasn't you still dating tank then" she was giving Mercedes a stern look that meant business but Mercedes didn't care she didn't have time to keep going back and forth with her about this.
"Yes me and Trenton known as tank was still together but... soon as I got back to L.A the next day I met up with him and broke it off and told him about Sam"
"Omg how did he take it" asked sugar
"He was bummed at first saying had he went on the trip back to Lima with me I would still be with him"
Quinn hurried up and spoke "he most likely was right" as she said that she was receiving death stares from Kurt and Santana
"Um no we wouldn't, I would've just broken up with him anyways to be honest me and Sam are just meant to be"
"Ok enough of the mushy shit let's talking about him popping that cherry of yours" Santana said dancing around Mercedes while air humping her
"Omg tana would you stop" Mercedes was in full out laughing at her friend
"Wait you and Sam had sex, I thought you said you were waiting until you married" asked Rachel
"Right I think that's a lil bit hypocritical" said Quinn
"Maybe to you" Mercedes said rolling her eyes "but I knew me and Sam was headed down this road soon as we got back together, so what I just did it sooner and look at that I'm getting married"
"Ok ok so how was it" asked Tina
"Look all I'm going to say is that he" she said looking around to make sure they all was paying attention "he put it down ok, for my first time I was put in so many different positions that man had me promising to give him babies" she said laughing
Quinn just stood there rolling her eyes
"Oh damn I didn't know trouty can put it down like that" Santana said fanning herself
All the girls and Kurt was laughing even Quinn was laughing. They continue to talk, laughing and drink , the fellas came in the room and sat by there partners.
"What are you guys laughing and giggling about" asked puck
"Oh nothing" said tina looking at sam and Mercedes
"Oh no yal was in here talking about something" said Artie
Mercedes leaned in to whisper well she thought she whisper to sam "I swear I didn't tell them anything" she said giggling
"Oh satan what did you have her admit to" he asked
"Hey don't blame me for anything" she said but it came out in slurs
"Hey" sugar shouted "did you guys pick a date"
"Why would they pick a date sugar" asked Quinn "I mean they just got engaged things like that take time you know" she said trying not to sound annoyed
"Yea no need to rush right" asked mike taking a sip of his wife drink " I mean you can take your time and really think about this and make sure you guys are really sure this is what you want to do"
Sam turned his head to look at his best friend like he had grown two heads
"A long engagement is not bad at all" stated Jesse "I mean it would be ok if you guys did it"
"Um no a long engagement is not what we're doing, right babe" she said turning her head slightly to kiss his jaw
"Yeah my baby said she wanted to get married between thanksgiving and Christmas so that what we're going to do" he said giving her a peck on the lips pulling away smiling
You could hear gasping and choking going on in the room
"Diva how in the world am I going to plan this wedding in such short notice I mean it's already October" Kurt asked pulling out his phone trying to Jot things down
"I don't know kurtie but I know you can pull it off, it's not like you haven't been secretly planning my wait I mean since like forever and plus we only in the beginning of October so I think you got this" she said giving him a big smile
"Wait" Quinn started "cedes are you insane, that's to soon"
"I think it's perfect" stared Santana and everyone put Jesse and mike agreed
"Yea I'm with tana, I mean we all four" Blaine said pointing to him, Kurt, Santana and Brittany "had a very quick wedding, especially we and Kurt" he finished with a short laugh
"Look I know some of you may be concerned but this is what we want and if your not on board then you don't have to be apart of our big day" Mercedes said
"That's right baby" said Sam he was so proud of her for sticking up for they're relationship
"So when are you going to start planning" asked Rachel
"Well we have to fly out to L.A forrr" she started to tell them about Sam's big news but remember they conversation before leaving the hotel
~A couple hours ago~
"So when do you want to tell the group about your big news" Mercedes asked as she button up her jeans
"I don't want to tell them just yet" he said not making eye contact
"How long you plan on keeping this a secret, Sam this is big and amazing news Sam" she walked over to him looking him in the eyes
"That's just the think mercy this big and amazing and half of the group think I'm a Lima loser so why share this with them when they're just going to be negative about it"
"Quinnie and Jesse st lame ass do not make up half the group, but if you want to hold this amazing news in longer then I'm with you" she said standing on her tippy toes to give him a kiss
"Thanks babe look we meet with marvel headquarters here tomorrow and then we life out to L.A. to meet with the team there then we're off to plan our wedding"
"I love you"
"I love you more"
"Impossible"
They both share a sweet gently kiss
Present
"We have to fly out to the west coast for something and then we're going back home to discuss wedding things with our parents, Kurt you Tina and unique will have to make sure you all are present during these meetings"
"Wait why unique" asked Rachel
"Because her and Tina and kurt are making the dresses for the big day"
"So you really going through with this" asked Jesse
"Yes we are" said Sam
"Ok so when do you have to be back for L.A" asked Blaine
"Well that's the thing, we have to cut this trip short " said Mercedes squinting her eyes preparing for the back lash
"Short like how" asked Kurt
"Like short as in we leave tomorrow" said Sam
No one said nothing for about five minutes, then Santana spoke up breaking the silence
"Well shid I say we have us a rowdy night, huh am I right" she says
"Hell yeah" says puck
"Umm count me and sam out we have an early morning"
"Aww come on don't be a party pooper" said sugar
"Sorry guys but we'll be glad to watch you fools, right babe" Mercedes said looking up at Sam
"Right" he said
When the morning came sam had a brief meeting with the marvel in New York at 4 am where they talked about where his home base would be and what his plans were and what he could expect from the company but he still needed to meet with his team in L.A.
Sam went back to the hotel to collect his fiancé and they're luggage and by the time sam and Mercedes were on the plane headed to California they were both still tired. Sam lend over towards Mercedes who head was resting on the window while she slept. "Mercy baby"
"We are not joining the mile high club l, not this go round" she said in a sleepy voice
"But bab-"
"No sam, now let me sleep"
"Ugh ok I guess I can let you rest"
The plane ride from New York to California was bout a six hour flight and Sam and Mercedes slept the whole flight. When they finally got off the plane. Since L.A is three hours behind NYC it was just now going on 8 am and they had to headed straight to the marvel office.
Sam walked up to the receptionist desk while Mercedes stayed back in the waiting area.
"Hey how may I help you" she said asked
"Hi Ms. Linda is it, I have a meeting with Mr. Brent Woods"
"It's Lynda and let me just called his assistant real quick what's your name hunny"
"Samuel Evans"
She picked up the phone and pressed line 2 for his assistant
"Yes Ms.Lynda how may I help you" the voice on the other end asked
"Hey there Shelly I have a Samuel Evans here for a meeting with Brent"
"Oh yes please send him up will you Mr. Brent is expecting him" she explained
"Will do Suga" she hung up then turned her attention back to Sam "here's your pass you may go up it's the twentieth floor"
"Ok thank you" he said taking the badge, he walked back over to Mercedes. "Hey babe I'm headed up, you sure you're ok with staying down here" he ask with a worried face
"Yes I'm sure I'll keep our bags, we'll look crazy going up into that man's office with all our luggage" she laughs slightly. "We look homeless, really go head babe I'll be ok"
And with that Sam walked off headed towards the elevators. When he made it up to the floor to Brent's office he was greeted by a short petite brunette.
"Hi I'm Shelly, and you must be Samuel" she said all seductive like
Sam could have sworn he seen her eyes twinkle "Yes I am" he then reached out his hand for her to shake
"If you can just follow me I show you to Mr. Wood's office" she reach for his hand and entwined it with hers and Sam immediately snatched his way.
What the hell, he thought to himself Making it to Mr. Brent Wood's Shelly knocks on the door and Sam could hear the person on the other side answer.
"Come in" the voice on the other side of the door says
Shelly open the door " Mr. Wood I have Mr. Evans here"
"Oh yeah let him in, I've been waiting on him"
"Sure, go right on in Samuel"
"Shelly get us some coffee and maybe a couple of donuts or muffins"
"Yes sir, right away" Shelly leaves the room closing the door behind her
Sam and his new boss get straight to business
Meanwhile down in the lobby Mercedes is getting sleepy and bored of playing games on her phone. She noticed the lady from earlier that gave sam his badge keep looking at her.
"I'm sorry I don't mean to keep staring hunny" Mrs.Lynda says walking towards Mercedes " but I think I recognize you from somewhere not sure"
"I sing"
"Oh you do, what kind of genre"
"R , my stage name is Mercy J."
"Omg that's right, wow you're even prettier in person my daughter loves you"
"Oh wow thanks, what's your daughter name"
"Lyn, I know so close to my name right I know I just fell in love with that name but yeah she love you can I get a picture with you "
"Sure"
Lynda takes the picture and offers Mercedes something to drink and a snack when her desk phone rings "Oh let me go get that" after giving Mercedes the drink and snacks she walks over to her desk. "Lynda from marvel incorporated how may I help you" she nod her head and end the conversation on the phone with a " yes sir will do"
"Oh hunny it seems Mr.Brent is requesting for you up in his office, so here's your badge and the floor number is" she was cut off by Mercedes
"I remember from you telling my fiancé earlier thanks" she says in a nice smiley tone
Sam and Brent talked about scheduling and idea he had planned amongst other things
"So while your still teaching for the next couple of months you sure you can handle zoom calls and pitching ideas as well as sketch, come up with presentations and all that" Brent asked
"Sir my work drive is great, I tend to work best with a whole load, I promise sir I can do this"
Out in the main office area Mercedes starts to walk down the hallway when she gets stop by a tall leggy brunette.
"Excuse you're not supposed to be up here" Shelly says
"Um hi Mr.Woods sent for me I'm Mercedes"
"Hold on just a sec" Shelly picks up her phone on her desk to call into the room. "Mr.Woods I have a Porsche"
"It's Mercedes" she says with an attitude
"Oh I'm sorry a Mercedes here" she says in a mocking tone that didn't go unnoticed by Mercedes "ok sir will do" she proceeds to hang up the phone "you can go right in"
Mercedes walking in and Sam stands up so he can introduce her.
"Brent this is my mercy that I was telling you about"
"Well hello Ms. Mercedes soon to be Mrs.Evans congratulations by the way" he says sticking out his right hand for her to shake
Mercedes shake his hand." Thank you sir, sam what have you been tell this man" she laughs
"Nothing but good things babe"
The couple spent about another hour in Brent Woods office before he showed sam where his office was going to be. They were now walking towards the elevators.
"Now when you first get here we'll hire you a temp to be your assistant until you can find someone permanent, and I will be calling you later on this week I promise not to disturb you to much I know how it is planning a wedding"
Shelly was standing right there the whole time shooting daggers at Mercedes and when she heard Brent say wedding her head snapped to Sam "you getting married" she asked
"Yeah" Sam says looking at Mercedes as he bent down to give a sweet peck
"Oh well congratulations"
"Nice meeting you Mercedes and Sam I would be in touch" Brent shakes but they hands
"Nice to meet you Samuel" Shelly says in a sexy voice that Sam and Mercedes don't miss "Nice meeting you to Porsche" she finishes off with a slight attitude
"You can call me Sam and it Mercedes not Porsche" Sam says
"Oh I'm sorry I'll have to remember that" she says rolling her eyes
The couple get on the elevator when Mercedes spoke first breaking the silence
"I don't like her"
"Me either"
The couple burst out laughing
After waiting ten minutes for they're ride to come get them they finally made it to Mercedes penthouse.
"Baby can I give you a tour later I'm tired" she says pouting
"Yes baby,I'm tired too, how bout we catch up on some sleep then we figure out the rest after our nap ok"
"Ok"
The couple walked in to the bedroom and started stripping off their clothes, they didn't even bother with taking a shower. Soon as they're heads touch those soft pillows they both was out like a light.
So what are we thinking babies, are we still feeling it
It's so much to unpack and I want to do so much with this story
How do we feel about Shelly, I for one feels like she sneaky
