"Now, dance for me!" Without missing a beat, Tommy opens fire with the Cycle's nose-mounted laser guns, forcing Lee to bank hard to the right.

"Urgh, where did that come from?!" he shouts as Sonia looks through the rear window and sees the white Battle-Ready Cycle glued to their tail.

"It's right behind us!"

"Ragh! Hold on!" Lee rolls the Cycle to the left and performs a climbing Immelman, but Tommy follows them effortlessly.

"I could do that in my sleep! Now, answer my call! I want you to know exactly who will shoot you down!" Tommy forces his and Lee's Cycle's into radio link and taunts them. "You should be honored, for you're about to face the power of Sir Tommy!" his Delightfulized voice shocks both of his old teammates as they realize who is chasing them.

"Tommy…"

"Not cool."

"Oh? Well, if it isn't my old friends! Hah-haa, you picked the wrong sky to fly in! This is my territory!"

"Tommy! Please, you have to let us go!"

"Forget it, he's not gonna listen. We'll just have to escape."

"Escape? There is no escaping Sir Tommy!" With his superior skill, Tommy continues to fly right behind Lee's Cycle but much to his frustration, Tommy refuses to fire. "Come now, surely you can do better! I'll give you three tries to escape my sights and when you run out, I'll shoot you down!"

"This isn't a game, Tommy! And we won't lose to an obnoxious kid like you!" Lee replies angrily, showing a side Sonia has never seen before as he banks to the left, rolls and then dives down almost to the street level using a split-s maneuver, passing by the city library. However, Tommy effortlessly follows him through the maneuver and fires a short burst, damaging the left wing of Lee's Cycle.

"That's one! I'll give you credit for that move, but it's not enough, hah-haa!"

"Shut up, you nutjob! Why don't you drop that stupid act already?!"

"Act?! This is not an act!" Tommy yells back at Lee, who turns to the right this time and applies full afterburner, heading straight towards the Delightful Mansion, with Tommy in tow.

"You'll never be as good as Numbuh 2!"

"I am already better than him! I am the king of the skies!" Tommy shouts as he fires again, blowing off a piece of the vertical stabilizer. "2 strikes! Are you even trying?!"

"More than you did! You were never KND material! All did you was boast about your brother, all the time!" Lee continues to insult Tommy and Sonia realizes what he's trying to do, so she chimes in.

"Yeah, good thing you resigned! We would've had to listen to your boasting forever!"

"Argh! I was better than anyone else! I saved the world!"

"Yeah, but only because you disobeyed orders! You just wanted to be like your 'cool' big brother! So uncool!" Lee uses his barely functioning airbrakes and performs a Cobra-maneuver, catching Tommy off guard. As his Cycle speeds past them, for a split second it fills Lee's gunsight, and he does not miss.

"Gaaah!" Tommy shouts as his Cycle is peppered by lasers, blowing holes into the fuselage and the left wing. "Grr…you got lucky! That's it! Play time is over!" Tommy shouts and turns his Cycle towards Lee, who does the same and the Cycles fly straight at each other. "A game of chicken? Fine! Let's joust!"

"Don't let go of me!" Lee shouts as Sonia holds onto him with everything she's got. "RAAAH!"

"YAAAAH!" Both boys scream as the charge at each other, like a pair of medieval knights, but instead of lances, their laser guns do the damage.

"I won't lose! No one bests Sir Tommy!" Seeing the smoke billowing out of his foe's Cycle, Tommy prepares to claim victory, but Lee has other ideas.

"NOW!" he pulls the ejector seat switch, launching both himself and Sonia out of the Battle-Ready Cycle, which Tommy sees for a split second before he realizes what is about to happen.

"What? AAAAAHH!" Despite trying to turn out of the way, the pilotless Cycle slams head-on with Tommy's own Cycle, creating a bright flash and an explosion right above the cliffs near the Delightful Mansion. Watching the cloud of debris, Lee and Sonia, using their J.E.T.A.B.O.O.T.S., fly towards it and see an unconscious Tommy fall out.

"Tommy!" Sonia screams as she flies after him with Lee and they manage to grab him before he hits the ground. Then, they land near the cliff edge and Sonia checks Tommy's condition. His white fedora and cape are gone, along with his goggles.

"What do we do? If he wakes up, we won't stand a chance."

"But we can't leave him here…"

"Urgh…ow…" Tommy groans, causing Lee to step between him and Sonia, despite knowing that Tommy is Delightfulized and thus, much stronger and faster than either of them. However, Sonia realizes that something is off.

"Look, his eyes!" she points at Tommy, and they realize that his eyes are no longer hollow and emotionless.

"Uhh…ow my head…what happened? Where am I?!"

"The Delightfulization is gone…how?" Lee shakes his head in disbelief as Sonia remembers a story she heard about Sector V during training.

"The flash! Remember back when we were Cadets and Numbuh 1 gave us a lecture about the Delightful Children and how he freed everyone from their Delightfulization with a camera?"

"Oh yeah. You're right!"

"What are you guys talking about…and what's going on here?" Tommy asks as Sonia helps him up on his feet.

"Father Delightfulized everyone and we're here to stop him."

"Delightfulized? Oh yeah, there was a bright flash of light…but I don't remember anything else." Tommy scratches his head as Lee peeks over the cliff and sees the tail section of the M.O.S.Q.U.I.T.T.O.H.-W.A.S.P. jutting out near the waterline with The Kid's damaged and transformed Valkyrie kneeling next to it.

"There it is! We need to go down there."

"Go? Where?"

"We're going to get the T.S.-W.R.A.S.L.E.R. and help take down the Array." Sonia explains to Tommy, who hits hands together.

"Then I'll come with you! The Tommy can't just sit around while the world is in danger!" he puffs his chest while Sonia and Lee snicker.

"Yeah, he's back to himself alright."

"What's so funny?"

"*giggle* Nothing, Tommy. Let's go." However, before they can jump over the cliff, Sonia hears quick, stomping sounds behind them and her horror, they are coming from an autonomous Octopaddler that has caught sight of them.

"YAAAH!"

"What are you screaming abo…OCTOPADDLER!" Tommy shouts as the mech tries grab the three 12-year-olds, but they manage escape it's grasp at first, but the machine gets between them and the cliff while the Delightful Mansion's perimeter wall looms behind the trio.

"What do we do?"

"Don't worry, The Tommy will think of something!" Tommy tries to calm Sonia down, but he realizes they are trapped. "Oh no…come on…think Tommy think…" But before he can come up with a plan, the Octopaddler lifts its head and prepares grab him and his friends. However, before it can act on it, something rams the machine from the side, disabling it in an instant. "Huh? What was that?!"

Out of the dust cloud and rain rises none other than Bradley, piloting the smaller, two-armed Absolutely Completely Destructive Machine he stole from Chuck, one of Ernest's goons. At first, they don't know what to think of their savior until Bradley opens the cockpit and gestures with its small, normal hand. "Bradley! Is that you?" The skunk replies to Sonia with thumbs up. He had run into a group of Octopaddlers near the Mansion after Kuki told him to help the TND and happened to see the dogfight between Lee and Tommy.

"I don't know how you're piloting that thing, but you saved our butts!"

"Super cool!"

"Can you help us get down the cliff? The W.A.S.P. is there." Sonia points at the cliff edge and Bradley nods before offering the machine's huge hand to the trio, who jump on it. Then, Bradley leaps over the cliff and lands into the shallow water before offloading them onto the W.A.S.P.'s hull.

"Uhm…how do we get in?" Sonia asks as the rain and winds hit them from behind.

"Achoo…leave that to The Tommy!" marching past Sonia, Tommy kneels next to the locked hatch on the top of the ship and uses his personal 2x4 tool, the R.A.K.E. to hack into the ship's systems. "Hoagie would have my head if he knew I installed a backdoor into his ship…" Tommy mutters while he opens the hatch just as Delightful Ninjas appear on the cliff and open fire. Bradley immediately moves in-front of the ship and returns fire with ACD Machine's arm laser cannons. Jumping quickly inside the W.A.S.P., Lee and Sonia begin searching for the T.S.-W.R.A.S.L.E.R.'s tandem parachute pack while Tommy sees the stairs leading to the bridge. "Hmm…you guys look for the W.R.A.S.L.E.R., I'll go to the bridge."

"What do you mean?"

"I can't just let the ship Hoagie and I built to sit here when it can still fight. I'll can drop you guys off at the V2 Treehouse, like before."

"I'm cool with that."

"Be careful."

"Hah, The Tommy is always careful!" Tommy shouts over his shoulder as he runs up the stairs and enters the bridge. For a few seconds, he looks around at its sheer size and feels slightly intimidated. "Come on, you can do it. If Hoagie could, so can you!" Tommy says to himself and hops on the pilot's seat and switches the ship's systems on. "Computer, activate single pilot mode."

"Affirmative. Rerouting all controls to the main console." The M.O.S.Q.U.I.T.T.O.H.-W.A.S.P. hums to life as Tommy does a quick check on its condition.

"Why did you have to crash into a cliff, Hoagie? Don't worry, W.A.S.P. I'm gonna take extra care of you."

"We found it!" Sonia shouts over the intercom as Tommy turns on the W.A.S.P.'s six heliojets.

"Go to the side hatch and stand by. I'm gonna get us out of this cliff first." Tommy takes the controls and puts his hand on the lever that reads "Trust Reverser." "Alright, this better work!" Gritting his teeth, Tommy pulls the lever and applies maximum power into the ship's engine as the M.O.S.Q.U.I.T.T.O.H.-W.A.S.P. shakes and shutters and for a moment, it seems like the ship is about tear itself in two but then, with a loud screech, the W.A.S.P. reverses out of the cliff. Gripping the yoke, Tommy turns off the thrust reverser and takes off into the stormy skies over Cleve. "THE TOMMY IS BACK BABY!"

As the thunderstorm begins to loosen its grip around Cleve, Tommy flies through a hail of lasers while steering the ship towards Sector V2's Treehouse. Inside the ship's cargo hold, Lee and Sonia have found the T.S.- W.R.A.S.L.E.R.'s tandem parachute pack and with a little effort, manage to put it on. "Tommy, we're ready."

"Roger that! I'll drop you off! Bradley's gonna join ya down there, so stick with him."

"Cool."

"Be careful, Tommy."

"Hah, The Tommy is the definition of caution…woah!" Tommy bites his tongue as the W.A.S.P. is shaken by a C.L.A.M.M.A.H. shell's shockwave. "Ouch…all right, get ready to jump guys! We're directly over the Treehouse!" Tommy rolls the ship 45 degrees and opens the side hatch, causing Sonia to freeze from fear.

"Uhm…I…can't…"

"Yes you can. We're in this together. If Numbuh 4 and Numbuh 3 could do it, so can we."

"Ri…right!"

"Just hold on to me! Here we goooooo…!" Lee steps out of the hatch with Sonia in two and they plummet down towards the Treehouse. As they are being torn by powerful winds and heavy rain, both 12-year-olds pull their respective cords and the T.S.-W.R.A.S.L.E.R. unfolds around them. In the machine's cockpit, Lee has taken Wally's position as the pilot and Sonia sits behind him, taking Kuki's role as the weapons operator. "Urgh…this feels heavy…"

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine! I can handle this!" Lee shouts as T.S.-W.R.A.S.L.E.R. spreads its wings and soars over the battlefield. Up on the bridge of the Young Rebel, Bartie can't believe his eyes.

"Look Commander! The T.S.-W.R.A.S.L.E.R.! They did it!" Numbuh 58 shouts while Numbuh 59 cheers loudly.

"Yeehaaw! Now that's how ya do it!"

"Well done." Bartie smiles slightly as Virginia looks at him over her shoulder. "You were right. It was a chance worth taking."

"Oh, don't thank me…I just…said what I felt…I haven't done that in years." Virginia replies shyly as Bartie adjust his helmet and smirks.

"Even if you were Erased, you're still the same, even if ya don't realize it."

"*giggle* I guess you're right…"

The news of the W.R.A.S.L.E.R.'s appearance on the battlefield gives the TND a much-needed morale boost as they turn all of their weapons at the C.L.A.M.M.A.H. array. However, this elation is soon cruelly put down as a single shot splits the sky and a frantic message is heard over the radio. "This is the Wild Child! We've been hit!" Everyone's attention is immediately turned to the Gihugeacarrier, it's left side belching smoke. While the already damaged carrier had avoided a direct hit, the shockwave had torn a wide gash into the ship's hull, destroying both left side engines and then severed the D.E.F.E.N.S.E.G.R.I.D.'s controls.

"Urgh…status report!" Herbie shouts as the ship shakes violently.

"We've lost 50% of our thrust, Chief! We can't maintain altitude!"

"Ghh…dammit. Is there anywhere we can land?!"

"The lake near the mansion is the only place big enough for us."

"Then do it! Seal all bulkheads and lock down all levels! I'll inform the crew to brace!" Herbie presses button on his armrest and addresses the entire ship.

"Attention, this is Numbuh Iota-3. All hands, prepare for emergency landing!"

As the stricken Gihugeacarrier slowly falls from the sky, the Delightfulized Angeline smirks and takes a microphone over her mouth. "All teams, once that ship lands, commence boarding. Delightfulize everyone." Just as she finishes her message, the Treehouse is rocked by a loud explosion. "Ghh…what's happening?!"

"Ma'am, the cannon ring, it's been destroyed."

"What?! No!" While everyone's attention had been turned towards the Wild Child, Lee and Sonia, piloting the T.S.-W.R.A.S.L.E.R., along with support from Bradley in the ACD Machine and Tommy's W.A.S.P., had managed to strike the cannon ring with enough force that it gave away, causing the entire Array to fall to the ground.

"Woohoo! That's for shooting down our carrier!" Tommy shakes his fist at the smoking Treehouse while Lee is already feeling the strain of using the W.R.A.S.L.E.R.'s motion tracker controls.

"*pant* *pant* Alright, that's done. Let's go help the others." he says but Sonia can tell the strain is immense. After all, the T.S.-W.R.A.S.L.E.R. was made with Numbuh 4's physicality in-mind and Lee, being 12, can't compare. However, he isn't lacking in will power. "Ready?"

"Of course! Let's give 'em heck!" Sonia replies while gripping her joysticks, prompting Lee to smirk and he flies the T.S.-W.R.A.S.L.E.R. around the smoldering V2 Treehouse before rejoining Tommy in formation. However, just as they are about to leave, they notice Sector V2's various hangar doors open and multiple 2x4 ships, big and small fly out like a swarm of hornets, all headed towards the lake.

"Gah, you low lives! The Tommy won't let you lay a finger on them!"

Aboard a S.C.A.M.P.E.R., Angeline orders all Delightfulized KND ships to attack the Wild Child.

"They won't escape from us. Numbuh 34, take half of our forces and attack the damaged side of the ship."

"Roger that."

Meanwhile, the Gihugeacarrier slowly plummets towards the huge lake near the Delightful Mansion, it's crew trying to land the ship in as shallow angel as possible. Herbie and everyone else brace as the ship plunges into the lake, creating huge waves that strike the coastline and funnel through the hole Sector V made into the cliff, flooding the submarine port completely. With alarms echoing everywhere, Herbie struggles to stand up as the ship lies in a 10-degree list, it's hull having dug into the lake floor. "Gah…urgh…status report!"

"Uh…all systems are down…but the hull seems to have held. All sealed areas are reporting no flooding."

"That's a relief. Numbuh Theta-9, we need to get the weapon systems back online. Even if we can't fly anymore, we should still be able to shoot back."

"Roger, I'll contact Numbuh Omicron about it."

"Sir!" Another CIC operator shouts as he points at his radar screen. "The Delightfulized KND is sending ships to attack us."

"Ghh, they're trying to get onboard and Delightfulize us all. We won't let that happen." Herbie grabs the microphone and addresses the crew.

"Attention, all hands. The enemy is trying to board the carrier. Prepare for close quarters combat. Commence combat formation C-8-I-D."

Inside the ship's test hangar, Ted runs over to Kimberley and Numbuh Rho, who are preparing their EMP weapons while Numbuh Omicron had already left to restart the ship's Sodarium Reactor. "Oh man…we're so screwed…"

"Calm down, Numbuh Eta-4. We've got plenty of firepower to deal with any Ninja or Delightful goon that shows up." Numbuh Rho gestures with the EMP Launcher over her shoulder while Kimberley connects a cable from an EMP Rifle into a modified B.A.C.K.B.U.R.N.E.R and puts the weapon on her back.

"Just remember, shoot anything that has blank eyes, it's that simple. Here, you take these." Kimberley hands Ted a Stupefier Pistol and a S.C.A.M.P.P. with an EMP cartridge. "Okay, let's go. We need to secure the lab entrance." Cocking her rifle, Kimberley leads Numbuh Rho and Ted out of the test hangar and into the carrier's empty Science Lab. Pushing the sliding doors aside, the trio peer into the dark corridor from the lab entrance and the silence makes Ted nervous.

"Uhm…what now? I don't see anyone…"

"I say we head to the upper levels. Since we landed in the lake, we're below the waterline right now. No point hiding in here."

"I agree, Numbuh Rho. You to take the lead. We'll cover your back." Kimberley points her rifle at the corridor, prompting Numbuh Rho to nod and then slowly walk into the corridor, followed by Kimberley and Ted, who is shaking from fear. Using the emergency ladders, they climb up from the 37th floor to the main hangar floor. Here, they encounter a team from the Combat Force, wearing gray Battle Ready Armors.

"Numbuh Rho, Ma'am! I'm glad you're okay." the bald, African American team leader salutes the Armory Chief who salutes back.

"Same here, Numbuh Kappa-7. Have they breached the hull?"

"I don't know. All power's been rerouted to the weapons, so the intercom's not working. We've got no idea what's happening outside."

"Then follow us. The Switchboard and the hangar are in this floor, so we must stop them here."

"Roger that." Numbuh Kappa-7 replies, and they group begins moving through the corridors, towards the hangar. As they approach the entrance, they hear a large explosion from the other side, followed by shouting and screaming.

"They got in. Ready your weapons everyone. We need to help the hangar crew. And not a single Delightful minion gets past this door, understood?" Numbuh Rho says as she activates the armored door, which begins opening slowly.

"Leave it to us, Numbuh Rho. Let's go, people!" The Combat Force leader shouts and leads his team through the door, beyond which, a ferocious battle is raging. A large group of Delightfulized KND operatives have managed to blast through the already damaged left side hangar door and they are now swarming inside. However, they've run into heavy resistance immediately, as the Combat Force's Heavy Trooper unit just happened to be stationed in the hangar.

"You kids aren't gonna chip us!" One of Charles' friends shouts as he and the other Heavy Troopers concentrate all their fire on the huge hole in the hangar door. As Numbuh Kappa-7's team join the fight, Kimberley, Numbuh Rho and Ted stay near the entrance and provide cover fire.

"Keep shooting!" The Armory Chief shouts as she bombards the Delightfulized kids with her Stupefier Rifle, since the EMP Launcher is useless against un-chipped opponents. Suddenly, the operatives fall back, and the fighting abruptly stops.

"Huh? Why did they retreat?!"

"Don't ask me, Numbuh Eta-4."

"Look!" Kimberley shouts as a P.I.P.E.P.O.D. flies through the hole at full speed and crashes into the hangar floor, enveloping the whole area in a cloud of dust.

"Urgh, what the heck was that?!"

"Incoming!" Numbuh Kappa-7 points at the P.I.P.E.P.O.D. as its side doors open and a group of Delightfulized Teenagers fly out, among them none other than a Delightfulized Charles.

"Boss!" His friends shout and aim their weapons at Charles, but he only smirks and brings out his shockwave mace, slamming it hard into the floor, knocking multiple TND agents off their feet.

"Get 'em!" he shouts as the KND operatives start swarming through the hole once more while Charles turns his attention to the entrance, where Ted and the girls are standing. "There ya are!"

"Gah, come on! We gotta stop Numbuh Tau-6!" his friends shouts as they fly after him, but Charles' ignores them and attacks his old Sector X teammate.

"Come on, shrimp! Show me what you've got!" Charles fires his heat lasers at Ted, who dives behind the corner while Numbuh Rho switches to her EMP Launcher and fires back at Charles, who does a wide left turn to avoid the attack. "Hah, your aim sucks!" he mocks Numbuh Rho and throws a bundle of M.A.R.B.L.E.'s at her feet, sending the Armory Chief flying through the entrance and against the wall in the corridor, knocking her out cold while her EMP Launcher lands near Ted. Then, Charles lands and points his heat lasers at a stone-faced Kimberley, who flips a switch on her EMP Rifle and unleashes a barrage of EMP at him. While single shots don't do much damage, Kimberley's rate of fire causes parts of Charles' white and blue B.R.A. to fail, including his left heat laser cannon. "Guh…damn you…"

"I'm gonna bring you back to your senses, Tau-6!" Kimberley shouts and begins pushing him back. "This time, I'll save you!"

"Grr…I don't need no savin'!" Charles yells back and despite being nearly blinded by the constant flashes coming from Kimberley's rifle, manages to throw two M.A.R.B.L.E.'s at her, but Kimberley rolls to the left right before they explode. "Gotcha now!" Charles lunges at her and manages to grab Kimberley's right arm.

"Uargh!" she screams as Charles, using just one hand, throws her against the wall next to the entrance while her B.A.C.K.B.U.R.N.E.R. and EMP Rifle fall off. "Charles…" she mutters as Charles grabs her by the collar and presses her against the wall.

"Now then, why don't I put some sense into ya?" Kimberley's body freezes upon seeing a chipping gauntlet in Charles' left arm. "You're gonna be a great addition to Father's army…ghh, what the?!"

"Don't do it, Boss!"

"We're not gonna let you!" his two friends manage to grab Charles from behind but it's taking all their strength to hold him back. However, thanks to their intervention, Charles is forced to let go of Kimberley, who slumps to the floor.

"Grr…you damn pests!"

"Snap out of it, Boss!"

"Argh…will…you…just…let…GO!" Charles wrestles himself free and tries to approach Kimberley again but his friends once again grapple him.

"Never!"

Behind the corner of the hangar entrance, Ted has remained still, frozen in fear. He is still haunted by Charles' Delightfulization and now, he is right there, fighting Ted's friends. "…what do I do…?" Ted mutters as he hears Charles roaring. "I…have to…but…I…" lifting his head, Ted sees Numbuh Rho groaning near the wall to his right. She's clearly injured, but despite that, the tough Armory Chief points towards the EMP Launcher lying on the floor near Ted. Looking over his shoulder, Ted sees the weapon and then his eyes are drawn towards his old Sector X comrade, who is struggling to keep the two boys off his back while Kimberley is trying to get up. Reminded of everything he went through with them, Ted steels his nerves and grabs the launcher, puts it over his left shoulder and draws both his Stupefier pistol and modified S.C.A.M.P.P. "That's it. No more…I'm not running away anymore! RAAAAAH!" Letting out an almost primal roar, Ted jumps out from behind the corner just as Charles frees himself and tries to Delightfulize Kimberley.

"Huh? Guah!" In an instant, Charles' left arm is Stupefied as Ted charges towards him, firing his pistol and S.C.A.M.P.P. wildly.

"RAAAAAAAH! I'M GONNA GET YOU!" Ted screams as Charles' breaks the crystal covering his and turns to face the rapid former KND Science Chief.

"Oh yeah, pipsqueak?!" Dodging the barrage easily, Charles lets Ted come close before he punches him in the gut, causing Ted to drop the pistol and the S.C.A.M.P.P.

"Guh…urgh…" reeling from the punch, Ted is immediately lifted up by his collar as Charles' smirks.

"Hah, you thought ya could take me down just like that?"

"No…but like this." Ted drops the EMP Launcher he had behind his shoulder, and it falls directly in-front of Kimberley, who grabs the weapon and gets up on one knee.

"What the…?!" Time seems to slow down as Charles turns his head towards Kimberley, who points the EMP Launcher at him, her right eye staring through the sight. With Charles only a meter or so away from her, she can't miss, and Kimberley pulls the trigger, blasting the Delightfulized Charles with a face full of EMP.

"GAAAAAAHHHH!" The EMP causes fries his B.R.A., along with the Delightfulization chip in the back of his neck. As Ted falls on his behind, he sees Charles stagger a bit and then, he falls face first towards the ground, but Kimberley manages to grab him before he lands.

"Charles!" she screams as she holds his head against her left shoulder. Meanwhile, Ted is helped up by Charles' friends.

"Wow, that was one crazy plan."

"I had to do something…" Ted says with a shaky voice as he feels someone pat his back.

"It's a good thing you did, Numbuh Eta-4." Looking over his shoulder, he sees Numbuh Rho standing behind him, along with Herbie, who had personally led a team from the Switchboard to the hangar to help keep the attackers at bay.

"Huh…what are you guys doing here?"

"Defending the ship of course. Okay everyone, stay sharp! This isn't over yet!" Herbie shouts as he leads the newly arrived agents into the fray, giving the Heavy Troopers much needed reprieve.

Then, Charles lets out a weak groan. "Urgh…ow my head…" as he opens his eyes, he feels something touching his face. "Huh? Whaaah?!" he suddenly lunges backwards as he realizes that Kimberley is hugging him. "What…what are ya doing?!"

"Welcome back." Kimberley replies with faint tears in her eyes. Confused, Charles looks around and notices they are in the Wild Child's hangar.

"What the heck's going on?"

"You got Delightfulized, don't you remember?" Ted says as he and Charles' friends walk over to them.

"Delightfulized…oh yeah…the portal…ghh, that damn Ninja jumped us." Charles clenches his fist but then, he notices Kimberley staring at him and remembers everything. "Uh…I guess…I owe you all an apology."

"No…you don't owe us anything…I'm just glad you're back." Kimberley breaks down and hugs Charles, much to his surprise, while his two friends start snickering.

"He…hey, calm down will ya? I'm right here, aren't I? Ya don't have to hug me!"

"No, I'm not letting go this time."

"Come on Boss, give her a break. She went through a lot of pain because of you."

"Yeah, think about her feelings for a change." Ted frowns at Charles, who looks at the blond-haired girl weeping against his shoulder and then puts his left hand on her head.

"Aw man…I'm not good with this kinda stuff…" Charles laments but Kimberley doesn't care. All that matters to her right at this moment is that Charles is no longer Delightfulized and he's by her side.

Suddenly, the carrier's intercom comes back to life. "This is Switchboard to all crewmembers! The reactor has been successfully activated. Our weapons are functional again! Don't give up" Numbuh Theta-9 shouts, giving everyone much needed confidence while Charles jumps up and turns his back on Kimberley to hide his reddened face.

"We…we don't have time to cry right now! We've got a fight to win!" his stuttering makes Kimberley giggle as Ted hands him the EMP Launcher.

"I think you should use this."

"Alright, thanks buddy. Come on, let's goooo!"

"YEAH!" Charles heads into the battle, followed by Ted and his two friends while Numbuh Rho hands Kimberley the EMP S.C.A.M.P.P. Ted dropped.

"Look at him, it's like he never left."

"Yeah…but this time, I'll protect him." Kimberley replies and runs after Charles, causing Numbuh Rho to chuckle and join the hangar defense as the Wild Child's reactivated turret network opens fire on Father's forces while the thunderstorms begins loosening it's grip over Cleve.

"So how long till we get outta this damn maze?"

"One more floor to go, Agent Halcón. Keep your focus." Nigel replies to The Kid as they along with Rachel fight through yet another group of Ninjas. However, thanks to Maurice's sabotage, the internal defenses are no longer giving the trio any trouble, which has made their task of reaching the Delightful Mansion's basement a much easier task.

"Good, cause I'm getting tired of these pests!" The Kid yells as he sweeps his EMP Rifle through a line of Delightful Ninjas while Rachel summersaults over him while spinning her energy lance, blocking a barrage of a lasers aimed at The Kid before landing in-front of him. "Gracias, Commander."

"No problem. Numbuh 1!" Rachel shouts over her shoulder, prompting Nigel to blast the dazed Ninjas with telekinesis, clearing their path. Not missing a beat, The Kid flies ahead, rotary cannon and EMP Rifle blazing while Nigel and Rachel follow him through the tunnel until suddenly, the Ninjas pull back.

"Hmph, what, did they get scared or something?" The Kid asks as he lands, but Nigel and Rachel know what this means.

"I've got a bad feeling about this…"

"Is that the basement entrance?" Rachel says to Nigel, who brings up the Mansion's holographic layout.

"Most likely, Numbuh Epsilon. There is a large room behind that door, so be prepared for everything."

"Right and if we see anything, we blast them."

"Hmph, you're sounding just like Numbuh 4." Rachel chuckles while The Kid stutters at her remark.

"Gah, hey, don't say that! You're throwing me off my groove here." The Kid gestures to Rachel as Nigel walks past them, Stupefier Pistols armed and ready.

"I said focus."

"Yeesh, lighten up will ya." The Kid shrugs as Rachel puts her hand on his shoulder.

"Don't forget why we're here. This is personal for him." she whispers and follows Nigel towards the door while The Kid rolls his eyes and readies his rotary cannon.

"I would suggest we take another path, but this is the only way to reach the Mansion proper. We'll take on whatever Father has prepared for us." Nigel says over his shoulder as they reach the door, and just like with Abby's team, it opens by itself but beyond it is nothing but darkness. "Get ready." With no hesitation, Nigel leads his teammates through the door and it predictably slams shut behind them, followed by the room filling with light. Though blinded at first, as their vision recovers, the teenagers see a huge, empty room resembling a storage area of some kind. Lined with steel and concrete walls, the only other exit is across the room, having the same armored doors as the ones they just stepped through.

"So, what, is he trynna trap us here or something?"

"A good guess, but not quite." Father's voice startles the teenagers as he addresses them through the Mansion's intercom, but it also enrages Nigel, who's hands start shaking.

"Father…"

"I applaud you for getting this far, Mr. Uno. However, I wonder how you'll deal with my special surprise, prepared specifically for you in mind."

"I've had enough of your surprises, Father. You're the one I'm after."

"Oh-hoo, such a scary tone. But don't worry, this'll be the last surprise, I swear. Once you've cleared this room, my Mansion is waiting for you and I know you want to get me."

"Enough talk!"

"Yeah, quit stalling! Or is this just a bluff?" The Kid yells at an amused Father, while Rachel notices the doors on the opposite side slowly opening.

"Guys, look." she points at the door as figure wearing a pure white colored suit of armor walks in. The armor's design is elegantly slim, apart from the lower leg armor, which are enlarged and feature multiple exhaust nozzles while a single, light blue eye covers most of the figure's helmet's face. As the figure approaches them and the doors close behind it, Nigel sees a flowing, orange ponytail jut out of the figure's helmet, and he recognizes their opponent.

"Eliza…"

"What?! No way…"

"Miss Commander? Oh you gotta be kidding me…"

"Bingo! As your last test, Miss Solis will be your opponent! I've given her some…modifications, so she should be more than a match for you and your friends, Mr. Uno."

"How dare you…use her like that…" Nigel's rage begins building as his Silhouette Suit flickers for a split second while Rachel catches on to Father's plan.

"Nigel don't fall for it! Father's pitting her against us just so he can make you lose control again!"

"Grr…I know Rachel…but…"

"All we have to do is destroy her chip. Even if she's Delightfulized, the three of us can handle her."

"Yeah, it's 3-on-1. And I don't wanna see Miss Commander like that any longer." The Kid revs his rotary cannon as Rachel puts her hand on Nigel's shoulder.

"Calm down and take a deep breath. We can do this."

"Yes…you're right…We'll free…without my Silhouette Suit." Nigel nods and takes a combat stance while Rachel splits her lance to sword mode and The Kid readies his weapons as a silent and menacing Eliza slowly approaches them. Then, she draws her upgraded, blue-bladed sword and accelerates using her leg boosters.

"Augh, where'd she go?!" The Kid shouts just as Eliza appears right before them, sword ready, but Rachel parries the attack with her own swords while Nigel and The Kid take aim with their weapons. However, before they can fire, Eliza booster jumps away, dives and in an flash, cuts off The Kid's rotary cannon's barrel, prompting him to detach the weapon completely. "Aw man!" he grits his teeth as Eliza tries to slash him directly, but Rachel, using her own acceleration boots, gets in front of The Kid and blocks the attack.

"Eliza…we'll get you back to normal…" Rachel struggles to hold back Eliza but Nigel has taken aim with his pistols and begins firing at Eliza, forcing her to step away. As Nigel regroups with Rachel and The Kid, he realizes that Eliza is much stronger than when she first was Delightfulized.

"Something's not right…she wasn't this strong before."

"It must that B.R.A. she's wearing. Cover me. I'll take her head on." Rachel accelerates towards Eliza, who's helmet's eye locks on to her and she charges back. "Eliza!" Rachel shouts as their swords clash, causing sparks to fly everywhere.

"Let's do it, Uno!" The Kid charges up his EMP Rifle while Nigel aims his Stupefier Pistols and they fire at the same time, prompting Rachel to jump out of the way at the last second, leaving Eliza to take the combined EMP/Stupefier blast head-on. As she is engulfed by a bright explosion, Rachel lands and combines her swords while Nigel and The Kid keep their distance. "Did we get her?"

"I doubt it. At the very least, we slowed her downARGGH!" Suddenly, Nigel is kneed in the chest by a blindingly fast Eliza, whose armor shows no signs of damage. Stunned, Nigel flies in an arch and lands near the wall.

"Nigel, no!" Rachel shouts and tries to reach him, but Eliza has already closed the distance and prepares to strike Nigel with her sword, but then, she is shot out of the air by an EMP blast from The Kid's rifle.

"I knew you'd try that, Miss Commander. I can charge more than one shot you know." The Kid smirks as Eliza slams into the wall to Nigel right, giving Rachel the chance to come to his side and help him back up.

"You okay?"

"I'm alright…*pant* she's too strong…"

"Keep it together, Nigel. This isn't over yet." Rachel points her lance at the collapsed Eliza while Nigel does the same with his pistols. For a moment, it seems The Kid's shot has done the trick, but then, Eliza stands up and tilts her head over her right shoulder, her helmet's eye glowing.

"Here she comes!" Rachel shouts as Eliza twitches before dashing forward and tries to hit both Rachel and Nigel with her sword, but they dodge while The Kid prepares to fire again. This time, Eliza sees this and summersaults over Nigel before she points her right palm at The Kid, who immediately hovers out of the way, barely evading a concrete shattering shockwave that leaves a 2-meter-deep imprint in the wall he was standing in-front of just a split second ago.

"Yeesh, that was way too close." The Kid shakes his head as he flies up towards the ceiling, while Rachel intercepts Eliza before she can attack The Kid again. However, Nigel remains still as he realizes that Eliza is simply too strong.

"We can't go on like this…I'm sorry." Nigel holsters his pistols and covers his hands in his Silhouette Suit, before unleashing a stream of fire at Eliza, who dodges the attack, but his decision does not sit well with Rachel.

"Nigel, what are you doing?!"

"We can't beat her without the Silhouette Suit. Follow my lead, we'll attack all at once!" Nigel shouts as he covers his legs in the suit as well and starts to hover in place, prompting Eliza to attack him instantly, but Nigel creates a telekinetic wall in-front of him. However, as Eliza's sword makes contact with it, Nigel is immediately pushed back, much to his surprise. "Urgh…how…?" Nigel struggles to keep the barrier up as Eliza applies more pressure against it.

"Commander, we gotta do as he says!" The Kid shouts and dives on Eliza, while Rachel grips her lance and dashes at Eliza from behind, aiming for her back. "Gotcha now!" The Kid prepares to fire a charged EMP shot but then, panels around Eliza's armor open while a cover goes over her eye.

"NO! GET BACK!" Nigel shouts just as Eliza unleashes a massive 360-degree shockwave from within her armor, engulfing the room in dust and debris. Dazed, Nigel finds himself pinned under a piece of concrete, but he is not badly injured and his B.R.A. has been shattered into pieces. "Urgh…dammit…" he tries to summon his Silhouette Suit, but Eliza's attack has worn him out.

Across the room, Rachel regains her bearings as the dust blinds her. "*cough* *cough* Ghh…I'm not out yet…"

"Argh…" Rachel hears a pained groan and sees movement to her left. Without missing a beat, she runs closer and sees The Kid lying on the floor, his leg pressed under a heavy slab of concrete.

"Kid! Hold on, I'll help you!" Rachel grabs the slab and with her B.R.A.'s enhanced strength, pushes it away, but this causes The Kid even more pain.

"Gaaah…thanks…but I think my leg's busted…" The Kid struggles to speak as Rachel inspects his condition. His B.R.A.'s helmet was blown off and his leg armor has been crushed. As a result, his leg is broken from below the knee.

"Oh no…don't worry, I'll make a splint." she removes the crushed leg armor and finds two broken pieces of thin rebar, which she then ties around the broken area with a gauze and tape from her B.R.A.'s first aid kit. However, as she is about to finish, The Kid sees a shadow behind her.

"Get down!" he shouts and fires his still functioning EMP Rifle as at Eliza, knocking her back into the dust cloud.

"Thanks…I owe you. Stay here. I'll draw her attention away and find Nigel."

"Don't worry, I can't really move from here anyway…" despite the pain, The Kid still manages to crack a joke and smile through his broken shades while Rachel smiles back and then runs into the dust cloud filling the room.

"Nigel! Can you hear me?!"

"Yes…but I can't move…where are you?"

"Hold on, I'll be right there...huh?!" From the corner of her eye, Rachel sees a faint streak of blue inside the dust cloud and instantly reacts with her lance, parrying Eliza's surprise attack. Her armor is now visibly damaged and electricity surges out of it's joints. She, however, remains ominously silent as Rachel tries to hold her back with all her might. "I know…you can hear me, Eliza…we're not your enemies!" Rachel shouts but predictably, her words have no effect as her old comrade points her left palm at Rachel, but she jumps backwards and points her own left palm at Eliza. Both girls release their shockwaves at the same time, creating an intense explosion that blows away all the dust. However, Eliza's shockwave was much stronger, and she stands before a collapsed Rachel, sword pointed at her head. Suddenly, a Stupefier beam hits her blade, encasing the weapon in crystal, followed by an EMP blast that knocks her off her feet. This gives Rachel the chance to stand up as Nigel and The Kid urge her own.

"Now's your chance!"

"Take her down!" The boys shout as Rachel gathers all her strength and lunges at the stunned Eliza, slashing her chest plate and follows it through with a passing slash on her back, causing Eliza's armor to falter.

"YAAAAH!" Rachel screams and aims at Eliza's back, but at the last second, she turns around and Rachel's swords strike her helmet, sending it flying away. Nigel, watching from a short distance, sees a black aura begin to cover Eliza's hair.

"RACHEL! GET AWAY!" However, at that moment, Eliza's armor shatters completely, creating another shockwave that slams Rachel into the wall behind her. Then, as she lifts her head, she sees a truly horrifying sight: Eliza is covered from head to toe in a pitch-black aura with a blue outline as blue flames begin sprouting from her body. "No…this can't be…Father…what have you done…" Nigel is able to speak, as he realizes that his cousin, Eliza Solis, former Numbuh 10 of the KND and current Numbuh Alpha of the TND, has a Silhouette Suit. "Eliza…no…" Nigel catches a glimpse of her face but unlike his and Father's Silhouette Suits, her Suit shows her mouth, and her expression sends chills down his spine: she has a deranged, evil smile on her face and as she points her right hand at the helpless Rachel, she starts to cackle.

"Kh-khhhh…Gah-hah-haha-hahaha!" Her laughter echoes in the across the room as she generates a blue sphere of fire from her hand, ready to launch it at Rachel but before she can do so, The Kid fires his EMP rifle at her back, which has no effect. However, this prompts her to throw the sphere at The Kid, who manages to put his rifle in-front of the blue fire ball and it is immediately vaporized. "Hah-hah-hah…" Eliza smirks and turns her attention back towards Rachel, who has managed to stand up but her strength is gone.

"Urgh…Eliza…" Rachel mutters as her former friend once more points her hand at her but this time, Eliza lifts her up with telekinesis and slams her hard into the ground, causing pieces of Rachel's armor to shatter. "ARRGH!" she screams as Eliza lifts her up again and drops her to the concrete floor like a rag doll. As her screams of pain fill the room, a stunned Nigel stares in disbelief at what is happening. He can't get his thoughts straight despite a voice telling him to act. As he struggles to free himself from under the concrete slab, he hears a faint cackle in head. A cackle that he hasn't heard since the downtown Hideout but the more Rachel screams, the louder it gets. Nigel's heartbeat increases as he desperately tries to move but the slab is too heavy. Then, his eyes turn yellow as his body starts emitting heat and the slab begins to break apart before shattering into pieces.

"No…NO!" Nigel roars as his Silhouette Suit ignites, surrounding him in intense yellow and red flames before he rushes forwards, enveloping himself in a sphere of fire as he rams Eliza. Their clash causes the room to light up in red and blue flames and standing in the middle of it all are the red and black Nigel and the blue and black Eliza in a deadlock. The heat becomes so immense that it begins to melt the concrete around them as neither refuses to give up. "Give her back! GIVE HER BACK!" An enraged Nigel shouts as he stares intensely at the smirking Eliza, who laughs and turns intangible and tries to attack Nigel from behind, but he counters the attack with a burst of fire from his palm. Eliza jumps back and fires a heat ray from her hands, prompting Nigel to do the same, creating an explosion strong enough to shake the Mansion to its core.

Leaning against a wall, Rachel can't do anything else except watch as the cousins go all out at each other. "Nigel…don't lose yourself…" Rachel mutters as tears start forming in her brown eyes, frustrated that she can't do anything to stop them.

"RAARGH!" Nigel generates a sword of fire from his right hand and Eliza copies his attack. As their swords clash, their faces come close to each other and Nigel peers into Eliza blank, blue eyes. Somewhere buried under those wicked eyes is his older cousin, who he had always treated more like a sister. A true role model of a KND operative. However, now those quirky and mischievous eyes were tainted by the detestable Silhouette Suit and Nigel has been forced to fight against her using his Suit. As they continue to exchange blows, Nigel's flame colors start to turn from red to blue as he tries to overpower Eliza, who has easily kept up with his attacks. She starts rapidly teleporting around the room in an attempt to confuse Nigel, but when Eliza tries to catch him by surprise, Nigel turns himself intangible and encases his right fist in bluish flames, striking Eliza in the chest, knocking her back.

"YAAAH!" Nigel stops as he hears a painful scream, but it did not come from Eliza's mouth, who stands before him, glaring murderously. But as he takes a closer look, Nigel sees blue tears forming in her eyes.

"What the…"

"Nigel…" the voice speaks again, and Nigel recognizes it.

"Eliza…" They've somehow managed to establish a telepathic link, which gives Nigel hope that his cousin isn't completely gone.

"Help me…I can't…hold on much longer…everything is turning…dark…"

"I will! I'll free you! Count on it!" his flames begin reverting back to red as Nigel calms down and takes a stance as Eliza summons two flame spheres and unleashes a torrent of flames from them, but Nigel simply swats the fire aside as he tries to reach out to Eliza once more. "Stay with me!"

"It hurts…hurry…"

Behind Eliza, among the rubble, The Kid has managed to pull himself up and leans against a block of concrete. Just like Rachel, he can't do anything to help Nigel but as he looks at Eliza's back, he sees a small, glowing blue square. "That's gotta be it…urgh…Uno! The chip! Destroy that chip already!" Both Nigel and Eliza hear him, and she immediately fires a heat ray at The Kid, but Nigel jumps on it's path, blasting him into wall.

"Ghh…dammit…"

"Hah-hah-hah, that's it…"

"No! I won't listen to you!"

"It's almost time, Nephew. Time to use the full power of the Suit." To Nigel's horror, Grandfather's specter appears before him and looks down upon him, despite Nigel still having the Book of KND under his hoodie.

"Stay out of this! I don't need you!"

"Then you will die like a rat." Grandfather replies coldly and fades away as a Delightfulized Elize charges at him, wielding two discs of fire.

"Nigel!" Rachel screams from across the room as Nigel's Suit's outline turns purple.

"Raaah!" Nigel stands up and unleashes black tentacles from his body, ensnaring Eliza and lifting her out of the ground. Nigel then hovers up to the same height and runs his arm through her chest, much to the horror of The Kid and Rachel.

"No!" Rachel starts running towards them as Nigel's hand comes out of Eliza's upper back and wraps its fingers around something. Then, a faint crunching sound is heard as Eliza starts screaming in unspeakable pain while her Silhouette Suit starts deforming and cracking. Then, Nigel pulls his arm back as he destroys the source of the evil, the Delightfulization chip. He had turned his arm intangible and as it passed through her body, his hand became solid, allowing him to grab the chip. Eliza's body twitches wildly while blue energy surges out of her before the Silhouette Suit shatters, reverting Eliza back to normal. Her eyes look down upon Nigel and she gives him a weak but grateful smile.

"Thank you…" Then, she loses consciousness as the tentacles disappear and Eliza falls into Nigel's arms as he gently lands and collapses on his knees. As he cradles his cousins head in his arms, Nigel's Silhouette Suit fades away and his shades fall off, revealing a stream of tears flooding down his eyes.

"Dammit…I'm sorry…I failed you…" Nigel weeps as Rachel comes to his side while The Kid limps towards them, using a broken piece of rebar as a crutch. Neither can say anything to him as Nigel weeps silently but the more he cries, his rage also grows. Nigel looks up at the ceiling and takes a deep breath as Rachel kneels next to him and puts her hand on his shoulder.

"You did it…you saved Eliza…"

"But at what cost…I'll never forgive myself for letting her go through this…not only was she Delightfulized…but Father somehow gave her a Silhouette Suit…that monster…" Nigel looks at his shaking left hand and closes it into a fist, covering it in his Suit. With a deep look of distain, Nigel clenches his fist and then opens it. "I don't want…anyone else to carry this burden…no more. I'll end this…" he says silently and picks up his shades while gesturing to Rachel. "Take care of her." Before she can react, Nigel stands up and begins walking towards the door from which Eliza entered the room.

"Wait! Nigel, where are you going?!"

"Putting an end to everything…my curse…my guilt…and Father…" Nigel says over his shoulder as his Silhouette Suit ignites and Rachel realizes that Father's plan had worked.

"No! You can't go by yourself! That's what Father wants! Nigel!" Rachel stands up and tries to run after him but Nigel knocks her off her feet with telekinesis.

"Don't follow me. I don't want anyone else to suffer at Father's hand. From here on, I'm going alone."

"Nigel, no! Are you forgetting what we talked about?! You can't do this alone!"

"I have to." Nigel ignores Rachel's pleas as he destroys the door with a heat ray and disappears into the dark hallway, leaving Rachel and The Kid behind.

"…DAMMIT!" Rachel screams and kicks a piece of rubble in two to vent out her frustration. "You idiot! You fell for his trap!"

"Then what are ya waiting for?! Go after him already!" The Kid says as he sits down next to the unconscious Eliza.

"I can't just…leave you two here. What if Father sends Ninjas here?"

"I've still got my heat lasers and stealth cloak. It's got enough coverage to keep us both hidden. I'll wait until Miss Commander wakes up and we'll get outta here. You gotta go after Uno." The Kid gives Rachel a stern look and she shakes her head before turning her damaged armor back on.

"Right. I'll go make sure that hothead won't get in trouble." Rachel nods to The Kid and runs through the door Nigel used while The Kid sighs and looks at the sleeping Eliza, who seems almost tranquil, despite what just happened to her.

"Time to pay back my debt. I'll protect ya with my life if I have to. Heh…I'm starting to get how you've felt, Beetles. Feels kinda nice to have a reason to fight." The Kid mutters as he turns on his stealth cloak and hides both himself and Eliza under it as silence falls into the rubble strewn room.

Numbuh 10's fight with Nigel, Rachel and The Kid had multiple inspirations: Eliza's B.R.A.'s design is based on Gray Fox's Cyborg Ninja armor from Metal Gear Solid while it's color scheme and the 360 shockwave attack is from Armored Core 4 and Armored Core: For Answer, specifically from the game's titular mech, White Glint and the Assault Armor AoE attack.. Her role is also similar to White Glint, since both were allies that were forced to fight against the protagonists.
