Not every day on pinata island is hot and humid. Today, it was warm and dry. Flocks of parrybos flew in the skies as herds of moozipans grazed happily in the fields.
The villagers too were getting lively as clothing and mask stores and even food markets were packed since Valentine's Day was in just a few days!
Even the pinatas were lively!
"Today's the day!" Mae said and practically flew out of bed, nearly face-planting into the wall beside her.
She then slipped her golden-yellow poncho over her shoulders and went downstairs. Mae walked over to a little purple and blue bird house and sprinkled some seeds into the bowl in front of it and headed over to a glass door and slid it open.
The young witch then put her hand into the pouch on her waist and grabbed some pinata feed, dropping it into a large trough.
Mae then pulled out her alert system and cycled through her contacts. She thought of offering Gretchen to go wedding dress shopping with, but she went with Petula instead.
"Uhhh... hey Mae... it's like... six in the morning..." Petula groaned.
"Sorry, but since my wedding is in only a few hours... want to go dress shopping?" Mae could practically hear Petula's grin.
"Hell yes! Where are we heading?!"
"Ahaha! This plan is flawless!" Said a man in a black and red patterned helmet-like mask. He sat down in his chair with an evil smirk on his face, his sharp teeth showing.
"Whatever you say 'Master'..." Dastardos huffed rolling his one, good, glowing eye while he sat in the air with his arms and legs crossed.
"Now, now, no need to flatter me!" Pester said waving his hand.
"Go get the prisoner!" He said and waved his hand again. Dastardos huffed and fazed through the wall behind him and floated down the stairs.
"Stupid Pester... thinking he can boss me around like a slave!" The ghost muttered under his breath. He came towards an old jail cell.
"Hey!"
"HEY!" Dastardos repeated with frustration and pounded his fist against the rusty bars of the cell.
"Y-yes...?" A stuttered voice said. He looked at the girl, she had ginger hair braided into a long plat, her skin was pail with a black mark on her collarbone that went down and along her right arm and onto the back of her hand, ending with a diamond shape. It was shown that she had attempted to hide it as there was what looked like a dirty rag concealing it. She also had a purple mask which had a feathery shape where the ears would be making it look like a hootyfruity, also having orange triangle accents around her eyes.
"The boss wants you." He hissed, the ginger stood up shakily and walked to the bars of the cell. Dastardos grabbed her arm and fazed her through the rusty bars with a tight grip on her wrist.
"I don't want you getting away like last time."
"Ah! Alisa, I have a job for you..." She nodded...
"I need you to crash a little party, more specifically... a wedding." Alisa gulped. Pester then proceeded to put what looked like a metal band around her neck and made it tight.
"W-what's this?" she asked nervously, still trembling.
"It's a shock collar. If you try to take it off or get away it will hurt a lot." He then grinned widely and laughed.
"Yes s-sir." Alisa nodded.
"I'll go get my sour limoserus."
"I can't wait!" Laila bounced with excitement. She was grinning so widely that it scared Alex a little. They were walking down a dirt-road.
"Here we are!" Laila said with excitement, Alex looked at the note and re-read it and looked back up at the venue. He looked at Laila, her eyes practically had stars in them, she was that excited and he understood why.
'Wow... this is gorgeous.' The Russian thought as he stared at where the wedding was going to be held.
"I think we should wai-" Alex was cut off as Laila grabbed his hand and ran, while a child-like grin could be seen on her face.
"Ok ok... This dress will look perfect on you!" Petula said with a grin, the two of them were looking at the most beautiful dress ever made.
The dress was a large, puffy, white silk dress, it had a purple hue to it. It was layered and had a shiny, silver trim to the top four layers, however, the layers below had a golden trim and the rest above the trim was a velvet which had a stronger purple hue.
"Hmmm..." Mae put a finger on her chin.
"I'll ask if they have it in pale-blue.
"So... does that mean we are getting it?" Leafos asked and the witch nodded in agreement, and went to find one of the employees.
"Hi, we were wondering if this store has this dress in a pale-blue." The employee nodded and proceeded to point to an aisle with a sign the read 'Most Expensive'.
"O-ok thankyou..." Mae said as the two girls stared at the sign, praying that the dress won't too expensive.
"L-lets g-g-go..." The two of them walked down the aisle looking at all the beautifully made dresses. Finally, they found the dress they were looking for.
"It's perfect!" The witch said and jumped for joy. Leafos' jaw dropped as she looked at the price tag on the dress.
"Uh... what's wrong- Ohhhhhh my god!" They both stared at the tag in shock.
"220000 Chocolate Coins?!" Mae shouted in pure shock.
"How the hell do I pay that off?!"
"I'll pay." Leafos said and Mae cocked a brow.
"I am the daughter of the wealthiest man on the island, you know."
"Oh yeah. Jardinero." The young witch said. She had forgotten that she was.
