~Tangled~

Tifa was right where she wanted to be. All curled up on the couch with a steaming cup of coffee in front of her, a fleece blanket to keep her warm along with her pjs that were fleece black pants and an oversized grey sweater, and resting in her hands was her new Kindle Fire that she has gotten from Cloud for Christmas.

She smiled to herself at the memory of her opening it up and thanking him for the gift by kissing him deeply, and yes in front of all their friends who whistled and cheered. Cloud only blushed and muttered 'Aerith helped...' since he wasn't a fan of being the center of attention.

Sighing happily, Tifa turned on her new Kindle and tapped her way right to the book she purchased recently, for the past couple days, this is how Tifa spent them. Sitting on the couch in her pj's reading on her Kindle and she didn't feel guilty in the slightest. Why should she when she's fought to save the world many times from Shinra, to Sephiroth, and along with the issue with Deepground.

Now that the world has finally settled down, and that she FINALLY has some time off from the bar, Tifa finally has time for herself and she loves it. However, when it came to the children, Marlene escpecially...sometimes Tifa couldn't have her time until it was after the children's bedtime, but that usually meant her 'time' with Cloud.

Tifa blushed at the thought and shook her head slightly before drawing her attention back to her Kindle. Although, it wasn't long until she heard the slight thumps of footsteps coming down from the stairs, Tifa knew right away that it was Marlene because she was a lot lighter on her feet unlike Cloud and Denzel.

"Yes, Marlene?" Tifa asked the girl without looking up from her Kindle.

Marlene stood in front of her parent, still in her princess nightgown, her long brown hair undone, and in her arms she cradled her new and now favorite movie, Tangled in her arms. Hoping that Tifa would watch it with her again, but she knew that her hopes were slim since Tifa has already seen it with her for the past fourteen times.

When it came to movies, favorites to be exact, Marlene always wanted someone to watch them with her so that she could point out her favorite characters and sing along to the songs, or tell them which parts were her favorites and which parts weren't.

"Um...Tifa? Do you want to watch a movie with me?" Marlene asked her softly.

Tifa smiled, her eyes still on her Kindle, "Does this movie happen to be Tangled?"

"Yes..." She replied sheepishly.

Tifa giggled. "What is this...your fourteenth time watching it?"

"Fifteenth." Marlene corrected, her voice rasing with excitement. She was hoping that Tifa would watch it with her again.

"You really love that movie, huh?"

"Yes! So will you watch it with me!? Please?"

Tifa sighed and looked up from her Kindle, she sighed again once she met Marlene's big brown eyes that were pouting.

"Marlene, you know pouting doesn't work with me...only Cloud..."

Cloud, who had just came down the stairs raised a brow at that. Slightly hurt. He never gave into pouts!

"But..." Marlene started but Tifa cut her off.

"And, I was kind enough to watch Tangled with you fourteen times already, am I right?"

Marlene sighed. "Yes, Tifa...sorry..."

Tifa hated being like this, but she wanted Marlene and Denzel to understand the true meaning about being fair.

"I'll watch it with you, Marlene." Cloud said walking into the room.

Marlene turned to him and squealed with excitement. "You will!?"

Cloud shrugged. "Sure, I just spent time with Denzel."

That made Tifa smile, since Cloud was also learning about being fair to make up for his past.

"Yay!" Marlene ran over to the blond-warrior and hugged him tightly around the waist. "Thank you, Cloud!"

Cloud patted her on the head and gave her a small nod. Tifa laughed with him as Marlene dragged Cloud over to the couch before she popped the disc into the DVD player.

Tifa rose from her cozy spot on the couch, grabbing her Kindle and cup of coffee with her.

"Have fun you two." She looked down at Cloud and smiled. "You got your chocobo butt in big trouble!"

Cloud looked at her with a baffled expression. "How so?"

Tifa giggled. "Let's just say that this isn't the first time you'll be seeing this with her!" She bent down to kiss his cheek and Marlene's forehead before heading up the stairs to her and Cloud's room, since the living room was no longer a quiet place for her to read, although she didn't mind since their bed was much more cozier than the couch.

Cloud stretched out his back before sitting back on the couch and propping his feet up to rest on the coffee table. Marlene joined him and made herself a cozy place right in his lap, Cloud smiled slightly. He wasn't much of an affectionate guy, but there were times when he loosened up a bit for his family, he wasn't all that cold.

"So what's this movie about?" Cloud asked Marlene, who had her eyes glued to the screen. "Some princess, I suppose?"

Marlene gasped and turned her head slightly to look at him. "It's not just any princess Cloud! It's Rapunzel! She has magical long-blond hair! Oh! Opps! I spoiled some of it!"

"That's alright." Cloud chuckled. "I'll probably end up falling asleep anyways."

Marlene pointed a finger at him. "You better not!"

Cloud smiled and gently pinched her cheek. "I'm kidding."

Marlene smiled. "Good!"

Cloud raised a brow and had to clench his jaw to keep himself from groaning.

"Seven AM the usual morning line up, start on the floors and sweep till the floors all clean. Polish and wax and do laundry and mop and shine up, sweep again and by then it's like seven fifteen!" The princess started to sing.

Than Marlene jumped in shortly after, "And so I'll read a book! Or maybe two or three, I'll add a few new paintings to my gallery! I'll play guitar and knit, and cook and bake and clean! Just wondering when will my life begin!"

Cloud shook his head. If Zack, Yuffie, and Cid heard of him watching a Disney-Princess movie they will NEVER let him live it through without teasing him.

Well...It's not like I'm enjoying it anyways, Cloud said to himself.

"No, Flynn Can't die! He and Rapunzel haven't kissed yet!" Cloud nearly shouted.

They were at the end of the movie when Flynn has gotten stabbed by Gothel, and he had just cut off Rapunzel hair since it was the only thing keeping Gothel alive.

"How is she suppose to save him now that her magical hair is gone!?" Cloud asked Marlene in angst. He hated to admit it but, he was enjoying the movie!

"Just watch, Cloud!"

Cloud watched anxiously as Rapunzel sang her healing song to Flynn, and how her tear drop healed his wound brining him back to life.

"Did I ever tell you I have a thing for brunettes?" Flynn asked Rapunzel before they shared their first kiss together.

"Yes, about damn time!" Cloud said, shouting this time.

Marlene smiled. "So you liked it?"

Cloud looked around the room to make sure that Tifa or Denzel wasn't around to over hear them, they weren't.

"Between you and me...I did..."

Marlene giggled. "Cloud, you're so silly! Don't you know by now how terrible I am at keeping secrets!?"

Cloud smacked his forehead.

With Zack, Yuffie, and Cid teasing him about watching a Disney-Princess movie and liking it...this meant that it was going to be first grade for Cloud all over again.
