The Flower Girl And Her SOLDIER

"Zack! Time to get up!" Aerith said in a sing-song voice as she shook her sleeping husband, it was five O clock on a Sunday morning and the sun was starting to peek out behind the city ruins of Midgar.

It was the perfect morning for Aerith to garden, with plenty of light and the start of a new day.

Zack mumbled something unclear before rolling over to his side so that his back was facing his wife. Aerith giggled and ruffled his head of perfect black hair. That was a complete mess.

"Zaaaaaccck!" Aerith giggled as she hugged him from behind. "It's time to wake up!"

"Yup...in a minute...just give me five minutes..."

Aerith smiled before hopping out of their bed. She always got up around five to work on her garden and she loved hearing complements on how good it looked, especially from Zack, so she always woke him up for his company.

Being as quick as she can to avoid waking the others, she headed down the stairs still in her pink night gown. She waited patiently for Zack and she sat at the bar with a warm cup of tea.

Five minutes turned to fifteen and still no Zack, Aerith was getting impatient but she knew how to fix it. With a smile she headed over to the kitchen and pulled out the flour and eggs.

Zack woke up to the smell of pancakes and that's all it took for him to get out off bed.

"You made pancakes!" Zack wrapped his arms around her slim waist and bent down to kiss her cheek

"Well that's the only way I could get you out of bed!" Aerith smiled up at him.

"For your pancakes, everything is worth it!" He paused to lick the spoon of raw pancake batter. "And your love."

Aerith smiled as she wiped a spot of batter off the corner of his mouth with a finger.

"Good, now are you ready to garden!?"

Zack smiled and helped himself to a plate of pancakes. "Once I finish these I'm all yours!"
