The Valentine

"Vincent? Heeeyyyy, Vincent! Vincent! Vincent!"

"What is if Yuffie?" Vincent asked, he was 'busy' reading the morning paper.

"Guess what tomorrow is!? Do you KNOW what tomorrow is? Huh!? Do yea!?" Yuffie nearly shouted bouncing up and down besides him on the couch.

"Yuffie, could you please stop your bouncing?" Vincent asked with a sigh.

"BUT YOU DIDN'T ANSWER MY QUESTION!" Yuffie shouted right in his ear.

"Friday." Vincent answered without any emotion.

"NO! Well, yes...but besides that! Besides Friday guess what tomorrow is!?"

Vincent was totally clueless, but he knew if he stopped guessing Yuffie would make him pay for his 'lack of interest'

"A full moon?"

"UGH!" Yuffie smacked him off the head with a decorative pillow in the shape of a heart. "I can't believe you! Well here!" She shoved the heart-shaped pillow in the puzzled mans arms.

"If that pillow doesn't give you a hint than try saying your LAST NAME!"

...And she was off. Vincent sighed, tossing the pillow back on the edge off the couch before getting up to his feet. He was walked over to the calendar on the wall and cursed under his breath when his eyes fell on tomorrow, February fourteenth.

"Yuffie, it's time to wake up." Vincent said opening the door to their bedroom the next morning, since he was always the first one up and their was times when he had to DRAG her out of bed.

"No! Go away! I want to stay in bed all day and eat chocolates!" Yuffie shouted from underneath the covers.

Vincent sat at the edge of their bed, he had the tiniest of a smile on his face.

"Not alone you won't."

"Yuffie tossed the covers and sat up to see Vincent holding a heart-shaped box full of Chocolates and on their night stand was a vase of a dozen red roses.

Her jaw dropped. Her hair was a mess.

"Vincent!" Yuffie gasped, her big brown eyes filling up with tears.

Vincent kissed her head.

"Happy Valentine's Day."
