"Cloud, are you awake? I have to tell you something, but you...have to promise me you won't freak out...okay?" Tifa asked as she tip toed into their bedroom where Cloud was sprawled out on their bed half asleep.
"Hmm? Oh yeah, sure...whatever...come here and lay down with me, Teef."
It was past midnight and Tifa has just finished her shift at the bar. Usually Cloud waits up for her so they can have some time to talk, but since Cloud has been so busy taking the kids to softball, dance, their friends house, along with work, Cloud's been pasted out by seven thirty, Tifa was surprised he was actually up.
"Okay..." Tifa said more to herself as she slowly slid in bed with Cloud, he lazily wrapped his arms around her.
"Alright...well...I'm..." Tifa took a deep breath. "Cloud? I'm pregnant."
"Alright, that's great...just great..."
Wait for it, Tifa thought to herself. She knew how Cloud reacted to things when he was hardly awake.
As if on Que., Clouds eyes snapped open and he sprang into a sitting position causing Tifa to face plant the pillows as he dropped her out from his arms.
"WAIT, WHAT!?"
