Zack NEVER Gets Sick!

"Zack, it's pouring out...I really don't think that you should be out working today! You could catch a cold!" Aerith said to her husband, Zack who was throwing all sorts of tools in a brown bag.

"Angel, I'll be fine." He replied leaning down to give her a kiss. "And I really want your church to be all fixed up when the baby's born." He added bending down almost to his knees to kiss her belly were their unborn child was.

Aerith smiled. "That's so sweet of you, Zack...but the baby won't be born for another five months!"

"Then I better get going!" Zack replied pinching her cheek gently. "I'll be home in a couple of hours!"

Aerith sighed as she watched her husband waltz out the door. Sometimes, he was as stubborn as Cloud.

After a relaxing bubble bath Aerith changed into one of her favorite floral nightgowns and curled up on the sofa with a cup of warm tea in her hands. Zack still hasn't returned yet, and the rain was falling faster. She nearly split her tea all over herself as the front door swung open. It was only Cloud, Tifa, Marlene, and Denzel.

"Hello, everyone." Aerith greeted trying to hide her disappointment.

"Hey, Aerith! I just came back from the doctors today and guess what!?" Tifa cried out rushing over to her. She was soaked from head to toe, and grinning ear to ear.

"Slow down, Tifa." Cloud warned her. "Or you'll slip and fall again."

Aerith giggled. "You fell?"

"Yeah...I was really excited to tell you the news so I rushed out of the car and slipped and fell into a large puddle!" Tifa replied with a giggle as she unbuttoned her rain coat.

"Well, I'm glad you're okay...what's the news?" Aerith asked before taking a sip of her tea.

"Well since my doctor is a genius he says that I'm just as far along as you!" Tifa replied as she threw her wet rain coat at Cloud, that ended up hitting him right in the face, Marlene and Denzel laughed.

"Yeah...sure...I'll take care of it." Cloud muttered.

"Oh! Can you take mine too, Cloud?" Marlene asked handing him her rain coat.

"And mine!?" Denzel asked.

"As long as you don't throw them at me." Cloud replied, winking over at Tifa.

"Thanks, Cloud!" The children said before running up to their room to go play.

Tifa smiled and sat down next to her best friend. "So where's Zack?"

Aerith sighed. "Working on my church."

"In this weather?" Cloud asked raising a brow, still standing in the doorway with three wet rain coats in his arms.

"Yes! I told him not too! He said he wants it to be all fixed and ready for when our baby is born...but that's not for another five months!" Aerith cried.

Tifa rolled her eyes. "Men and their ego..."

"Hey!" Cloud scowled, still standing there totally eavesdropping.

"Don't you have some clothes to wash?" Tifa asked causing Aerith to laugh and for Cloud to roll his eyes but he turned around and headed to the laundry room.

Tifa looked back at Aerith, and could tell she was very worried about Zack.

"I'll tell you what. When Zack get's home, you should give him a lecture he'll never forget!"

"NO LECTURES!" Cloud shouted across the hall from the laundry room.

Aerith's eyes widened. "He can still hear us?"

"YES I CAN!

Tifa rolled her eyes. "Men...Sometimes they're still-"

"-Kids." They finished together, and just at that moment the door swung open with a soaking wet Zack behind it.

"WHOOO man! It's pouring out there!" Zack cried as he slammed the door behind him and dropped his bag full of tools besides him onto the floor.

Tifa frowned at that. "You better pick that up!"

Zack grinned and ran over to Aerith and Tifa and shook his head like a wet dog, they screamed and swatted him away as his soaked hair shot water droplets at them.

"Zack I'm so gla-" Aerith paused to look over at Tifa, who was giving her a 'yell at him!' look.

Aerith looked back at Zack and frowned. "ZACHARY KEVIN FAIR! I'm mad at you!" She shouted, Zack's grin turned into a frown.

"Why? I boarded up an entire wall!"

Aerith's squealed. "You did! Awe! That's...that's VERY wrong of you! You shouldn't be working like that when it's raining and especially when I'm here worrying about you getting sick while I'm pregnant! Yeah!" She then snapped her fingers.

Tifa smacked her forehead with her palm while Zack laughed.

"Aerith, sweetie. I told you not to worry! I'm fine, and besides I never get sick!"

The next morning, everyone was surprised to see that Zack was the last one up.

"Good morning." Tifa greeted as she shoved Cloud aside so she could get to the cabinet with the plates but Cloud just smiled and moved closer to her again, hugging her from behind and kissing down her neck softly.

"Cloud! Stop! You know I'm ticklish there!" Tifa cried out between her wild laughing fit.

"You look funny Uncle Zack!" Marlene said as she pointed at Zack's nose that was red as a cherry.

Aerith shook her head. "You see!" She walked over to him and wagged a finger. "Didn't I tell you, you would get sick working out in the rain!? Hm?"

"CLOUD!" Tifa shouted, nearly dropping the plates as Cloud began tickling her sides, another tickle spot of hers. They were totally oblivious to what was going on between Zack and Aerith.

"I'm fi-iiii..." Zack paused, his voice getting breathy before he let out a wet sneeze. Fortunately he covered his nose with his arm.

Aerith placed her hands on her hips and raised her eyebrows at him.

"I'm fin-ACHOOO!" Zack interrupted himself once more with a powerful sneeze. "Okay...fine, I'm sick!"

"Back to bed!" Aerith ordered pointing at the stairs.

"Alright..." Zack replied, slouching his shoulders and sniffling loudly as he made his way back up the stairs.

"Never get's sick..." Aerith replied shaking her head as she walked over to the bathroom to get him some medicine.
