A/N: Sooo I'm playing Crisis Core recently and almost finished with it, and this crazy idea popped in my head for a funny Zack and Cloud one-shot! This is also based on a true event of my best friend GreenpearlAtlanticAries and her friend when they were in NYC! I thank her for giving me permission to turn a one-shot into it and too all of you guys for your support! :D

~Falling Dreams!~

After their helicopter has crashed in Modeoheim, their mission was to investigate the SOLDIER, Genesis. The air in Modeoheim was freezing, the wind howled loudly over Zack's chattering teeth.

"Alright, Everyone. We shall camp here for the night." Tseng, the leader of the Turks announced to Zack, Cloud and the other Infantryman who were on this freezing mission with them.

"N-now? Here? I-If we S-stop n-now will f-freeze!" Zack cried rubbing his bare arms, trying to keep warm.

"H-How c-c-c-can h-he not be s-shivering, s-s-sir?" Cloud asked Zack, he was shaking even harder. He was a lot smaller than Zack.

"C-Cloud! I told you not to call m-me s-sir! J-just call m-me Zack!" Zack replied.

"S-s-s-s-s-s-sorry..." Cloud shivered, his teeth were chattering violently.

"We have no choice!" Tseng replied. "We're expecting a blizzard ahead pretty soon, we must stay put until it's over. Hope you've packed enough to keep warm."

"Damn it." Zack cursed. He turned to look down at Cloud who was shaking like a leaf. "Come on, Cloud. Let's set up camp."

The wind hissed loudly outside from their tent, it shook in the breeze.

With two thick blankets, and sharing body heat with Cloud still wasn't helping.

Zack and Cloud shared a tent and a sleeping bag to keep warm, Tseng and the two other Infantryman did the same thing in the other tent besides theirs.

Zack sighed and closed his eyes once more, trying to fall asleep to the hushing winds and the rustling sounds of their tent as it shook. Cloud was already asleep, surprising Zack. He didn't think it could be possible to sleep through this!

But some how, Zack knew that he had to.

He decided to set his mind on Aerith, her warm smile and her bright Emerald green eyes. Her voice, how gentle it was even when she scolded him to not step all over the flowers. After a few moments of thinking about Aerith, Zack felt himself dozing off.

Cloud, who was half awake, was suddenly startled completely out of unconsciousness from Zack who jumped besides them. Cloud shot up to look down at Zack with wide eyes, his heart pounding.

"Zack? You alright?"

"Whoa!" Zack laughed, rubbing his eyes. "Don't ya just hate those dreams when you feel like you're falling?"

Cloud chuckled. "Yeah. Those are scary."

"Yeah, sorry for scaring you, pal. Goodnight!" Zack said and rolled onto his side to get some sleep.

Cloud smiled, he admired Zack's confidence and positive attitude. He really was a cool guy, and an awesome SOLDIER.

"Goodnight, Zack." Cloud replied as he fell back against their sleeping bag. He looked up at the dark-caved ceiling of their tent, hoping that one day he'd be in SOLDIER and Zack's partner. He hoped he'd be the SOLDIER that he promised Tifa he'd be, and that one day, he'll tell her how much he was in love with her.

A/N:
Okay, so I KNOW they probably didn't camp out in Modeoheim at all in the game and they didn't have tents and blankets, but I couldn't think of a better idea to write this scene! Also, we have to use our imaginations and just think of how long and far they really had to travel! XD Anyways, I hope you all liked it! Please review and stay tuned for many more to come! :D
