~Don't Wake Tifa And Aerith~
"Shh! Cloud! Turn down your phone, you're going to wake up Aerith and Tifa!" Marlene cried out to the Blonde warrior in a harsh whisper, running over to him and tugging frantically on his shirt.
"Let up Marlene, I'm answering it." Cloud reassured the five-year old, as he put the phone to his ear.
Marlene cringed as she heard the loud voice of Barret Wallace.
"Barret, is it really necessary to shout at eight in the morning? Some people are trying to sleep around here." Cloud snarled into the phone, before looking down at Marlene who had a finger to her lips, reminding him to keep his voice down.
They were the only ones in the apartment awake. Everyone else was asleep in their rooms, though it wouldn't be long till Zack would be up and he was the loudest one in the house.
"Yes, yes I'll deliver the damn package next week!" Cloud growled.
Marlene shook her head at his choice of words.
"Of course I didn't forget!" Cloud added, sounding even more aggravated.
Marlene jumped as she heard a series of thudding footsteps above them.
Quickly, but quietly, she raced up the stairs and through the dim hallway to stop and yell at whoever was making that ruckus.
It was either Denzel, or Zack.
Most likely, it was Zack, and once Marlene made her way through the upstairs corridor of their apartment it was indeed Zack. About to shut his bedroom door behind him.
"Hold it!" Marlene called out to him, keeping her voice as soft as she could.
Zack looked down at her, his hair resembled a bird's nest.
Marlene marched over to him quietly.
"Don't even think for a second about slamming that door! Your wife is asleep, and she needs rest and so does your baby! How else do you expect your baby to be healthy!"
Zack grinned and chuckled. "Good morning to you too. Would it make you feel better if you shut the door?"
"Yes!" Marlene replied, and quietly shut the bedroom door, so Aerith's sleep wouldn't be disturbed.
Zack chuckled again. "Better?"
Marlene glared up at him.
"No! You need to start walking lighter, I can hear you downstairs and your hair is a mess!"
Zack blinked. He was so immune to Aerith, Tifa, and even Cloud sometimes, giving him these exact lectures.
But Marlene? A five-year old girl?
Damn, Tifa's got this girl trained.
"Uh...err...sorry?"
Marlene pointed a finger towards the bathroom.
"Go brush it!"
Zack held his hands up in surrender.
"Alright, alright! Calm down, little one!" He said with a chuckle, giving the girl a pat on the head as he quietly walked down the hall to the bathroom.
Marlene scowled.
"You call that quiet!?" She hissed.
Zack shrugged, and closed the door, taking at least a minute to close it to avoid any screeching noises or slamming.
Marlene nodded in approval.
Her bedroom door opened behind her with a high creeeekkk,
Marlene whirled around with a gasp.
"DENZEL! YOU'RE SUPPOSE TO BE QUIET! HOW MANY TIMES DO I NEED TO REMIND EVERYONE IN THIS HOUSE TO BE QUIET!?" Marlene shouted.
Denzel's eyes widened as he stared behind her shoulder.
"Uh...Marlene...?"
"NO! YOU LISTEN! YOU HAVE TO BE RESPECTFUL AND AWARE TO SLEEPING PREGNANT WOMEN!"
"Marlene!"
"DON'T RAISE YOUR VOICE!" Marlene raised her voice.
"Marlene." A gentle voice filled with stern spoke behind her.
Marlene's eyes widened and her cheeks turned bright red as she slowly turned on her heel, looking up at Tifa and Aerith who both shared the same annoyed facial expression with their arms folded across their chests.
"Y-yes, Tifa?"
"What did I tell you, about staying quiet when others are trying to sleep?"
