The answer to that is yes, they are. However SOME one-shots may be of them not alive and some may be modern AU! :D

~Take The Deal!~
"Come on! Take the deal! Take it! Take it! TAKE IT!" Zack hollered at the television screen, way to intrigued with some sort of show about deals.
It was a Friday night and the Strife household used the advantage to take it easy and have 'Family-Time'.
Marlene and Denzel were coloring by Zack's feet while eating a meal of animal-shaped chicken figures and mac n' cheese. Tifa and Aerith were giggling about something they were looking at on Zack's laptop, while Cloud was using his laptop for something actually work related.
Marlene looked up from her book to see an old chubby guy on the screen thinking hard about a deal he was being offered.
"Uncle Zack? Haven't you already seen this episode today?"
"Twice." Cloud corrected the girl, with a slight roll of his eyes.
Denzel laughed at Zack's reaction.
"WHHHHAAAAAATTTT!? NOOOOOOO! Dude! That was a GREAT deal!" Zack cried, picking up a chicken nugget that was shaped like a cat and hurled it at the TV in rage.
Cloud glared at him. "Zack, that was a terrible deal."
Zack's jaw dropped. "Was NOT!"
Cloud rolled his eyes again and drifted his focus back to his computer screen, knowing that he'd get nowhere arguing with Zack.
"WHO would dress their babies like themselves?" Tifa asked, peering over Aerith's shoulder to get a better look of the image. Which was a mother wearing the same sundress as her baby daughter.
"Me of course, Tifa! Look how adorable they look!"
"Hmm...I suppose." Tifa replied, still not digging the idea.
Aerith scrolled through the page, Tifa gasped when she caught an image of a mother and her daughter matched in a white tank top, black pants, black suspenders, and a grey knitted hat on their heads.
"Now that's adorable!"
Aerith grinned at her friend. "So...you DO like the idea?"
"No, I just think the outfits cute!"
"Mhm..." Aerith replied, as she continued to scroll down the page. "Hey, Zack? Can I order myself three more outfits and the baby? So we can match!?"
"Yeah...yeah...sure! Whatever!" Zack replied with a wave of his hand, not really listening to what she was saying. His eyes still glued to the TV.
"YAY! Beautiful sundresses you will be mine!"
"Aerith, you don't even know what you're having, what if you have a boy?" Cloud asked as he browsed through an old document.
Aerith waved a hand at him. "Then I'll just buy a bunch of boy clothes and keep the girl clothes for Tifa if she has a girl or wait and see if I have a girl when I have my second baby!"
Tifa laughed. "Aerith honey, if I have a girl, there's no way I'm dressing her in those clothes! She's a baby not a doll!"
"No! She's a baby-doll!"
Cloud chuckled at that.
Aerith smiled. "Then I'll go with plan B! Save up these beautiful dresses for my second child!"
"But what if your second child is another boy?" Denzel asked, forking at his mac n' cheese.
Aerith giggled. "Then Zack and I will keep trying until we're blessed with a baby girl! Right Zack? That's a deal you'll take!"
"Yup! Wait. What!?"
