A Night At Yuffie's

"ALLLLLLLRRRIIIGGGHHHTTTT Vinnie! Remember what Tifa said! We're not allowed to do any adult kissy-kissy stuff around the little ones!" Yuffie warned her boyfriend, Vincent for the zillionth time.

The man rolled his crimson colored eyes.

"Yes, Yuffie. I know. You told me already, and the kids are right here now." The man responded pointing to the kids with a finger.

"The who!?" Yuffie whirled around to see Marlene and Denzel standing behind her with their pillows in their arms and bags on their backs.

Marlene laughed. "You know who we are, Aunt Yuffie!"

The short ninja smiled and threw her arms around the two children.

"OF COURSE I DOO! And tonight, we're going to have a night full of fun and junk food because your guardians are just BORING!"

Vincent rolled his eyes.

Cloud and Tifa were off to Costa Del Sol to spend some time together. It has been a long couple of months for the two of them, between working and raising two children and they were both over due for a vacation. Yuffie and Vincent were kind enough to care for them while Cloud and Tifa were away.

"Cloud and Tifa aren't boring!" The children said together.

Yuffie waved a hand at them. "Whatever you say! Leave all your crap around the house, eat until you puke, stay up as late as you want I DON'T CARE! For once in your lives you two are FREEEEEE!"

The two children looked at Yuffie in disbelief before they looked up at Vincent helplessly.

Vincent rolled his eyes.

"Don't worry, I wont allow any of that to happen." Vincent assured the children before sending a death glare in Yuffie's direction.

However, the spunky ninja was to busy making a mess in the kitchen to notice.

"Hey! I hope you two want homemade pizza! Wanna help!?"

Marlene and Denzel looked at each other, large grins on their faces before they dropped their belongings on the floor and raced each other to the kitchen to help roll out the dough.

Vincent sighed and picked up the children's things and brought them over to the living room where they had the air mattress all set up for them for the next couple of nights that they'll be staying there for.

"HEY VINNIE! WHY DON'T YOU START PLAYING THE PURGE WHILE WE WAIT FOR THE PIZZA!?" Yuffie said, entering the living room with two children covered in flour behind her.

Vincent sighed.

"Yuffie, that is not a movie that children should be watching. Why don't we stick in a Disney movie?"

Yuffie pouted. "NOOOO! I WANT ACTION! I WANT GORE! I WANT GUTS! I WANT VIOLENCE! I WANT IT ALL! NO DISNEY! PLEASSEEE? PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE?" She grabbed onto his shirt and tugged at it making her best puppy face.

Vincent stared down at his girlfriend with a blank expression.

"No."

After a whole hour of arguing about what movie to watch, Yuffie finally surrendered knowing she can't win to a guy who's as blank as a wall. And so they went with a Disney movie just as he suggested.

Marlene and Denzel giggled and awed during the film, while Yuffie pouted through out the entire thing and hogged all the food, and Vincent who would make trips to the kitchen cleaning up their dirty plates and getting them more snacks.

After the film they played a round of Disney Monopoly, and Yuffie complained and pouted when she landed on somebody's lot and had to pay for rent.

Then around nine, Marlene and Denzel were all dressed in their pj's and fast asleep on the air mattress breathing softly. While Vincent was trying to keep Yuffie quiet so that she wouldn't wake them.

Sometimes Vincent felt like Yuffie was more of the child than Denzel and Marlene.

Sometimes he wondered if that was the reason why he's so in love with her.
