~Don't Tell Tifa~
"Damn it! My shoulder is Killing me!" Zack Fair cried as he set foot into the little Rustic home that he shared with his girlfriend, Aerith, and his best friend, Cloud, and his girlfriend, Tifa.
Zack has been in SOLDIER for awhile now working into getting promoted to first class, Cloud is also a part of SOLDIER however is working as an infantryman for Shinra's Electric company. Tifa worked as a tourist for Neibelhiem, where the four of them lived right on the outskirts of. Aerith is trying to run her own flower shop since gardening is her passion.
"I wouldn't say that so loudly if I were you." Cloud said. He was lounging on the couch in the living room after a long day of running around with SOLDIER guarding the electric towers.
"Why not!?" The SOLDIER asked throwing his long and muscular body right on the petite and lean Blondes.
Cloud grunted under Zack from the impact of all his heavy body weight, from muscle of course. Which Cloud envied. He promised his girlfriend a long time ago that he'd be her Knight in Shinning Armour and be there to rescue her whenever she was in a pinch, as cliche as it was it meant Gaia to him. Zack being the great friend that he is, always took whatever spare time that he had to train and prepare Cloud for SOLDIER, if he ever got the chance to get in.
Zack also had a commitment. His dream was to be high class SOLDIER, the SOLDIER that everyone could count on, however he had little patience and a slight attention span. That's why he was given the nickname 'Zack The Puppy.' So in return, Cloud would give him all the advice that he had to help Zack, even though Cloud wasn't the best communicator.
"Zack...what are you doing!?" The blonde asked nearly in a groan.
"Resting!" The SOLDIER responded casually, not caring in the slightest that he was practically squishing his best friend. "Now, why can't I say out loud that my shoulder is killing me?"
"If you wouldn't mind getting off me, I could tell you...It's not easy talking when you're friend is squishing your esophagus!" Cloud wheezed, his hands weakly tapped Zack's arms.
Zack laughed and got off of Cloud, pulling on his hand to help him in a sitting position before he did the same.
"Now! You were saying?"
Cloud took a deep breath. "I was saying...that its not a good idea to go on about how sore you are because if Tifa hears you, she's going to try and work out the muscle."
Zack laughed.
"You make that sound like a bad thing!"
Cloud gave him a serious look. "It IS a bad thing! She has no idea what the HELL shes doing! She thinks that shes this master massage therapist or something!"
"Really?" Zack raised both of his brows. "Well, you have to start somewhere, right?"
"Yes, you do." Cloud agreed. "But when you're a Martial Artist...who can break through a wall with your bare fists, and break a jaw with a warm up kick..."
Zack's eyes widened.
"Shit man, seriously!? I wouldn't piss her off if I were you!" He laughed.
The corners of Cloud's mouth raised slightly, as if he were about to smile.
"Yeah, look. This was the last and final time I'm letting her work out a sore muscle..." He pulled up his sleeve to reveal a black and blue bruise about the size of a dumb apple right in the center of his forearm on his pale skin.
Zack wasn't laughing anymore, he was now screaming on the inside.
"Shit, that looks painful! I'll be sure not to tell Tifa the next time I-"
"Tell Tifa what?" A soft child like voice echoed off the hallway walls.
The two males froze. It was Tifa, she was back home from work.
She appeared in the living room, still dressed in her lovely cowgirl outfit. She pulled off her hat and hung it up on the rack and looked at the two curiously.
"Don't tell me what?" Her ruby eyes fell onto Cloud's bruise and then wondered to Zack's face that was paler than the moon. "Oh! Did you pull something!? I'd be happy to work out the knots for you!" She cracked her knuckles.
"Run, Zack." Cloud nearly shouted.
Zack didn't need to be told twice.
He was out of the house like a bat out of hell, with Tifa not far behind him. He nearly crashed into Aerith who was on her way up the front porch of their little home, carrying a basket full of freshly picked flowers.
"Hey, baby! Sorry! Got to go!" Zack said, gently moving Aerith out from his path.
"Hello, Aerith! Pretty flowers!" Tifa greeted the flower girl on her way out, giving her a slight bow before her eyes narrowed. "ZACK GET BACK HERE!"
Aerith watched the two completely baffled as they ran through the village, like a cat and a dog. She then turned to Cloud who has stepped out on the porch to watch.
She turned to him, a cute smile spreading across her lips.
"Well, it's not every day you see a Cowgirl chasing a second class SOLDIER!"
A/N: I apologize if it stinks, I'm a bit rusty on my writing and I'll be honest. I did not proof read this. I still hope that you all enjoyed, and please stay tuned for more! I promise I'll write one with Red XIII! :D
