Part 2- Exposition

"So, was my explanation satisfactory?" Merlin asked. "I admit I left out a few things, but I didn't want to confuse you too much..."

"Right," Haruhi nodded lightly. "So True Ancestors are vampires derived from a deity called 'Crimson Moon', but Arcueid here's the last of her kind. While Dead Apostles are the more traditional vampires..."

"And Arcueid is basically an 'anti-vampire' vampire?" Ritsuka spoke up.

"I could have told you that," Arc sighed. "Look, I have no issues with humans, okay? But any vampires I come across just die..."

"Well, Sion Eltnam Sokaris isn't exactly a Dead Apostle in the traditional sense," Merlin pointed out. "That being said, it would probably be for the best to keep her away from Miss Arcueid here for the time being."

"...Well, maybe Yuki could install an app on Sion's phone that would start beeping if Arcueid is getting too close, so she'd know to run away," Haruhi pondered.

"So you're not going to go berserk on anyone else here, right?" Ritsuka asked Arc.

"I wasn't going berserk..." the blonde sighed. "But yeah, as long they aren't vampires, they've got nothing to fear, unless they attack me first. Then all bets are off~"

"Well, we have a chamber specially reinforced for servant fights, if you ever need to blow off steam or something," Ritsuka told her.

"Is that so? But my opponent would have to be reeeeally powerful to keep me from slaughtering them right off the bat," Arcueid pointed out.

"Oh, I think I know someone that fits the bill," Haruhi smirked as she thought of a certain lucha libre-loving divine servant. "But for now, let's continue with the tour..."

*Yuki's Room*

"And this is Yuki Nagato and Itsuki Koizumi. We've been friends since high school," Haruhi introduced her fellow SOS Brigade members. "Koizumi-kun is an esper, while Yuki's an alien supercomputer in human form, basically."

"Ah, so this must be the servant that tried to kill Sion," Koizumi nodded. "My fellow espers told me about what happened. I hope this won't become a regular thing with you..."

"I kill vampires. It's what I do," Arcueid said with no hint of remorse. "But if Master insists, I'll leave her alone..." She then turned to Yuki. "And you... I kinda thought something was off about you. What's an alien doing with humans, anyway?"

"I was working undercover as part of an investigation ordered by my superiors," Yuki responded. "However, in time, I came to view Suzumiya-san and others as true companions- nakama- than simply subjects to be studied. It was over a year before Suzumiya-san discovered my true nature, however. Koizumi-san deduced it much sooner."

"Well, that makes sense, if you're an esper," Arcueid nodded. "Speaking of which, what kind of powers do you have, Master? I can tell you're no ordinary human..."

"Uh..." Haruhi ducked her head at being so suddenly put on the spot. "Well, that's... kinda hard to explain. I guess I can say that I was the one that gave Koizumi-kun and the other espers here their powers..."

"Really? But why would you do that?" Arc tilted her head curiously.

"Be careful what you reveal, Suzumiya-san," Yuki cautioned.

"I know, Yuki..." Haruhi took a moment to think. "Well, it was more subconscious than anything... I don't wanna say why right now, though. Maybe later, once I know I can trust you..."

"Oh..." Arcueid looked disappointed. "But, you're not an esper yourself? What are you then?"

"A human with extraordinary powers," Haruhi said carefully. "I think I can also say that my power first manifested in junior high school, but I didn't realize I even had them until over four years later..."

"Really...? But how could you not know you had them?"

"Ah, that was partially due to our efforts," Koizumi spoke up. "Given that Suzumiya-san was quite... immature at the time, we espers realized it was better that she remained ignorant of her abilities until she 'grew up', so to speak."

"And I'm kinda glad you did," Haruhi concurred, frowning. "If I'd known back then, I definitely would've abused my power, to the detriment of everyone around me..."

"Abused your... power...?" Arc put a hand to her head, grimacing. "What... I feel weird..."

"Huh? What's wrong, Arcueid?" Haruhi turned to her in concern.

Yuki's eyes widened slightly. "Suzumiya-san! Get back! Her Spirit Origin is-" She was cut off as a bright light suddenly erupted from the moon princess, knocking everyone on their butts!

"What the hell?!" Haruhi grunted, her eyes squinting as she tried to stare into the light... which soon faded, revealing... "W-what the...?!"

Arceuid's form had changed drastically. Her once short hair was now long enough to almost touch the floor, her clothing having changed to an opulent white off-the-shoulder dress with a blue underskirt, with white gloves that had puffy rims. "...So, this must be the reason I was called into this timeline, as a servant..." She turned to face Haruhi, her face completely stoic. "You... are a threat to the planet... greater than a Dead Apostle or a Demon Lord..."

"Suzumiya-san, run!" Yuki cried. Hearing that coming from Yuki Nagato from all people caused the reality warper to outright teleport away, and none too soon, a sword made of light stabbing into the spot she had just occupied immediately after!

"You will not escape so easily," the transformed Arcueid stated, before teleporting herself!

"Wh, what just happened...?!" Koizumi gasped.

"This was my error. I should have warned her sooner..." Yuki said cryptically.

*Haruhi's Room*

The first thing Haruhi noted was that Kyon wasn't here, which was a small relief. (But why is Arcueid suddenly trying to kill me-) Her train of thought was cut off as the vampire suddenly appeared before her! "Shit-!" She put up a force field just in time to block a lightning bolt from the rogue servant! "What are you doing, Arcueid?!"

"I am not Arcueid," the vampire princess stated. "I have no name. I am what you may deem an Ultimate One." Another gesture, and Haruhi was suddenly encased inside a miniature glacier, blonde then slicing it apart with the sword she summoned earlier- but Haruhi was no longer inside! She then gasped as she was hit from behind, causing her to slam face-first into the wall!

"Knock it off! Don't make me hurt you!" Haruhi warned, only to be forced to block another lightning bolt! She then felt the very air trying to tear her apart, forcing her to teleport away once more!

"You won't escape," the vampire stated... only to realize that she couldn't sense her quarry anymore. "Where did she go...?"

*Back with Yuki and Koizumi...*

"Are you going to tell me what's going on?" Koizumi asked as he and Yuki ran down the hallway.

"...It seems that Suzumiya-san has retreated to closed space," the alien said, her pace slowing slightly. "As for Arcueid, that form is her true self, known as Archetype: Earth. Her existence is akin to that of a god..."

"You mean like Ishtar or Quetzalcoatl?" Koizumi mused.

"Similar, but she is far more powerful," Yuki replied. "Were she not restricted by her Servant container, she would be capable of moving entire continental shelves at a whim, melting the polar ice caps, or throwing the planet off it's rotational axis."

"What?!" Koizumi gasped in disbelief. "A-are you saying... that she's near Suzumiya-san's level?!"

"Yes and no. Her power is still restricted by what is possible in nature," Yuki elaborated. "While Suzumiya's power can do the impossible. And as I said before, Archetype: Earth is further restricted by her Servant container. However, she still poses a grave threat, due in part to Suzumiya-san's own restraint on her power."

"So where is she now?"

"Currently in Suzumiya-san's personal quarters. Fortunately her betrothed is not there at present, though he is currently heading in that direction. We should be able to intercept him before he arrives, though Archetype: Earth will likely dismiss him due to being a human with no special ability..."

"That's not a chance I'm willing to take, especially with Kyon-kun," Koizumi grunted. "Let's hurry..."

"Acknowledged," Yuki assented, the two making a quick turn to the right...
