Internally, Evie was bitching. Why on earth her mother decided to make her wake up at 1am when she herself makes her go to bed at 8pm is beyond her. The Evil Queen had lost it, she decided, though she didn't speak it. Evil knows, she valued her health much more than the smidge of victory she'd feel.

"Get dressed, put on something regal and meet me downstairs in half an hour. Got it?" Her mother demanded, narrowing her perfectly rimmed eyes with distaste.

"Of course, mother, I promise I won't be late." Evie said, keeping her chin up so she didn't offend her mother with a double chin.

The Evil Queen pinned her with her glare for a little bit longer until she nodded, turned on her heel and sauntered out the room. Evie signed and stretched out like a cat, fighting the urge to rub her eyes. She begrudgingly moved her bed covers and let her feet touch the stone slabs that made up her flaw, pulling a face as the burning cold travelled up her legs. Knowing she couldn't take her time, lest she insight her mother's fury, the princess made a beeline for the dilapidated wardrobe, moving the rickety door aside to get to the fabrics. It took a few moments, but she eventually pulled out an outfit that she thought would please her mother, and turned to Kyra and Tynan who were watching her curiously from her bed.

"What do you think" she turned to them, holding the garment up for their inspection. Of course, they didn't speak- she wasn't stupid like snow white expecting animals to talk to her- but taking their silence as agreement she nodded to herself, pleased with her choice.

She went to her vanity and pulled out the chair. It was rickety, but was better than most on the isle. It should be, Queen Ingrid had forced her huntsman, Brad Humbert, to make it for her. Despite his stupid name, the quality was good, which was undoubtedly why he was still breathing. She hummed to herself as she got her homemade makeup supplies and set them in the correct order. She zoned out as she did her base, the familiar motions as soothing to her as a lullaby to an Auradonian. Once completed she focused as she used the coal to line her eyes in a cat-like style, making sure that the look made her eyes pop with ferociousness. She added her grey coloured eyeshadow and added a slight bit of red powder made from crushing a pretty shell she found, and using the charcoal and liquid clay to thicken her lashes. She finished off her look by finishing off her lips with her signature lipstick hued with berry juice, an unnoticeable smirk on her face when she saw her appearance.

The girl bushed out her hair with an old brush she had managed to scrounge and left it out to flow down to her back in soft waves. She added her homemade chain headband, made from an old bicycle chain that had come to the island, and affixed it in her hair, completing her look.

She Hummed to herself as she made her way over to her outfit. She quickly shimmied out of her clothing and began the routine of wrapping a piece of fabric around her chest- her mother always said a man does not want a wife with saggy boobs- before tying it in a tiny knot. She picked up the dress and pulled it over her head, relishing the way the black\blue velvet felt against her skin. She quickly slipped her arms into the long tight sleeves, and moved the sweetheart neckline so it sat right. She pulled the soft semi-floaty skirt down her hips and smiled as it kissed her ankles. She quickly pulled her cropped apple red leather jacket onto her body, placed her numerous thin chain necklaces over her neck and slipped on her shoes, smiling at the familiarity of the block heel and enjoying the way the black and red skulls mixed together on the old fabric.

"Revenna!" her mother called, making her shoulders bunch with tension.

"Come on guys, let's hope this satisfies her," Evie whispered to her two loyal companions. Tynan crowed and flew to her, making her sigh with comfort at the familiar feel of his talons. Kyra slunk off her bed and wrapped her tail around her wrist, making sure to not get close enough to put any fur on her mistress. The big cat hated it when her mistress was in pain.

Giving them both a secret smile and a scratch, Evie made her way out of her room, ignoring the knots that formed in her stomach as she felt like she was descending the stairs to her execution. Depending on her mother's view of her action, she might well be.

"There you are, Ravenna, I was getting impatient," Ingrid snarled, her voice sending chills down her daughters back.

"I apologise mother, I was fixing my makeup," she said, knowing that it was the only excuse her mother would accept.

Her mother narrowed her eyes and slowly looked at her, scrutinizing her for any flaw. Even the Evil Queen had to admit she liked the fit of the long velvet dress, and the red leather made it pop. While she wasn't fond of the jewelry her daughter was forced to wear, the options were limited to her, so she let it go. Once Evie actually proved useful and married a prince then she could wear something more fitting for her status. "Acceptable, now let's go, we have a meeting to attend to."

As soon as she had received the letter and read it, Maleficent began plotting. The uppity council had been oh so helpful in providing a list of all the families children who would be invited to participate in the experiment and has wasted no time in inviting- demanding- that they met with her. It had taken a lot, but eventually they had all arrived at her castle and they had formulated the plan that would get them out of here. They had all agreed to not tell their children until they were all together, not wanting to risk any backstabbing, so they had arranged to meet that night, at 2am. Everyone was there now, Captain Hook and his son, the buffon Gaston and his idiotic son, Ursula and her urchin, Jafar and his thieving child, Jadis and her spawn, Cruella and her mutt, and of course Maleficent and Mallory. Everyone was there except one group.

The pompous, selfish, uppity Evil good for nothing Queen!

"I'm sure she will be here soon, Ingrid does have a flair for the dramatics," Jafar tried to placate the steaming Dark Faery, only to get a sneer for his efforts.

"Jadis, you are her bitch, where is she?" Maleficent thundered, standing up to her full height in hopes to intimidate the other, taller, woman.

"Oh don't get your horns in a twist, Mally. I am here." Ingrid informed, swaying her hips as she entered the room, a malicious grin on her face.

"Come in Revenna darling, a princess does not hover," she called over her shoulder, her voice almost motherly with a deadly undercurrent. Almost like a poisoned apple, sweet on the outside but lethal inside.

"Yes, mother," Evie called, sauntering inside, her head held high and a haughty expression on her face.

Everyone except Jadis, Maleficent and Ursula sat up straighter upon her appearance. Jadis saw them all the time, so was not so impressed with their show of power. Both Ursula and Maleficent were considered queens on the Isle, so any reaction would be used against them. Their children didn't react for similar reasons, although Jana gave Evie a small smile, which she returned just using her eyes. The men in the room immediately sat up straighter upon their entrance. The older gentleman's eyes rested upon Ingrid, before trailing over to linger on Evie. Gaston, while still coveting Belle, had never quite gotten over his desire to have the most beautiful woman as his little woman, and since Belle was out of the question, Evie was the next best thing. Jafar was impressed by the Queen's power and secretly thought that her daughter was nothing to sneeze at.

"Ah Queen Ingrid, pleasure to see you again," Captain Hook charmed, walking over to grasp the aging Evil Queen's hand. She just looked at him with an eyebrow raised but allowed him to kiss her hand, enjoying the attention.

"James, it has only been a few hours, contain yourself," she sighed, as if dealing with schmoozing men was a regular issue for her.

"Ye wound me, canna blame an ole Cap'n for relishing in your beauty?" He replied, buttering the woman up.

"Enough of this, we have important things to discuss," Maleficent snapped, drawing all eyes to her.

"Yes Darlings," Cruella said, drawing out the word darling, "we have some positively wicked news for you all," she said, getting a glare from the Queens as she dared to steal the spotlight.

Evie started to examine her nails, knowing her mother would want her to show as much disrespect as possible to these people. They were below her after all. Though, when she felt two pairs of eyes on her she couldn't help but look up, her hazel eyes clashing with a pair of almost black brown eyes and a pair of vibrant blue ones, both seeming to see into her soul. She stopped examining her nails and looked up at them, exaggeratedly looking from one to the other with a raised eyebrow. The son of Captain Hook gave her a roguish look, complete with a smirk as he eyed her form, his eyes darkened with lust as they got firthe up her body. The other boy, the son of Jafar, gave her a wink and a cheeky grin, and she had to fight the twitch of her lips at their attention.

She heard low growls and looked over to see Uma and Mal glaring. She raised an eyebrow mockingly and smirked when she saw Mal shoot her glare at Jafar's son who tried to give her an apologetic smile and internally chuckled when she saw Uma do the same to the other boy.

Guess they have a soft spot for those boys. I can use that, she thought, her eyes glinting as mischief filled her mind.

"Revenna are you paying attention," her mother snapped, making her look up innocently.

"No mother, there is no point until you speak," she said smoothly, basking in the pride she glimpsed in her mother's eyes.

"Excellent, I have taught you well," Ingrid preened, relishing the glares she got from Ursula, Mal and Cruella along with smirks from Jadis and the other men.

"For evil's sake can we get back to the matter at hand," Maleficent snapped glaring at Ingrid as if she was Aurora herself.

"Of course, Lizard," The Evil Queen taunted, getting a growl from the Dragon shifting Faery. "We all got a letter from the oh so lovely Auradon council, inviting you all to attend their lovely little school,." she carried on, taking a seat in the chair she had forced Gaston to get for her.

"What, you can;t be serious?" Mal exclaimed, rounding on her mother.

"Oh, you poor unfortunate souls, it gets worse," Ursula added, casually crossing her legs. "You will each have a royal guardian who you'll need to live with when you are not at the academy, and you will be their responsibility," Ursula added, smirking at the children's horrified expressions.

"Mother, you can't be serious?" Jana begged looking at her mother with an incredulous expression. "You want me to go play nice with those royal Sons of Adam and Daughters of Eve?" She finished, disgust blooming at the thought.

"It is not my preference, however Queen Ingrid has assured me that this is the best method. Besides little one, if they want a war, it is a war they shall get," the now Duchess Jadis declared, smirking at her daughter with blood lust in her eyes.

"They will have many things you can steal for us, and many, many lamps," Jafar said, his own eyes gleaming with greed.

"Ye get'ta experience the oceans, look atta dark side," Captain Hook said to his son, who still had an unimpressed look firmly on his handsome features.

"How long will we be gone for and what are we hunting?" Mal asked, rounding on her mother with her lips firmly set in a straight line.

"Well my little Mal, you will be hunting for the Fairy Godmother's wand, the Stone of Auradon and the Amulet of Bia, three of the five objects that made this accursed barrier," Maleficent sneered, her temper raising.

"But that's only," Gil started, visibly counting as he muttered the letters "three objects," he said, smiling proudly and making everyone else except his father groan at his stupidity.

"Yes, you oaf, it is. However good luck getting Triton's Trident from him. I heard that his daughter, the new queen doesn't even use it since it won't leave him," she said, rolling her eyes and ignoring Ursula muttering all the ways she would turn him into sushi. "Not to mention Zeus's thunderbolt would be even harder. The three we chose are the most accessible,"

"Okay, since I'm assuming you have already agreed, can you tell us where we'll be staying?" Carlos asked, getting identical wicked grins from the adult's at his question.

"Oh you'll see, angelfish," Ursula crackled, coming down from her murderous high.

The kids all internally gulped at that but didn't say anything else. They all chatted for a little while longer, finding out they will be leaving in a few hours and only just had enough time to go home and pack. Evie immediately started fretting but was silenced by her mother's stony expression. Each child began to make their way to the exit, their parents all agreeing to stay there together to wait as they all mutually didn't trust each other not to add something extra to their child's instructions.

Right as the group were about to exit, a throat cleaning made them turn back.

"Oh one more thing," Ingrid called almost conversationally, before narrowing her eyes threateningly. "Don't let us down."

Yes! They are FINALLY leaving! I'm excited in case you can't tell. There was a little Jayvie, Hevie, Jal and Huma in here, and I'll tell you now, there will be a lot of different relationships shown here but I've got the endgame decided. Just warning that there will be polyamory in this version and while some aspects of the original story will be in here, a lot will differ, especially the ending.

Anyway I hope you enjoyed this chapter, and until next time!
