I would just love to thank and dedicate this chapter to Descendantslover. Your review was so incredibly kind and gave me motivation to update. So thank you so much for your kindness, it meant a lot and I hope this chapter lives up to your expectations!

"Once again, we are waiting on a Grimhilde," Maleficent snarled, her eyes flaring bright green as her temper simmered.

"My Little Poison will be here when she is ready, she needs all her best things packed if she is going to get her prince," Ingrid replied, filing her nails absentmindedly, barely paying attention to her political rival.

"Good luck to her for finding a prince, with your hideous genetics," Maleficent replied, smirking when she noticed Ingrid's jaw tense and her filing stop. "You never did surpass Snow White, did you?" she taunted, glaring wickedly.

"Considering she managed to control an entire kingdom and would have won if it wasn't for the unluckiness of that prince being there, whereas you, a fearsome dragon, lost because of a piece of metal, you don't have much room to talk, Maleficent" Jadis interjected, raising a perfectly sculpted eyebrow at the Dark Fae.

"I wasn't talking to you Jadis, so I suggest you keep your mouth shut." Maleficent snarled, flashing her eyes at the White Witch.

Before anyone could reply, the door was pushed open by the head of a panther, the big cat managing to open it enough for her mistress to come through. Evie smiled at her, placing her bags just outside the doorway. She scratched Kyra behind the ear, making the big cat purr like a little kitten. She took the door from the cat and shut it gently behind her, before sauntering over to her mother, her face expertly blank.

"There you are my little Poisoned Apple, where is Tynan?" The Evil Queen greeted, her voice hardening when she noticed that her daughter's Raven was missing;the bird usually stuck to her like glue as per Ingrid's request.

"He wanted to go for a fly, considering the prisses at Auradon Prep will likely be scared of him," she replied, ignoring the snarky comment Uma made about her being a priss.

"Well now that we are all here, everyone give your child whatever they need to complete the mission," Maleficent demands, pulling Mal over to her bookshelf.

"Now my Nasty Little Girl, here is my first spellbook, the one that my mother gave me when I was 16. It will have everything you need to know to understand and use your faery magic along with some spells," Maleficent explained, handing a leather bound book to her daughter.

Mal didn't know what to say, words escaping her mind as if it was a sieve. She logically knew that her mother didn't have any use for the book anymore but she was aware it had sentimental value to her mother, as it was a relic from the Moors. Knowing her mother hated embarrassing displays of emotion she gave her a small nod, and mouthed the word thanks you, making sure none of the other villains would see. For a moment Maleficent's eyes softened, but went straight back to their usual hardness so fast that Mal thought she had imagined it.

Meanwhile, Jadis had pulled her own daughter away, her long white and tawn skirts flying around her. "Here you go my darling, you will need to make a wand to get the most out of your magic, but this should be helpful," she said, pulling out an elaborate stone dagger that seemed to swallow all light around it.

"Mum… I thought they had it?" Jana asked, her eyes wide with wonder as she cradled the object.

"It was a replica, like I would allow them to have access to my knife." She scoffed, as if the very idea was ridiculous. "It has the power to nullify magic, as long as it was cast using a single object or by a single person," she explained, bitterness lacing her words at that annoying fact.

"I'll look after it mum, promise on the deep magics," Jana said, clutching it to her chest.

"You better," she snapped, before stridig back over to The Evil Queen who had given Evie her mirror.

Uma leaned against the wall, her mothers necklace sitting proudly on her chest. Harry was smirking with a scroll rolled up and placed inside his coat, his sword hidden from view. Gill had a set of throwing knives tucked into his own boots, Jay had a young parrot perched on his shoulder that wasn't there earlier, and Carlos had one of his mother's spotted fur scarves wrapped around his neck.

"They will be here in a few moments, so I suggest you all get down there. Oh and, don't mess up. It'll be on your heads," Maleficent remarked, looking right at Mal when she said that.

"Gil, help Evie with her bags, no one helps damsels in distress like a son of Gaston!" Gaston called, pushing his son to Evie and not even noticing the eye rolls he got at his exclamation.

"Oh, right, sure dad!" Gil said, grinning dopily. "I'll take them down for you Evie," she said happily, albeit unnecessarily.

"Why thank you, Gil. Such a gentleman," Evie cooed, getting an approving nod from her mother. "They are just outside the door," she added, seeing his confused expression at the distinct lack of luggage.

He nodded again, a big grin on his face as he ran out the door. It was fortunate for his superior strength, the Evil Queen's daughter did not pack light. Inside, Carlos awkwardly waved at his mother before darting out of the room, ignoring the ache he felt in his heart at the knowledge he couldn't even say goodbye to Heidi. Jay slipped out after him, grinning at the parrot on his shoulder. He shot a subtle wink at Mal, who fought her smile and stormed out with her usual bravado. Harry gave his father a salute before sauntering out, winking at Uma and Evie on his way out. Uma fought her grin and rolled her eyes at the boyish flirtation, before leaving as well; shooting Evie a deadly look as she passed.

"Goodbye mother, all your brushes are made and in your room," Evie said, trying to ignore the leaden knot forming in her chest. She may loathe her mother for the way she treated her, but she still loved her, and hadn't been away from her for longer than a few hours.

"Thank you my little Evilette." Ingid said, pulling her into a hug and whispering in her ear, her lips covered by her daughter's hair, "I may not have access to my spell books anymore, but I must warn you. Once you leave the barrier you will get a surge of magic, most likely an extremely powerful surge due to your heritage. Find a book in a library and learn to control it, it'll be a powerful ally," the ex Queen pulled away, giving her daughter a pointed look.

"Thank you again, mother, may the shadows guide you and your evil fester," she said the traditional Isle parting, which her mother repeated. "Evil tidings," she repeated, looking at the rest of the villains and giving a small curtsy, which made Jafar and Hook smile at her manners.

"Evil tidings," they all repeated and she smiled dazzlingly, before wiping it off her face at her mothers look.

"Come Kyra, we need to get Tynan," Evie said, stroking the panther on her head. Without another word she strutted to the door, pushed it open with dramatic flare, and let them shut loudly behind her. Dramatic, just like she was raised.

With a quick whistle, Tynan came soaring through the murky air to land on her shoulder. Evil smiled and scratched his beak, cooing to the bird. Evie noticed that Uma was standing as close to Harry as she could considering their parents were undoubtedly watching, with Mal mimicking her with Jay. Both girls glared at her warningly, and she just kept her face impassive, letting her eyes glimmer with mischief.

She strolled over to Gil, placing her hand delicately on his shoulder. "You were such a dear bringing those heavy bags down for me; such a gentleman," she said, batting her eyelashes with a seductive pout on her lips.

She ignored Mal and Uma's scoff and kept her gaze fixated on the son of Gaston. She knew her mother would approve of her doing this; she was just manipulating the boy so she could use him not trying to get into a relationship with the commoner. Not that he, or his dimwitted father, would notice. "No problem Evie, happy to help," he replied, a slight stutter in her voice when he saw how close her lips were.

"I would hate to be a burden, but would you be able to help me put them into our transport, it would mean so much to me," she purred, playing with the strands of hair at the nape of his neck, making chills creep down his spine at the feeling.

"Of- of course Evie," he stammered, swallowing as his mind blanked from her ministrations.

"You are so good to me," she cooed, nuzzling into his chest before stepping back to talk to Jana., throwing a flirty wink over her shoulder for good measure.

Gil just stood there for a few moments before the blood returned to his brain. In a daze, he managed to get back to his friends, with Harry smirking at him and Uma glaring. "What a hussy," she huffed, crossing her arms.

"Gil ye dog," Harry chortled, nudging his friend with his elbow. "Princess 'as ye wrapped 'round 'er pinky finger," he snickered, getting a small smirk from Jay, who was within earshot, at the comment.

"I don't mind," Gil said dreamingly, his eyes affixed to the beautiful bluenette.

"I don't blame ye," Harry replied, smirking. The smirk didn't dim despite the deathly glare he received from his girlfriend.

"What's my name?" she snapped, glaring at him with her arms crossed.

"Oh I know, Uma!" Gil cheered, grinning at them as if he had uncovered the secret to immortality.

Uma and Harry just gave him an incredulous look before Uma sighed and walked off, not having the energy to deal with either of them at the moment. Harry was debating if he should go after her or not, when their transport off the isle arrived. He whistled when he saw the huge black beast that managed to pick up the specks of sunlight that pushed through the clouds come to a stop in front of him.

"Yo," Jay drawled out, a huge grin on his face and the familiar tingle appeared in his hands; urging him to steal. He walked around, pretending to look at the items of the limo with childlike wonder, when really he was picking the shiny bits and pieces that he knew would sell in his dad's shop. He filled his pockets and looked up, seeing his dad in the window. "Dammit I forgot something, be back," he called, sprinting up the stairs to where his father was to give him his haul.

Mal rolled her eyes and began to put her things in the trunk. She placed Jay's in too, before learning against the side to wait for him. Carlos placed his bag in and scootched past her, sliding into one of the seats. Harry placed his and Uma's bags into the trunk. He winked at Evie as he watched her filing her nails while making Gil do the work for her; getting a smirk in return. Jay materialized next to Mal and the two slid into the car, followed by Uma and Harry, leaving Jana to slide in after Gil, the group sitting in a vague u like shape.

Evie strolled to the front and tapped on the glass, making the driver roll down the window and raise an eyebrow at her expectantly. "Hey, I'm sorry to disturb you but I don't think there will be enough room for us all in the back, do you mind if I ride in the front?" she asked, batting her eyelashes.

"There are 8 seats, you'll be fine." he replied internally rolling his eyes at the presumptiveness of the girl.

"It's either I ride in the front, or Kyra does," she said sweetly, moving aside so the Panter could get into his line of sight.

The man visibly whitened and looked at her with wide eyes. "You know what, you can ride in the front," he said, making her smile victoriously.

"I figured you'd say that," she said smugly, before skipping back around to the side of the car.

"Okay Ky, get in girl, oh and no eating, biting or clawing anyone, okay?" she whispered, closing the door behind the cat and ignoring the protests from the other occupants. She hummed as she got in the front, shutting the door after Tynan flew in and landed on her lap.

"Um, drama queen, why is your oversized house cat in here," Uma called, discomfort in her voice.

"Because, I'm not leaving without her and mr…" she trailed off, looking at the driver.

"William Cornez." she supplied and she nodded, before turning back to look at the others despite Tynan puffing up at her movement.

"Mr Cornez didn't want my sweet little Kyra up here, so you guys get her," she said cheerfully, ignoring the bewildered looks all but Jana gave her.

"You are insane," Carlos said, looking at the cat with terror in his eyes.

Kyra snarled, showing her thick incisors at the boy, making him gulp. Evie sighed and gave Carlos an annoyed look. "Please refrain from insulting me until Kyra is beside me, she is very protective." she said before turning to Jana. "Ana, can you please stroke her? It'll calm her," she said, and Jana did as she was instructed, the big cat's muscles relaxing as she knew this girl.

"Now that that is sorted, Mr Cornez, can you please explain what is going on? We were told we were staying with individual families, not together?" Evie asked, turning back around to look at the man.

"Well miss.."

"Grimhilde," she supplied, stroking Tynan's feathers absentmindedly.

"Grimhilde, that is ture, you will e stayin gat different places until school starts but it was a waste of resources for you to be picked up in separate cars, so I will be taking you to the Beudona castle first and you will split up from there," he answered, and she nodded in satisfaction.

Evie was about to ask another question when she took notice of the rapidly encroaching ledge where a bridge should be. "Look!" she screamed, making everyone look up and scream when they saw where she was looking.

"It's a trap!"Carlos yelled, the others screaming. Uma clutched to Harry who hugged her close, his face becoming ashen. Jay pulled Mal into his chest; the girl squeezing her eyes shut as she held him in a death grip. Jana held onto Kyra and buried her face in her fur, partly to hide from the fall and partly to stop the frantic cat from jumping through the hole to get to Evie. Gil was holding Carlos around the other boy's chest and Evie had culled up and buried her face in her bird's feathers as her heart tried to escape her chest.

The chuckling from Mr Cortez made the fear that clutched Evie in a vice loosen, and she hesitantly raised her head. She glanced ahead to see swirls of gold threaded together to make a bridge, wispy strands creating the barrier that encased them snuggly. "Wow," she breathed, before a force hit her with the force of a monster truck.

Evie shrieked, feeling liquid glass sloshing through her veins. Tynan panicked, fluffing up his feathers as he tried desperately to help his mistress. Behind her, Kyra was roaring, trying hard to get to her, leaving deep claw marks in the material of the limo. William had to bring the barrier up to stop her from climbing forward, though it didn't stop her attempts. Evie cried as images flashed through her mind, memories that didn't belong to her. The world suddenly looked so much taller and bigger, before morphing into being small as she gazed down upon it. She felt her heart's strings wrapping around two others, one made of feathers and the other seemed like braided fur. She felt the panic from her animal companions, and could feel their desperation as they fought to get to her and scare off whatever was causing her pain

Behind the divider, Jana felt icy slush slamming through her body, the tell tale sizzle of magic freezing and unfreezing the ice so fast it felt almost like it burned her. Uma felt what felt like thousands of bubbles racing through her body; popping and showering her blood stream with sea water. Mal could feel a deep burning in her blood, could feel it boiling as the heat inside her body made it hiss and send red steam though her. Jay felt strange, like his body was lighter as warm light flowed through his form, and what looked like a galaxy floated behind his eyes.

Carlos could feel a tingling in his chest, right on top of his heart but ignored it, more concerned about the flailing kids around him. Harry frantically tried to still Uma, holding her to his chest and whispering calming words in her ear. Jay clutched Mal's hand like a lifeline, both their bodies jerking as the magic raced inside them. Gil had no idea what to do, just tried to soothe his captain while trying to relax Jana by holding her hand, his eyes flickering between them as he tried to process what in evil was happening.

Eventually, Jay started to still, with Uma not far behind him. Both lay slumped in the seats, their bodies feeling heavy and their muscles ached. Jana managed to relax enough that she passed out, her body still jerking sporadically. Mal kept whimpering and jerking, and curled up into Jay, who exhaustedly wrapped an arm around her despite barely being conscious.

In the front, Evie was still moaning, memories that weren't her own assaulting her mind. Her hearing became more acute and she could smell a thin scent of salt in the air.. "Kyra," she choked out, writhing in her seat, "Tynan," she moaned, digging her fingers into his feathers as he frantically tried to get closer to her.

William panicked, not knowing what to do. He saw that there was a patch of grass on the side of the road not far ahead, so he gunned it. Pulling in, he turned off the car and unlocked the door. "Get the cat out, now!" he hollered, opening the divider just enough so his voice could slip through.

Carlos being one of the few not out of it, did as he instructed, stiffening when the cat brushed his arm. Kyra paid him no mind, just leapt out and began to paw the door to Evie's seat. Gil looked and saw that Jana was still shaking erratically and followed after the cat, some instinct telling him to get her out and lay her on the grass. And despite not using his brain much, due to his dad's abhorrence for anything intellectual, Gil always followed his instincts. Carlos followed behind him, letting Harry have room to carry Uma out.

He managed to get her out of the car and placed her gently near Jana, stroking back some of her sweat stained hair. "Harry, Gil, can you guys help me get Jay out?" Carlos hollered, still looking at the boy whose face was still scrunched up.

"Aye," Harry said, walking over with Gil hot on his heel.

The three boys managed to pull Jay out, disentangling him from Mal in the process. He was heavy, his body covered with corded muscle that had seemed to grow in the space of time it took them to leave. Gil came back for Mal bringing her out and placing her next to Jay. Harry noticed the desperate cat trying to get into where Evie was thrashing about, so he jogged over, making the cat snarl when he got close.

"Don'cha worry kitty cat, ole Harry will get'ye princess out in a sec," he said, smiling charmingly to the chat, that eyds him suspiciously.

At least it ain't snarlin' he thought opening the door, only to find a flustered and irate Raven. "I'm just getting yer princess out, don'cha stress," Harry said to the bird, who after a moment allowed him to reach in and pull the girl out bridle style.

For a moment he just held her, looking at her beautifully sculptured features. He knew he needed to get her to the ground before the cat and bird attacked him, but he wanted to savor this moment. The girl gave him a sense of calm that he hadn't experienced in a while. Hearing a growling feeling wings beat his head, he quickly found a cleanish spot and placed her down, the big cat and bird immediately racing after them. Kyra lay down and tried to maneuver herself under the princess's head, but couldn't. Harry noticed what she was trying to do, and lifted the passed out girl up and placed her head on the cat, making Kyra finally still.

Kyra curled around her, wrapping her tail around her arm as the bird settled on her chest. Evie seemed to settle then, her movements less frenetic. He stepped back and left the three, sure that her pets would protect her. He made his way over to Uma, knowing that she needed him. He got there and sat down, gently placing her head on his lap and stroking her braided hair.

"What's going on with them?" Carlos asked William, his eyes wide with trepidation.

"My best guess is their magic is coming through and since it has been suppressed for so long, it is having a bigger impact than normal," he replied, eyeing all the kids with slight fear.

"Why is Evie reacting so bad? Is she the most powerful or something?" Gil asked, sitting between Uma and Jana.

"I can't be sure but I think that she is bonding with the cat and bird of hers. They are becoming her familiars and it is just another thing her body is trying to get used to." he said, making each of them look confused.

"I can't really explain it but they will all be okay, and when they are conscious again we will need to bring them back into the car." he said, pausing for a second to look at Evie thoughtfully. "Though she should probably be at the back with her cat, I don't think she will want to separate herself from Evie after this,"

"I'll go in the front," Carlos said eagerly, pleading for a reason to escape the disgusting animals.

The man looked at him for a second before nodding, not really caring who will be in the front. Carlos made himself comfortable on the ground while William went back into the car, to let the people back in the city know what was going on. They weren't ecstatic that he deviated from plan, but understood the need. They just wanted him to bring them back as soon as possible. He agreed, before stepping out of the car, right as Uma was awakening.

"I feel like I got impaled by a ship," she said, rubbing her head and looking around blearily.

"Yer okay?" Harry asked, smiling at her as she turned to look at him.

"Im fine, Harry," she said, her eyes softening as she moved between his legs to lean against his chest, his hands wrapping around her stomach automatically.

"I think being stabbed by that prince boy's sword would hurt less than this," Mal moaned, sluggishly sitting up and looking around.

"No kidding, I think my dad had it easy being stuffed into a lamp, at least he didn;t end up with bruises" Jay added, wincing as he sat up and caught sight of the darkening skin on his arms.

"You okay, babe?" he asked Mal, taking note of her pained expression.

"Yea, just feel weird. Kinda jittery," she added, and he nodded in understanding, feeling the same way.

"I feel like I just ripped apart by a lion," Jana moaned, joining everyone in their complaining as she sat up.

"How are you all feeling?" Carlos asked, noticing that they were all sitting up.

"Delightful," Uma drawled sarcastically, rolling her eyes at the idiotic question.

"A better question is what happened and where are we?" Mal asked, taking note of their surroundings.

"I can answer that," William declined, drawing all their attention. "When we crossed the barrier, your blocked magic surged and you got it all at once. From what I've been told, magic usually trickles through and builds as you grow, but you guys got hit with it at once. As for where we are, we are in a clearing because Kyra was going to shred the entire limo to get to Evie otherwise," he said, pointing over at the big cat who had curled around her princess.

She saw them and bared her teeth, and flattened her ears as she saw them all look. Tynan fluffed up and practically glared at them, hopping off her chest to stand in front of her.

"Yea, can see why you did that," Jay said, making everyone nod when they saw the display.

"They've always been protective over her, but this is next level," Jana said, surprised at the way the two were acting.

"William thinks they have bonded with her as a familiar. Since we left the isle they were able to bond or whatever," Carlas explained, getting a nod from William.

"Is that why she is still asleep?" Gil asked, noticing the girl was still passed out.

"Probably, I'm not sure. But now that you are all awake we had better get going," William asiad, biting on his inner cheek.

"Good luck getting Evie in the car," Uma scoffed, rolling her eyes at the display and ignoring the slight acidic feeling of jealousy that welled up.

"Are any of you close with Evie?" William asked, and they all averted their eyes except for Jana.

"I am, and since I have my mother's magic it is likely I have her strength too," she said, standing up and wobbling a little. When she was steady she slowly made her way over, deliberately making noise to attract the animals attention. Kyra saw her and lightly growled, curling her body more around Evie but otherwise not reacting.

"Hey there Kyra, Tynan, I promise I'm not going to hurt Evie, I'm her friend remember," she soothed, reaching out and crouching down. When the big cat just eyed her wearily and the Raven just watched, she pressed on. "I just need to carry her to the car and the three of you can cuddle in there. We aren't separating you, I promise," she soothed, speaking quickly so Kyra didn't react.

"Can I carry her?" she asked, and when Tynan hopped away to give her space, and Kyra unwound herself from Evie, Jana took that as a good sign.

She carefully stood up and walked over, gently placing her hands under the girl. She gently lifted her up, making sure to go slowly and smoothly. Once she was holding her, she made sure one of Evie's hands were dangling, so that Kyra could wrap her tail around it. Tynan flew onto Kyra's shoulder and the four made their way to the limo. Jana gently placed Evie in moving her over so there was a seat next to her by the door free, and quickly buckled her in with deft movements. Kyra leapt into the car in a single elegant bound, before placing her head onto Evie's and letting the girl snuggle into her fur.

With a gentle smile Jana climbed out of the limo and walked back over to the group. "She's all settled," she said, smiling softly.

"I'm so glad the princess is comfortable, I was so worried," Uma said snidely, rolling her eyes.

"Whatever, just make sure you are careful with what you say to or about her, Kyra and Tynan have always been protective over her but especially so now. So unless you want to be bitten, clawed and pecked i'd be careful," Jana said in a cloyingly sweet voice, complete with a sardonic smile.

Uma rolled her eyes and huffed, leaning back into her man's arms.

"Come on babe, we gotta get going," Jay said, standing up and offering Mal a hand.

She sighed and took it gratefully. Her body still felt like there were dying embers woven through it and the last thing she wanted to deal with was princess perfect. Knowing she didn't have a choice she followed after him, inwardly chuckling at the sight of Othello, Jay's new parrot flying out from a bush and landing on his beanie.

Carlos had already claimed the front so Jay slid in, his thighs bumping against Evie making her moan slightly and Tynan squawk at him in warning.

"Sorry bird," Jay said, putting his arms up in a surrendering movement.

Mal rolled her eyes, thinking it was ridiculous that Jay was pandering to a stupid bird. She didn't care if it was bonded to her dramaticness, she just wanted her boyfriend away from her and her stupid animals. It may not have been fair, but neither is life and anyone who expects it to be is stupid.

Jana and Gil slid in next, Jana's eyes firmly locked on Evie. Next came Uma and then Harry, the latter ending up sitting across from Evie, much to Uma's displeasure. She wasn't blind, she knew that Evie was beautiful. Her mother always warned her against the beautiful ones, as it doesn't matter what limits you place on them, such as stealing their voices, they alway seemed to win.

"Everyone ready?" William asked from the seat, getting a chorus of yes's.

With a nod, he turned on the ignition, determined to make it to the castle without any more unexpected pit stops.

That was a marathon, one of the longer chapters I have written at 5000 words. I was planning to have them get to their new royal residence's in this chapter but this happened instead and I am pretty happy with it. Of all relationships here I have to say the one between Evine and her familiars are my faviourite.

A few romances are mentioned here, malely Jal, Huma and Gevie, though Gevie is not really a romance, more like Evie having fun haha. There will be many different relationships shown so if these ones aren't your ship, don't worry it may change.

Until next time!
