Hello! Just fair warning in this chapter there will be allusions to eating disorders, some shaming around sleeping with others and there is sexual content though nothing too extreme.
"Oh man, that was so good." Jay practically moaned, letting out a contented sigh as he pushed the empty tray away from him.
"Right, that was just… just the best food ever!" Gil said, a bright grin stretching over his face.
Samson looked at the two, his lip quirking at their reactions. "Glad you enjoyed it, are you ready to head back?" He asked, his friends having trickled away to go talk to other people as they finished their food.
"Yea, lets just wait for Evie to finish first." Gil replied, making all eyes turn to the bluenette beauty who was still fiddling with her salad more than she was eating it.
Feeling eyes on her, she looked up, her eyes slightly widening at the attention. Mal and Uma rolled their eyes at her dramaticness, though Carlos frowned, nibbling on his lower lip as he watched her reactions.
"I'm not the hungry, so am ready to leave whenever you guys are!" She chirped happily, giving the group a blinding smile.
"Are you sure, Evie?" Carlos whispered to her, his expressive features broadcasting every emotion he tried to hide. "We don't mind waiting."
Evie's smile wavered and she waved him off, her laughter slightly strained. Rolling her eyes playfully she pierced some of her lettuce and shoved it in her mouth, trying to keep her expression from giving away they fact every cell in her body reacted to the invasion. She forced herself to chew and swallow, ignoring the fact it felt like she had swallowed cement. "Are you happy now, dad?" She teased, her voice light and airy.
A few of the others smirked, though Carlos wasn't fooled. He could see the tension in her jaw as she swallowed, see the slight glimmer of water in her eyes. He saw how her hand shook imperceptivity as she picked up the fork. Still, they weren't friends, not really. It wasn't his place to say anything.
Instead, he smirked at her and elbowed her side, getting a joking indignant gasp from her. "If I'm your dad, your mum has a lot of explaining to do about the fact you were born before me." He joked, getting chuckles from the table.
"Plus the fact we look nothing alike," Evie joked back, subtly using the time to push her bowl away.
"Who do you guys all take after, parental wise?" Samson asked curiously, though he blinked when the mood shifted from jovial to tense, like someone has crafted the air around the into a bow string and pulled it back.
"We don't talk about our family." Mal said, her voice sharp enough to cut glass.
"Aye, some things are betta' unsaid." Harry agreed, his usual smirk slipping slightly.
"Right, of course. My apologises I should have been more sensitive." Samson apologised, before quickly changing the subject. "Are you all done with your food?"
A chorus of affirmations greeted him and he nodded, slipping out. Their chairs all squeaked on the linoleum floor as the teenagers slipped out, steady conversation surrounding them. Samson picked up his tray and gave the others a look before walking over to the exit, a table set up to put scraps in and stack plates. The others rolled their eyes but copied him, with only Evie having things to throw out. The group then trickled out the door and into the grand hallway.
"What is everyone planning to do now?" Samson asked the group, his eyes flickering to Evie who smiled coyly.
"Jay, ye an' Mal can 'ave teh room if Uma an' I can 'ave hers." Harry said, wrapping and arm over Uma who looked up at him, her features slightly softening.
"Sounds like a plan man." Jay grinned back, wrapping his own arm around Mal and stooping down to place a kiss on the top of her head.
"I wanted to have a look around the school if anyone wants to join me?" Carlos asked the group, looking at Gil and Evie in particular.
"I'm game man!" Gil grinned happily, his enthusiasm drawing shadows of smiles from the group.
"If its okay with you both, I can come and show you around?" Samson offered, hoping he wasn't intruding.
"Yea man that would be great, thanks!" Gil grinned, getting a nod from Carlos too.
"That would be helpful, yea," Carlos agreed, giving the guy a small smile.
"Awesome, Evie, are you interesting in joining us?" Samson asked her, hope leaking into his voice and earning eye rolls from the other girls and smirks from Jay and Harry.
"I appreciate the invitation, but I promised I'd catch up with Jana tonight, perhaps another time," she said politely, her usual flirtatiousness missing. "But actually, before you go, I was wondering where could I get food for Kyra and Tynan? Jasmine mentioned her kids have their own big cats here?"
"Err, good question, give me a sec." Samson said, darting back into the cafeteria and leaving the Isle kids blinking after him.
"If he didn't have the answer he could have just said so." Uma grumbled, rolling her eyes.
"Give the lad a moment, darlin'," Harry chuckled, smirking down at Uma.
"Jay, can we go already?" Mal grumbled, crossing her arms and huffing, not understanding why they were still there.
"In a minute babe. Hey do you all want to meet up back in Harry's and my room in about... two hours to go over everything?" He asked the group, getting a nod from them all.
"Sounds good to me, we'll just have to leave Samson then come over." Carlos said.
"I'll get Jana then we'll come over." Evie added.
"Good now that's settled, lets go." Uma said, looking up at Harry with an arched brow.
"Aye, my lass, lets go." He said, waving to the group as they turned around and walked off, Uma's laughter lingering on the air like a salt-soaked breeze.
"You guys mind if we head off too?" Jay asked, only to splutter when Mal elbowed his side. "I mean, we're off too." He backtracked, getting sniggers from the guys and a pleased nod from Mal.
"See you all soon." He said, letting Mal drag him away, his complaints lingering even as they vanished.
Just as Gil was about to break the silence, the double doors crashed open and a very happy Samson appeared dragging Aziz and Alia behind him. "I had not idea where to go but these two do!" He proclaimed proudly, pushing the pair forward.
Alia raised her brow at Samson, amused at his energy. The young princess looked coolly at the group, her long black hair contained in a high ponytail. "Aziz here can show you where we get the food, I'm actually on my way to see some friends."
Aziz looked at his sister with a frown but sighed and nodded reluctantly at her expectant look. "Yea, I can do that." He sighed, rolling his eyes at her smirk.
"Thought you'd see things my way, little brother. See you all around." She said coolly, giving Evie a small smile and the boys a nod before sauntering away. "Oh one more thing." She paused, smirking at her brother.
"If you could feed Amirah too, that would be so helpful." She winked, not even bothering to wait for an answer.
Evie watched her go, a small smirk on her face. "I like her, she has style." She said to the group, nodding approvingly.
Aziz just muttered under his breath and rolled his eyes, just wanting to go to his bed and sleep. Still, it could be worse. Plus, he liked his siters tiger Amirah, so it wasn't that much of a hardship.
"Come on Evie, was it?" He checked, continuing when she nodded. "Lets go get the cats and then I can lead the way."
"In that case, we will leave you guys too it. Thanks again Aziz, and hope to see you around, Evie." Samson said, smiling at the girl before he started to walk off.
"Catch you later, Evie," Carlos said, giving Aziz a look.
He may not be close with her, but he wanted to ensure she was safe, especially in this new world. The girl had an uncanny ability to draw men to her, and he wanted to make sure that she wouldn't get in over her head.
Evie caught me looking and gave me a small smile, silently telling me that she would be okay. I gave her a small nod and followed Samson and Gil, trusting that she would have said if she wasn't comfortable.

Mal moaned as Jay slammed her hard against the wall, his hands tugging greedily at her black leather top. Mal arched her back and allowed him to pull it off her, wriggling slightly to make it easier. "God, you are so fucking gorgeous," He muttered, peppering the side of her neck with kisses.
Mal just moaned, threading her fingers through his hair, tilting her neck, allowing him to trail kisses down her collarbone. She felt the coolness of the wood against her heated skin, the sensation making her press herself more firmly against Jay.
"Bed. Now." She moaned as he trailed his hand lightly up her side, making her head spin from the teasing.
Jay moved his head and grinned at her, his eyes softening at the sheer emotion she was displaying. He pressed her up against the wall, their chests heaving. Slowly he rested his forehead against hers, savouring the closeness.
"Your wish is my command," He whispered, his voice deeper and thick with lust.
Mal shivered as she picked her up, wrapping her legs around his frame. She attached her lips to his and fervently worked the vest off him, leaving his full scar littered torso on display.
He placed her on his bed with upmost care, a complete 180 from his usual roughness. Mal shuffled up the bed, allowing him to hover over her body. Her breath lodged in her throat as he stroked her cheek, his eyes sheering her of any refences. Their breath mingled between them as he took his time admiring her, committing the greenness of her eyes to memory. "I love you, Mal." He whispered, making Mal's eyes widen. "I know I am a flirt, and I can't help that, it's who I am, but I love you."
Mal just stared up at him, her mouth slightly ajar. Did she love him? She knew she cared about him and loved the attention. But love? Love was a weakness she had no time for, it left her most sensitive parts open and vulnerable. Had the Auradonian madness already got to him? They had been dating for two years and he had never said anything like this before. Heck, not even her ex-Anthony Tremaine had even alluded to this before, and they were together for a while.
"Well...are you going to say something or just keep staring at my good looks?" Jay joked, though Mal could distinctly hear the waver in his voice.
"I… err… this is a lot, Jay." Mal finally said, her expression reminiscent of a possum caught in one of Cruella's traps. "I mean…love is a weakness and I… err.. I."
Something passed over Jay's face, or maybe his guard finally fell. Either way, it was gone was quickly as it appeared. His expression stoned, his eyes turning into an impenetrable vault. "I understand Mal. It's fine, I shouldn't have said anything."
He rolled off of her, his feet landing loudly on the wood. Quickly, he pulled on his vest, ensuring none of him was exposed. Mal just watched, bewildered as her boyfriend withdrew from her, her upper body clad in only a bra. "Jay… can we talk?"
Jay snorted rolling his eyes before turning to her with a sarcastic smile. Mal flinched, having only seen him use that smile on enemies on the Isle, never her. "There is nothing to talk about Mal, want to watch something? They have so many more channels here that on the Isle." He paused, snorting. "Not that it's a hard bar to reach with only one."
Mal just stayed silent as he walked over to the table, pulling the remote off with more force than needed. "Yea, we can watch something. Whatever you want."
He just raised a brow at that but said nothing. Mal scampered off the bed, tugging her shirt on so she didn't feel so exposed. Jay eventually came back to bed, though he noticeably left space between them. Mal kept side eyeing him throughout the show, trying to figure out a way to make the silence at least somewhat bearable. Still, Jay stared resolutely ahead, and it dawned on Mal for the first time since they got there that despite being free to interact how they want, to be as close to each other as they wanted, they had never been further apart.
And this time, there was no one to blame for it but herself.
Harry and Uma lay beside each other, sated smiles on their faces. The sheet was pulled up over them, with only one of their legs escaping. Uma's hair fanned around her, beads of sweat coalescing on her hairline. Grinning, she turned to Harry, rolling over to snuggle into the crook of his neck.
"I think that was the best we've ever had." She said, sighing in contentment.
"Well lass, I guess the bed 'elped wit' tha'." He replied, his voice breathing.
"I suppose it's the first time we've had an actual bed." She mused, sighing as he wrapped a muscular arm around her.
"Aye lass, an' wha' a difference it makes." He grinned, leaning down to place a kiss on her sweaty forehead. "Yer an animal, darlin'." He teased, earning a smack on his chest.
Oh well, worth it.
"Shut up, idiot." She grumbled, though her voice lacked any actual heat.
"Ye can make me if yes wish, lass." He teased, his voice filled with promise.
Uma shivered in reply, her body reacting. Still, instead she shoved him off the bed, grinning when she heard him yelp.
"There you go, now shut up." She teased, burrowing into the blankets.
"Oh, ye will rue tha' decision, lass." Harry said.
Before Uma could react, he launched himself off the floor like a shark out of the water, wrapping his arms around her and tugging her down. She growled and tried to fight him off, before descending into fits of laughter, giving in. "I hate you, Harry." She muttered, though the effect was ruined by the laughter punctuating her words.
"Aye lass, I kno'. Now for a' important question." He asked, leaning on his elbow so he could look at her. "ready fo' round three?"
End of implied sex
By the time Evie and Jana had arrived to the group, everyone else was already there. Jana gave the boys a small nod before making her way to the two available seats, Evie right behind her.
"Oh good, looks like princess perfect finally decided to grace us with her presence." Uma snarked, smirking when Evie huffed.
"I got chatting with Aziz," was all she said, ignoring the skeptical looks the others gave her.
"Yea, sure, just chatting." Mal said, scoffing at the girls claim.
Evie raised an eyebrow at Mal, slipping her hands under her thighs so the tremor was hidden. "Yes Mal, just chatting. Now, can we get on with the meeting." She said, fixing them with her most regal expression.
"Alright then, so, I thought we should get a plan in place and figure out everyone's roles and abilities." Carlos said, getting nods from the group.
"Could be helpful, since we have three artifacts to get." Jay added.
"Okay, so who wants to get which item?" Carlos asked the group, looking around.
"Well, Jane mentioned to me the want is in the museum, I just don't know where that is." Jana said.
"I would use my magic mirror but the magical block on the school prevents it."
"Okay, so since we have 5 magic users, we can split them into groups and go from there." Carlos suggested.
"Yea, but none of us really know how to use our powers." Mal added, rolling her eyes.
"I guess we will need to learn that first and go from there," Jay replied, keeping his eyes on the centre of the room.
"We do have classes for magic so that should help, but until then I guess we should mention our non-magical skills and go from there." Evie said, ignoring the rolls she got from the other two.
"Oh, I'll start! I'm super strong and have a super high pain tolerance—ooh and some healing and yea, it takes a bunch to hurt me!" Gil said happily, grinning at the group.
Mal raised an eyebrow. "How do you have all that if you aren't magical? Pretty sure one of the bimbettes is your mother."
Gil just shrugged. "Dad has some of those traits and passed it to me. His dad had it too so just a family thing."
"How come you didn't get effected by the barrier then?" Carlos asked, and the others nodded, making various sounds of agreement.
"Dunno, maybe its not magical then just a skill."
The others just looked at him sceptically but accepted the answer.
"I'm good with tech, good with trapping, able to use a knife well and am very fast." Carlos added.
"How are you good with tech? Its not like there was an abundance on the Isle." Uma asked, sitting on Harry's bed with him.
"P.H De Vil on the Isle taught me, he's a genius with tech and science."
"he's the dude who married Yzma?" Mal asked, thinking back to Yzla and wondering how her and Maddy were getting on.
"Yup, though I have no idea why." He screwed up his nose, getting chuckles from the rest of the group.
"I guess if you like the skeleton look that Yzma would do it for you." Jay joked, making Harry snigger.
"Ye speakin' fro' 'xperience, lad?"
Jay just snorted, though his eyes were light. "Nope, only other chick I dated on the Isle other that Mal was Gianna Gothel, and that ended terribly." The thief snorted, cringing when he thought of Mother Gothel's scion.
Harry just smirked. "Oh, yer tellin' meh more aboot tha' later."
"Anyway." Mal interrupted, glaring at both boys. "My skills are leadership, I'm good with a knife, lying, good at figuring out weaknesses, art and I'm small and able to blend in."
Jay muttered something that earned him a sour look, though none od the others was able to hear what he muttered.
"My skills is slight of hand, blending in, charming and fighting. Really good at wrestling and hand to hand." Jay said. "Oh and I'm fast, and good at parkour."
"Nice mate, ol' Harry 'er is good at fencing, navigation, unnervin' others and I'm strong."
"You are also good at hand to hand." Uma added.
"Plus you are a handsome boy." Jay added on, making Harry grin.
"Aye, Aye I am."
Uma and the others just rolled their eyes, not impressed. "Okay so I'm a good leader, good at spotting weakness, I'm strong, clever and good at fighting with a sword."
The others nodded, before looking at the two remaining girls. Evie gave Jana a nod and the daughter of the White Witch carried on. "I'm strong, good at acting, good at fighting, tactical and I am knowledgeable on deep magics.." She paused, looking at her friend. "Your turn, E."
Evie smiled, though the light didn't reach her eyes. Her mind was ticking away, trying to figure out something, anything she was good at. "I'm good at getting information out of people and putting them at ease." She finally settled on, making Jana snort.
"She is good at more than just that. She is extremely intelligent, good at figuring out our strengths, good at acting, very flexible and good at fighting even if she doesn't like it."
Evie shot her a glare, making the other girl just raise a brow. "You know it's true."
"So, what, you were just trying to hide your strengths while you learned all of yours?" Mal asked, her arms crossed.
"No, I just… I don't think I have many strengths, okay?" Evie snapped back, turning away from them.
"Oh yea, sure, we will totally buy that the vainest girl in the world has issues with her self-esteem, hat totally checks out." Uma snarked, rolling her eyes.
"Believe what you want, Uma." Evie snapped; her expression glacial. "Now that we have finished that, can we go? I want to go to bed."
"Who's bed?" Uma muttered under her breath, making Mal snigger along with Harry.
Evie flinched back at the remark, though she kept her expression devoid of emotion. Jay noticed her reaction and frowned, his amusement draining.
"Are we done here or not?" Evie asked, her hands shaking under her thighs.
"Well, we didn't slip into groups yet, princess perfect." Uma snarled, leaning into Harry.
"Well, there's no point doing that until we work out where the items are. I think that—"
"Don't hurt yourself now," Mal teased, a vicious smirk crossing her lips.
Evie took a steadying breath, making sure her actions weren't noticed. Jana and Carlos looked at Evie with concern, Jana able to pick out her tells and Carlos because he already thought something was up with her.
"Look, we should find out where the items are first, hone our magic and skills and then split up. Theres no point splitting people into groups until we work out what skills are needed for each heist." Evie said, her tone colder than usual.
"The Princess has a point, I 'reckon we s'ould do it 'er way." Harry said, ignoring the glare from his girlfriend.
"Yea, Evie has a point, we can revaluate later." Carlos interjected, getting a thankful nod from Jana for his interruption.
"Now is that it?" Jana asked, putting extra sass into her words in a bid to distract everyone from Evie's uncharacteristic silence.
"I think that's it. Everyone game to meet up in the cafeteria before class?" Jay asked, looking everywhere except Mal.
A chorus of hums greeted him, and he nodded, satisfied. "Sweet, on that note, everyone get out, this thief needs his beauty sleep." He tacked on, winking at the group.
The other guys snorted and jeered at the boy, with Harry mentioning that he needs more than sleep to fix his face.
"You are just jealous Hook that you could never hold a candle to my handsomeness, even on days where I got not sleep."
Harry gave a good-natured laugh, complete with flipping off Jafar's scion. Before he could reply Uma stood up, cocking her hip, and crossing her arms. "I'm off, you play nice now."
Harry chuckled and kissed her briefly, pulling her into him before reluctantly letting her go. "Sleep well, darlin'," he said, smiling the soft smile he reserved only for her.
"You too," she said, smiling and turning to Mal. "You coming?"
Mal gave her a curt nod before turning to Jay. She didn't say anything, but he allowed her to hug him, though made a point to not kiss her. "Sleep well." He said, letting his gaze brush her before turning away stiffly.
Mal sighed and slipped off, following Uma out the door. The Sea Witch looked at her from the corner of her eye but stayed silent, honestly not caring enough to pry.
The door shut behind the, leaving the group in silence. Jana turned to Evie and nudged her shoulder, making the girl tense and her eyes flick to her, the glassiness receding as she came back to the present. "Oh, did Mal and Uma leave already?" She asked, looking around.
The boys looked at her with various expressions, the most noticeable was the confusion from Gil and the concern from Carlos. Finally, Harry answered, the tension in the room growing the longer the silence festered. "Aye lass, they left 'while ago."
Evie hummed forcing herself to smile and nod, acting like she was completely coherent. "Right, I suppose you all would like to get some rest now so I shall see you tomorrow. Are we meeting before class?"
Everyone looked at her with a slightly bewildered expression. "Yea, at the cafeteria." Carlos said, trying to keep his tone light.
"Okay, well I will take my leave. See you tomorrow boys, Jana." Evie said, standing up and smoothing her skirt.
"E, want me to walk with you?" Jana asked her, bending over to pick up her bag.
"No, no its okay. I need to go and pick up Tynan first. See you tomorrow."
Without another word she slipped out the door, closing the door on the concerned expressions that followed her out.
Hey everyone, I hope you enjoyed this chapter! I know it feels kind of slow, but it'll begin to pick up. Next chapter will be the start of school and the start of magic lessons (so excited!) and al; the magic people will have a chance to shine, not just Mal and Uma. Gil has some innate skills that makes him stronger than others and has a slight healing factor, but its not the same as magic so it didn't affect him when he went out the barrier. More of that will be spoken about as time goes on.
What did you think about the Mal and Jay scene? Poor guy got rejected. Uma and Harry were fun to wrote, though neither of these two are permanent. Alia was fun to write as well, and she will be in the story again.
Now, any guesses on who the other parents are? The only ones we know for sure(ish) is Gil's as his mother is one of the Bimbettes.
