-Just Pretend-
Raven looked out at the stars, arms wrapped around her knees, aware of Beast Boy sitting beside her. The starlight shimmered on her face as the Titan searched the horizon for some answer.
I know you wonder if I feel a thing
Pain or hurt like you do.
You question if I too can love-
And I can.
And I can hate.
You ask if I really care
And I do.
Will you know?
But you'll never be able to tell
'cause this crooked smile's gonna hide it all
The mask's never gonna crumble
'cause I can't risk that.
So I'll hide this feeling
And keep it hidden, a memory to brighten the dark
So smile with me, pretend you don't see
The tear falling from my eye.
