"Meow"

'meow to you too—The fuck? What's that cat doin here?' I blink a little, glancing over the grey cat to look around, faintly recognizing my surroundings. It was night, probably late by the moon's position in the sky but the experimentation site was easily recognizable.'Huh? Did it work?' I try to move my head but immediately find out that I can't.

'Aaaaalright'

Turns out that I can't open my mouth or speak, vocal cords rusty from misuse. I tried the same with my body and came to the same result.

'I CAN'T MOVE'

"meow!" The cat hopped from its spot, trotting towards what I assume was me before my eyes widen at something and freeze.

'Am I tripping or is my skin white now...?'

Before I could further freak out, the cat swiftly scampered in front of the...body I was currently in, yowling softly to my utter confusion—

'Am I Sawney? Oh, Madre Mia! It worked!! Thought I was gon see flashes or something, not live the scene! Wait wait now what do I do? Can't move a muscle since He-She was unable to at the time because it was night. Ugh, all I can do is wait for Annie to show up or something. Good to know that titans are inactive at night because of the lack of sun but it didn't mean they're asleep huh.'

My train of thought was interrupted as sounds of fast footsteps approached the titans' location as if the person tried to be sneaky which they were easily succeeding at because I ain't seeing any guards inside.

'Talk about high security, imma rat them out the moment I get outta here. Where the fuck were they?! No wonder no one saw shit! Nobody's here!'

The sound of footsteps transformed into ODM gas coming toward me/Sawney and...Bean? Before I could do anything- not that I could, it's a memory, a SLASH followed by an inhumane guttural howl and the impact of something squishy on the ground was heard. Rip Bean, you were loved.

'oh well, that's gon alert someone at least?'

The sound now came from my left, or Sawney's? Not being able to move an inch, I felt Annie close in as she went for the double kill only for an angry hiss-The cat!- to resonate from the titan's laps which startled the girl out of her focus, her blades barely making a shallow cut on the titan's nape, not deep enough to kill it.

'Am I tripping or did the cat do the guards' job?'

Speaking of them, shouts of alarms and footsteps coming from the building behind the green baches on my right were heard, the steam from Bean's bodyhigh enough to be seen, and his dying sound must've alerted them. I heard Annie curse before hightailing outta here as fast as she came at full speed, certainly frustrated for being unable to finish the job with the way soldiers swarmed the courtyard with torches which thankfully, allowed me or in this case, Sawney to briefly catch sight of the little blond. She wore a dark cape concealing her head to the hips with her trainee uniform underneath, blond strands flying out of the hood and that was enough for me. How she managed to sneak here in canon and kill both titans was beyond me, but it looks like the reinforcement was indeed a good Idea since it deterred her from attempting to finish Sawney off because they were faster to arrive. Unfortunately for them, Annie was long gone, and the 'Oh Shit' looks on their face when they spotted the dead titan to my left were priceless!

'I can't believe a cat saved Sawney. Does that mean it happened in the main story and that Annie killed both titans because there were fewer guards? Bruh that's hilarious!!'

Speaking of the feline, it jumped off its spot, running across the courtyard and zigzagging between startled Garrison's legs, some backed away, colliding with each other as the cat escaped, frightened by the loud soldiers.

Watching the soldiers panic and run around like headless chickens was truthfully hilarious to me until I felt my vision darkening slowly, my surroundings blurring as a feeling of being pulled backward took over me, and found myself floating in some kind of misty void..?

"Buh?" I glance around, glad that I was able to move and apparently talk again while trying to pinpoint this new location.

"Well, this is new. Hello?" My voice echoes in the air, making me frown. "Where am I?" I mutter. Was this some kind of domain? Am I inside sawney's consciousness? Heh, that's two discoveries today. Should've taken experimenting seriously back when I had time for this.

A sigh left my mouth as I stare into nothing, my face scrunching up in confusion. Not that the place felt uncomfortable, heck, I'd fall asleep here without a care in the world but I got a kid and, hehe, a potential husband waiting for me which urge me to go back pronto! Who knows what's happening out there...hope they're not freaking out!

'Now to get out of here...should I send a surge of power and risk destroying this place? Will it harm Sawney? Hm...decisions decisions. Don't want to hurt her but I need to go back asap!'

Exhaling, I went to force my way out of here but stopped when I caught sight of something floating toward me and discovered that I was currently hovering upside down.

'heh?'

As I straighten up, the figure closed on me and I realized with surprise that it was a woman floating my way, her upper body covered by a mist which, unfortunately, prevents me from catching sight of her face. Yet I was able to put two and two together because seriously? I ain't that dumb.

"Sawney...?" I mumble absently, shoulders relaxing as she stops a meter away from me. Her physique was thin, pale skin or what was shown marred with...scars. She wore a plum dress that showed her shoulders and collar bones which ends in the mist below, her feet unseen.

"...hello." Her voice was soft and gentle, the smile behind it made me unconsciously mirror one. She...seems happy about my presence here, yet I couldn't see it because of that damn mist. "...Was I of any use to Mother?"

My cheer dims a little at the title, smile fading from my lips as I sigh "you don't have to refer to me as [Mother], you know? Call me Colith! That title makes me feel old."

She seemed taken aback and ends up stuttering, probably blushing but I couldn't know for sure. "I-is that okay?"

I nod with enthusiasm "Yeah! dunno why y'all automatically refer to me that way! Is it because of my presence or something? Never got to ask the others since they had trouble speaking and I didn't want to strain them..."

"The others...Yes." Her tone soft and mirthful ." It feels...oddly soothing and...warm...that my instincts beckon me to approach you. I don't know why but...Something compels me to aid you in any way possible. It's...strange but I cannot help myself" she ends in a bashful tone, hand rubbing her thin forearm.

I make a non-committal hum at this as I held my chin. "that so? I had my suspicions until now but damn...I don't even know why I'm surprised, the others told me the same thing..." I mumble before looking back at her with a grin, hands on my hips. "I mean it's not a bad thing and I'm glad it had a positive impact on you, so cheer up a little!"

She seemed to brighten a little if I base myself on her body language. "hmm! I must thank you for it. It has been...decades since I felt that way.Thank you!"

I stutter a little at the honest appreciation in her voice, eyes widening as I begin doing erratic gestures with my hands "Eh, n-no need— it's normal! Huh- I mean, oh fu—huh..." I could feel her blink innocently, damn. I cleared my throat off as a blush colored my cheeks. Fucking anime logic, I'm black dammit!. "As I said, no need to thank me, I wasn't even doing it on purpose." I shook my head with an awkward laugh "Anyway, do you want to...get to know each other before I head back? I mean I've been referring to you as 'Sawney' and I doubt that's your real name. And I wanted to know your past...or since when you were a titan..."

She stayed silent and I realized in horror how heartless that was for me to ask! DUMBASS. OF COURSE IT IS. DAMN, FUCKING CURIOSITY—

"FU—forget what I said! It was uncalled for, sorry! You don't have to— " a light chuckle interrupts my growing panic, prompting me to stop from slapping myself. "heh?"

"It's alright, it has been decades since I was able to share anything with anyone" she shook her head, mirth dripping from her tone. "It is truly nice of you to lend me your time. I owe you this after stopping me...I had no power or control over my actions. It's the least I can do after what you've done for me. All these years of wandering with this uncontrolled need to devour my people and I could only watch helplessly as I cut...many lives short..."

Her voice quivers halfway, making my heart sink further as my eyes widen at her words. I had a terrible feeling that pure titans were somehow conscious of their actions but had no control over them. I close my eyes tightly, a wave of anguish clenching my heart as she keeps on and her next words made me feel like crap for opening my maw.

"I wanted to...die. I wanted it to stop...but I couldn't, I could only sit and watch as this body...this grotesque carcass feasted on them with a purpose unknown to me." She swallows the lump in her throat "But your words...made me stop...so I'm eternally grateful and will answer any question you have for me, no matter what."

I kept silent, eyes downcast as I reevaluated my next course of action.

'Was this the reason why every titan I encountered at Trost were so relieved that I killed them? that death was their only way to salvation? Eh Allah...this is so—'

"Mo—Colith are you alright...?" Sawney asks worriedly, stopping my train of thought as she took a few steps toward me before halting.

"Y-yeah, sorry, just lost in thoughts, no worries." My lips quirk upward in a strained smile. "are you sure it's okay with you though? You don't have to if it ends up stirring painful memories..."

Sawney responds hesitantly, clearly aware of my glum mood "hum...Yes, as I said earlier, It doesn't bother me at all."

"I see. Guess they'll have to wait a few more minutes then." I went to sit down but heh, no grounds so I was left floating in a sitting position like a moron which made me snicker, my mood lifted a bit. Sawney mirrors me with a little chuckle, now sitting in front of me. I send her a resigned smile. Despite the possibility of me crying in the next seconds, my curiosity won. I hadn't taken the time to get to know the titans outside, not that I didn't try but just opening their mouth and articulating seemed tough for them, so I let it go. "Alright, the name is Colith tobe, proud momma of three beans, I'm 25, nice to meet you" I reach out for a handshake.

I feel the smile in her voice as she finally introduces herself, grasping my handwith both hands in a soft hold, as the mist gradually shifts to my surprise.

"Pleased and honored to meet you, Colith...my name is..."

3rd POV

.

.

"What the hell is happening?" a nearby garrison soldier mutters. "She's been staring at that thing for the past five minutes! Why are their eyes glowing like this?"

"This is so creepy, I'm getting goosebumps just standing here..."

"You think they're communicating?"

"Don't be stupid, that's impossible! Bet it's a hallucination! Or a trick!"

"A trick? We're all seeing the same thing, what the hell is wrong with you?"

"I'M TIRED—"

"Shhh! Shut your trap! The corporal is glaring at us!"

Soldiers were muttering among themselves in astonishment as they watched the scene from a distance, some questioning Erwin's sanity for allowing this while others just felt weary over the situation. Meanwhile, the 9 scouts and their commander stood closer to the displeasure of four of them.

Hanji felt jittery! She couldn't keep in place and was constantly tapping her elbow as she bit her lip. Was this, like someone said earlier, Colith's way of communicating with titans? It didn't make sense to her! Ilse told her how she encountered and almost died by the hand of a deviant able to speak, she confessed that it had struggled to articulate and seemed to mistake her for someone else. The scientist in her rare moments of sobriety had been skeptical. It wouldn't have been the first time someone tricked her about 'talking titans' but the fact that Ilse had indeed returned alive with no missing limb had puzzled many. How she managed that still remains a mystery to the scientist, though she was delighted about obtaining new data at the time to care like- HOLY CRAP! THEY CAN'T MOVE AT NIGHT!! Ahem, she digresses. So in short, titans have functional vocal cords enabling them to indeed speak but only possible under certain conditions. Or perhaps it was a case unique to this titan in particular? A new type of deviant? GAH! If only she had been able to get her hands on that titan! So frustrating!

(Somewhere in one of wall Maria's many forests, Mavea shuddered.)

The scientist shook herself from her thoughts and turned to the remaining shifter. "Not that I mind waiting but do you have an idea of what's happening here, Eren?"

The teen blinked himself into focus and looked at Hanji with puzzled eyes "excuse me?", he had been worried for Colith's well-being when he saw her freak out a bit before stiffening and stare into that damn titan's eyes.

"Colith, did you know she could do that? Has she ever done this before?"

This seemed to get everyone's attention as they now looked at the teen in expectation.

Eren blinks before frowning. "I...don't know..?" He wasn't even aware that she was like him for as long as he knew her, so whatever that she was doing was out of the question.

"Tcheh! You don't know? Aren't you a titan brat like her? Surely you must have some freaky tricks up your sleeves too!"

"Oluo!" Petra scolds with a frown.

"What? I'm just saying!"

"Hm...this is problematic." Hanji continues, ignoring the two bickering soldiers who closed their mouths the moment Levi stared them down."She said she had a way of getting us clues but didn't elaborate further—"

"So you just jumped on the chance like a dumbass?" Levi raises an unimpressed eyebrow. "Why am I not surprised...?"

Before hanji could bellow dramatically, a strangled gasp caught everyone's attention, their eyes instantly focusing on a stumbling Colith, her body toppling backward, about to meet the ground. However they weren't the only ones to notice because Sawney reached for her in concern, grabbing Colith's waist gently to prevent the fall...only, they mistook the gesture for an attack on the woman which leads to a set of panicked yells.

"COLITH!" Eren cried in fright, on his way to move but Levi beat him to it, gas leaking from his gear as he zeroed on the titan like an eagle on its prey, a fierce snarl on his lips to the shock of the bystanders who were taken aback by his speed and were vocal about it.

"NO LEVI! WAIT DON'T—" Hanji shrieks in panic, alas it was futile for the corporal was dead set on rapidly eliminating the threat for reasons unknown to him as he closed on the titan who barely turned its head to see what was going on with wide puzzled eyes, its hands still holding its new friend. Levi was only inches away from beheading the titan and be done with this shit when steel met gold all of a sudden, his blades barely centimeters away from a darker skin tone that could only belong to one person in the entire walls. His eyes widened.

'When did she—'

Gasps of alarm rang throughout the courtyard when they saw what was going on. Eren's breath caught in his throat as a surge of fear took hold of him, his heart pounding like a drum at the sight in front of him. Hanji held her head in panic, mouth open in a shout while Ilse's hands tightened on her sketchbook in agitation, having previously been tasked to record the events, adding sketches while she's at it. Levi squad was freaking out per usual, Moblit mirroring their panic meanwhile Erwin's jaw tightened, followed by a sharp intake of breath.

As for Levi, his face went from focused to dreadful in a split second. He knew it was too late to stop the sharp blade's momentum as they closed on her neck and—

CLANK!

...

The blades broke. They fucking shattered as everyone dumbly watched one of the pieces of metal fly in a random direction -one embedding itself in the soil- barely missing a garrison soldier's head who released a high-pitched scream as he ducked in time.

"What.the.fuck" someone muttered, vocalizing everyone's thoughts at the moment. Even the commander stood astonished with raised eyebrows. Levi wasn't known as 'Humanity strongest soldier' for naught, his physical power was far beyond anyone in the walls and they all knew it, the sheer power behind this slice would've easily cut into flesh like butter SO HOW THE HELL DID THE BLADES SHATTER ON HER NECK LIKE TWIGS?! They were all brought back to reality by a voice.

"No need to get antsy, Captain, she was just helping me balance myself, right?" Colith says in an uncharacteristically quiet tone as she turned to the titan who had frozen, patting its shoulder in a friendly manner that did not escape a certain Commander's notice.

"H-how are you not dead...?" Someone whispered in disbelief.

"T-t-they shattered...what the fuck—"

"...I think I should slow down the liquor, it's messing with my brain—"

Colith decided not to address the comments, head turning to look down at the frozen corporal whose eyes were fixated on the shortened metal with a dazed look. She stayed silent and went toward the others before halting in front of a fretting Eren who immediately pulled the green cape away to look at her neck, Hanji and the others close behind. Levi just stood there, still startled by the course of events, an uneasy feeling twisting his guts as he thought of what he almost did to the point where he forgot that he stood inches away from a titan. Luckily for him, Sawney's attention remained on the woman as a frown of concern was apparent on her usually smiling titan's face. She hadn't meant to sadden Mo-Colith that way...

"I got a hint." The black woman says to Erwin, interrupting the storm of questions she was receiving from everyone, especially Hanji who went bonkers over the 'CLANK' thing.

"YOU DO?!" Said scientist gasped.

"Yes, but I wish to speak of it somewhere else. Is that possible?" She addresses Erwin.

Before the commander could answer, Oluo sneered. "Now hold it right there, brat. Are we going to ignore the fact that YOU ain't dead?! Don't you think we deserve an explanation?!" He screeched at the end, surprisingly getting nods of agreement from everyone.

Colith looks down at him blankly. " No." Before resuming her walk toward the commander, her sudden closed-off attitude caught Eren off guard.

"Why you li—" Oluo fumed before crying in pain when he bit his tongue after slipping on a rock.

Erwin blinked, seeming to realize that there was more behind her request, and...her strange behavior picked his curiosity, "Of course, come along then." He ordered the soldiers to restrain the titan and keep an eye on it, per Colith's request, before calling for the frozen corporal to follow which he did in silence.

If a new rumor about Colith came out after what just happened, well she didn't give a shit about it.

As they walked, Colith received unsure looks from everybody. Oluo still sour from earlier had a tissue in his mouth as he grumbled while his three comrades looked back and forth between the road and the woman. Hanji was getting antsy, wanting to quickly get answers while Ilse and Moblit followed quietly, one of them confused while the other worried. In the meantime, Eren clasped Colith's hand in concern which caught her attention.

"You alright...?"

The woman hummed, looking down at him. "Why wouldn't I?"

Eren frowned, his lips pressed in a thin line as he squeezed her hand. "...You're acting...weird"

"Hmm, that so?" She didn't elaborate further which increased his concern. What's going on? Also, Levi's prolonged silence didn't help at all...

"We got two issues at hands right now," Colith starts, holding two fingers. "First is that I saw some things."

They were now in an office similar to the one at the trial but less luxurious, provided by the Garrison. Only Erwin, Levi, Colith, Hanji, Eren, and Ilse were present, the others having been ordered to wait outside for obvious reasons, though Levi squad's members (Oluo) were displeased by that fact but had no other choices but to follow the commander's order. Colith made sure to discreetly soundproof the room with a flick of the hand in case someone was too nosy for their own good.

"By 'things' do you mean you found the culprit?" Erwin asks, earning a nod from the woman which left him surprised. Hanji couldn't hold back anymore.

"What did you see?! How did you do it? How can you communicate with titans? Why were you and Sawney's eyes glowing?—"

"I believe one question at the time, Hanji." Erwin voices calmly but the excited woman didn't seem to hear him as she continued to assault Colith with more farfetched questions.

"I simply checked the titan's memories of last night" this stunned them, even Levi's eyes widened, straightening up from his spot next to the door while Ilse dumbly parroted the 'simply' "and discovered that the culprit...was a cadet part of our brigade, the 104th more precisely."

Eren's jaw fell open. "W-what?" A cadet? Someone from their promotion did this?!

Colith nods, rubbing the back of his head before resuming her explanations, not minding their dumbfounded stare "Yeah but I couldn't see who it was exactly because they wore a dark cloth with the trainee uniform underneath, probably stole a gear to remain untraceable if they're not dumb enough, though Istill recommend inspecting the gears to keep up appearances."

"I see, the gear inspection was already planned but on a larger scale. I suppose it makes it easier if we round it up on the cadets. Thank you for your input." Erwin nods toward her, which she mirrors.

"Sure." She knew he was already planning their next move, hopefully, it'll follow canon. Hopefully. Heh, she just wanted to take a nap now.

"Hum, sorry to interrupt but you said beheading was the only way...to kill a shifter" Ilse spoke suddenly, gaining everyone's attention, "A-and Captain Levi's blades broke...how did you do that, not that I wanted you dead, far from it" she laughs nervously "so how??"

They all turned to the woman with questioning looks, Levi especially. He wanted to understand.

She blinks owlishly, lifting her hand from Eren's scalp "Oh this," briefly makes eye contact with Levi before looking down and raising her uniform sleeve, exposing her right arm. "I just did this."

Their shock skyrockets as a crystal-like substance began to appear on her arm out of nowhere until covering it entirely. Levi immediately recognized it, having had a quick glimpse of it earlier.

"It's called [Armor]...or [Crystalization, fitting name but heh, whoever named it clearly lacked creativity." She sighs, "It serves as a protective armor, tough enough to sustain heavy damage so blades won't work as you saw it." This was directed at the raven-haired male who had stepped closer to watch. "Even cannons will have a hard time putting cracks on it, maybe something more powerful could do the job or a blast strong enough to destroy sets of houses. Y'all should start working on new weapons in case you encounter a shifter specializing in defense like the armored titan for instance. Here."

She held her arm for them to touch, Hanji practically jumping on the occasion as she held it with both hands, 'oh' ing and 'ah' ing with gleaming eyes while examining it. Eren and Ilse gawked at it, poking the unknown element with their fingers in awe while Erwin held his chin in wonder as he considered her words seriously. If they were to face the armored titan, which was a possibility, upgrading their artillery might become a necessity. He was aware of Levi's strength and to witness him fail to break through this unknown armor made him realize that she had a point. He'd have to bring the topic to the upcoming meeting.

'Impressive...' His interest in the enigmatic woman increased greatly. How much was she keeping from them..?

"This is truly amazing..." Hanji utters. "Can I have a sample of it? " the scientist looks up with a blush and a wide smile, portraying her excitement.

Ilse frowned "A sample? How would you get it? Blades can't—"

"That's not a problem, here." The crystal cracked, freeing her limb as chunks fell on her lap. "I can control it actually." She reels in their amazed face with a smile. Better show them titans tricks this way than at a life or death situation. Annie's rampage could've been avoided with the necessary intel on shifters. "with enough practice and imagination, control comes easily, and yes Eren, I'll help you awaken it." Or snatch one of those [Armor] bottles she knew Rod Reiss possessed, or ask for a certain someone to do it. Huh, she should check what her clones have been doing when she gets time. Anyhow she grins at him.

The younger shifter's eyes sparkled in eagerness, that would be so cool! Maybe Colith will help him control his titan! That way he won't ever lose control again! What if he really punched Mikasa?! He would've never forgiven himself.

Hanji quickly retrieves the shards on Colith's lap with Ilse's help and puts them in any available pockets of their uniforms. The room's mood had considerably lightened as they acquired new information each. They were all satisfied until Levi spoke his next words.

"Why did you protect the titan?"

Erwin perks up, having almost forgotten this issue. Why indeed...he and the others look at her in interest.

Colith hums as a smile lift her lips. "Thought you would never ask. Well first, you attacked for no reason? Second, she was just helping me out."

"Helping you?! That thing was going to eat you!" Eren sneered, his hatred toward titans showing through gritted teeth.

"Don't be mean Eren."

"Mean?! But It's a titan—"

"Quiet." Levi's eyes narrow on the teen whose mouth shuts with an audible click, frightened by the Ackerman. "There's something you're not telling, isn't there? You've been acting weird ever since you did this, whatever that was with the shitty titan."

"It's Sawney! Not 'shitty titan', shorty!" Hanji's squawk of indignation was truthfully ignored by the man as he walks past her and leans down so their eyes were at the same level, his hand gripping the couch's handle on her right. Eren inching away with a sweatdrop, conflicted between defending her or staying put while Erwin eyes the exchange with a raised brow.

"So now tell me, brat, what else did you see?." His voice was stern as a stare-down began between the two.

"Eh, I don't think you can handle that one, Captain." She says playfully.

He scoffs."Try me."

She smirks, crossing her arms in conceit "careful Captain, might take you up on that offer."

'Holy shit did I really say that?!'

Inside, she was freaking out while maintaining a placid form outside. Regardless, she couldn't stop the grin from surfacing as the gears start turning in his head and watch with growing amusement as his eyes go wide in realization. Eren was so mortified that he reflexively kicked her shin, whisper yelling at her to stop messing with the corporal while Ilse's jaw dropped in shock, having not seen that one coming. Hanji roared in laughter when she processed Colith's words, doubling over after noticing the pink tint on her shorter comrade's ears. A smile threatened to lift the blond's lips. She had become bolder.

Before Levi could lash out at her because, Walls, he was at this to do just that, Erwin claps his hands to get their attention. "Now now, I believe it is best to get back into tracks. As Levi mentioned earlier, it appears that you're trying to avoid this particular subject. Tell me, Colith, what aren't you telling us? Does this have something to do with the second issue?" The three instantly perks up at this. Levi had straightened up and now stood with crossed arms.

"Now that I think about it, you've been referring to Sawney as a female, why is that?" Hanji inquires suddenly, causing everyone to look at her. Glaring for Levi's part.

'Merde.'

She had been trying to delay the subject by redirecting their focus on titan stuff but looks like it won't work anymore. Sure, fucking with the plot as much as possible was the main goal, trust her, she's been doing just that but should she spill the beans (pun intended) about sawney? Scratch that, tell them what titans truly are? What about Eren? How would he react? Should she really tell him? She inwardly sighs. It's too soon for him to begin having an existential crisis and Allah, her heart wouldn't handle it.

After looking at each of them in silence, Colith exhales wearily. The day hadn't even started that she wanted to go back to sleep. "Guess I owe you guys this." She sighs. "Eren honey, look at me."

The teen did so in confusion "..Hu—"

And the instant they made eye contact, hers glowed for a split second, causing the teen to pass out to the shock of everyone in the room.

"What the—" Hanji starts.

"Shhh, I just put him to sleep," Colith says softly as she places the teen's head on her lap, fingersgently brushing through brown strands, showing her affection for the boy.

"Okay. how the hell did you do that." The scientist gawks back and forth between the two shifters.

Colith chuckles, "it only works on shifters I believe." And humans, but they don't need to know that.

"Hm, why remove Eren from the discussion now? Wouldn't it be crucial for him to hear what you're about to tell us? " Erwin points out, glancing at the sleeping teen.

Colith shakes her head. "I...I don't think it's a good idea. Kid's got enough on his plate right now. I don't...want him to lose his motivation so soon after proclaiming it. I'd never forgive myself," she smiles tiredly, caressing his face. "But I'll tell him eventually when I find a solution to the problem so yeah..." She shrugs.

"Sparing your boyfriend some pain I see, how touching." Levi states in a flat tone before frowning in confusion at Hanji and Ilse, "Why are you two idiots giggling? Something funny?" They quickly look away while Colith let out a long-suffering groan.

"He is like, my son, captain. That's some messed assumptions you've got here. Dunno why everyone assume we're dating, kid's got a thing for Mika." She mutters, missing his twitching eye. "Anyway, back to the topic. I want you to listen carefully and know that this must never leave this room. Can I trust you with this?" her eyes shift to Erwin, being the high-ranked person here.

"Tch, you're not the one to make calls here—"

"Hush! She won't tell us if you keep being pissy like that short stack!" Hanji cuts him off by elbowing him in the ribs which left him unphased, though he glared at her, daring her to do it again.

"Why do you wish for this to remain confidential?" Erwin inquires, searching her eyes for any signs of hidden motives.

Colith deadpans "I don't trust that thing you guys call government, they're as reliable as a pedophile in a daycare." This got a snort out of Levi, "Wouldn't surprise me if they try silencing me or some shit, also it would be best for you in case word's out that you know more than you should." She grimaces. "I kind of need y'all alive you see?"

"You seem...awfully aware of how things work here." Erwin's eyes narrow in suspicion. He had...history with the government.

"With all due respect sir, didn't just rest on my a— butt while I was here. I did my research, debating whether or not to help you guys with your cause. I could've turned the head the other way but I didn't feel like letting y'all die out there while those, excuse my language, pompous assholes are in hog heaven while you regularly experience hell and are looked down on for it, so excuse me for disliking your government." She hisses. "Now, will you promise me to keep this to yourselves or not? The readers are getting bored."

"readers?" Ilse dumbly voices but the matter wasn't addressed to her disbelief 'Are they going to dismiss it?!'

They stare at each other for a moment before Erwin concedes to her relief. "Very well."

She beams, her mood doing a 180. "Deal. Guys?"

The two women exchanges a look before nodding, meanwhile Levi rolls his eyes.

"I promise!/I...trust your judgment/tch/zzz..."

"Alright," here goes the plot "I will...no longer kill titans— wait wait hear me out!" She held a hand in a placative manner to stop them from asking questions. Eren's face scrunches up as if disagreeing in his sleep, "let me continue. Through my search for clues, I came across something that could, sort of, turn your lives upsi—"

"Stop fucking beating around the bush and spit it out !" Levi spat, receiving disapproving looks from everyone, even Ilse.

Colith's eye twitches.

'You know what'

"Titans were humans."

The following silence was so heavy that Eren's soft snores easily echoed in the room.

Oh I want to make a QnA! If y'all got question for or about Colith, her past, preference whatever—, you can comment here! She'll gladly respond!

What to add what to add, erm...that's it?
