Columbia looked at her little niece who was about three months old. Her eldest sister had given birth to a beautiful baby girl and Columbia decided to take her niece out into the Emerald Sanctuary where everything is peaceful, with her sis' permission of course. There was a first time for everything and like wise for her, it was her turn to watch over little Royal Oak. That was name her parents gave her, Royal Oak. She hasn't been fused with a ship yet, there was one waiting for her in dry dock. The grass crumbled as Cleveland walked towards them. "Hey sis," Cleveland told her. "Hi," She replied. Cleveland had left earlier to get her boyfriend, Howard. They'd been dating for at least a year and unlike any human man, he didn't leave her when he found out she was pregnant. In fact, he was happy for her. They loved each other that much, from when they met during that storm to now. The Azur Lane had set up an alliance with the Eclipse Foundation of Morgan so their people could interact with each other. Community thrived with the shipgirls and Eclipse Marines living together, everyone was having fun. "How's Royal Oak?" Cleveland asked. "She fell asleep once we got here and has been asleep for quite a while," Columbia told her. Royal Oak had potential for greatness and once her fusion with the EFN Gato was done, she would be as strong as Enterprise if not stronger.

19 years later…

Royal Oak sat under one of the trees of the Emerald Sanctuary, reading a book about Eclipse Marine history. She looked up to see four shipgirls approaching her, having sensed their presence. "Hi," She told them. "Hello, I'm Javelin," One said, "These are my friends." "Laffey" "Unicorn" "Anaynami" "Z23" They introduced themselves to her unlike others who just ignored her. They were being nice to her. "You don't mind that I'm half shipgirl and half marine?" She asked them. "Are you kidding? That makes you even cooler," Javelin told her. "May we sit by you?" Laffey asked. "Sure," Royal Oak told them. They all took a seat by her, she placed the bookmark in the book and closed it. This was the beginning of a good friendship.
