Chapter 1: The Hero of Justice
There was once a boy, who dreamt of becoming a hero. After inheriting the dream, of the man who saved his life.
We see a battlefield where multiple people no matter their age, gender, or alliances all struck down with arrows in their bodies.
The boy decided to venture out into the world saving everyone he could see after he fought in a war between fourteen other people.
Multiple people were shouting, and cursing in anger at a man who had a black bow, that was bigger than him, as they saw the death and destruction behind him.
He met many people on his journey whom he considered friends but left them, as he continued with his dream.
We see the same man now holding two black and white swords as he cut down a man with a rifle, as the man did a roundhouse kick to another man who was going to stab him with a knife. Instantly breaking the man's neck.
He stopped many wars in his journey, and he even made a pact with the world so that he can gain the strength to save many more lives.
We then see him battling a creature of great size as he summoned swords of great magnitude as he then threw them at the creature. He then looked back and saw many people who were there had frightful looks as he scowled at them.
However, even though he saved many lives he was betrayed in the end. By those, he considered his comrades and then sentenced to the gallows.
We see the man stabbing another person in the back, as the person had a shocked look while the man had a cold expression on his face.
But the young man wasn't mad at them, he simply smiled as everyone cursed him because they believed that he orchestrated a war that took so many lives. Then they put a nose on his neck and pulled a lever ending his life forever.
Once again we see the man being stabbed with multiple spears, and yet he still had a cold expression even with his fatal wounds.
But this wasn't the end of the Hero, because the deal that he made with the world was to give up his afterlife so that he could continue on being a Hero.
We see the man then shouting in anger and hate in an open field, as he hit the ground multiple times as he cursed everything including his life.
However, due to his naiveness, the young man did the opposite of being a Hero. You see by accepting that contract he did become a Hero, but in name only, since he learned that to save lives he needed to become the same thing that he wanted to destroy.
The same man sitting on an exposed root of a dead tree, as he was alone in a valley filled with dead bodies. As he had a tired look on his face.
The young man killed, killed, and killed for over a century while protecting humanity from itself most of the time, or when something threatened humanity's future.
We see the man appearing at multiple points in time, killing people, or killing creatures with a stone-like look on his face.
It got to the point when the man started cursing his life, his ideals, and the same dream that he once thought was beautiful. He tried multiple times to end his eternal torment including killing himself with everything that he possessed, and yet he failed at every single chance.
The man was now sitting on a hill that was filled with swords of all shapes and sizes. As he had a tired look while looking down on the ground of his world.
The man started hating everything related to himself, including his own name as he started forgetting everything about his past. Except for two memories which were about the man who saved his life and his smile, and about a woman clad in armor with green eyes. And while he did remember their faces, he does not remember their names since he forgot them. While holding onto a pendant that he forgot who gave it to him.
The man was now looking at a red-colored jewel with a melancholic look, as he thought that the person who gave this to him must have been important to his life.
And then over a millennium of killing the man grew cold, nihilistic, and cynical about everything. But at the same time deep down inside of him he still wants to become a Hero, but due to his contract, he cannot accomplish his desired dream.
We see the man lamenting over his decision of becoming a guardian of the world since he was betrayed by the ideals that he once loved, and cherished. He also thought of the people who left his side due to his own actions, as he silently asked them for forgiveness even though he knew that no one would hear him.
But what if the man had the opportunity, the one single opportunity to return home? The opportunity to return to the home that he once left, but not in the past. No, to once again meet everyone that he left behind when he decided to continue his dream. If he could find that singular opportunity he would take it in a heartbeat. However, the possibility of that ever happening, is in the realm of impossibility, since he was bound forever to serve the world by protecting humanity. That was his thought as he continued doing his work as a guardian.
But what if the impossibility, became a reality?
Hello everyone, I do hope that you all enjoyed this first chapter with the main character actually being Emiya and not Shirou. This is the first time that I wrote like this, so if you think that I should improve on it let me know. Also, this story will be a harem since after all Emiya definitely had women who loved him, but due to his actions, he kept them all away. However, this will be a serious story with the main focus being Emiya and the relationships that he had with everyone that he met in his life, which includes people like Taiga, and Waver. And him learning how to accept his name once again. So expect some serious conversations, with these characters and this Emiya will not be from Stay Night especially not from the UBW route, this is another version of him. Also, this is a remake of an old story that I made on another website called A Second Chance. With that said I do hope that you enjoy this story.
