Monday Night RAW opened with Michael Cole welcoming the fans at home; as we go to the stage and out comes The Miz. Michael Cole is joined by Jim Ross and JBL on commentary as Miz makes his way to the ring. Miz talks about what is going on in the WWE, Team Hell No, and Antonio Cesaro, some of the WWE Divas. Miz brings up Vince McMahon being there and Arnold Schwarzenegger being the Social Media Ambassador. Miz riled the fans and said, "I know that every fan knows that I am John Cena's brother, and right now, my brother is recovery home, and I enjoy spending time with his future wife and my gorgeous niece."
He talks to continue and then states CM Punk is not who he says he is. He has stolen the voice of WWE. He talked about Hell in Cell and said, "Punk knows that my brother can beat him, and he is afraid of my brother, Vincent McMahon, Randy Orton, and myself."
Miz drops the mic and goes to leave Ryback's music hits, and out he comes. Miz exit the ring and walk up the aisle, and he and Ryback exchange a look as they walk past each other on the ramp. Miz continues to the back.
"I love my brother's promo about Punk."
'Me too, Mike spoke the truth about that Punk guy. I am sure my dad is not happy he is the Champion."
"Yes, dad is not happy that Punk is the Champion. The truth is that dad wants me to stay champ, but Stephanie's husband Paul went against the idea."
Cicely sat up, looked at him said, "Who the hell is he, huh. A nobody guy who married my sister because of her last name, not the woman herself."
'I know, baby, you don't have to tell me. But Randy, Mike, Maryse, and Nattie know that everyone in the company knows it, too, including your dad and stepmother."
They turned their attention back to the TV to see Vince appearing on the TitanTron, and told them to dance their way to the back because it was time for his State of RAW address, as RAW goes to commercials. Back from the break, and Vince is in the ring and puts over all of the current WWE Superstars. He highlights some of the more eccentric types.
Vince said, "The most important thing they face in the WWE is action." As Vince continued to talk, CM Punk interrupted him, coming out with Paul Heyman. Punk began to complain to Vince that he had yet to be mentioned in the address. So it is up to PunPunkether whether he will face Cena in the Cell.
Vince said, "You need to clean your ears out because Cena is not wrestling at Hell in a Cell this year."
Punk puts down the fans next, says, "That they don't respect him," and asks Vince if he respects him.
Vince responds, "No. I respect guys like Cena, Orton, Miz, and many other wrestlers in the back. And in all honestly, I am not a CM Punk guy. I am more of a Cena, Orton, Miz, and Vincent guy."
Punk claims he already knew that, but Vince should be a CM Punk guy. Instead, punPunkts himself over as the Best in the world.
Punk continued his tirade and said, "Vince should be kissing his feet and showing him the respect that he deserves."
Vince said, "Respect is earned, not demand."
Punk said, "If he doesn't get the respect he deserves, he'll do what he did last year. And leave with the Title."
Vince asks if PunPunk claims that he is why WWE is successful.
Punk agrees.
Vince said, "It isn't just one individual; the WWE Universe makes the WWE successful."
Vince claims that he listens to the fans, and they are saying that someone needs to shut PunPunk'suth.
Vince said, "That Punk is nowhere near the caliber of great wrestlers like Andre the Giant, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Randy Orton, Miz, Stone Cold, The Undertaker, and The Rock."
Punk buries the people that Vince just put over. Punk called him a senior citizen and said, "That Vince has been slapping him in the face for the years," then slapped him.
Vincent came flying out of the back, slid into the ring, tackled PunPunknd began to unload on him for slapping his father, Vince.
"Vincent McMahon is unloaded on Punk for smack Vince," Michael mentions.
Vincent gets off PunPunkd and drags him to the corner, where he begins to stomp a mudhole in him. Heyman tries to get involved, but Vince stops him by decking him, and Paul Heyman rolls out of the ring as Vincent continues to stomp PunPunk; the fans chant "What" with each stomp.
Punk escaped as Vincent took off his suit jacket and yelled, "come on, you son of a bitch!"
Vince picked up the mic and said, "I should fire you; instead, tonight in this very ring, you CM Punk will face my son Vincent." The fans erupt
Vince said, "And I will be the special guest referee, and WWE Championship will be on the line."
"Oh, my god!" JR. shout
"Wow, Punk might not leave as WWE Champion," JBL said
RAW goes back to commercials. Back from the break and tag action, but in the end, Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara advance in the Tag Team Tournament.
CM Punk and Paul Heyman are in the locker room, and Heyman says, "That this is a must-lose situation."
Punk said, "He'll just beat up Vincent."
Heyman tells Punk Vincent is not like his father. He is a former champion.
"Paul, relax"
Heyman retorts anything happens tonight, and The McMahons will obsess about bringing you down.
RAW goes back to commercials. Back from the break, Cicely and John watched a single match that ended in DQ and more hype for Vincent McMahon vs. WWE Champion CM Punk. The announcers talk about CM Punk's chance of leaving still as WWE Champion, especially with Vince McMahon as the special guest referee.
JR points out that Vincent can outwrestle PunPunk any given night. Vincent is a former WWE Champion too. Punk may regret smack, Vince.
JBL agrees with JR and mentions that Vincent is a former Tag Team Champion, Intercontinental Champion, and US Champion. Vincent has grown up in the WWE and hung out with some of the greatest wrestlers ever. So he will have the advantage over PunPunkI agree with both of you on Vincent. Punk has no clue what he is in for. Vincent is a savvy ring veteran who can wrestle and brawl too."
Backstage, AJ Lee is there when CM Punk walks in. Punk asks if she's given any thought to him beating up Vincent McMahon.
Punk said, "He is going to break Vincent in half."
AJ said, "Punk is too scared to fight Ryback and wonders if he's too scared to fight Vincent too."
Punk said, "He was just giving AJ a chance to save her job, but now anything that happens will be her fault." He walks off. RAW goes back to commercials. Back from the break, Cicely and John watched another single match that saw Antonio Cesaro nail the Neutralizer for the win over Tyson Kidd. Raw goes back to commercials.
Back from the break, and Tag action that saw Kane nails a chokeslam for the win. There is more hype for Vincent, and Punk RAW goes back to commercials. Back from the break and another tag match with good action until Cody hits the Disaster Kick for the win. Rhodes and Sandow advance or the finals.
Vince is backstage watching his son Vincent warming up when Paul Heyman walks in, and Vincent step in front of his dad.
Heyman said, "I am here to apologize for Punk's action."
Vince said, "It's okay, son; I can handle Heyman here."
Heyman said, "He knew nothing about the challenge or the slap. I want to break the peace between Vince and Punk."
Vince looks at him and asks if Heyman knows when he is lying or telling the truth.
Vince said, "Heyman has been poisoning Punk's mind for years."
Heyman said, "He's here for Vince and Vincent's sake, not Punk's sake."
Vincent said, "You need to worry about Punk's wellbeing Heyman."
Heyman begs Vince not to let PunPunk to his son what Brock Lesnar did to Triple H. He walks off. RAW goes back to commercials. RAW returns from the break and the WWE Diva Title match saw good action until Eve locks in a submission hold, and Kaitlyn taps out. A backstage segment happened next before RAW went back to commercials.
RAW returns from the break, and another backstage segment involved Daniel Bryan and Kane began arguing. Punk is backstage warming up, as Heyman is still trying to talk him out of the fight with McMahons. However, Heyman has an idea -Punk delivers a beating to Vincent that he's helpless and useless, that he cannot make another decision for the rest of his life.
Punk said, "He's going to victimize Vincent right in front of his dad and enjoy every second of it." Back to commercials.
RAW returns from the break as Vince McMahon is in the ring as. Vincent McMahon's music hits, and he comes to ovations and makes his way to the ring; CM Punk attacks from behind and beats him down at ringside. Vincent fought back up and unloaded on PunPunkw.
Vincent rolls PunPunkto the ring; Vince signal for the bell, and it sound. Vincent slide in and spear Punk and unloads with the more left hand. Punk manages to get the upper hand, but Vincent fights back up and begins to outwrestled PunPunkd several pin attempts, but PunPunkcks out. Punk comes back and takes control of the match. Punk nails the GTS and covers Vincent. Vince counted one…two… Thre… No, Vincent kicks out, and a few wrestlers kick out PunPunk'snisher.
Punk argued with Vince about his count, and Vince kept his cool. Punk tries to get himself disqualified by attacking Vince but avoids PunPunk'stacks, and Vincent nails him with fallaway Moonsault Slam lands on PunPunknd Vince counts the one, two, and three…. No Punk manages to kick at 2.9.
Everyone in the arena was shocked that PunPunks able to kick out. Next, punk kicks Vincent in the head and hooks him up for Brainbuster, but Vincent counters into a Stunner; fans were out of the seats, and announcers were shocked and screaming {{.
Vincent covers him, and Vince count one… two… three… Then, Vince signaled for the bell as the fans erupted. Vincent is the new WWE Champion, as Lilian Garcia made the announcement.
"Here is your winner and the New WWE Champion, Vincent McMahon!"
Vince helped his son, handed him the WWE Championship, and raised his hand as the fans went wild. Cicely and John were happy that Vincent was the new Champion. Nattie, Kacie, Randy, and Miz come out and celebrate with the new Champing as Punk is in disbelief outside of the ring, as the pyro goes off and RAW goes off the air with the new WWE Champion.
