So they settle into the living room, and then John turns on DVR and starts SmackDown with a video, and then intro followed a shot inside the Phillips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, as the pyro goes off. Then SmackDown begins with the arrival of Randy Orton making his way to the ring. He enters the ring and poses for the WWE Universe on the second rope, and then he grabs a mic.

Orton said, "That Del Rio picked the wrong guy to mess with and that he's going to give him the most brutal beating of his life on Sunday."

Del Rio comes out and has a mic. Del Rio said, "That he's the new apex predator." Orton calls Del Rio a spineless bottomfeeder. The conversation breaks down as Wade Barrett attacks Orton from behind. Barrett escapes the ring before Orton can get his hands on him.
