Alright we shall now see the 7 Pokémon Ash has received from trading. But just a remember only 2 of them will be ready for the Indigo League. Now this will be another training chapter, but made it will hint at something. Also in less than a week Ash caught a Zeraora, Eevee, Scyther, and Dragonite what have I've done.

Irbrenneke: I'm not sure, I have to figure out where to include the OC character. I usually used OC to fill a spot in a tournament. I let think about it for a while.

SidRyuu14: I agreed Swampert is under rated. Can't say anything about it in Go as I stopped playing that a long time ago. But I'll take your word for it. Now as for Ash receiving one, yes but he will get later. I can't give him one at the moment as the trading Pokémon have already been decided. But spots will open up after the Indigo League. What do you mean he didn't have a good Rock till Rockruff, what about Boldore? Oh who am I kidding poor Boldore, I remember them was plans to evolve it. I not going to make any promises to Kleavor, I'll consider it. But Ash will catch a Rock type soon. But what if Brock gets Kleavor instead, I want Brock and Misty to develop more, and a Kleavor could help Brock. He may no longer be a Rock type trainer, but maybe he'll be curious to Scyther branch evolution.

Sethelephant: Alright fairs points. I can understand your reasoning's.

RKF22: I hope this delivers again.

Guest: Dam straight.

Reader: Glad you enjoyed the Dragonite chapter. Sure I was planning that. The Charizard yes, but the Scyther you referring to belong to a poacher if I recall correctly. Maybe he was or is burrow some. I mean he has borrowed some of Ash's Pokémon.

UnderratedLegend: He already has a legendary Zeraora, it you asking for more legendary sure but they would have to wait. Through I do agree with the ones you selected being underrated.

kogaPoisonMaster: Because the poison types that suit Ash typically belonged to someone else. Also Toxel and Toxtricity are part electric type meaning Pikachu would overshadow them. And the anime seems to want Pikachu to be Ash's only electric type. But since this my story that will all change.

A fans return: A few reason why I want to evolve Pikachu. I want to be one of the few authors to evolve Pikachu. Two I prefer Raichu over Pokémon. Third to me Pikachu evolving into Raichu is a symbol of Ash and Pikachu growing up. I know Pikachu didn't want to evolve but maybe seeing his pals over the years of travel may change his mind in this story. Or maybe not. As for the items, I don't use items in my story as their main purpose is for game balancing reasons. As for the Z-crystals I could always make changes, I remember seeing a story with a special Ash-Greninja crystal. So yeah also how come and Alolan Raichu get a Z-crystal and regular Raichu has nothing. Oh yeah in some ways I like that. Also I've had a Raichu on my team in almost every play through.

Haziqsaffai2: I appreciate your reasoning's. Although I don't like g-max Pikachu, I feel the design is lazy, along with a few others. Z-Crystals, I could make one specifically for Raichu but who knows. Glad you enjoyed Dragonite joining the team. And yup you would be correct about Gengar.

Also what should I do about Team Rocket, I thought getting rid of them during the league but they do play some important roles later. So what do you guys think?

Ash retold the day's events over to everyone, who couldn't believe Ash's luck. Not only did he catch a Dragonite, but he also found an island of them. See the photos, the Prof. Oak decided it was best to keep the island a secret in order to protect the Dragonite. Looking over seeing Dragonite trying Brock's Pokémon food, he realized he forgot to scan it. Taking out his Pokédex he looked up the info.

Dragonite, the Dragon Pokémon. Dragonite is said to live in the sea. With its small wings and large body, it can fly faster than the speed of sound. This Dragonite is female, and has the ability Multiscale. Dragonite's moves are Hyper Beam, Dragon Dance, Dragon Claw, Hurricane, Dragon Breath, and Mist.

Ash smiled, he knew Dragonite would be a power house, but this was incredible. Also the sheer amount of moves they can learn will make it hard to decided. Maybe Prof. Oak could make some recommendations.Looking over Dragonite's weaknesses, he noticed three of them were vulnerable to steel moves. The only other weakness could be dealt with dragon and ice moves. He also couldn't help but wonder if the Professor's Dragonite would train his, also his Charizard. Delia sadly inform them, that she was unable to get a hold of the tickets for Primeape's fight. The group told her it would be fine, as they would happily watch it on T.V.

Prof. Oak then informed Ash they had receive several offers on his Tauros, and he asked Ash if her wanted to through the list. Nodding Ash finished his dinner and looked through the list. Right now he was trading 7 at the moment. Once he looked through the options he asked Prof. Oak for some suggestions and information's. Once the selections were made, the trading began. Deciding it would be best to meet them in the morning, Ash turned in for the night, leaving his Pokédex to Prof. Oak for updates.

Once daytime came around, Ash had breakfast before making his way over to Oak's lab excited to meet his know Pokémon, as were Brock and Misty. Ash's Pokémon were gathering around as they were curious to see what their new teammates were. Gather the several Pokéballs, he tossed them into the curious. While he knew what was inside, he didn't know anything about them. With his Pokédex ready, he let the form and call out their names before scanning them.

The first Pokémon was bipedal weasel, with bluish-black fur, three red feather on its tail, and a short one on the head. Then 2nd one stood on two stubby legs, with a round greyish body, along with one red eye in the middle of the head. The 3rd Pokémon was a grey dinosaur, with a blue dome on its head, and four spikes on the back of the head. The 4th Pokémon again stood on two legs, it had a rounded red and black head, and a silvery blade on the top. Its face was grey with yellow eyes, and four steel spikes protruding from its torso. The 5th Pokémon was a bipedal mammalian Pokémon, with primarily light brown body, dark brown arms, and covering its back that went all the way to its head, was a green shell. The 6th Pokémon, was blue with a white underbelly, it had icy blue hide and quills covered in ice. The final Pokémon was small, green reptile-like Pokémon with yellow eyes, and pinks horn.

Sneasel, the Sharp Claw Pokémon. Its paws conceal sharp claws. If attacked, it suddenly extends the claws and startles its enemies. This Sneasel is female, and has the ability Keen Eye. Sneasel's moves are Leer, Scratch, Taunt, and Quick Attack. Sneasel also has the egg move Icicle Crash has not been unlocked yet.

Ash smiled the Dark and Ice type was a good addition. However, it may not be ready to join the league in time. Prof. Oak note several of the offered Pokémon were quite young, and may need more time than what was available. He remembers actual speaking to the trainer, apparently he wanted to trade Sneasel because she was a prankster, and didn't mix well with his style. Still he was sure he could deal with the pranks.

Dusclops, the Beckon Pokémon, and the evolved form of Duskull. Its body is completely hollow, and like a black hole, it can swallow anything. Some say its victims never return. Dusclops is male, and has the ability Pressure. Dusclops's moves are Disable, Fire Punch, Gravity, Ice punch, Shadow Punch, Shadow Sneak, Thunder Punch, Confuse Ray, Night Shade, Payback, Will-O-Wisp, Mean Look, Hex, Curse, Shadow Ball, Future Sight and Haze.

Ash couldn't help but shiver at the dex entrée. He had received Dusclops from a gym leader in the Hoenn region, who caught it after it was causing trouble. Since it was a Ghost type it would be a great addition to the team, especially with all the moves it knows. He could help several of his Pokémon.

Cranidos, the Head Butt Pokémon. Cranidos lived deep in the woods about one hundred million years ago, and its cranium is as hard as steel. The Cranidos is male, and has the ability Mold Breaker. Cranidos's moves are Headbutt, Leer, Focus Energy, and Rock Polish. Its egg moves Curse, and Hammer Arm have not been unlocked yet.

If Ash recalled correctly, this one was trade from a fossil collector, who restored it from a skull fossil. He wanted a Pokémon to help move the fossils, and other stones he would find. This is why Cranidos was quite young and would mostly missed the league. Still the Prof. Oak stated even if didn't battle in the league he could take it with it after the league, and start training it now, while helps improve his other Pokémon.

Pawniard, the Sharp Blade Pokémon. Pawniard's entire body is made of blades which it uses to inflict damage on its opponents. The Pawniard is male and has the ability Defiant. Pawniard moves are Leer, Fury Cutter, Metal Claw, Torment, Assurance, Metal Sound, Slash. Its egg moves Quick Guard, and Psycho Cut have not been unlocked yet.

Pawniard was a great addition, since he had no steel type and the moment. Plus, it was a dark type as well. Though while it was stronger than Cranidos and Sneasel this one may be ready, for the earlier rounds.

Chespin, the Spiny Nut Pokémon. Chespin can flex the soft spikes on its head, making them so stiff and sharp, then can even pierce through stone. This Chespin is male, and has the ability Bulletproof. Chespin's moves are Growl, Vine Whip, and Rollout. Its egg moves Synthesis, and Quick Guard have not been unlocked yet.

According from Prof. Oak Chespin where the starter from the Kalos Region. And since Chespin only had three moves, no doubt it wouldn't be ready for the league. Still he had to admitted he could wait to see what it could do.

Sandslash, the Mouse Pokémon, and the evolved form of Sandshrew, Alola Form. It uses large hooked claws to cut a path through deep snow as it runs. The Sandslash is male, and has the ability Snow Cloak. Sandslash's moves are Blizzard, Fury Swipes, Gyro Ball, Hail, Icicle Crash, Icicle Spear, Iron Defense, Iron Head, Metal Burst, Mist, Rapid Spin, Slash, Swords Dance, Crush Claw, and Night Slash

When he had heard about regional variants he was curious to how different were they. Seeing Sandslash, he was quite impressed, according from the Pokédex, Sandslash migrated to the Mount Lanakila to get away from volcanic erupted. Then over time, Sandslash adapted to the cold environment. Judging by the strength, looked to be ready to compete judging from the list of moves it knows. With one Pokémon left he looked at its information.

Dreepy, the Lingering Pokémon. If this weak Pokémon is by itself, a mere child could defeat it. But if Dreepy has friends to help it train, it can evolve and become much stronger. This Dreepy is male, and has the ability Clear Body. Dreepy's moves are Astonish, Bite, Infestation, and Quick Attack. Dreepy's egg move Dragon Tail has not been unlocked yet.

Dreepy no doubt was not going to make it to the Indigo League. According from the person he received him from, Dreepy were slow growing, and he would have to battle with it often. Still he stated that Dreepy was the pseudo legendary for the region. This meant if Dreepy evolved he could rival Dragonite in power.

Overall it was a good selection Pokémon he acquired, he looked forward to seeing what they can do. They all stared at their new trainer, as if judging him.

"Hi, my name is Ash, I'm your new trainer, and I look forward to working with you." Ash said.

Dreepy flew up to Ash before going into his and poked his head out. Ash laughed as he lifted his hand, and rubbed in-between his horns, causing Dreepy cue in happiness.

The other Pokémon soon followed greeting their trainer, after that Ash introduced them to the rest of his Pokémon. Sneasel seemed to bond with Pawniard, and Krabby. Dusclops got along well with Muk. Cranidos went over to greet Tauros, and Squirtle. Along Sneasel and Krabby, Pawniard also introduce itself to Zeraora. Chespin went to meet his fellow grass starter Bulbasaur and Pikachu. Sandslash went to hang out with its fellow ice type Sneasel, along with Krabby, Scyther and fellow steel type Pawniard. Finally, Dreepy hung around Pikachu, Eevee, Dragonite and Charizard. Seeing his new friends Dragonite several of them in a bear hug. While some of them struggled to get out of the hold after a few moments they all seemed to enjoy getting hugs. As the Pokémon got to know one another the group went inside to prepare their breakfast.

Once the Pokémon were fed he then instructed his team, with the exception of the Trade Pokémon, and Dragonite. He wanted to get the opportunity see their strength by themselves. Seeing them show case their moves, got Ash pumped they all had loads of potential. For today, he decided to work on battling with them today, and tomorrow they would start with move training. Ash once again battle both Brock and Misty. To start they went a pond where Misty started with Goldeen, and Ash started with Dreepy. Since Goldeen knew mostly normal type moves, Ash used Quick Attack to keep distance from Water Gun. Ash tried to use Infestation, but Goldeen dove underwater to avoid it. Eventually Dreepy grew tired after a while, and a well place Water Gun took down Dreepy. After treating Dreepy, Ash praised it for its work. He then made a mental note to work on Dreepy's stamina.

Next Chespin went up against Psyduck, while Chespin showed its determination. It unfortunately caused Psyduck headache, then knocked out Chespin. Chespin was sadden by his loss, but Ash promised to continue to work with his and helped him get stronger. The third match would be Sneasel against Staryu, and it showed an aggressive personality in a fight. Misty used Staryu's speed to avoid the young Pokémon's attacks. After a couple of Water Guns, Sneasel was done. Ash noted to help Sneasel stay calmed, as he noticed she quickly grew frustrated when her attacks missed. Cranidos followed up against Vulpix, after increasing its speed with Rock Polish, Cranidos charged in with Headbutt. Despite its increase speed Cranidos was still too slow, as Vulpix weaved through its attacks. Eventually Vulpix wore Cranidos down, and knocked it out with Fire Spin. Pawniard had both a calm, and fierce battle style. Went it wasn't attacking it kept its eyes on its opponent. When attacking, it would put a lot of aggression in its attacks. Geodude proved its defenses were to strong, tanking every attack. It eventually tired out Pawniard then won with a series of Tackles.

Next is was Sandslash's turn, as he went up against Onix. Ash first used Iron Defense, making sure it could take as many hits as it could. Onix used Dig in order to put Sandslash on the defenses. Narrowly avoiding the attack, Ash the powered Sandslash up with Swords Dance. Brock then told Onix to get its opponent in a Bind, but Sandslash used Blizzard to keep Onix at bay. Ash would push Onix back, by having Sandslash use Icicle Crash, and Icicle Spear. Onix retailed with Rock Throw, however Sandslash managed to avoid several rocks. Ash then called out Hail, causing Sandslash to glow as the weather turned, dark clouds gathered and ice fell down from the sky. With Snow Cloak, Onix was unable to find Sandslash as Sandslash used the opportunity to strike Onix with Iron Head. Eventually Sandslash won the fight, after knocking it out with another Iron Head.

Since he had battled all of his companions Pokémon, Ash decided he would use two of his own for Dusclops and Dragonite. Pikachu stepped up to the Pikachu against Dusclops. Pikachu started off with a Thunderbolt, only for Dusclops to counter with Shadow Ball. Pikachu tried use Iron Tail next only to meet a Shadow Punch. In frustration Pikachu used Quick Attack, but forgot that normal type moves didn't affect ghost types. Ash used the opportunity to have Dusclops use Night Shade. Pikachu was struck hard, but would give in. Pikachu used Dig, as both Ash and Dusclops kept their eyes open, the ground burst open as a doesn't Pikachu appeared. Ash smiled seems his Pokémon were starting to think let him. Ash then had Dusclops counter with Will-O-Wisp. However, when all the Pikachu disappeared, he realized he was tricked. As then the real Pikachu hit an Iron Tail, then Thunderbolt. Smirking, Ash had Dusclops use Confuse Ray. Dusclops's eye glowed as a beam of light appeared. Pikachu then began moving around awkwardly. Using the opportunity, Ash had Dusclops use Ice Punch. The attack froze Pikachu in a block of ice, then Dusclops fired a Shadow Ball taking Pikachu out. Ash ran up, and picked Pikachu up, before running back congratulating Dusclops. Dusclops seem pleased, and Ash thanked Pikachu. Pikachu gave a weak Pika, as Ash treated him.

The last match was Charizard who demanded to be the one to battle Dragonite. The fight started off with Charizard firing a Flamethrower. Dragonite easily avoided the attack and flew around waiting for an opportunity to strike. Charizard tried to get in close with Dragon Claw only for Dragonite to counter with its own Dragon Claw. Not wanting to let its opponent get the upper hand Charizard went for a Fire Spin. As Ash told Dragonite to deflect it with Hurricane. The flames died out, as Charizard struggled against the winds. Using the opportunity to power up with Dragon Dance. Once Charizard regained control, it fired another Flamethrower, as Dragonite countered with Dragon Breath. An explosion took place, as Charizard flew through and attempted to grab Dragonite in a Submission. But Dragonite managed to throw Charizard off, and fired a Hurricane. Charizard avoided the winds this time, and struck Dragonite with Dragon Claw. The fierce battle continued as Charizard battled and on the occasion would try to use one of its egg moves. While he could form some of the attacks, the energy would disappear. Dragonite continued to battle with determination, and the two would land several move blows. The match ended after the two knock each other out with a collision of Flamethrower and Hyper Beam. Ash treated the two of them telling them how proud he was. All of his new Pokémon show great signs, and would quickly get stronger. Still he was hoping they'll do well in the upcoming tournament.

Alright, next will be Primeape's fight against Bruno. We will jump forwards about a week in the story. After that they're will be another chapter of two before the tournament in Viridian City. After that we'll a few chapters for the tournament. Now did you like the Pokémon that were traded. Now only Dusclops and Sandslash will participate, the rest will either fight in the Orange League or Johto.

Now the list of traded Pokémon while planned was difficult to come up with. So here is a list of honorable mention. All the starters Ash didn't catch, Skarmory, Quagsire, Trapinch, Ralts, Lairon, Luxio, Shieldon, Axew, Druddigon, Tynamo, Litwick, Galvantula, Denio, Honedge, Helioptile, Tyrunt, Trevenant, Alolan Ninetales, Palossand, Jangmo-o, Yamper, Impidimp, Cufant, Sandaconda, Grapploct, and many more.
