All right it's time for the semi-final match: Ash vs Damian. After this we will reach the final six on six full battle. Then when should be at the Cerulean Gym for a chapter. After that the Pewter Gym, then we should be at the Indigo Plateau.

After healing his Pokémon, Ash went to the area ready to battle Damian, he made sure to have Charizard on him. Unbeknownst to Ash, a certain Ghost Pokémon, had followed him to the stadium, and was now watching the match.
"It now time for the first match of the semi-final. Over on the green side with have Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town. And on the red field we have Damian of Vermilion City. Both of these have so far only lost two Pokémon during this tournament. Now let's see who will advance into the final." The announcer stated as the crowd cheered.
"This is a three on three battle, and the battle will be over, when all of one sides Pokémon are unable to battle. Trainers select your Pokémon." The ref announced.
"Damian last time we met Charmander let you off easy, now he going to destroy you." Ash stated released his Charizard.
Upon seeing his old trainer, Charizard unleashed a roar that shook the earth. Damian was shocked seeing the fully evolved Fire Type.
"I remember, but if anyone is going winning this tournament it's going to be me." Damian growled. "Golem take it down." Damien released a
"Begin."
"Golem use Rock Blast!" Damian ordered.
"Charizard block it with Dragon Pulse then Dragon Breath." Ash countered.
As Golem fired several blast towards Charizard, Charizard responded with a multicolor beam, with the front in the shape off a dragon's head. Dragon Pulse overwhelmed the Rock Blast and struck Golem. Charizard then unleashed a blast of green flames Golem grunted as the attack slammed into him. Growling Damian told Golem to shake it off and fire a Stone Edge. Smashing its fist into the ground several pillar of pillars of stones burst through ground making their way towards Charizard. Ash countered by having Charizard fly out of range then use another Dragon Breath. Before the match, Ash had a talk with Charizard letting him know he would better Damian, Charizard instantly was fired up, but Ash reminded him of two things. One that the two of them were a team, and they would make Damian pay together. Another was not to let his anger get the better of him, if he did this Damian could lure him into attacks.
See the Stone Edge coming, Charizard followed Ash's commanded as it flew out of range. Charizard then fired another stream of green fired as Golem was pushed back. Damien growled, the last three battles he was in the one in control, now this twerp was. He then ordered Golem to use Rock Slide. Seeing the large rocks fall from the sky, Ash had Charizard take cover with Dig. Charizard burrowed into the ground avoid the Rock Slide, reacting quickly Damian then told Golem to use Earthquake. Golem leaped into the air, but before it could slam into the ground, Charizard burst through smashing into Golem. Charizard immediately flew back several distance.
"What wrong scared to fight like a real man." Damian taunted wanting them to come in close.
Ash ignored the taunt, he was willing to bet Damian would try to use Explosion. If Charizard was to close it could end in disaster. Still Ash had a way for Charizard to come in closer in order to knock out in one blow. However, in order to do so they would have to be patient.
"Charizard power up with Dragon Dance." Ash called out.
Charizard roared as spun in the air with a red aura surrounding it, using the opportunity Damian told Golem to knock Charizard out of the sky with Rock Slide. Using its new speed Charizard flew around all of the falling rocks avoiding the attack. Damian's face turned red, as he grew more frustrated by the minute.
"Charizard use another Dragon Breath." Ash called out.
As the battle raged on Charizard fired another blast of green flames.
"Hey Brock?" Misty called out gaining the breeder's attention, "Dragon Dance raises the Pokémon physical attack power right?" Misty questioned.
Nodding Brock replied to her question, "Yah, it also increases the speed of the Pokémon as well."
"Then why is Ash going for any physical attacks?" Misty questioned.
"He must be wary of Golem having Explosion, plus with Charizard having a major weakness to rock types he doesn't want to risk taking an attack up to close." Brock explained.
"I see, but why would he be powering up Charizard's attack if he's going to be relying on special moves?" Misty asked.
"Either he's planning on Charizard getting close then flying away before Explosion could hit, or he got something else planned." Theorized Brock.
Golem was once again struck as it was pushed back causing Golem to grunt in pain. Using the opportunity Ash then switched over to Dragon Pulse. Damian ordered Golem to block it with a Stone Edge. The two attacks collided canceling each other out, as shards of the stones were flung away. Ash then told Charizard to us Smokescreen, causing Charizard to unleash a thick layer of black smoke. Neither side could see through the thick smoke, but Damian smirked think its didn't matter.
"Use Rock Slide." Damian ordered.
"Golem." Golem roared, as large rocks fell to the ground.
However, no cries of pain could be heard, releasing made a mistake, Damian order Golem to use Earthquake however Charizard remerged slamming into Golem knocking it onto its back. Charizard then fired another Dragon Breath, blasting Golem again. Golem was struggling to stand, looking at the situation, Ash couldn't help but smirk. The old Ash would have used this opportunity to attack Golem, putting his Pokémon in harm's way of an explosion attack. But know he knew better and when the time would be right to get in close.
"Grrrrr, I've had enough of this Golem use Hyper Beam to take that Charizard out." Damian ordered.
"Golem." Golem grunted as it fired an orange beam of pure energy.
"Charizard block it with Fire Blast." Ash defended.
Charizard roared as it fired a blast of fire in the shape of a kanji, the two attack collided creating a huge explosion. Know his to get in close was now he decided the next attack would end it.
"Charizard finish Golem off with Focus Punch."
Charizard closed in, as his fist was charging with energy. Then his energy fist glowed white, as it smashed its fist into Golem sending Golem flying back. Golem landed on its back with a thud, as it rolled backwards with its eyes in swirls.
"Golem is unable to battle Charizard wins." The ref announced holding up his flags.
"Despite a disadvantage Ash still managed to taken down Golem." The announcer stated.
"I see Ash was waiting to the perfect, opportunity for Charizard to get in close with a Focus Punch. And once Golem used Hyper Beam he took it his chance, knowing Golem would need to recharge first." Brock concluded.
"But how did Ash know Golem would know Hyper Beam, much less use it?" Misty questioned.
"He didn't I'll be he was waiting for a paralyzes." Brock explained, before seeing the confused look on Misty's face.
"Dragon Breath can cause paralyzes, and by having Charizard continually use it, eventually a paralyzes would happen giving him the opportunity." Brock explained further.
"I see, that pretty clever." Misty admitted.
Damian had a sneer on his face, as he begrudging returned Golem into his Pokéball. "I'll deal with you later." He snarled, before grabbing his next choice.
"Fearow, crush him." Damian growled, releasing a large brown bird with a red crest on its head.
"Fearow." The Pokémon cawed out.
"Charizard 1 down to more to go, remember to pace yourself after all he might actually put up a fight." Ash said with a smirk, receiving a nod.
"I'm going to enjoy wiping that smirk off your face." Damian growled out. "Fearow use Drill Peck."
"Charizard block it with Iron Tail." Ash defended.
Fearow's beak glowed as it extended as it flew forward, Fearow began spinning in a corkscrew motion. Charizard's tail glowed with a silver light, as it patiently waited for Fearow to come closer. Once close enough, Charizard slammed its tail on the top of Fearow sending towards the ground. Using the opportunity Charizard unleashed a stream of flames towards the falling Fearow.
At the last moment Fearow managed to regain control as it pulled away at the last moment, not only avoiding the ground but also the Flamethrower. Damian then order Fearow to use Fury Attack, however Ash had Charizard avoid the attack by using Aerial Ace. At the last moment Charizard disappeared before reappearing ramming into Fearow with white strikes around it. Fearow cried out in pain as Charizard knocked the wind out of it.
"Shake that off and use your Aerial Ace." Damian growled out.
Fearow managed to straight itself out again, as it disappeared. Ash just told Charizard to brace itself then to use Thunder Punch once it could. Charizard crossed he arms, unfortunately Fearow struck Charizard from the back causing Charizard to fall forward. Growling Charizard turned around, however Fearow used Aerial Ace again.
"Charizard called down, and use Smokescreen." Ash countered.
Charizard unleashed a cloud of smoke that covered the surrounding area, without sight of Charizard, Fearow's Aerial Ace completely missed. Fearow then moved around looking for any signs of Charizard. Suddenly Charizard struck Fearow back with a Thunder Punch. Fearow cawed in pain as the electric cackled across its body. Charizard's left fist glowed with black swirling energy and its deliver a Mega Punch to Fearow. Fearow fell to towards the ground before managing to use Double Team. Fearow and its copies landed on the ground as started to use Roost in order to restore its health and energy. Ash had Charizard launch a Flamethrower, that struck every duplicate, but the real Fearow managed to avoid the blast.
"Fearow make sure it can't catch you Agility." Damian ordered.
Fearow flew at high speeds and its body glowed pinked as it moved more quickly.
"Want to play it like that, Charizard Dragon Dance." Ash called out.
Charizard flew after Fearow as its own speed and attack increased, and while Fearow may have been fast, Charizard wasn't far behind. Ash then had Charizard fire a series of Flamethrower that managed to puck Fearow also Charizard to strike it with a Dragon Claw. Fearow cried out in pain but managed to turn around and land series of Fury Attack on Charizard. Using the opportunity Fearow flew away before managed to strike Charizard with another Aerial Ace. Charizard groaned in pain but it wasn't done yet.
"This is getting intense." Misty said.
"Yah, and its but Ash it managing to keep cool, and Charizard focused." Brock added.
"Fearow don't you dare lose this use Sky Attack." Damian shouted.
"Charizard don't let that hit you, Dragon Rush." Ash countered.
A white aura appeared around Fearow as it charged towards Charizard with impressive speed. However, Charizard was surround by a blue aura that shaped itself into a dragon, as Charizard rushed forward. The two collided but thanks to Charizard's overwhelming power Fearow was launched back. Charizard then flew till it caught up to Fearow.
"Finish it with Seismic Toss." Ash followed up with.
Grabbing Fearow, Charizard flew high up into the air, as Damian's shouted out many commands that couldn't be heard. Charizard did several loops as it then dived towards the ground. Charizard slammed Fearow into the ground kicking up a lot of dust, and when it cleared, Fearow was out cold.
"Fearow is unable to battle Charizard wins." The ref announced.
"After a fierce match between those two flying types Charizard once again emerged as the winner." The announcer stated as the crowd cheered.
As they went Gengar was amazed at the trainer he had encounter a few days ago. It was he respected his Pokémon. This made Gengar frown wish his previous trainer was like him. But looking Damian made Gengar even madder. It was obvious that man had no respect for his Pokémon and only cared about himself. And while his previous trainer wasn't that bad, he still would throw a Shadow Ball at him if he even saw him again.
Damian growled as returned Fearow and reached for his last Pokémon, "You better not lose this." Damian demanded, as he released a floating blue jellyfish, with red orbs on its head. "Tentacruel end him."
"Tentacruel Hydro Pump!" Damian ordered.
Tentacruel fired a great volume of pressurized water towards Charizard who easily moved out of the way. Tentacruel attempt to follow Charizard with the Hydro Pulse, but Charizard proved to be too fast. Seeing this wasn't going the way he wanted, Damian order Tentacruel to shoot it down with Water Pulse. Charizard once again dodged the attacks before retailing with Dragon Pulse. Dragon Pulse tour through the Water Pulse, and slammed into Tentacruel.
"Air Slash." Ash continued.
Charizard slashed at the air, sending crescent air blade towards Tentacruel who used Protect to block it. After the attack ended, Damian had Tentacruel increased its defense with Acid Armor. Damian then order it to retaliate with a Sludge Wave. A purple liquid emerged from Tentacruel as it headed towards Charizard who used Flamethrower to block it.
Damian was pulling on his hair, this battle wasn't supposed to go this way, he should have destroyed that Charizard within seconds, but no it was mopping the floor with his own Pokémon. No matter want he was going to defeat that Charizard.
"Tentacruel use Waterfall!" Damian shouted. A geyser of water erupted from below Tentacruel and launched it towards Charizard.
Charizard retaliated with a Dragon Rush, slamming into Tentacruel with full force. Tentacruel sent towards the ground, but managed to avoid crashing but firing a Hydro Pump. Tentacruel was taken in deep breath, the series of attacks were already taking a hold. Charizard fired a Dragon Breath, to which Tentacruel blocked with an Ice Beam.
"Sludge Bomb!" Damian ordered.
"Air Slash." Ash countered.
Then air blade, and the globs of sludge collided creating a series of explosions. Charizard then unleashed a Smokescreen preventing Tentacruel from locating it. Damian just told it to fire Hydro Pump. Unbeknownst to them, Charizard flew avoid the smoke, and began gathering the sun's energy. Once he gathered enough, Charizard fired through the smoke with the attack slamming into Tentacruel.
"Charizard Dragon Pulse." Ash continued.
"Ice Beam." Damian responded. The collision of ice and dragon attacks collided again, until Dragon Pulse managed to overpower the Ice Beam.
However, Tentacruel managed to narrowly dodge the Dragon Pulse. Using the opportunity Charizard sent another series of air blades towards Tentacruel. Tentacruel had to use another Protect to defend itself in time. Tentacruel then fired a Hydro Pump, which Charizard easily dodged. Tentacruel was panting heavily now, it could keep this up. Sensing his opponent was nearing its end, Ash told Charizard to use Fire Spin.
Tentacruel retaliated with a Hydro Pump, causing the two attack to create a thick layer of steam. Sensing Charizard was going to use another Solar Beam, Damian ordered Tentacruel to use Protect. Damian was correct as the Solar Beam slammed into the Protect, and once the attack ended Damian had Tentacruel use Acid Armor to prepare if Charizard would use a physical move. However, a red glow could be seen in the sky, as a huge torrent of flames came down, Tentacruel tried to use Hydro Pump to block the attack, however the fire attack evaporated the water and slammed into Tentacruel.
"What was that?" Misty asked astounded.
"That was Blast Burn, the most power fire attack, and only capable of being learned by the fire starters." Brock answered in awe.
Went the torrent of flames ended it reveal Tentacruel was out.
"Tentacruel is unable to battle, and Charizard wins which means the victor is Ash from Pallet Town." The ref announced.
"What an incredible battle, Ash's Charizard single handling took out Damian's team." The announced cheered.
Damian however, was seething in rage, he had been beaten, and humiliated, returning Tentacruel he the grabbed another Pokéball.
"Nobody makes a fool out of me!" Damian yelled releasing a Magmar.
"What this Damian released a Magmar even though the battle is already over." The announced voice shocked.
"Magmar use Flamethrower on that twerp!" Damian shouted shocking the Pokémon, and everyone else. You do it or else!" He then added.
Magmar looking at the trainer across and back to his own. Seeing the angry look on his trainer's face he did as he was told. Everyone in the audience gasped in horror, as Brock and Misty readied their Pokémon in order to protect their friend. Charizard too tried after firing the Blast Burn, in order to protect his friend. However, something appeared from the shadow.
"Gengar!" The Gengar who had been watch the battle emerged from the shadow. Its eyes glowed pink as it caught the Flamethrower and redirected it towards the Magmar.
Magmar was knock down, before Gengar fired a Shadow Ball knocking it out. Damian was in shock over what transpired by the time he grabbed another Pokéball, Officer arrived and tackle him to the ground taking him away. Seeing Damian taken away, Gengar then flew away, with Ash chasing after him, and Misty and Brock follow soon after.
Okay I hope you enjoyed the chapter. Next chapter the final of the tournament. Also should I get rid of Jessie, James and Meowth from the story. And if so at what point, if they stay their appearance will be less frequent.
