Alright last chapter before the Pokémon League, this will be the final training chapter. Now the Orange Island ark won't be that long, not too sure how many chapters. Also has anyone seen the Master 8 tournament what a disappointment.
Irbrenneke: Glad you agree with Misty needing to hear. I've seen several people who didn't like Misty, mostly due to how she acted in the first series. And while I didn't like her that much over time, I grew to appreciate her more. As for you Eevee question only Let's Go Eevee allow Eevee to learn grass, water, and fire moves but I believe it was only the partner Eevee.
SidRyuu14: It will be a Scizor, but I'll think about giving him a shiny Kleavor later.

Stilphyell: I was having issues with Microsoft word so I used a different software, but I got that fix I'll reupload the previous chapter.
Guest: Shuckle can work, same with Rhyhorn and the fossils. I'm keeping Happiny as she shows the development for Brock going from breeder to doctor.
Guest: While I like Alolan Ninetales more than Sandslash decided to go with Sandslash since I believe a lot of people were hoping Ash would catch one.
Reader: Glad you enjoyed the previous chapter. Lola won't help with the water battlefield as I assumed she attempted to remodel the gym in Johto. I'm only guessing that as Brock has stated he visited his family before. But we don't know when, but I going to assume after the Orange Islands and before Johto. However, she will help on the rock field.
Timberwolfst: I know I go back and fix that. Not it's not a Riolu.
"I'm home!" Brock called out as he enters his house.
After spending the week at Misty's gym, they would now spend their last week training in Brock's gym before heading to the Indigo Plateau.
"Hey everyone Brock is home." Brock's younger brother Forrest cheer as everyone gathered. Soon the rest of Brock's appeared as greeting their eldest sibling. Ash, Misty and Pikachu were stunned as they remembered how many siblings their companion had.
"What's up little pipsqueaks Brock greeted his sibling.
"Hello son." Flint said, as he entered the room with a woman next to him.
"Hello dear, good to see you again." The woman greeted.
"Hi mom, hi dad." Brock replied with a grin, happy to see his family again.
This caught Ash and Misty's attention, so that was Brock's mother. The remember meeting Flint last time they were here.
"I see you brought guests dear." Brock's mom said, noticing the other two.
"Hi, my name is Ash and its very nice to meet you." Ash greeted.
"And I'm Misty, it's a pleasure to meet you." Misty introduced.
"I'm Lola Brock's mother." She replied delighted to meet her son's friends.
"So, Brock told meet you wanted to use our gym to train for the rock battlefield." Flint stated, looking at Ash.
"Ya, I figure where better to prepare for a rock field than in a gym that specializes in Rock Pokémon." Ash replied, causing Flint to grin.
"So, Brock did you catch and new Pokémon?" Brock's younger sibling Salvadore asked.
"I'll show you." Brock responded releasing Zubat and Vulpix.
"Ohhh." All of Brock's said, impressed with his two new Pokémon.
Brock kneeled to Vulpix as Zubat landed on his shoulder.
"Vulpix, Zubat I'd like you to meet my family, by siblings Salvadore, Yolanda, Forrest, Tommy, Cindy, Suzie, Timmy, Billy, and Tilly. And I'd like you to meet my parents Flint and Lola." Brock introduced his two additions to his family.
His looked impressed as they went to greet the two additions to the family. Ash and Misty couldn't help but smile seeing how Brock's siblings interacted with the two Pokémon. Lola seemed to adore Vulpix as she scooped her up. After allowing Brock's family to greet Vulpix and Zubat the trio went to place their things away before heading to the gym with Brock's family. Brock's sibling wanted to him battle again while Lola and Flint wanted to assist.
Once at the gym, Brock released Geodude and Onix, who cheered being at the gym again. Brock's sibling cheered seeing the two rock types back. After the little reunion Ash and Brock went to opposite end of the field, while Brock's sibling when to the stand along with Misty and Lola, and Flint went to referee. Unlike Misty's gym, they didn't need to learn how to move around the field.
"This will be a 2 on 2 battle; the battle will be over when all of 1 side Pokémon are unable to battle. Select your first Pokémon." Flint called out.
"Geodude let's go." Brock called out the rock type. Seeing Misty getting inspired to get more serious inspired him to train as not to get left behind.
"Geodude, dude." Geodude grunted as he was released.
"Squirtle I choose you." Ash called out the little blue turtle.
"Squirtle." Squirtle said, as he was let out.
"Begin the battle." Flint called out.
"Geodude start off with Rock Throw." Brock began.
Crossing its arms Geodude, create several stones around it, before launching them towards Squirtle.
"Squirtle block it with Gyro Ball." Ash countered.
Retreating into his shell, Squirtle spun around as a silver blade spun around it. As the rocks were launch, Squirtle collided with them slicing the rocks in half.
"Now Water Pusle." Ash continued.
"Geodude avoid with Dig." Brock countered.
"Geo." Geodude grunted as it spun around burrowing into ground. The Warer Pulse missed and smashed into on the rocks on the field.
"Squirtle Iron Defense." Ash retaliated.
Retreating into its shell Squirtle glowed as its defense increased. When Geodude surfaced it smashed into Squirtle knocking it on its back. Squirtle panicked as he struggled to get up.
"Geodude use Rollout." Brock ordered taking advantage.
"Squirtle calm down, and use Hydro Pump." Ash said getting the turtle's attention.
Once again retreating into its shell water erupted from the holes of the shell, and Squirtle began spinning around with a geyser shooting out of its shell. The two attacks collided as the power from the Hydro Pump, launched Geodude back. Geodude slammed into a boulder smashing it into pieces.
"What happened?" Salvadore asked.
"Well, when Squirtle landed on his back, Ash used Hydro Pump in order to spin around to give Squirtle a chance to restabilize himself." Forrest informed.
"Incredible." Flint said amazed, seeing how much the boy he met almost a year ago grew.
"Squirtle Water Pulse." Ash continued.
"Squirtle!" Squirtle called firing the ball of water.
"Geodude block it with Mega Punch!" Brock ordered.
"Geodude!" Geodude grunted as its fist s glowed as punched the Water Pulse destroying it.
"Now Sandstorm!" Brock continued.
Geodude glowed as it spun around as sand began picking up covering the field.
Ash and Squirtle were forced to their eyes preventing them from seeing too far. Squirtle then cried out in pain as Geodude smashed into him with a Rollout.
"Squirtle Rain Dance." Ash countered.
Getting back up, Squirtle cried out its name as he glowed blue. Then a rain cloud appeared avoid the field, rain began pouring down as the sand disappeared.
"Geodude use Rock Throw." Brock called out.
"Squirtle finish it with Surf." Ash ordered.
"Squirtle Squirt." Squirtle grunted as he summoned a giant wave.
"Geodude get out of there!" Brock cried out.
Geodude looked for a way to avoid the attack, but could find none. The wave crashed down onto Geodude and flooded the field. As the water disburse Geodude was reveal to be out cold.
"Stop Geodude is down, and the winner is Squirtle." Flint announced.
Squirtle cheered after winning, as Ash congratulated him. Brock returned Geodude thanking him for his hard work. Once both trainers were done Ash recalled Squirtle bringing out Bulbasaur next, while Brock went to Onix.
"Bulbasaur vs Onix begin the battle." Flint announced.
"Onix use Rock Throw." Brock began starring off the same way he did with Geodude.
"Bulbasaur Razor Leaf." Ash countered.
As Onix threw the rocks towards Bulbasaur, who retaliated by launch the Razor Leaf, then sliced the stones.
"Bulbasaur use Bullet Seed." Ash continued.
"Saur!" Bulbasaur grunted fired the seeds that smacked into Onix.
Onix roared in pain as it was hit with the barrage of seeds.
"Onix use Dig." Brock countered.
"Roarrr." Onix roared burrowing under the ground.
"Bulbasaur use Seed Bomb into the hole." Ash called out.
From Bulbasaur's bulb a greenish-yellow orb was fired, then went into the hole and exploded.
Smoke emerged from the hollow, as everyone waited for a sign from Onix. The ground rumbled for a before Onix emerged from underneath Bulbasaur, sending him into the air.
"Bulbasaur grab onto Onix with Vine Whip, then Razor Leaf." Ash retaliated.
"Bulba!" Bulbasaur grunted as a vine stretched out and wrapped around Onix. Bulbasaur used the vine to swing around Onix as its unleashed a barrage of leaves.
Onix roared out in pain as the leaves smacked into him. Using the opportunity Ash called out for a Leech Seed. A small seed fired from the bulb, as it wrapped around Onix. Onix glowed red, as its energy was being drained.
"Bulbasaur Bullet Seed again." Ash continued the assault.
"Onix use Slam!" Onix retaliated.
Onix lifted its tail up, and then swung it down towards Bulbasaur.
"Bulbasaur use Vine Whip to jump out of the way." Ash countered.
"Bulbasaur!" Bulbasaur called out, as it used the vines to move out of the way before Onix's tail smashed into the ground.
"Bulbasaur use Seed Bomb." Ash continued.
"Onix Dig." Brock ordered.
Onix burrowed into the ground as the Seed Bomb, struck the ground. Ash then had Bulbasaur run around into to confuse Onix. As Bulbasaur moved everyone waited looking from where Onix will emerged from. Suddenly a blast emerged from the underground, and struck Bulbasaur.
"Dragon Breath!" Ash exclaimed, before noticing the grin from Brock.
Onix then emerged once again from beneath Bulbasaur sending him into the air. However, Ash this time grinned as he called out, "Leaf Storm."
Bulbasaur then glowed a bright green, as vortex of leaves appeared around him, before he fired it towards Onix. Onix roared, as it then fell backwards and crashed into the ground. As dust surround around Onix, causing everyone to wait with baited breath. When its cleared Onix was out cold.
"Stop Onix is down, the winner is Bulbasaur and the victor is Ash." Flint announced.
"All right we did it." Ash cheered as he raised Bulbasaur.
"Bulbasaur." Bulbasaur cheered in its victory.
Brock then returned Onix praising its work. He looked over to Ash, remember how much he struggled a little under a year ago. Back then he was just a rookie trainer starting off with a Pikachu. Now he was a skilled trainer ready to take on the league.
"That was a great battle, Ash." Brock complemented.
"Thanks Brock." Ash replied. The two shook hands. As Brock excused himself to treat his Pokémon, he offered to also treat Bulbasaur and Squirtle to which Ash agreed. As Brock went outside, Misty stepped up to battle Ash. She released her Staryu while Ash released Eevee, causing Lola to gush over how cute it was.

Brock with outside as he released the four Pokémon and began treating them, as he finished the last one a sound from behind him caught his attention.
"Oh, hey Forrest, what's up." Brock said seeing who was behind him.
"Nothing I just came to check on you." Forrest answered.
"How come?" Brock asked.
"Well, is just it must be frustrating losing two times in a row like that." Forrest replied.
"Nah, my Pokémon worked hard, and did their best, there nothing to be frustrated about." Brock answered.
"I see." Forrest said, watching the Pokémon run around after being treated.
"But know, seeing how much Ash as improve in such a short time really got me thinking." Brock began catching Forrest attention.
"Thinking about what bro?" Forrest asked curious.
"If I had been giving my all towards my dream." Brock replied.
"What do you mean?" Forrest responded.
"Well, a little over a month ago, an incident nearly caused Ash lose his Pokémon. And this causing him to open his eyes in better himself. Since then, he's been massively improving, to the point where I'd say he has a real shot to win the Indigo League. And last week he said some things that opened Misty's eyes and now she's taken the stepping in order to accomplish her dreams. So, I wonder where do that leave me." Brock mused.
"You wanted to become the best breeder right." Forrest stated.
"Yeah." Brock replied.
"Well, what do you think you could improve on?" Forrest asked.
Looking at his brother Brock thought about it, and as he was thinking something Ash said came back to him, 'You only caught two Pokémon.' That echoed in Brock's mind, as he held Zubat and Vulpix Pokéball. While this was directed towards Misty it also applied to him. Maybe he could catch a few new Pokémon. After all he wasn't only working one type, make be caught more Pokémon off different type could benefit them.
Another think echoed in Brock mind, 'You would have put up a better fight if you have been raising your Pokémon better.' Another thing that was meant for Misty but also applied to him. After all, weren't battle and also getting stronger also important to a Pokémon. Maybe training with Misty and Ash, more would benefit them all. Looking back at his brother who had been staring at him Brock stood up.
"Thanks Forrest, I think I know how to improvements to accomplish my dreams." Brock said, causing Forrest to smile. After returning the Pokémon, Brock and Forrest made their way inside just in time to see Misty's Staryu getting knocked out by Eevee's take down.
"Staryu cannot continue to battle and the winner is Eevee, and the victor is Ash." Flint announced.
With the battle Brock swapped place for his father so he could ref for him.
"This one-on-one battle between Flint and Ash is about to begin. Each side is only allowed one Pokémon the battle will be over when one side's Pokémon is unable to continue does each trainer understand, Brock asked receiving a nod.
"Go Golem." Flint called out the final evolved form of Geodude.
"Tauros, I choose you." Ash responded calling out the Bull Pokémon.
"Begin." Brock announced.
"Golem Earthquake." Flint called out want to started off strong.
Golem jumped into the air, as before he slammed into the ground causing it to shake. Tauros gritted its teeth as it took the attack. Once the attack was nearing the end, as told Tauros to use Iron Head. Charging forward Tauros's head gained a metallic look as he rammed into Golem sending it flying.
"Now Work Up." Ash continued.
As Golem crashed into the ground, Tauros mooed as it glowed as its attack increased.
"Tauros use Smart Strike." Ash ordered.
With its horns glowing, Tauros raced towards Golem.
"Golem Focus Punch!" Flint defended.
Golem's hand glowed as it thrust its fist forwards blocking Tauros's assault. The two attacks clashed as blocked the other.
"Close Combat." Ash ordered.
Tauros let out a fierce grunt as he began bucking and kicking as landed repeated strikes on Golem.
"Finish it with Earthquake." Ash called out.
Smashing its front hooves on the ground its shook violently as Golem gritted its teeth. Seeing Golem wasn't going down yet, Ash had Tauros finish it off with another Iron Head.
Golem was struck had, as it rolled back unconscious.
"Golem is unable to battle, and Tauros is the winner, and the victory goes to Ash."
With another through they decided to finish off today with one last battle, Ash vs Lola. Lola choose her Marill, causing Misty to gush on how cute it was however Ash made a surprising choice by selecting his Rhydon. Lola decided to allow Ash to make the first move.
"Rhydon use Rock Blast." Ash began.
Rhydon's horn glowed as its first several blast of energy towards Marill.
"Marill use Surf." Lola countered.
"Marill." Marill said, as it created a giant wave and raced towards Rhydon. Everyone watching everyone was nervous since Surf would do a lot of damage, and except for Brock who noticed the calm look on Ash's face.
"Protect." Ash responded.
Rhydon smashed its fist together as a green barrier appeared around Rhydon protecting him from the water. Once the water disappeared, Ash had Rhydon use Thunderbolt catching Lola off guard. Marill was shocked as Rhydon use the opportunity to smash its tail against Marill with an Iron Tail.
Marill smack into a bolder, causing Lola to cried out in concern. Marill managed to get back on to its feet as its retaliated with a Bubble Beam. Rhydon groaned as it was struck hard.
"Rhydon Rock Slide." Ash retaliated.
Rhydon summed several large rocks that created a barrier protecting Rhydon. Thinking Ash would call for Protect again if she called for a Surf. Lola told Marill to use Hydro Pump.
Marill blasted through the rocks only to see Rhydon was gone, catch everyone off guard. A Thunderbolt blasted through the ground striking Marill, causing her to cry out in pain. Ash had Rhydon put an end to the match by using Thunder Punch with knocked out Marill giving Ash the win.
With the battles over for the day Ash spend the rest of the day working on moves, and coming up with ideas on how to use the battlefield. Once the training was done, everyone went back to the house were Brock cooked a fantastic dinner. The rest of the week Brock joined in on the training, and Misty found out Lola was a water type trainer she begged for tips to which Lola was more than happy to give.
When the week was up, everyone back up, in order to make their way to the Indigo Plateau, for the league. The group bid goodbye to Brock's family before beginning the trip. Ash's spirit was higher than ever now it was time to put their past two months to use.
Alright training is over, now the league. Originally, I planning on Ash to catch a Kadabra, but I released he wouldn't have enough time to train it. So. He will catch it after the league. I also reuploaded the previous two chapters to make so minor changes.
