Alright time for round 3 on the ice field against Pete Pebbleman. Now so far people want Ash's three Kanto starters to get their Megas but let's keep this open for a little more. After I love both the G-Max and Mega. Anyway, back to the story.

Alright keep voting between megas and g-max for the three Kanto starters of Ash.
As Ash and his friends walked out of the area they began heading over to the Pokémon Center. Misty suggested this in order avoid waiting in line later. Ash agreed as arrived at the center, as handed his Pokémon to Nurse Joy, Brock took the chance to flint with her, only to be dragged away by Misty. While they were waiting, they notice Giselle picking up her own Pokémon, and call her over.
"Hi there." She greeted.
"Hey Giselle how are you doing?" Ash greeted back.
"I'm doing great, I see you match you did quite well." Giselle replied.
"So did you, your Swampert was incredible." Ash complemented.
"So was your Rhydon." Giselle happily returned.
"So, Giselle where did you get your Swampert from?" Misty, asked. Since Swampert was a part water type, she wanted to find out where to get one herself.
"It was gift from my mother, Swampert is the final evolve form of Mudkip one of the starters from the Hoenn Region, where my mother is from. After you guys left, my mother gifted her to me, as a late birthday gift, since she wasn't able to get her on time." Giselle explained.
Giselle went on to explain that her mother had gotten her from a breeder, who was a friend of her grandfather. Apparently, he would breed Mudkips for the Pokémon League to hand out as starters. She went on to talk about how when she received Mudkip, Mudkip was quite shy and took a while to warm up to her.
"Well, I said you raised her quite well. By the way are all your Pokémon ground types?" Brock asked.
"Yes." Giselle said with a nod, before adding, "Yes, they are. Since I was little, I decided to be a ground type trainer."
"Really, made you decide to specializes in ground types?" Ash asked.
"Well, it happened when I got to watch my cousin battle against Bertha, the ground type master, and a member of the Sinnoh Elite Four." Giselle explained.
"Wow, your cousin battled an Elite Four." Ash said, amazed.
"Yes, she even defeated her." Giselle stated with a proud expression.
The group continued to chat for a while longer, until Nurse Joy notified them that Ash's Pokémon were ready for pick up. After grabbing his Pokémon Ash asked Giselle wanted to join them since they were planning on grabbing some food. Giselle declined saying she had plans with her grandfather. The group understand and said goodbye, before heading out.
The they pass several stands, game booths, before finding and all you can eat restaurant. They took a seat outside to be able to feed their Pokémon. As everyone ate, Misty asked Ash what Pokémon he was planning on using for the grass and ice field. After thinking about it for a second, decided to use Bulbasaur, Scyther, and Muk for the grass field. Squirtle would be used for ice field, along with Pikachu and Kingler. This caused Pikachu, and Squirtle to perk up hearing they would be use soon. Once they finished their dinner, they decided to get some rest.
The next day after going to the center, they then found out Ash would be on the ice field. One phone call later, and Rhydon was swapped for Kingler. Today he would be the first match on the ice field. So, after making their way to the stadium Ash went to the red side today.
"It's time for the first third round match on the ice battle field. In the red corner we have the poplar rookie Ash Ketchum. And over in the green corner we have the impressive Pete Pebbleman. Ketchum so far, hasn't lost a single Pokémon so far. But will Pete put an end to that, well, have to wait and see." The announcer called out.
"Go Poliwrath." Peter called out.
"Pikachu, I choose you." Ash said.
"Pika, Pika." Pikachu squeaked happily, as he leaped off of Ash's shoulder and onto the ice field.
"Pikachu use Thunderbolt." Ash began.
"Pika, Chu!" Pikachu began firing the blast of electricity.
"Poliwrath use Ice Beam." Pete countered with.
"Poliwrath!" Poliwrath grunted as it fired the blast of cold energy.
The two attacks collided creating a small explosion as they blocked off the other. Seeing this Ash had move around the field with Agility and Double Team in an effort to confuse Poliwrath. Pete notice Poliwrath was getting confused as quickly countered it.
"Poliwrath Earthquake." Pete ordered.
This caught Ash off guard he had no Poliwrath can learn Earthquake.
"Pikachu use Quick Attack then jump." Ash defended.
"Pika!" Pikachu grunted as he used the increased speed to jump into the air.
Poliwrath jumped before slamming into the ice shaking the air. The attack took out the copies but the real Pikachu was in the air.
"Now Electro Ball." Ash called out.
Pikachu created a ball of electricity at his tail before firing it towards Poliwrath. How Pete defended by have Poliwrath use Dynamic Punch to block the attack. Electro Ball was destroyed but Pikachu use the opportunity to blast Poliwrath with a Thunderbolt. Poliwrath was painfully shock as electricity coursed through the body.
"Poliwrath use Earth Power!" Pete retaliated.
Poliwrath grunted as he smashed his fist into the ground, cracking the ice causing power to flow out and strike Pikachu.
"Pika!" Pikachu grunted as he was struck.
"Pikachu!" Ash cried out in concern, before a thought came to him. "Pikachu use Light Screen!"
"Pika!" Pikachu squeaked out, as he created a rainbow-colored screen.
"Pikachu now use Double Team." Ash continued.
"Pika!" Pikachu called out, as he created several copies and surrounded Poliwrath.
"Now Discharge." Ash called out.
Unleashing another powerful blast of electricity Poliwrath was struck by Pikachu and his doubles. Pete cried out in worry or Poliwrath, however the Tadpole Pokémon was still standing, though from the burns covering it look like it couldn't take too many hits.
"Mind Reader!" Pete yelled out.
Ash was confused he had heard of this move; however, Brock warned him that I would make sure it would land its next move. This causing Ash to worry about a potential Earthquake or Earth Power.
"Hypnosis." Pete continued.
Before Pikachu could react Poliwrath was Infront of him, with its eyes glowing red. Pikachu then collapsed asleep from the Hypnosis.
"Poliwrath Earthquake." Pete ordered.
Poliwrath shook the ground with a powerful Earthquake, as Pikachu was still fast asleep. Poliwrath then swapped over to Earth Power dealing even more damaged to Pikachu.
"Poliwrath use Dynamic Punch." Pete called out.
Poliwrath smashed his fist into Pikachu's stomach sending him flying. Pikachu crashed into the ice, causing him to wake up. As Poliwrath was cheering, it suddenly winced his body cackling with electricity.
"What happened?" Pete questioned.
"Alright, Poliwrath triggered Pikachu's ability Static." Brock said.
"Now's your chance Ash." Misty cheered along with Togepi.
"Pikachu end this Volt Tackle!" Ash chanted.
"Pika!" Pikachu cried out, as he charged forward, he ran as electricity cloaked his body.
Pikachu slammed into Poliwrath sending him flying across the map, and crashing into the ground. Poliwrath tried to get up, but collapsed back on the ground.
"Poliwrath is out of the competition the winner is Pikachu." The ref called out.
"Despite having the type advantage Pikachu still took massive damage from Poliwrath. Will Ash keep Pikachu or switch him out, and what Pokémon will Pete send out next?" The announcer stated, as the crowd was cheering.
"Go Cloyster." Pete called out.
"Cloyster." Cloyster grunted.
Seeing Pikachu panting from all the damage he has taken, Ash decoded to make the switch.
"Pikachu take a break." Ash called out.
"Pika!" Pikachu squeak, as he returned to Ash's side.
"Kingler I choose you." Ash called out.
"Cloyster use Iron Defense." Pete began with.
"Kingler Swords Dance." Ash called out.
Both Pokémon started off by powering up, Cloyster with its defenses, and Kingler his attack power. These actions would be repeated two more times, once the Pokémon were powered up, the trainers began their attacks.
"Cloyster Rock Blast." Pete started off with.
Cloyster fired several blasts towards Kingler, who defended itself by summon a Whirlpool and throwing it at Cloyster. The Whirlpool block the Rock Blast, before trapping Cloyster in its currents.
"Rock Slide." Ash continued.
Kingler summoned large boulders that fell from the skies, towards Cloyster.
"Cloyster Protect." Pete defended.
Cloyster created a green barrier that block the Rock Slide. Since Rock Slide destroyed the Whirlpool, this meant that Cloyster was free. Cloyster then fired back with a Spike Cannon. Seeing the incoming attack, Ash told Kingler to use his own Protect. The Spike Cannon bounced harmlessly off the barrier Kingler had created, as Kingler was struck by several icicles after the barrier disappeared.
"Kingler use Rock Tomb." Ash retaliated with.
Kingler hurled several rocks at Cloyster, causing Cloyster to wince.
"Now another Rock Tomb." Ash continued.
As Kingler fired several more rocks, Pete told Cloyster to block it with Hydro Pump. The power blast of water, held off the Rock Tomb before pushing it back at Kingler. Kingler retaliated by smacking the incoming attack away with Crabhammer. Kingler the fired his own Hydro Pump, as Cloyster did the same. The two attacks collided, each one struggling to overpower the other. Eventually Cloyster's Hydro Pump, managed to overpower Kingler's as it struck Kingler sending him skidding back several feet.
"Kingler use Brutal Swing." Ash called out.
Kingler scuttled up to Cloyster and grabbed one of its spikes and begun spinning around before tossing it. Cloyster landed on the ground with a thud. Kingler then fired a Rock Tomb that managed to connect, as Cloyster was pelted hard with rocks. Kingler then move up to Cloyster before striking it with another Crabhammer. Cloyster grunted before using the opportunity to retaliate with Rock Blast. Kingler was forced back, as Cloyster continued to strike with an Aurora Beam. Kingler then would block the attack with a Scald. The boiling water managed to keep the Aurora Beam away.
"Kingler Brick Break." Ash ordered.
"Cloyster Protect." Pete defended.
Kingler's arm glowed brightly, as Cloyster retreated into its shell, just in time as Kingler's arm smash onto the barrier.
"Kingler back off a bit, and use Rock Slide." Ash continued.
As the large boulder were blocked by the barrier, Ash then told Kingler to use Crabhammer on Cloyster once the barrier was down. Once the barrier disappeared, Kingler then hammered away on Cloyster, as Ash told it to focus on one spot on the shell. Kingler continued the onslaught, while Cloyster stayed in its shell. But eventually Kingler managed to crack the shell, forcing Cloyster to open it, revealing he had been knocked out.
"Cloyster is out of the competition the winner is Kingler." The ref stated.
"Alright Kingler." Ash cheered along with the crowd.
"And that Kingler continues its winning streak, having taken out its four Pokémon at the Indigo League." The announcer called out.
Seeing Kingler was beginning to tire out, Ash decided to return him.
"Now what will choose as their next Pokémon? Will Pete choose a water type or an ice type? Will Ash bring back out his Pikachu, or will he reveal his third Pokémon?" The announcer questioned.
"Squirtle, I choose you." Ash called out.
"Go Arcanine." Pete called out.
"Squirtle." Squirtle cried out as he was let out.
"Arrrr." Arcanine roared.
"And Ketchum calls out his Squirtle, and Pebbleman surprises everyone by choosing a fire type." The announcer stated.
"Squirtle start off with Water Pulse." Ash began.
"Arcanine use Flamethrower." Pete countered.
The attacks crashed creating a layer of steam on the field.
"Arcanine use Dragon Rage." Pete continued.
"Squirtle Ice Beam." Ash retaliated.
Arcanine fired a light purple ball of energy, that collided with Squirtle's Ice Beam canceling each other out. As the attacks collided Arcanine sprinted forward slamming into Squirtle with an Extreme Speed. Squirtle cried out a Arcanine smacked into him.
"Arcanine use Flamethrower." Pete ordered.
"Squirtle use Whirlpool." Ash countered.
That two attacks collided; the Flamethrower managed to evaporate at the Whirlpool before striking Squirtle. Squirtle cried out, as he was thrown back from the force.
"Squirtle use Hydro Pump." Ash retaliated.
Squirtle retreated into his shell, as he begun spinning around spraying high pressure water. Arcanine cried out in pain as he was struck by the powerful water attack. Using this opportunity, Ash had Squirtle switch over to Aqua Tail. A spiral of water emerged from Squirtle's tail, as he slammed the attack onto Arcanine, who howled in pain.
"Arcanine use another Dragon Rage." Pete ordered.
Dragon Rage was fired faster than Squirtle could responded, who then took to attack headed on. Squirtle cried out in pain as he was thrown back. Arcanine then charged forward with his fangs cackling with electricity. Squirtle retreated into his shell in time, as Arcanine bit down on it with a Thunder Fang. Squirtle groaned in pain, from inside his shell. Thankfully the Iron Defense he used when he retreated lowered the damage a bit.
"Squirtle Hydro Pump." Ash retaliated.
The powerful blast of water shot out from the shell, as it struck Arcanine, forcing Arcanine to release Squirtle.
"Squirtle Skull Bash." Ash continued.
"Squirtle, Squirt." Squirtle grunted, as he tucked his head, as rushed forward striking Arcanine.
"Arcanine don't let up use Extreme Speed." Pete countered.
Arcanine rushed forward with incredible speed, as he struck Squirtle.
"Squirtle counter with Aqua Tail." Ash called out.
Squirtle's tail swirled with water as he tried to strike Arcanine only for Arcanine to move out the way avoiding the attack.
"Arcanine use Fire Blast." Pete commanded.
"Arrrr!" Arcanine howled, as he fired a blast of fire in the start of a kanji.
"Squirtle dodge it!" Ash called out in concern.
Squirtle narrowly avoided the attack, but had to immediately avoid another one, as Arcanine kept firing. As the blast keep missing and hit the field, it caused the ice to melt turning it into water.
"Looks like you match just melted away." Pete taunted.
However, Ash just grinned as he replied, "Wrong looks like your chances melt away, after all you just Squirtle a better felt to play with."
Pete's eyes widen in horror as he realized Ash was right, now Arcanine had nowhere to run.
"Squirtle Surf!" Ash yelled out in trump.
"Squirtle." Squirtle cheered, as he summoned a massive wave.
The wave consumed Arcanine as it knocked him over into the water. When the wave disbursed, Arcanine was belly up, and knocked out.
"Arcanine is out of the competition, the winner is Squirtle, and the victory goes to red trainer Ash Ketchum." The ref announced.
"It's all over, and once the poplar rookie, Ash Ketchum achieved another flawless victory without losing one Pokémon." The announcer called out as the crowd cheered.
"Now that Ketchum has competed on the water, rock, and now ice field all he has left to conquer is the grass field and he'll be battling in the Indigo Stadium, can the rookie continue his winning streak, we'll have to wait and see." The announcer stated.
With the battle over, the group decided to take the Pokémon to get treated, and watch some of the other matches.
Alright next chapter well be watching a rival fight between Giselle and Joe so look forward to it. Also, I'm planning on write a few new stories 3 of them miniseries. One will be moments of the anime where his Pokémon with evolve or evolve earlier. This miniseries, will include Pikachu choosing to evolve and the effect it could have had on the series. Or Cyndaquil evolving earlier, Snivy evolving. The next with be on Pokémon people wanted to see Ash catch or that he befriended, like Houndour, Larvitar, Sponik, Hippopotas, and other and see what I can come up with. This last miniseries will be if Ash was a type specialty. So, we'll be watching Ash just catch Pokémon of a certain type, and the battle he'll part take in. The last story will revolve around the World Coronation Tournament. That last one won't be written till after Scarlet and Violet come out since I want to see how to fit the region in. Note this one isn't a journey's rewrite since I won't have Goh, Chloe, and the rest of Prof. Cerise and etc. so sorry if you like those characters.
