All right time for Giselle vs Joe, then we'll get to the round 4. After that we'll have the 4 more battles for Ash. So is there another other character you wish to see battle. Your options are the winner of this round, A.J., Fergus, Neesha, and Corey. After that will be moving on the Orange Islands and then a surprise. Before I forget, there is a new story I wrote, that didn't upload to the main place where you see the stories. But the first two chapters are up on my profile. It's about Ash's on becoming and electric type master, so if you're interested be sure to check it out.

SidRyuu14: I thought we had this discussion before. As for Pikachu, there will be three different scenarios I'll right, since he could have at three points. One will be the Alolan Form.
Irbrenneke: To answer the first question no, the egg is neither a rock type or a steel type. I'm not planning on giving him anymore rock and steel types till during the Orange Island. To answer the 2nd yes and no, he will get a Rolycoly, but it will be before they head to Johto.

Reader: Other than A.J., Joe and maybe Giselle who else did he promise to meet? Yes, Ash did face Pete again. You make a good point about the megas and g-max and dynamax.
Reader: Glad you enjoyed the battle. Hopefully this battle will not disappoint. Not sure about Jeannette having a Victreebell or Scizor but that could be cool.

"Reader: Well, the idea for the harem wasn't mine, it everyone who suggested it. As for the vote it was decided if we will do the harem route or single paring. But that won't be for a while.
"We made it." Ash said, as group arrive in time for the match to start. After his Pokémon treated, they noticed Giselle match would start soon, and too their surprised she would be battling Joe. Since they hadn't been able to watch too many matches at the league, they decided to watch her match from the stands.
"I wonder what Pokémon Giselle witch use." Brock replied.
"Well, we know they will all be ground types." Misty stated.
"Let see if I remember correctly, we've seen her use, Swampert and Nidoqueen." Ash added.
"Ya, and the first time we met her, she had a Graveler, and Cubone." Brock added.
"When we watch Joe at the tournament, he had a Porygon, Staryu, Crobat, Electabuzz, Hypno, and Victreebel." Misty stated.
"Since their battling on the grass field, Victreebel will have the advantage, add Staryu and those can give Giselle a challenge." Brock added.
"Well, we're about to find out." Ash finished.
(On the Grass Field)
"And were about to start the 3rd battle on the grass battlefield. In the red corner we have Joe Thomas from Mulberry City. Joe has done making it to the third round, in his first Pokémon League. And in the green corner we have Giselle Yuto a graduate of Pokémon Tech. So far Giselle has only shown two Pokémon in this entire league. Both trainers show promising futures let see who will come out on top." The announcer stated.
"Nidoqueen shake the earth." Giselle called out as she released a large blue, bipedal mammalian Pokémon.
"And Giselle releases her Nidoqueen, this Pokémon dominated her first-round opponent." The announcer called out.
"Starmie, let's battle." Joe called out.
"And Joe calls his Starmie, this managed to take down two of Joe's last opponent's Pokémon." The announcer informed.
"Begin!" The ref called out.
"Nidoqueen Thunderbolt." Giselle began.
Nidoqueen roared, as she fired a bolt of electricity from her horn.
"Starmie dodge then Light Screen." Joe countered.
Starmie span out of the way, as it created a rainbow-colored barrier.
"Now Psybeam." Joe continued.
Starmie continued spinning in circles as it fired a multicolored beam towards Nidoqueen.
"Nidoqueen use Flamethrower." Giselle countered.
Nidoqueen opened her mouth, and fired a torrent of flames. The two attacks collided before the Flamethrower managed to push the Psybeam back. However, the two attacks exploded before the Flamethrower reached Starmie.
"Nidoqueen use Shadow Ball." Giselle ordered.
Nidoqueen roared, as she fired a purple and black orb, smacking into the barrier Starmie created, cutting the damage in half. Starmie grunted before retaliating by firing a beam of cryonic energy. Nidoqueen winced as she took the ice type move.
"Nidoqueen Flamethrower." Giselle countered.
Nidoqueen unleashed a blast of fire through powered through the Ice Beam before striking Starmie. Starmie winced from the flames before moving out of the way. Joe then called or a Hydro Pump.
Starmie then fired the blast of water as it collided into Nidoqueen, knocking her off her feet.
"Starmie use another Hydro Pump." Joe ordered.
"Nidoqueen defend with Stone Edge." Giselle called out.
Nidoqueen smashed her fist into the ground, causing pillars of rocks too raise. Starmie maneuvered out of the way, before looking for an opening in order to strike. Giselle continued by having Nidoqueen use Rock Slide. Starmie had to move out of way, only to take a Thunderbolt from Nidoqueen. Starmie winced, as the Light Screen had ended causing it to take full damage. Starmie felt towards the ground, as Nidoqueen began rushing towards it, with her fist cackling with electricity.
"Starmie use Psychic." Joe countered.
Starmie's gem glowed pink as Nidoqueen was covered in a pink aura, and held in place. Starmie then fired a blast of water nailing Nidoqueen with a Hydro Pump. Nidoqueen groaned as she fell on her back, with a thud. Starmie the summoned a massive wave, as it rode it. Starmie attempted to drench Nidoqueen, as it rode the Surf attack.
"Protect!" Giselle yelled out.
Nidoqueen smashed her fist together as a green barrier surrounded her. The wave surrounded her, but the Protect was still up, preventing Nidoqueen from the flood. As the wave crashed down, and disburse, Nidoqueen was revealed to be unharmed.
"Nidoqueen Stone Edge." Giselle continued.
Nidoqueen smashed her fist into the ground creating large pillar that headed straight to Starmie.
"Starmie dodge it." Joe ordered.
Starmie moved out of the wave as avoided the giant stones, only to get smacked by a Shadow Ball.
"Oh no Starmie use Recover." Joe pleaded.
Starmie began glowing as the wounds on its body began disappearing.
"Nidoqueen Thunderbolt!" Giselle ordered.
As Starmie was gaining back health it was hit by a powerful blast. Despite using Recover the Thunderbolt undid all its progress.
"Finish it with Crunch!" Giselle called out.
Nidoqueen ran forward towards Starmie, who tried to jump out of the way. Unfortunately, all the damage it took, had taken its toll as Starmie was bitten, and trapped in Nidoqueen's jaws. Nidoqueen then tossed Starmie to the ground. Starmie's gem flashed several times signaling it was out.
"Starmie is unable to battle, Nidoqueen wins." The ref announced.
"Despite Starmie giving its all, Nidoqueen still reign supreme." The announcer stated, as the crowd cheered.
"That was impressive." Brock complemented.
"Yah, despite the disadvantage Nidoqueen took out Starmie." Misty added.
"Not to mention the way Giselle managed to counter so of Starmie's attacks, was done well." Ash added.
"Return Starmie you did great." Joe said, returning Starmie. He then grabbed a new Pokéball and released the Pokémon. "Hypno let's go."
"Hypno." Hypno grunted.
"And Joe releases a Hypno, let's see if this psychic type, can finish the ground Starmie started." The announcer called out.
"Hypno use Nasty Plot." Joe stared off with.
"Nooo!" Hypno grunted as it was covered in a purple aura.
"Nidoqueen Taunt." Giselle retaliated with.
Nidoqueen made a bring it on motion with its hand, before turning its head to Hypno, causing Hypno to glare at Nidoqueen.
"Hypno use Psychic." Joe countered.
Hypno's eyes glowed pink, as another pink aura surrounded Nidoqueen as she was hurled by Hypno. Nidoqueen was slammed into ground, with a thud.
"Earth Power." Giselle called out.
Nidoqueen slammed her right foot, on the ground causing the ground to erupted, as the ground cracked, as power flew out.
"Hypno use Psybeam." Joe countered.
Hypno grunted as it fired a multicolored beam towards the ground. The Earth Power and Psybeam collided as the two blocked the other. Thanks to the boost from the Nasty Plot Hypno's attacks were more powerful.
"Nidoqueen use Rock Tomb." Giselle retaliated with.
Nidoqueen then create large rocks that surrounded Hypno.
"Hypno Light Screen, then Shadow Ball." Joe ordered.
Hypno created a rainbow barrier before fired a purple and black orb at the rocks that surrounded it, creating an opening. However, when it walked out of its trap, it noticed its opponent was gone.
"Where did it go?" Joe questioned.
Suddenly the grounded erupted as a Shadow Ball blasted from the ground slamming into Hypno. Then Nidoqueen jumped out of the ground smashing its fist into Hypno.
"Hypno!" Joe cried out in concern.
"Nidoqueen use Flamethrower." Giselle continued her assault.
Nidoqueen then fired her torrent of flames towards Hypno, who responded by using Psychic to control the flames sending them back.
"Drill Run!" Giselle retaliated with.
Nidoqueen ran forward as she then began spinning her body like a drill, as she passed through the flames. Nidoqueen then slammed into Hypno sending it tumbling back.
"Use Brick Break." Giselle continued.
Nidoqueen brought her arm down, as the Light Screen appeared, only for Brick Break to smash through it destroying it. Hypno grunted as Nidoqueen's arm slammed into her. However, Hypno was out, as it fired a Psyshock sending Nidoqueen stumbling back.
"Use Hypnosis." Joe called out, hoping the Taunt ended.
Thankfully for Joe it did, as Hypno began swaying its ring back and forth. Giselle told Nidoqueen not to look but it was too late, as Nidoqueen collapsed fast asleep.
"Now Dream Eater." Joe called out.
Nidoqueen began glowing red, as Hypno began feeding off her dream, taking her energy, and relishing its own. Now Nidoqueen was a goner unless she did something, Giselle called out her only defense.
"Sleep Talk!" Giselle cried out.
Much to the shock of everyone, Nidoqueen opened her mouth and fired mouth a fired an orange beam of pure energy. The Hyper Beam then slammed into Hypno sending flying as crashing onto the ground hard. As the dust cleared, Hypno was out cold.
"Hypno is unable to battle, Nidoqueen wins." The ref announced.
"Hypno put up a brave fight, but in the end the Drill Pokémon emerged victories." The announced stated, with the crowd going wild.
"Too bad, Hypno did some great work." Brock stated.
"Yup but Nidoqueen's defenses were really top notch, plus he managed to put it to sleep." Misty added.
"I suppose, but Joe is still in a bad spot, he only had one Pokémon left, and Giselle still has three." Ash finished.
The two trainers returned their Pokémon, as the grabbed the one. Giselle released her 2nd choice first.
"Marowak shake the earth." Giselle said, as she called out her partner.
"Marowak." Marowak grunted as he twirled his bone.
"Victreebel let's go." Joe called out his own partner.
"Ahhh!" Victreebel screamed as it was released.
"Victreebel use Stun Spore." Joe began.
Victreebel started off by flinging a cloud of yellow spores. Seeing this Giselle had Marowak use Flamethrower to burn away all the spores. The flames easily incinerated the spores before making their way to Victreebel, who hoped out of the way at the last second.
"Victreelbel Sunny Day." Joe ordered.
Victreebel screamed as it released an orange orb that went into the sky. It then disappeared, causing the sun to burn brighter, and the temperature to increase.
'Interesting strategy, wondering what he's planning.' Giselle thought.
"Victreebel use Energy Ball." Joe continued.
With incredible speed Victreebel moved forward before firing a green orb. Marowak was caught off guard, as the attack slammed into it sending him flying.
'Ah I see VIctreebel ability is Chlorophyll, causing its speed to double in the sun.' Giselle thought analyzing what happened.
"Marowak use Icy Wind." Giselle countered.
Marowak opened his mouth, as released a blast of ice-cold air. Victreebel jumped to avoid the attack. Ah it was in the air, Victreebel retaliated by firing a tornado of leaves towards Marowak who burrowed underground. Trying to see where its opponent was, Victreebel was struck from below by a blast of flames.
"Marowak use Bonemerang." Giselle called out.
"Maro." Marowak grunted, as he tossed his bone.
The bone spun, as it headed towards Victreebel. Seeing the incoming attack, Victreebel jumped to the side to avoid the attack.
"Solar Beam." Joe countered.
Victreebel's leaves glowed as it began absorbing the sunlight, it the fired the energy it gathered in a focused blast. Seeing the incoming the attack, Marowak created a barrier just in time, as the beam struck the Protect. Joe gritted his teeth, seeing the attack failed.
"Marowak use Fire Punch on the attack ends." Giselle called out.
As the attack was weaking the Bonemerang returned and struck Victreebel in the back. Victreebel cried out pain, as the Solar Beam stopped. Seeing its opportunity, Marowak charged forward with its fist set a blazed. Marowak grabbed its bone club out of the air with its left hand, as its right fist struck Victreebel. Victreebel cried out in pain, as it fell back.
"Marowak use another Fire Punch." Giselle called out.
"Marowak." Marowak grunted running forward.
"Victreebel get, and use Leaf Blade." Joe pleaded.
Victreebel moved as it slashed Marowak with its side leaves, dealing a powerful blow. However, the sun power began to fade, as the Sunny Day ended.
"Victreebel use Sunny Day." Joe called out, not wanting his advantage to end.
"I don't think so, Marowak use Sandstorm." Giselle countered.
Marowak glowed as the Sunny Day ended, then a powerful Sandstorm appeared, covering the entire field.
"Oh no." Joe cried out in concern.
"Marowak use Bone Rush." Giselle called out.
Marowak ran in as it began striking Victreebel several times. Victreebel's cries could be heard, as Joe retaliated by calling for a Leaf Blade. Victreebel attempted to slash Marowak who jumped out of the way.
"Finish it with Earthquake." Giselle called out.
Marowak landed on the ground with a thud, as it created massive tremor. The ground shook violently as everyone waited with baited breaths. Suddenly the sandstorm disappeared, as VIctreebel was on the ground out cold.
"Victreebel is unable to battle, the winner is the green trainer, Giselle Yuto." The ref announced.
"What a match Joe put up a valiant effort, but in the end Giselle out another win without losing a single Pokémon." The announcer stated, as the crowd went wild.
Joe ran up to VIctreebel knelt down and thanked it for its hard work. He then returned the Pokémon for a good long rest, as Giselle returned her Marowak.
"Well looks like you won Giselle." Joe said, as she met his in the middle.
"You did well though, you've gotten a lot stronger." Joe.
"I may have lost, but I'm going to keep training in order to get a lot stronger. Well keep going Giselle, and make it to the finals." Joe replied.
"Thank you, Joe." Giselle said, before shaking Joe's hand.
The crowd cheered seeing the sportsmanship between the two trainers.
(Up in the stand Ash, Brock, and Misty were clapping for the great battle.)
They both did well." Misty stated.
"Ya, but looks like Giselle was able to counter what Joe through at her." Brock added.
"This battle got me so pumped I hope I can battle Giselle." Ash said.
With the battle over, the group left in order to meet with Giselle and Joe. The accompanied the trainers to get their Pokémon healed. After Giselle excused herself since she had to go meet up with her grandfather. Joe joined the group as they went to watch the other matches, before the group went to grab dinner.
Tomorrow Ash would compete on the grass field, and he couldn't wait to battle.
