He didn't really know why he was invited. He was restocking when Liam came up with a bright smile and handed him the invitation to his upcoming wedding. So here he was, at Liam's church, helping him to get his wedding ready.

Liam was a new hire at the bookstore. A good guy, but new.

The wedding was at the church he and his future wife went to. Joe was currently taking a box of decorations to the reception area which was the area where church service was. That's when he saw her.

She was sweeping the floor around the tables as people put tablecloths onto the tables. She wasn't ready for the wedding yet, she was in jeans and a nice button-down shirt. She must've stayed since after church.

"Excuse me. Should I set this there on the stage?" Joe asked her. She looked up, and he felt his heart skip a beat. She had pretty greenish blue eyes, full lips that he wanted to feel on his own. She smiled at him.

"Yeah. Just set it there. I will put things up when I finish here and get ready." She told him with a nod. "Are you with the groom or the bride?" He asked as he went closer to her to the stage behind her.

"I'm with both. I trained Hailey in the cafe. And I am friends with Liam." She explained. "What about you?" She asked as she swept up the dust pile, she had from sweeping the large room. She then stood there looking at him.

"Groom. He just started at the bookstore." He told her. She nodded. "Well. I need to get ready. I'm Alexia. If you need anything let me know." She told him before leaving.

Alexia. A pretty name for a pretty girl.

Joe looked over and saw Alexia walking out of the bathroom. She looked beautiful in her light pink bridesmaid dress. Her dark hair was curled and pinned to stay on one side. The straps were ribbons tied on top of her shoulders.

Her dress had a corset top to it. It was a flowy skirt, and she had on matching heels. She looked absolutely beautiful.

She walked to the cafe and put an apron on and started making the special drinks that the bride and groom asked be made for the guests. He walked over to her and waited his turn to give his order.

She handed two cups of a Icey she made for two people, she smiled at him. "Hey there." She greeted. He smiled at her. "Hey. So you are the one making the drinks?" He asked. She nodded. "I am, there would be a moment where I won't be for some pictures. But yes. I will be in charge here." She explained.

Joe nodded. "I'm Joe by the way. You introduced yourself but left before I could introduce myself." He told her. Her eyes widened. "Oh, I'm so sorry." She moved around and hugged him, making him freeze a moment before hugging her back.

She felt good in his arms, and she smelt nice.

Joe hated when she moved away from him. "Did you want a drink before the wedding starts?" She asked him. Joe shook his head no. "Not right now. Maybe later after." He told her. She nodded and left the cafe with him.

The two talked as he led her to where the bride and bridesmaids were waiting for her. She waved and went into the room to be ready for when the wedding would start.

Joe couldn't look at the bride and groom. His eyes stayed stuck on Alexia. She stood with one of the couple's three dogs that were a part of the wedding, she would wipe her eyes as she smiled at the loving couple.

The wedding was outside, a rainbow around as it stopped raining for the wedding.

He wondered how happy she would be when she got married. When HE married her.

Would she cry seeing him waiting for her? Happy tears that would flow around them?

He found himself smiling at the idea of seeing this.

Soon the bride and groom, along with the wedding party, headed back inside for some pictures before the party.

Someone was taking orders and writing them down for when Alexia returned to the cafe. Joe sat on the couch in the cafe, waiting for Alexia to return. He wanted to order from her, not the other girl.

When Alexia returned, she rushed to get to work on all the drinks. Putting her apron on, she got to work. Joe saw that she worked hard on focusing. She worked hard and fast.

He stepped up and waited for her to finish and notice him. When she finally did, she smiled at him. "Hey there Joe. Did you want something to drink?" She asked her. "What is in the special drink?" He asked.

"It's a white chocolate mocha with caramel. It can be hot, over ice, or as a frappe." She told him. "What do you like to make?" He asked. She pursed her lips looking away as she thought about it. He wondered if she knew how tempting it was to kiss her when she did this.

"They say my peppermint mochas are good. But I don't like espressos, so if I drink a hot drink, I make a peppermint hot chocolate." She told him. "Why don't you make me one of either drink. Surprise me, and make it a large." He told her with a wink.

She smiled and tapped it into the iPad register. He handed her a ten, and put the change into the tip jar. He watched as she made his drink, and put a M on his whipped cream to signalize the first letter of the bride and grooms last name.

He smiled and thanked her for the drink before taking a sip. It was good, which he told her.

She went back to making different drinks. Joe sat and watched her. He couldn't help it. This was his new obsession.
