As Luffy, Yosaku and Sanji were eating their food. Luffy reached over a grabbed a piece off from Johnny's plate. Johnny said something but his mouth was full of food.

"What are ya trying to say?" Luffy asked Yosaku. "Spit it out already."

"I'm trying to say that's mine!" Yosaku said.

"Oh really? And who decided that?" Luffy argued.

"I did! I put it on my plate, it's mine. That's how it works!" the bounty hunter shouted.

"I don't see your name on it anywhere!" Luffy shouted.

"I was saving it for last! What's wrong with that!?" Yosaku exclaimed.

"Okay, sorry! How about you eat this thing instead?" Luffy said, handing out a bone to him. The meat had already been eaten off from it.

"I wouldn't feed that slop to my dog!" Yosaku shouted.

"Quiet! There's something down there," Sanji shouted at the two. He was looking over the side of the boat. A giant shadow was swimming in the water beside them. "It's big."

Suddenly, something burst out from the water, revealing itself to be a giant sea cow. It towered over the small boat, looking down at Sanji, Luffy, and Yosaku.

"What the hell is that?" Luffy asked.

"Sea monster!" Yosaku exclaimed.

"It's a cow!" Luffy said in awe.

"Not a cow, they don't swim. A hippo?" Sanji said, correcting him.

"Whatever it is, it's from the Grand Line! What is it doing all the way out here?!" Yosaku shouted.

"Why is he staring at us?" Luffy asked, seeing that the creature was looking at them with a strange look in it's eyes. Yosaku looked down to where the sea cow was looking at.

"It wants the food!" he shouted.

"What?!" Luffy exclaimed.

"Quick, give it to him before he sinks the ship!" Yosaku shouted. The sea cow leaned in closer towards the boat trying to get to the food. Luffy threw his fist back.

"Gum Gum pistol!" He smashed his fist against the creature's face, knocking it back. "Bad sea cow! Stay away from our food!"

"Yes! You knocked it out!" Yosaku cheered. The sea cow came back up from the water, letting out an angry roar, glaring at the group. "Oh crap! You made it mad!"

"You back for more!?" Luffy shouted, ready to throw another punch. Sanji kicked him, knocking him down.

"Dumb ass! There's no reason to punch this poor hungry hippo!" he shouted. He walked over the table and picked up a plate with a giant piece of meat on it. "She's probably just a baby and catch food for herself yet. Huh, is that right?"

"You're insane." Yosaku replied. Sanji held out the plate towards the sea creature. The creature stared at him, hesitantly.

"Here you go, eat up. Don't be scared I won't hit you." Sanji reassured it. The cow leaned in closer towards the boat, to Sanji, and opened it's mouth. Sanji quickly threw back his leg and kicked the sea creature, knocking it away from the boat.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Yosaku exclaimed.

"It was going to eat me along with the plate. What could I do?" Sanji replied. The sea cow charged towards the boat, enraged.

"Heads up!" Yosaku shouted. Sanji stood in front of Luffy and Yosaku, stopping the straw hat captain.

"Stand back, this is my share." Sanji jumped into the air and kicked the sea cow in the face, knocking it out. It crashed into the water and Sanji landed back on the boat. "That's that."

"Yes! Back to the food!" Luffy shouted, happily, turning back towards the table and started eating again. Sanji sat down, taking a drink from his wine.

"That was refreshing!"

Yosaku stared at the two with an shocked look on his face.

"You guys are insane, seriously."

Usopp groaned as he slowly opened his eyes, blinking them. He sat up from the floor rubbing his head. "Where am i?!" Usopp said, looking around. "My house." He heard a voice said from behind. He turned around to see the woman with blue hair, sitting down at the table, looking down at him.

"Sleep well?"

"Who are you?" Usopp asked.

"I'm Nojiko, I grow tangerines here. Want one?" she said as she introduced herself to him.

"Wait a minute! You're the one who hit me on the head! Just when I was going to save you!" Usopp shouted, angrily.

"I'm the one who saved you." Usopp's eyes widen and blinked in confusion. "Huh?"

"If you had actually gone through with attacking that fishman, you would have been killed for sure, you stupid outsider." she explained to him as Usopp walked over taking a seat next to her at the table, listening. "I figured that if you're from here, you would actually know that. What would make a child do something so reckless? That's a question that I really would like answer for." Nojiko looked up and right across the table from the two was the little boy.

"I know! I know! But they killed my daddy! They took everything from me!" the boy cried. "Those fishman destroyed my town, killed my friends! I had to make them pay for what they did, no matter what! Don't you get that? So, I went to Arlong Park by myself but this girl stopped me from going in! She's like an evil witch! I can't stand it! I have to avenge my father! I don't care if I die!"

"Then die." Nojiko said, standing up, walking away from the table. "If you're truly prepared to die, then go. But, you had better understand, boy. I stopped you and this witch you hate kept you from caring your revenge. So far you cheated death twice. Just finish your tea and go."

"Hey, you're being a little rough on him, don't you think?" Usopp asked, looking at her.

"I don't care who he his. If he wants to kill himself, then so be it! He doesn't have what it takes to suffer for revenge."

"What?" Usopp questioned. What did she mean by that?

"It takes time. I have suffered as well. Revenge is not an easy path for one to take. And to die just because you're too foolish for patience is nothing but a cowards play."

"W-What do you want from me?! I can't stand the way I feel but I don't know what I can do!" the little boy shouted.

"How's your mom?" Nojiko asked him.

"She's alive." the boy replied.

"Then go back home. She's worried about you." Nojiko smiled.

"Okay..." the boy nodded his head and left. Nojiko watched him from the window as he did. Usopp smiled as he leaned back in the chair.

"For a chick with tattoos, you're actually really sweet." he said.

"Piss off!" Nojiko scoffed at him then turned her head back towards him. "It's time you told me why you decided to come to our village."

"Oh right, my name is Captain Usopp. I am looking for a girl named Nami-" Usopp started out before he was cut off.

"Nami?!" Nojiko said in disbelief.

"You know her?" Usopp asked.

"Yep, she's part of Arlong's crew." Nojiko told him. Usopp's eyes widened in shock.

"NO WAY! SHE'S APART OF THE ARLONG CREW?!" he exclaimed.

"It certainly looks that way. Everyone here knows that cow even the little boy. And it gets even better, that cow is my sister. We grew up here. Well, technically, she's my adopted sister, since we were both orphans. But a sister is a sister, you know what I mean?" Nojiko told him as she finished explaining.

"I don't believe it! this is Nami's house!?" Usopp said in surprise, looking around.

"It's mine too. We were raised together in this house. She's the closest thing that I have to family I have left since our foster mother died." Nojiko explained to him. "The three of us used to be so happy together in Cocoyashi village."

"So, you're telling me that Nami betrayed her mother, her sister, and her whole village just to be apart of Arlong's crew?" Usopp asked.

"Yeah, pretty much. A real witch, huh?" Nojiko replied.

"Damn! Nami is a total witch! She had us all completely fooled the entire time!" Usopp shouted in disbelief. "To think she was just after treasure for herself even after she risked her life to save my village! I don't understand. She seemed so happy with us!"

"Yeah? She was happy? Huh, my sister?" Nojiko questioned him, surprised by what Usopp had told her.

"We came here to try to convince her to come back with us. But, I guess not." Usopp said before realizing something. Zoro...Zoro! He forgot about him! "I just remembered that I shipmate of mine was just taken prisoner by fishermen before we got here! Oh, I'm in trouble! I hope he's okay! I hope he's at least not dead!"

Then Ayah flashed into his mind. Where was she?! Was she okay?! "And there was another friend of mine as well. She got separated from us! I need to find her as well!"

"I guess you finally get it. I just used you guys to get what I wanted. It was nice of you to come to my need, but, boy were you a bunch of suckers!" Nami smirked.

"She had you guys completely fooled! It's no use. She's cold blooded. She betrayed her family for money, so you really shouldn't feel too bad!" Arlong laughed. "If I were you, I would just admit defeat. Forget that you ever met her." Nami tensed up and Zoro noticed and saw that she had a strange look in her eyes.

"I don't need to. Because I never saw anything in her to be trusted in the first place. If she turned out to be a serial killer, I wouldn't be surprised." the swordsman said.

"Fine, then why don't you just get the hell out of here! I'm tired of your face!" Nami shouted. Zoro stared at her for a minute, before he smirked. He leaned back and jumped right into the pool. Nami stared with wide eyes in shock.

"Why did he just jump into the water?" one of the fishmen asked.

"It looks to me like he was just trying to get away from Nami!" Another shouted.

"I don't blame him. She can be really mean sometimes!" Another one said as well.

"He's probably trying to escape!" A fishman pointed out.

"With his arms and legs are tied up? I got to say that looked more like a suicide attempt to me!" Another one shouted.

"Leave him." Arlong said. Nami gritted her teeth and dived right in after him. That idiot!

"She saved him!" A fishman exclaimed as Nami came out of the water, pulling Zoro out as well, from out of the pool.

"What do you think you're doing?!" Nami hissed at him.

"No, what do you think you're doing?" Zoro coughed before smirking up at her. "You're really just a nice girl, who can't watch one guy die. Why don't you quit pretending? Maybe, be a little more quicker next time? I thought that I was dead!"

"Bastard!" Nami shouted angrily. She kicked Zoro hard on his wounded chest, making the swordsman cry out, painfully. "Try that again and I'll make sure you die!"

"Really?" Zoro smirked, asking her. Nami held him up.

"That's a lot of bandages. You must have been hurt pretty bad." she said.

"Actually I forgot my shirt and grabbed these so it wouldn't distract you." Zoro said to her. Nami scoffed and threw him down on the ground.

"Tell me, what should we do with this guy?" A fishman asked.

"Lock him up. I'll take care of him when I have the time." Nami said, walking away. However, just as she was leaving another fishman came running into the compound, busting through the doors.

"Arlong! Hey, Arlong!" he shouted, panicking.

"Yeah? Well, spit it out!" Arlong said.

"Yes, sir!. This guy didn't come here alone. There was another long nosed weird looking guy with him but he got away!" he told Arlong. Zoro gritted his teeth. What the hell, usopp!? He left me for dead and got spotted anyway!

"I-I think he escaped into Cocoyashi village!" the fishman explained.

"Cocoyashi, huh? That's perfect. Now, I have two reasons to go. It's time to go have some fun!" Arlong made an sickening smirk. "But, that's not all..."

"What is it now?" Arlong questioned.

"Several of our men,...they were found knocked out and completely beaten up." Arlong's eyes widen in shock as did Nami's and Zoro's. Did Usopp do this? No, he was a coward who would run away at the sight of danger. But, who...

"There was a note left behind. It was addressed for you."

"Give it here!" Arlong demanded, ripping it out of the fishman's hand.

"If you are reading this note then you must have seen what I've done to your crew. Did I piss you of? I hope I did! Because you are next!" Arlong read the note out loud and the end there was a smiley face with it's tongue sticking out. He growled, clenching his fist, crumpling the paper in his hand. "Whoever did this is going to pay!" Zoro and Nami knew who had done it. There was only one person reckless enough who could...it was Aya!

Zoro gritted his teeth, irritated. Damn it, Aya!

"Hey, Arlong's coming!" A villager shouted as they saw Arlong and his pirate crew were heading towards the village.

"He is?! But why? We just paid him this months tribute, didn't we?!" one shouted.

"It's probably about the weapons I've been selling. Everyone to home." A man said, who was wearing a military style uniform and there was a pinwheel in his hat.

"Genso."

"T-They're here!" A villager called out nervously. They watched as the pirates advanced towards them, nervous and scared, until Arlong stopped right in front of Genso.

"So you're the fool who thought that he could hoard weapons on my island?" Arlong asked him.

"That's me, I'm a collector." Genso told him. "Is there a new law that forbids us from having hobbies now? Next, you'll be telling us that we can't read books or play with our children anymore."

"No, hobbies are fine. It would be weapons that are forbidden. They make it difficult for me and my men to keep the peace." Arlong smirked. Not too far off, Nojiko and Usopp were watching as they hid behind a couple of houses.

"That's him?! Arlong's gigantic! He's not even human!" Usopp exclaimed, nervously.

"Nope, he's a fishman." Nojiko said.

"For real?" Usopp gulped.

"I'm responsible for twenty towns and villages, including this one. And as your leader, I cannot tolerate even a little of rebellion. Wiping out Gosa was just a small example of what will happen if you don't do as you are told. Tribute money must be paid no matter what!" Arlong shouted.

"Tribute money?" Usopp asked.

"It's just what he said, money that we pay him so that we can stay alive. Adults and children, if there is even a single person who can't pay then what happened to Gosa will happen to everyone in this village as well. Our town and the people in it, will be wiped from existence." Nojiko explained to him.

Usopp's eyes widened in shock. "He destroyed an entire town because of one person?!"

"That's how it is. To them we're nothing but subspecies, so killing us has always been easy."

"You pathetic humans need to stop with all this thinking you're up to! It's you're greatest weakness. I'm allowing you contribute to greatness here! Soon, fishmen will conquer this area and your tribute will be a small part of the beginning of the glorious Arlong empire!" Arlong declared.

"Arlong empire?! They're planning on taking over the entire East Blue!" Usopp exclaimed, shocked.

Back at Arlong Park, Nami quietly headed towards the holding cells where Zoro was. A fishmen who was guarding the door nearby watched her as she went inside. Zoro looked up as he heard Nami walk in, and glared at her as she stood in front of him. Nami pulled out a knife and brought it down on the swordsman. However, she cut the ropes instead, freeing him. Zoro looked up at her confused and stood up, rubbing his wrists. Nami tossed Zoro's swords to him as they landed near his feet.

"Get out of here quick. Arlong's going to be back soon." Nami said to him as she turned her back then left, leaving him alone.

Arlong grabbed Genso and raised him up in the air, ready to strike him down.

"Genso!" A villager cried out.

"The procession of weapons is a clear affront to my authority. As an example to any would be rebels in this town, I am going to kill you right now, so they can see the fate that waits them!" Arlong stated.

"No way! That guy's insane! He'll just kill him for just having a weapon?!" Usopp said in disbelief.

"I won't let him!" Nojiko shouted, running out from her hiding spot. Usopp tried to stop her.

"Hey, wait! Don't go out there!"

"You have absolutely no right to do this, Arlong!" Nojiko shouted at the fishman pirate captain. "We paid your tribute for over eight years. Why would we rebel against you now? Just think about it! It makes no sense!" Several villagers came out from their homes, heading over to the group. "Now take your hands of Genso!"

"Yeah, it's not like he used the weapons!" a villager pitched in.

"That's right! Let him go!" Another shouted.

"Yeah, let Genso go!" Another one exclaimed.

"Hoarding weapons shows that he was planning a rebellion against me. But, on the other hand, I could just destroy you all. Trying to protect your friend and you give me any excuse to do that. Either way is fine, but rebellions will not be tolerated!" Arlong said.

"Everyone just go home. Do you want to waste all of our work over the past eight years? For what? The time for you to give your lives to this village was back when they first came. Now, we must continue to be patient. The most important thing that we must do is to continue to live. We swore that we would not let them defeat us as long as we're alive." Genso told them.

"Genso."

"Well said! I agree with you! It's good to know that even disgusting insects like you enjoy being alive!" Arlong smirked. "There is no way any one of you will come close to the perfection of fishmen!" He slammed Genso roughly on the ground.

"Damn you!" A villager shouted about to charge in. But, Genso stopped him.

"Don't move!" he shouted. "He wants you to attack!"

"We can't just stand here!" the villager argued.

"Your deaths will mean nothing! You must continue to be patient even if I die." Genso told him.

"That's a good ending for you," Arlong laughed and picked Genso up, getting ready to finish him off. "Pay close attention, humans! This is what happens to those who defy me!"

Suddenly, a giant rock came flying past the crowd and smashed right into Arlong, knocking him away from the man, making Arlong drop Genso. Several fishmen came rushing over to their captain in shock. "Arlong!" The villagers and Nojiko were surprised as well. Usopp tensed up from behind the building, seeing what had happen. Arlong growled and he sat up looking around.

"WHO DID THAT?!" he demanded as he roared out, angrily.

"I did." Everyone turned their heads and Usopp's mouth dropped a little in shock as well as worried. Aya was standing before the crowd, smirking. "I guess you found my note. Did you like your present that I left you?" Arlong growled as he narrowed his eyes and glared at her as he got up. Usopp clenched the side of the building, scared. No! He had to do something! Why does she always get in these situations and make him do these things!?

Just as Arlong was about to step towards her, Usopp fired a pellet at him. "Exploding star!" It exploded in contact with him.

"W-What was that?!" A fishman exclaimed. He looked up and saw Usopp standing on top of the building. "Up there! Look! There's someone on the roof!"

"Who the hell is that guy?" Arlong growled. Where were all of these pests coming from!?

"I am the great warrior of the sea, Captain Usopp! Also known as the demon king Usopp, infamous, by almost half the world! I command thousands of men, loyal and vicious!" Usopp shouted, while his legs were shaking. He was going to die!

"That's the guy I told you about! The one with the long nose, who got away!" A fishman pointed him out to Arlong.

"Bring on your thousands of men. I'll crush them one by one!" Arlong growled at Usopp. Usopp backed away a little in surprise as well terrified.

"The exploding star did nothing and now he's pissed!" he hissed to himself.

"Repulsive humans!" Arlong roared out loud. "WHAT CAN A CREATURE LIKE YOU DO TO ME?!"

"Usopp! What were you thinking?!" Aya shouted at the sniper.

"What was I thinking?! What were YOU thinking, Aya?!" Usopp shouted back at her from the roof. "You pissed him off and now he's going to kill us!"

"ENOUGH OF THIS!" Arlong shouted, angrily. Usopp and Aya stopped and turned to him. Several of the fishmen tried to hold him back, struggling to do so.

"Arlong hold on just a second!"

"After losing Gosa, we cannot afford to cut off any tribute money!"

"If we lose some, we can always get more!" Arlong told them as he broke free from the hold on him. He stormed over to the building that Usopp was on, gripping the bottom of it. "Fishmen will reign supreme!" He ripped the building from out of the ground and tossed it right at Aya. She ran as it came flying towards her, jumping out of the way until it crashed on the ground, completely demolished.

"He destroyed it all!" A villager exclaimed.

"Usopp!" Aya called out "Are you okay? Say something!"

"A-Am I dead, yet?" Usopp said as he crawled out from under the rubble still dazed. She ran over to him, helping him out. "Come on! Get up!"

"They're not dead! Get them!" A fishman shouted, seeing the two. Usopp screamed and grabbed Aya by her wrist pulling her with him as they ran.

"Capture them and tear them apart!" Arlong shouted in a blind frenzy. It took a couple of his crew to hold him down.

"Let's go back to Arlong Park before he destroys everything!" one suggested as they began to drag Arlong away from the village, who was still trying to break free from them. "Don't let them get away!"

"We'll be back. You can all live for now." one of Arlong's commanders told the villagers as he followed after them.

"I'm so sorry everybody. This is all my fault." Genso said as the doctor began to check him over.

"What are you talking about? You're not a fishman are you?" he replied to Genso.

"But, who was that guy who attacked?" one of the villagers asked. "And that girl? I can't believe that she actually challenged Arlong!"

"Hello everyone! It's good to be back home!" Nami called out as she headed over to them. The villagers glared at her as she approached them before walking away heading back into their homes.

"Nami!" Nojiko said, surprised to see her. "What's wrong? You never come walking through Cocoyashi anymore."

"I heard quite a commotion. Arlong, huh?" Nami pointed out to the toppled and destroyed house.

Nami and Nojiko headed back to their house and Nami was sitting down in front of a grave that was by the edge of a cliff. "I only have to get seven million more belis." she murmured. Nojiko was standing behind her.

"Your already bad reputation just keeps getting worse." she told Nami.

"That's fine. I am a pirate." Nami said to her. "Arlong can be a very reasonable guy when he wants to. I just need a little more money to finish our agreement. Just seven million beli shy of the one hundred million goal. You know, it's really not that high of a price considering it's going to help buy back our village!" She finished with a big grin on her face.

Back at Arlong Park, there were defeated fishmen scattered around. Zoro was resting leaning back in Arlong's chair. "She tells me to run, but I don't know where else to go but here." he murmured to himself. "Besides, I promised Luffy that I would bring her back with me. I wonder what's he up to? Thing's are getting messy around here."

Not too far away from the island, the sea cow was pulling the small boat, with Sanji, Luffy and Yosaku on it. Luffy grinned, excitedly, leaning over the bow of the boat.

"Yeah! Let's Go! Go faster!" He shouted.

"There it is! Arlong Park is dead ahead!" Yosaku shouted.

"Right! Next stop, Arlong Park!"
