"You can't be serious!?" Zoro shouted in disbelief.

"But, Nami wouldn't do that," Aya replied, confused. Had she been wrong about her? She did assume that Nami was a snake when she first met her when she noticed that Nami was getting a little too close to Luffy. Her brother was completely oblivious to it, of course. But, as she got to know her, Aya began to warm up to her a little. It was nice having another girl around to talk with. Aya shook her head in disbelief, looking at Johnny. "You're wrong. Usopp is not dead."

"I'm telling you, it's true. She was a traitor all along. She's been winning Arlong's favor so she can have the treasure buried under Cocoyashi village all to herself! That woman is just a cold blooded killer. She won't stop until she gets what she wants. Nami had us fooled the entire time!-" Johnny explained as he told them.

"Quiet! Say another word and you'll regret it!" Luffy shouted as he grabbed him, shaking him angrily.

"Easy Luffy, this has nothing to do with Johnny." Zoro said.

"Go on believe whatever you want. But, I know what I saw, Nami killed big bro Usopp!" Johnny shouted.

"Shut your mouth!" Luffy yelled. "Never in a million years would Nami kill Usopp! She wouldn't do that to her friends!"

"But, but, but, I saw it!" Johhny sputtered.

"What was that about friends, Luffy?" Everyone heard Nami's voice behind them. They turned around and saw her standing right in front of them, holding her staff in her hand. Then Aya noticed something strange, seeing Nami was wearing only one glove on her hand. Why, though? She wondered to herself.

"Nami!" Luffy smiled.

"What are you doing here?" Nami asked him.

"What are we doing here? You're our friend, we came to get you." Luffy told her.

"What a pest." Nami chuckled.

"Nami?" Luffy questioned.

"Friends, huh? Don't make me laugh. You're just pathetic enough to deserve each other." Nami said.

"Damn you! You killed him! I watched you do it!" Johnny shouted at her, angrily. "And now, but bro Usopp is gone!"

"Yep, that's right. So, why don't you kill me and get your revenge?" Nami replied. "Word to the wise, fellas. Because of your friend's stupidity, Arlong's preparing to kill Zoro along with his entire crew. And I don't care how monstrously strong you guys think you are, you're no match for the real monsters. I promise you, if you stay on this island, you will die. So, you have a choice to make between life and death."

"Her heartless face is so hot! Hi, Nami! It's me, Sanji! Let's run away together!" Sanji smiled.

"Can it, Romeo, this isn't the time or the place for that!" Zoro hissed.

"Excuse me, love is like a hurricane, so back off! Hey, look at me when I'm talking to you!" Sanji frowned and glared at him.

"Nami, where is Usopp!?" Zoro demanded.

"With the fishes." Nami smirked.

"Damn it! Cut the crap!" Zoro shouted. He was about to lunge at her, but, Sanji jumped in front of him, stopping Zoro from attacking Nami. "How sad, a swordsman striking a lady."

"Idiot! Can't you see what's happening here? You're starting to piss me off!" Zoro growled.

"If someone had stopped me that easily, I'd be mad too." Sanji retorted.

"What?! You better watch your mouth!" Zoro shouted.

"I'll say whatever I want, bastard!" Sanji argued back.

"Big bros, we're all in this together! This is no time to fight!" Yosaku exclaimed.

"Your pal's, right. Now, quit your bickering and leave while you still can." Nami said. "You outsiders have no right to butt into this island's affairs. Don't you get it yet? The only reason that I got close to you idiots, was so that I could rob you of everything you had. But, now that you're broke, it looks like the dream's dead. So, go and take your ship and find a navigator dumb enough to join you and go to the Grand Line. Continue on your quest to find the One Piece of whatever. Just leave here, you're an eyesore!"

"Nami..." Luffy stared at her in shock. He leaned back, calling onto the ground.

"Big bro Luffy!" Yosaku exclaimed.

"Sleepy." Luffy replied.

"Sleep?!" Yosaku exclaimed in disbelief.

"At a time like this in the middle of the road?!" Johnny shouted as well.

"Well, I'm pretty tired. I'm not going to butt into her affairs. I'm not interested. But, I'm not leaving either. Night!" Luffy replied before falling asleep.

"Huh?!" Johnny shouted.

"Big bro?" Yosaku asked.

Nami gritted her teeth, gripping her staff tightly in her hand. "Fine," she said angrily. "WHATEVER, JUST GO AHEAD AND DIE!" and she ran off, leaving the group to themselves.

"Nami!" Sanji called out to her.

The group were quiet, neither saying a word, trying to process what Nami had said to them. Yosaku walked over to Zoro, who was sitting down near Luffy who was still napping in the middle of the road.

"Hey big bro Zoro, what on earth on you thinking? Come on!" he said to the swordsman.

"Did you forget that Arlong is out to kill us? We should be running away!" Johnny shouted.

"Now that we know what Nami is really like, there isn't a single good reason why should stay on this island!" Yosaku agreed.

"My reason for staying here is there." Zoro gestured over to Luffy, who was still napping on the ground. "I'm staying cause he's staying."

"Don't be stupid big bro Zoro. Are you saying that you want to bring her back too?" Yosaku questioned him.

"What I want has nothing to do with this. I don't decide who the navigator is, he does." Zoro explained to the two bounty hunters.

"Right, understood, you're not leaving. Sorry to cut our reunion short but I won't stay." Johnny told him.

"Yeah, I'm with him. I don't want to deliberately get myself killed!" Yosaku said, as well.

"Fine, I'll see you around." Zoro told them.

"Until we meet again, big bro!" Yosaku waved as Johnny and him left.

"Take care, you guys!" Johnny told the group.

"You too." Zoro replied, telling them goodbye.

"Hey, well, what do you think it is? Why was she crying?" Sanji asked.

"I don't know, was she crying?" Zoro asked, confused.

"She was in her heart." Sanji said.

"If there were, there were tears of guilt for killing Usopp." Zoro commented.

"No, are you serious? You really are dense." Sanji frowned. "Do you still honestly believe that Nami could've killed Usopp?"

"So Nami didn't kill him, is that what you're saying?" Zoro asked.

"Am I wrong?"

"Well, who knows. I always thought of her as a small time crook who wouldn't even watch a guy die did let alone kill him. But, maybe she just snapped." the swordsman commented.

"Wait, what did you just say?! She's not small timed!" Sanji exclaimed. Just as the two were about to attack each other, a person wearing a cloak ran right in between them. It was Usopp!

Sanji had kicked him in the face, while Zoro smacked him with the hilt of his sword, accidentally, knocking him out. He collapsed on the ground in front of them.

"Usopp!?" Aya shouted, surprised, and relieved to see him as well.

"He's alive!" Sanji exclaimed in shock.

"Well, he was. I hope he still is." Zoro cringed.

"Why did you do that?!" Aya shouted at the two.

"He started it!" Zoro told her.

"I did not, you stupid moss head!" Sanji shouted at him.

"What did you call me?!" Zoro growled, ready to butt heads again.

"Will you two just stop!?" Aya shouted at them. Luffy yawned loudly, waking up from his nap, hearing the shouting. "Will you guys, shut up-" His eyes widen when he saw Usopp lying motionlessly on the ground.

"USOPP! DID NAMI DO THIS TO YOU?!" Luffy exclaimed in shock and horror as he held Usopp in his arms. The sniper's face was swelled up and beaten.

"Sorry, Zoro and I did that." Sanji, smiled sheepishly.

"No, you did!" Zoro quickly dismissed.

"Luffy, you're here now!" Usopp said happy to see him. Was he dreaming?

"Yep, sure am!" Luffy grinned.

"So am I!" Aya smiled, looking down at him. "I'm glad to see that you're alright!" If she's here and this is a dream, he never wanted to wake up from it.

"I'm here too! Hi, there!" Sanji smiled as he waved at him. Nope, it was a nightmare! Usopp glared at him and Zoro.

"One of these days, I'll kill you!" He shouted, angrily.

"Well, look at that, you just made a full recovery!" Sanji grinned as he patted Usopp on his shoulder.

"Shut up!" Usopp shouted at him.

"Oh, by the way, we kind of heard that you were dead, killed by Nami." Zoro pointed out to him.

"Stupid, Johnny! He was spouting nonsense that entire time!" Luffy shouted.

"Well, in a way it is the truth. But, I'm alive because you see she actually saved my life." Usopp explained to the group.

"What do you mean?" Aya asked.

As Nojiko was tending to the tangerine trees, she wiped the sweat from her face. She started to head back to the house until she heard a loud crash coming from inside. Nojiko ran inside and was surprised to see that it was Nami, who was sitting down in the chair at the table. In front of of her, was a drawn map of the entire island. She leaned over it with her head in her hands, one of them was bandaged. The whole kitchen was a mess, items thrown about and broken glass scattered everywhere all over the floor.

"Geez, Nami, you sure know know to trash the place." Nojiko replied. "Hey, what's wrong?"

"Nothing. I'm just a little that's all." Nami said to her.

"You mean to tell me that pouring over a treasure map after wrecking the house is how you relax?" Nojiko asked. "You're not fooling me. Now, fess up already. What's bothering you?"

"Something happened to make me mad, it's nothing." Nami replied.

"Those guys, who are they?" Nami's sister asked her.

"You met them!?" Nami shouted, surprise.

"Yeah, I met some "captain" guy? He seemed kind of liarish though." She told Nami as she explained to her. "Nami, I heard that you smiled with them. We both know that's rare for you. As a matter of fact, I haven't seen you smile in years. Come on, tell me who these guys are! It's okay, you can tell me anything, remember?"

"I planned to forget about them. I thought that I could just erase them from my mind. But, the more that I tried to erase them, the more I remembered. The truth is, when was with them, the only thing I forgot about was the payment. If it were possible, I'd join up with those guys and sail around the world." Nami fell asleep on the table, while Nojiko thought about what she had told her.

Now, I see. Yeah, that was her heart. To think that someone actually showed up for her. Friends.

"That word means pain. It breaks her heart."

"So that's it, that's how Nami intended to kill me and make sure that I could escape from Arlong Park. Looks to me, like she's got some sort of hidden motive for hanging up with a bunch of renegade fishmen." Usopp finished as he explained to the group. Nami had stabbed herself in the hand to make it look like she had stabbed him instead and told Usopp to play along so he could escape.

"Obviously." Sanji replied.

"Fine, what's next? Are we going to destroy Arlong Park?" Zoro asked Luffy.

"Whoa, hang on just a second! Don't you think we better find out what's going on with Nami, first?!" Usopp shouted.

"It's no use either way." The five heard Nojiko's voice spoke to them. "No matter what you guys do, Arlong's rule won't come to an end."

"Nojiko!" Usopp exclaimed.

"Who's she?" Aya asked him.

"Nami's big sister." Usopp said.

"Nami's sister?! No wonder she's so hot!" Sanji exclaimed.

"What do you mean that it's no use?" Zoro questioned.

"Just trust me, don't get yourselves involved in what's going on here and leave poor Nami alone. I will explain the situation." Nojiko told them.

"Situation?" Aya asked.

"You mean, you're going to tell us why she joined up with Arlong's group?" Usopp asked as well.

"Yeah, and if that doesn't get you to leave, I don't know what will." Nojiko replied.

"Okay, so tell us all about it." Usopp said. "I got to admit, I'm curious."

"I'll pass." Luffy replied as he walked away.

"Hey, wait!" Usopp called out.

"I don't care about her past." Luffy replied.

"Where are you going, Luffy?" Zoro asked.

"For a walk!" the straw hat captain answered.

"A walk?! You mean you're not going to listen to this!" Usopp shouted in disbelief.

"Nope."

"Who's he?" Nojiko asked as she watched Luffy leave.

"Don't mind him, that's just how he is." Zoro told her. "We'll hear you out, but, I can tell you right now I don't think it's going to change anything."

"Well, I'll listen too. It might help make some sense out of everything's that's going on around here." Usopp said.

"Me too! I want to know all about her!" Sanji said, happily. The group heard snoring to the side and looked to see Zoro ha d fallen asleep.

"He's asleep." Nojiko said in disbelief.

"Hey, you said that you'd hear her out!" Sanji shouted, angrily, at the swordsman.

"I see, this is why it was hard for her." Nojiko smiled softly at the group.

"Look! There's a Marine ship at the shore! It's branch 16's ship! Maybe, headquarters has finally taken action." One of the villagers shouted as a Marine ship docked by the docks. Several others, including Genso, watched as they saw the rat faced colonel and his soldiers walk down to them.

"I am Colonel Nezumi of branch 16." the colonel addressed himself. "Now then, Genso, please step up and make it snappy!"

"Yes, colonel. I'm the one that you're looking for." Genso told hm.

"You, huh? Take me to Nami's house at once!" The colonel ordered him.

"Nami? But, why? I don't understand what's going on, colonel." Genso questioned, confused. The colonel made a sickening smirk.

"Lead the way. That is all you need to do." He told him. Quietly, Genso, calmly, lead the colonel and his soldiers as they headed over to Nami and Nojiko's house.
