So, what do you guys think! Isn't this an exciting game? I can't wait to see how it ends. Who will die first? You or that rubber man?" Arlong laughed.
"This is bad, Johnny! Luffy's totally trapped down there!" Yosaku shouted.
"Big bro Luffy!" Johnny cried out.
"I'll beat his ass real quick and then come save you, Luffy!" Zoro growled.
"You bastard! My hair!" Hatchi shouted, furious. "But, it's okay, it's only hair. It'll grow back. Now Zoro, you can't beat me! I have six hands that will mesmerize you!"
"Shut up!" Zoro shouted.
"Triple Sword Catch! You will see my skills!" Hatchi shouted as Zoro launched his attack, bringing his swords right down on the octopus. The o octopus tried to catch Zoro's sword with his hands, but missed. Zoro slashed straight down, slicing the fisherman's hands. "That hurt!"
"I don't have time for this crap!" Zoro gritted his teeth, irritated. Sanji and Aya glanced over at the swordsman with worried looks in their eyes.
Is he still hurt? Sanji thought to himself as he continued to fight against one of Arlong's commanders.
"Not real smart to take your eyes off of me!" the fishman shouted. He charged at Sanji, quickly snapping the cook of his thoughts. Sanji parried the fishman's attack with his leg.
"I bet you taste good with butter!" Sanji shouted back at him.
Aya charged at Arlong throwing a fist at him. Arlong dodged it and quickly reached out grabbing Aya by her neck, lifting her up.
"Where were those tough words earlier?" He smirked. "You humans are all the same, all talk and no bite!" Arlong boasted as he laughed out loud. He immediately stopped, his smirk dropping a little as his eyes widen a little in surprise, seeing Aya's pirate medallion around her neck.
"Impossible! How did such a weak and pathetic human like you get one of the keys to the One Piece!?" He exclaimed.
"She has what?!" Arlong's commander shouted out, shocked as well. Sanji took the chance to kick him.
"Damn it! Couldn't you hidden that thing better!?" Zoro shouted, as he struggled against Hatchi.
While Arlong was distracted, Aya quickly flipped, kicking Arlong right in the face, making him release her.
"If you beat me then you can have it," she smirked. "But, that's not going to happen." Arlong growled as he wiped his mouth with his hand, glaring at her.
"Why don't you die!" Zoro shouted at the octopus fishman who continued to dodge his attacks, like it was a game. Then Hatchi jumped in the air and attached himself onto the pillar with his suckers. He looked down at the swordsman, with a smug smirk.
"Too bad! Hatchan suckers!" He snickered before stopping. "I'm stuck."
"Don't just stick there! Get down here and fight!" Zoro shouted, getting more annoyed at the fishman. "Damn coward!"
"Stupid octopus, he's just trying to waste our time!" Johnny said, gritting his teeth.
"But, if we try to save Luffy now they'll just drag us to the bottom to the sea and we'll drown!" Yosaku reminded.
"But, if we sit here and do nothing then Luffy drowns for sure!" Johnny finished, looking over at the water, worried. "We gotta think of a way to help them!"
"Yeah!" Yosaku agreed. Genso stepped over to the two bounty hunters.
"What good are the two of you going to do when you both can barely walk?" He replied, patting the two on their backs. Johnny and Yosaku both yelped in pain. "If you're trying to think of a way to save that young man, then I should be the one to volunteer ahead of you."
"You'll save him!?" Johnny asked, surprised.
"His survival is the key to our winning. If we don't save him, we will certainly lose, wouldn't you agree?" Genso answered.
"Genso, I'm coming with you!" one of the villagers volunteered.
"Let's do it!" Another one agreed. Genso shook his head.
"I'm going alone. The fishmen will suspect that we're up to something if we go with such a large crowd and I fear doing so might do more harm than good." He explained to them.
"But, we can help you!" one of the villagers argued.
"Not another word about it. There's no point endangering more people than we have to. I must go in alone. If that's okay, well, boys?" Genso said, turning to the two bounty hunters.
"Yes! Thank you!" Johnny nodded.
"We're counting on you. But, please, hurry!" Yosaku cried.
"Hold on! Genso, I'm going too!" Nojiko said.
"Nojiko, you're hurt!" Genso shook his head.
"You're not going to leave me out of this when those guys are fighting for my sister's life. You can't!" She insisted.
"Fine." Genso nodded, softly. He and Nojiko took off heading to the other side of the compound, so they wouldn't be noticed by the fishmen. "Come on, we have to hurry!"
"Right!"
"Bastard fishman!" Zoro growled. He slashed his sword at the octopus fishman who was still dodging his attacks.
"Hey I have a question that I've been meaning to ask you, Zoro. You're famous for your three sword technique, so why are you only using one?" Hatchi questioned.
"You're running scared with one, why would I need three?" Zoro retorted.
"Shut up! I've just been playing around with you," Hatchi shouted. "Actually humans can't defeat me. I can tell you one but I think it'll be more fun to show you! Yeah, I like that! If you're really good, you'll enjoy it a lot too!" Zoro felt his eyes starting to get heavier and his body felt like it was on fire, screaming in pain.
Damn it! I can't fight back the pain and my fever, it's getting worse. I thought I could walk it off. But... The swordsman struggled to keep his eyes open, starting to weave a little off balance.
"Zoro!" Johnny cried out, worried.
"Crap, I thought as much. You still haven't recovered from your right with Hawk-Eye." Sanji hissed.
"I'm not stupid, falling for the old injured animal routine, that's for children! Be right back. It's time for you to see my true skills really are!" Hatchi hopped away from him, landing on the roof of the building and climbed inside the window. Zoro lost his balance as he struggled to stand and collapsed on the ground with a thud, completely exhausted. Hatchi came back out brandishing several swords in his hands.
"Now, you may tremble in fear of Hatchi's way of six blades!" the octopus declared, proudly. He noticed Zoro lying on the ground. "Hey! You're not supposed to die, yet! I haven't even killed you!"
"Damn it, Zoro!" Aya hissed under her breath, gritting her teeth. She jumped over Arlong as he charged at her and kicked him, sending the fishman crashing into the wall of the building.
"I thought it was strange, he walked around just like nothing happened after such a horrible fight." Sanji pointed out. "He's laid out flat."
The commander appeared before Sanji in a flash and punched him hard. Sanji was sent back flying, crashing through the wall, making a hole and landing outside of the compound, near the villagers and two bounty hunters.
"Sanji!" Aya exclaimed.
"Told you to pay attention to me, you weakling." the fishman replied.
"What the-what the hell just happened?!" one of the villagers exclaimed, in shock.
"Sanji, it can't be him!" Johnny shouted in disbelief. "Sanji!"
"They're taken care of, Arlong. What would you like us to do with Zoro?" Arlong's commander replied. "There's also this girl, what would you like to do with her?"
"What a waste of time. Just toss him into the sea!" Arlong smirked, evilly. "As for the girl, do as you please. But, get me that necklace." Aya gritted her teeth angrily as she saw the commander turning towards her and got into a fighting stance. He lunged at her but Aya dodged out of the way and punched the fishman commander in the face, knocking him away from her.
"Fight me yourself, you coward!" Aya snapped at Arlong. "I don't want your lackys! I want YOU! And don't even think about touching Zoro!"
"Aw, that's all?" Hatchi whined, disappointed, looking down at Zoro, who appeared to be out cold.
"Well, they did manage to make a bit of a mess," the commander replied.
"No big deal as long as Arlong Park is still standing." Arlong said.
"True."
"No fair! He killed himself!" Hatchi growled. "I never got the chance to show him, how great of a swordsman I am! If he could have died on one of my six blades I could have stolen his fame! Well, it's no matter. There isn't a human alive that can compare to my way of six blades! Behold the superior power that only a six sword master swordsman!" He began to spin his swords wildly, creating a cyclone.
"Not now, Hatchi. I understand how you must feel, but if you continue this little demonstration, you'll destroy Arlong Park." The commander said to him.
"I'm sorry, I forgot I could destroy stuff." the octopus replied and ceased his attack.
"Don't get carried away." Arlong's commander huffed.
"Way of six blades? What a loser." Everyone saw Zoro, back on his feet again.
"Zoro!" Aya called out in relief. She was happy to see him back on his feet again but also worried about how long he was going to be able to continue to fight. He looked like he was about to collapse at any moment, again.
"Let me make this clear, you sorry excuse for a swordsman," Zoro stated, narrowing his eyes at Hatchi. "There's a certain man that I have to face and until I see him, death itself can not touch me."
Usopp continued to run, and the fishman was still right on his tail, chasing behind him.
If he keeps following me then he can't fight Luffy and the others! I'm the master distractor! I'm such a smart helping friend. Who knew that running for your life like a scared little girl would be so brave!? Usopp thought to himself proudly, smiling. He stopped and looked behind to see that the fishman was no where around.
" Let's see. I can't even see him back there," Usopp murmured to himself. "Man, I'm too fast! I guess I should've slowed a little down. They might be able to swim like fish in water, but on land, they're just like turtles!" He laughed. However, Usopp froze as he saw a shadow below him, it was the fishman. He squeaked nervously, not moving a muscle. The fishman glared as he towered over the sniper, unamused.
"You're a really funny man, but you're not very smart, are you?"
Usopp yelped as the fishman lunged at him and quickly dodged out of his hands. He immediately took off again, running away.
"Get back here!"
Deep in the water of the pool, Luffy was lying on the bottom, unconscious. Genso was trying to free Luffy's legs were bound in the stone. Nojiko was supporting Luffy's head in her lap.
"He's only been drowning for a little while. If we can get him back up, we can revive him!" Genso tried to break to the stone, but to no avail. He was not strong enough to shatter it.
"Damn it! I can't swing harder to break this thing!"
"Hurry Genso!" Nojiko looked at him worried.
"It's no use, I can't break it. He needs air but there's no time to get an air canister. And we can't carry him up with this rock!" Genso shook his head. Then the two both had the same idea.
"THAT'S IT!"
Sanji looked up towards the sky as he laid on the ground, watching the clouds. He pulled out a cigarette and lit it taking a puff from it.
"He's still alive!?" Johnny shouted in disbelief.
"Alright, big bro!" Yosaku shouted.
"That punch that fishman's got, the old man's kicks we're a hundred times worse than that." Sanji said, getting back up again. He started heading back to the compound.
Hatchi smirked as he clashed against Zoro with his swords.
"What's wrong with you Zoro? You look like you're having a really bad day or something." he said, smugly. "I've already demonstrated my way of the six blades to these pathetic humans and there's no way that you can defeat me in that condition!"
"Oh, just shut up." Zoro frowned. "I'll show you, three swords style. Yosaku, Johnny, lend me your swords!"
"Of course!" The two bounty hunters tossed their swords. They were spinning dangerously in the air, heading straight towards him. "Damn it! I'm delusional. I don't know how much long I can last!" Zoro gritted his teeth, trying to keep his eyes open.
"Big bro, here they come!" Yosaku called out.
"Catch them!" Johnny shouted as well.
"Now you'll understand why two human hands will never defeat me! Six blades!" Hatchi shouted, getting ready to strike Zoro down. It all happened in a flash, Zoro moved like lightening as he caught his swords and dashed straight at the octopus fishman, slicing them.
"Three swords style: Streaming Wolf Sword!"
Hatchi cried out painfully as he dropped his swords. His hands and the rest of his body were completely covered in slashes.
"Yes! Kick his ass, Zoro!" Aya cheered.
"How dare you cut me like that!" Hatchi shouted, angrily, glaring at Zoro. "Now, I'm really mad, I'll kill you, you bastard! There's no way you'll survive my next attack. You just got lucky is all! You'll never beat my six swords with three. I've got twice as many swords as you, don't you get it?!"
"You're also not very good at math," Zoro replied, pointing his swords at Hatchi, then got into a fighting stance. "Three swords, six swords, doesn't matter. You may have more swords than me, but mine will always carry more weight than yours!"
"What did you say? It may not look like it, my swords actually weigh quite a bit. Three hundred pound each to be exact. They weigh much more than your pathetic human swords!" Hatchi shouted, picking his swords back up.
"You're an idiot." Zoro remarked. Hatchi charged at Zoro, who was getting ready for his attack.
"Body Slam!" the octopus slammed right into the swordsman, right into his injury! Zoro yelled in pain as he was sent flying up into the air.
"Zoro, no!" Aya shouted.
"Cheap shot you, stupid octopus!" Johnny shouted.
"Damn it! First you dodged my tentacle sword overload, then you sliced and diced my hands up, like some cheap sushi chef! How dare you make a spectacle of my master swordsmanship! You'll pay for that, you son of a bitch! I'll tear you limb from limb!" Hatchi began to spin his swords wildly, like a fan. Zoro was coming down right on top of them.
"Even with this wound would kill a normal man, I will not allow to fail."
"Time to die, Zoro." Hatchi smirked. Zoro was falling closer and closer to the fishman's spinning swords.
"If I ever face Hawk Eye as an equal. I just be extraordinary!" Quickly, Zoro spun to the side, dodging the spinning blades and slashed Hatchi straight across his chest. "Dragon Twister!"
Zoro landed on his feet. Hatchi fell to the ground, unconscious.
"Silly fish, now you finally understand. The weight I carry in my three swords, you satisfied?"
Nami was sitting down outside of Bellemere's house, attending to her wound. She hissed in pain as she pulled the cloth with her teeth, bandaging it up.
"That's enough crying and enough sitting around." She stood up and grabbed her staff. "It's time to make a decision!"
"I got to go! They're all fighting for me!"
Nami ran fast, determined, heading towards Arlong Park.
"Alright, now that tentacles is out of the way. I think it's time to go rescue, Luffy!" Zoro said to Aya. Aya nodded, smiling.
"Yeah, let's go save my idiot of a brother." she replied. But, just as she took a step, Zoro fell on the ground on his knees, tired and weak.
"Maybe, you should take a rest. I've got this." she said, concerned.
"I'm fine. An injury like this is not going to stop me," Zoro assured. However, before either Zoro or Aya could do anything, Arlong's commander came right behind Aya, in a flash, ready to strike her down. Zoro's eyes widen as did Aya's. Zoro tried to get up but fell back down. "Damn it!"
"You're going to pay for what you did to my friends. After, I'm done with you, Zoro's is next!" the fishman shouted throwing a fist at Aya before she could react to defend herself, to block it.
"Big sis Aya! Watch out!" Yosaku called out to her.
"Don' . her!" A voice bellowed out, dangerously.
Suddenly, Sanji kicked the fishman back, knocking him away from Aya, landing right next to her.
"Sanji!" Aya whispered to herself as her eyes widen in surprise. Her cheeks turned a little red, blushing, her heart beating a little faster, as she saw him. It quickly disappeared once she saw the fishman getting back up, again. He narrowing his eyes at the cook, glaring at Sanji.
"YOU!"
"You thought that you gotten rid of me, did you?" Sanji smirked.
"Not bad. I didn't know that there wasn't anyone in all of the East Blue who could stand back up after one of my punches!" the fishman spatted out.
"Oh sure, there's a whole bunch! At a certain restaurant that I know of, wanna go?!" Sanji retorted.
"I don't think so!"
Sanji and Aya noticed Zoro crawling over towards the pool of the water about to jump right in.
"What do you think you're doing? You're dead if you go into the water like that." Sanji told him.
"Shut up, he won't last much more." Zoro told them. "You think you ladies might want to stop chatting?"
"Yeah, time's up. If I could get you to shut up for a moment then you would have noticed that I was about to do this..." Zoro's and Aya's eyes widen in shock to see Sanji dive right in, tossing his shoes aside. "HERE GOES NOTHING!"
"What are you thinking?!" Zoro hissed in disbelief.
"Sanji, no! "The water! They're stronger in it!" Aya exclaimed. She was about to dive in right after him but, Zoro grabbed her wrist, stopping her.
"If you go in there! You'll be dead as well!"
"That's great! He wants to try his luck in the water, against a fishman!" Arlong's commander smirked, gleefully. Zoro's and Aya mouth dropped in horror, seeing the fishman jump into the water, right after Sanji.
"Stupid! I told you they want us to fight in the water!" the swordsman hissed, angrily.
Sanji swam deeper down, searching around for the straw hat captain until he spotted Genso and Nojiko, as well as Luffy, who's neck was stretched out, leading up to the other side of Park, out of the water. Genso was pressing down on Luffy's chest giving him CPR to revive him.
That man is from Cocoyashi Village! They stretched out Luffy's neck! I see! They couldn't move the stone so they moved Luffy's head above the water! All I have to do is break the rock apart!
"This is more like it! Somebody else for something entertaining!" Arlong laughed.
"STOP FOLLOWING ME!"
Usopp cried as he continued to run from the fishman.
