The Moment:

Shaking with utter rage, Chizuru glared at the book in her hands. With a deep raged inhaled breath, she once more read the title of the Book and then the summary on the back. She was beyond angry. Closer to homicidal as she reread the Title once more. "Can I help you Ma'am?" The Sales Clerk of the Bookstore asked and then noticed the Book that Chizuru was holding. "Oh that one. I thought we were completely sold out of that Book. You got lucky." The elder woman said and Chizuru looked over at her.

"What do you mean? Sold out?" Chizuru asked and the other Woman chuckled.

"That Book has been selling out as soon as it hits the shelves. I myself have sold probably a good two hundred copies since that came out about two weeks ago. Hell I did not know we still had one left...If you are not going to buy it...I have about fifty people on a Waiting List that would want it." The Sales Woman informed her and Chizuru took another deep breath. Then bought the Book. She actually was supposed to meet her friends Shinbo and Kawanaka here at the Bookstore to go shopping with them. But now she just could not do that. So she texted the two and told them that she had something more important to do. They immediately texted her back inquiring what it was. So she simply texted them that she had someone that she needed to Murder.

On the Train, Chizuru began to read the Book and her anger increased. "When I get my hands on that Kazuya...I am going to kill him!" She stated silently and growled as she reread the Title once more. "MY RELATIONSHIP WITH A RENTAL GIRLFRIEND. BY AYUZAK ATIHSONIK." She slammed the book shut and closed her eyes. "YOU IDIOT! Anyone with a brain or common sense could easily be able to tell that you wrote this! No...I am not just going to kill him...First I will torture him...Then I will kill him." She said to herself with scowl. Then looked over to her left and right and noticed that several people were reading the Book intently. Until now she never really paid attention and had not noticed what it seemed everyone was reading. Or the advertisements for the Book that seemed to be everywhere she happened to look. Reaching home, she fully intended to pound on Kazuya's door and then confront him about the Book in her hands. But instead she went to her Apartment. She wanted to read the Book first and then confront him.

The Next Morning:

Closing the Book, Chizuru leaned back and closed her eyes. It had taken her almost all night to read the Book completely. She did have to admit it was good. Really good. She had stopped reading several times to write down certain topics she wanted to reference and mention when she confronted Kazuya. That and after reading some certain parts, she had to dogear the page and calm herself down. Fully tempted to storm over to his Apartment then and give him a piece of her mind. The only saving grace she could tell was that he had not used her Real Name or even one close to her Name. Otherwise if he had, she definitely would have to kill him in the most painfully way possible. Oh she still planned on killing him, but now she would make sure that it was quick and only minimally painless. That is after she tortured him of course. She could not believe that he had written a Book about him dating her as a Rental Girlfriend. Sure they no longer did that and she was not a full time Rental anymore. Still it irked her that he would write a book about their time together and not even tell her. When the sun began to shine through her Balcony Window. She stood, picked up the book and proceeded to his door. Using the book to knock by slamming it against the door as hard as she could.

"Who is it?" Kazuya said from within and Chizuru slammed the book one more time against the door.

"YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHO IT IS?" Chizuru yelled at the door and waited as the door slowly opened.

"Oh...Hello Chizuru. Uhm...So what's up?" Kazuya asked though he already suspected the reason why the Hostile Chizuru was at his door. For he could easily see the reason within her hands. She brandished it before her and right at him.

"Before I murder you...You want to tell me about this." Chizuru said and Kazuya was tempted to shut the door and hide in his room. But he knew all that would do is delay his execution until she caught him later.

"I wrote a book." Kazuya said and Chizuru pushed by him into his Apartment. Then glared at him menacingly.

"NO SHIT! The only thing keeping me from cramming this Book up your Ass is that you had common sense enough not to use my Name." Chizuru threw the book down onto his table and then continued to glare at him.

"So I take it you read it." Kazuya said and she nodded.

"Oh yeah I read it! In fact there are several parts that I want to discuss with you later. Then I plan on torturing you and killing you." Chizuru sat down at his table and then pointed to the spot across from her. "Sit!" She commanded and without hesitation he did so. "Now talk!"

"Like I said...I wrote a book. To tell the truth I never believed or expected that a Publisher would...you know Publish it. I did not even want to believe that so many People would buy it." Kazuya quickly said as she winced from the glare Chizuru was giving him while she sat across from him with her arms crossed in front of her chest. She inhaled sharply.

"Continue!" Chizuru ordered him and Kazuya nodded.

"What else can I say...Like I said I just cannot believe it is so popular." Kazuya said wondering if this was going to be the moment that Chizuru actually did torture and Murder him. "Can I plead for mercy?" He asked her and she shook her head.

"No. By the way I am not...angry with the fact that you wrote a book. What I am angry about is that you never told me you wrote a book. Also there are certain parts in your Book that I...I did not exactly like." Chizuru clarified as she continued to glare at him with annoyance. He shied a bit. "Let us discuss some of those parts...Shall we?" She flipped open the book to were the first Dogear was and where she had written on an index card her problems. He checked and could see that there were several other dogears. He exhaled with a deep sigh. It would probably be a long day. "This here...I really do not have a big problem with. In truth I kind of like how you portrayed Gina...Who I am guessing is actually Mami?" He nodded and she smiled. "From what I have discovered...you got her Character almost perfect. She is a royal conniving bitch. Further on though...let us discuss the first time you rented Akiho Shinozaki. Who I take it was me?" He nodded again and bit his bottom lip. She then began to list her dislikes about the entire chapter. Which included where like what happened to them. Where she and Kazuya ended up at the Hospital because of his ailing Grandmother and where their true story began. As she continued through the other parts of his Book that she had problem with. She shied away from the ending. At the end of the Book in a moment of duel insanity. Saito Hiraga who was actually Kazuya. Proposed to Akiho and she accepted. That part made Chizuru's heart pound hard in her chest and she had to reread that ending several times. In truth she found herself thinking pleasantly about that section and wondered if Kazuya in a moment of insanity himself asked her. If she would also accept. As they neared the ending of the Book, she nervously wondered if she had the gumption to ask about that part and if she did what would he say or do. Loosing her nerve, she closed the book and sat there trying not to think about it. Kazuya noticed her expression and the fact that she had quickly closed the Book without mentioning something about the last Dogear that he could easily see.

"Uhm...Chizuru...I...The ending the the Book was something the Publisher suggested. So that it would have a happy ending." Kazuya said and Chizuru looked up from the book.

"Oh...Okay." Chizuru said softly, though she still felt uneasy about that section.

"It is true Chizuru...I...I have not even..." Kazuya was going to say that he never ever thought about doing something crazy as that. But that would be untrue. He had thought about that and in some fashion wished he had the same impulse to do something that insane. Telling her that he had hopelessly fallen in love with her and then proposing to her much like the Saito Hiraga character had done. "I would never actually do that." He finally said lying his ass off. Of course he thought about following the books example. What caught his attention was that he could swear that Chizuru expression changed briefly and it was for that few seconds that he could tell was that of disappointment.

"I know you wouldn't and I already know some of the parts in the book were fiction. Not what really happened. Such as...me getting jealous when Rosa Shinjo became obsessively infatuated with you." Chizuru said for they both knew Rosa was based upon Ruka. "Why would I get jealous...after all if you and Ruka...get together. That would be fine with me." All of that was a complete and utter lie. Yes she had felt jealous and she did not want him and Ruka to get together at all. "Or how about according to...Let's see..." She flipped through the pages of the Book and then found where it was. "Chapter 7...It says here that you did not break down into tears when I gave you that Smartphone Cover." She smirked slightly. Kazuya had omitted that he had broken down into tears when she gave the Cover to him for Christmas. He broke down so badly that some others around thought that she had broken up with him. She thought about that moment and bit her bottom lip. "Another lie...I lied to him then about that gift. Sure I gave Gifts to my other Clients...But they were from a Hundred Yen Store. Not like his where I took time to find the perfect Gift to give him." She thought fondly and then chuckled. Thinking it funny he never realized that. She subtly looked down at the Bracelet on her Wrist. The one he had given to her for Christmas. It had her Birth Stone on it along with several different charms that all had some subtle meaning to them. One of them was a miniature image of the Greek Patron God of the Theatre, Dionysus. Another was a small Horseshoe with small letters on it that spelled out Good Luck. They both sat there in silence for several minutes. "There is actually something else I...Well I was going to wait to ask you for a favor...But since this happened and I am betting you would agree to just about anything I ask due to keeping that a secret from me until now. I need you to do something for me."

"Okay...So what is it?" Kazuya asked and Chizuru smiled broadly. She then blushed slightly and took a small inhaled breath.

"I need...I need you to pretend to be...my Boyfriend this Weekend." Chizuru said and Kazuya smiled even more. "My Cousin wants me to come for a visit and...and well she wants to meet you. My Grandma has told her all about you and now Yukana has been bugging me to bring you for a visit. So has my Aunt Kyoka and Uncle Shoto." He looked at her oddly.

"Wait...I thought it was just you and your Grandmother Sayuri?" Kazuya asked somewhat confused. For when he had talked to Sayuri when she called him once a week to find out if Chizuru was doing alright. He found it odd that she never mentioned anything about anyone else in their family. Chizuru fidgeted slightly.

"They are not actually my Aunt and Uncle or my Cousin." Chizuru could tell that Kazuya was now completely confused. "You see Aunt Kyoka and Uncle Shoto were close friends with my Parents before they died. To me and Grandma they are like family. They have been asking about meeting you...Since Grandma has told them that we are...well we have been together for over a year. So they want to meet you." She said softly and then hoped that was a good enough explanation. Not wanting to go into too much detail about something she determined was private.

"Okay...I understand." Kazuya said and Chizuru sighed with relief. It had been the same with his own Family. His Grandmother was constantly wanting Chizuru to come to all family functions and his Parents also wanted her there. So he had to arrange to Rent Chizuru so that she could attend those functions. Most of the time her Grandmother Sayuri was also there. So they had to really pretend to be a couple during those events. They also both knew some day soon they would have to finally tell all of them the truth. That they are not really a couple and that Chizuru was a Rental. That day was approaching. Though Chizuru secretly did not want to do that. She had found herself actually having real feelings for Kazuya. Once more she thought about the ending of the Book and wondered if he would ever consider doing something as insane as what the Main Character had done. The thought both scared her and excited her.

"Good. So can you do this for me...pretend to be my Boyfriend for this weekend." Chizuru blushed again slightly. "Uhm...it is for the entire weekend...My Grandmother wants to go for the entire weekend." She decided to wait to tell him more until later. Perhaps when they get there. Such as the fact that they would be sharing a Room and that he would have to go along with some other things that she had told Kyoka, Shoto and Yukana. Which would be that they were seriously involved with each other.

"Yep...No problem." Kazuya said and glanced subtly over to the other Nightstand. The Nightstand that was locked. Inside the Locked Nightstand was something he wondered if he would ever have the guts or gumption to actually give to Chizuru. "Nope...I am not that Insane...Yet." He thought as he looked back at Chizuru.

"Okay...Well I am exhausted...I am going to go back to my Apartment and take a nap." Chizuru stood and picked up the Book. "My Grandmother will be here tomorrow to pick us up. So be ready to go." She then left and Kazuya escorted her to his door.

After Chizuru had left and Kazuya packed for the trip. He opened the Nightstand and put the Small Velvet Box into his Bag. Then took it out and then put it back into his bag. Debating with himself if he should take it with him or not. Finally he put it in his bag and almost wished he could be as insane as that of his Book Character.

The Trip:

Arriving via UBER, Chizuru's Grandmother Sayuri Ichinose waited for her Granddaughter to come out with Kazuya. When the two came down the steps, she got out of the backseat and immediately hugged them both. She was really looking forward to this trip and be there when Chizuru introduced Kazuya to Kyoka, Shoto and Yukana. Believing that this would be another stepping stone needed for the two to get more serious about each other. Personally she adored Kazuya and really wanted him and Chizuru to remain together for a long time. Perhaps eventually give her and Nagomi some Great Grandbabies to spoil. As Chizuru got into the Backseat of the Car. Sayuri made sure that Kazuya got in next so he could sit right up next to Chizuru. In moments they were off and heading to the Train Station. It would take at least three hours by Train to reach where Shoto, Kyoka and Yukana lived. In that time Sayuri was determined to make sure that the two sat together as much as possible. As they rode on the Train, she pulled out a Book that she had purchased a few days ago and then found it a little odd when Chizuru gasped loudly. "What is the matter dear? I heard that this Book is on the recent Best Sellers list." She asked the younger girl and then found it odd when Kazuya paled slightly when he noticed the title of the Book. It was MY RELATIONSHIP WITH A RENTAL GIRLFRIEND. BY AYUZAK ATIHSONIK. His book that he had written.

Fidgeting a bit, Chizuru could not help but notice when Kazuya paled as he caught sight of what Book her Grandmother was reading. "He is thinking that later I am going to lay into him again." She thought and then smiled. It did not really bother her anymore that he had secretly wrote a book about her and him. Along with some of their experiences together as he had rented her. As they sat there and she stared out the side watching the scenery race by. She began to think about the ending of the Book. Where Saito Hiraga had confessed his love for Akiho Shinozaki and then proposed to her. She tried not to really think about that part of the Book, but it was hard not to. Since she did know that Kazuya harbored those types of feelings for her. Before she was ready the Train pulled into the Station and it was time to get off.

It took another half hour before the three of them Arrived at the home of Shoto, Kyoka and Yukana Midoryia and once there Chizuru and Sayuri were greeted by their Family Friends with a series of hugs. Then Sayuri introduced Kazuya to them as Chizuru's Boyfriend. The three immediately pelted both Chizuru and Kazuya with a whole series of questions as they led the visitors inside the House. In the living room Chizuru noticed a certain Book sitting on the Coffee Table and winced. "Geez is everyone reading that thing?" She thought, smiling and shaking her head. As they all sat, she had to sit again next to Kazuya and to keep appearances. She held his right hand in her left with her fingers intertwined with his.

"That is so cute...You know Cuz I was...well surprised when Grandma Sayuri told us that you had a Boyfriend and have been with him for over a year." Yukana said and Shoto and Kyoka seemed to also had the same sentiment.

"Why would it surprise you?" Chizuru asked and Yukana chuckled.

"Well from what I know about you...You never really seemed that interested in having a Boyfriend when you were in High School. Remember all those Boys that asked you out and you turned them all down." Yukana replied and Chizuru took a deep calming breath. Then kept her composure.

"None of them did not measure up...I just did not like the reasons they asked me out." Chizuru lowered her gaze thinking about all the Boys that had asked her out when she was in High School. All of them only seemed interested in her because of as they put it she was Hot. None of them really was interested in her because of who she was. All they saw were Breasts, Legs and Ass. She looked over at Kazuya and knew for a fact that he did not look at her like that. Which gave her a warm feeling within her. She had already admitted it to herself long before now that she liked him. Really liked him a lot. She smiled at Yukana. "Wait. Grandma told me you have a Boyfriend now."

"Yep. His name is Junichi Hasiba and...he should be here any time now so you can meet him. Hey how about when he gets here...We go on a double date. Me and him and you and your Boyfriend" Yukana suggested and then let the elders once more pelt Chizuru and Kazuya with all sort of interesting questions. Such as where they had met and is there a possibility of them moving their relationship to a more permanent one. When they asked that Kazuya paled and began to fidget. Which made Chizuru somewhat curious.

"In time perhaps." Chizuru replied and Kazuya to her looked like he was about to faint. He actually came close to it when Yukana an hour later took him and Chizuru upstairs to the Guest Room. Informing him that he and Chizuru would be sharing the room and the Bed.

"Try not to be too noisy in here. My room is right next door and...I really do not need to overhear you two going at it." Yukana said as she shut the door. Kazuya looked over at Chizuru and noticed that she did not seem at all shocked about the sleeping arrangements.

"You knew...You knew about this already." Kazuya said accusingly and Chizuru simply shrugged.

"Yes I did. But don't get any funny ideas. We shared a room before remember...this time though you are sleeping over there. I brought along a sleeping bag and a pad for you." Chizuru told him firmly. Already knowing he would not do anything. For one she had proven a number of times that she could easily defend herself. Not that she would need to with him. Before Kazuya could say anything. Yukana knocked on the door and then informed them that her boyfriend was here.

Accidental Discovery:

Returning from the double date with Yukana and her Boyfriend Junichi. Kazuya and Chizuru both headed for the Guest Room. It was getting late and both felt a little tired from being up most of the day. Along with pretending to be a couple. To Kazuya that part had been exhausting. Pretending to be Chizuru's Boyfriend and he began to wonder how she did it so effortlessly when she went on Rental Dates and pretended to be some Client's Girlfriend. Opening his bag, he rummaged inside for the Pair of Shorts that he intended to use to sleep in. While he had glanced over to see that Chizuru was going through her own Bag for he suspected for her Pajamas. Not paying real attention he accidentally dragged out the small Velvet Box from within his bag and it flopped onto the floor. To his utter horror and dismay it snapped open and to make matters even worse. Chizuru had seen it and what was inside the Box. She gasped audibly as she stared at the contents of the Box wide eyed. "IT IS NOT WHAT YOU THINK." He stated grabbing the box, closing it and stuffing it back into his bag. It took her a few minutes to find her voice.

"It...It looked to me...That was a...Diamond Ring." Chizuru stammered out instantly thinking about the end of his Book. Her heart began to pound heavily in her chest and it took a great deal of will power not to appear to be nervous. "Oh God...Is he going to ask me? What would I say if he did ask me? Wait I would of course say no." She thought and found herself wondering if she would actually say no. It seemed to her it would be so easy to say yes. That frightened her that she would actually consider saying yes.

"Grans gave it to me...and well I sort of...I screwed up and brought it with me. It was just a moment of stupidity that I brought it with me." Kazuya quickly explained and felt his mouth become dry.

"So you are not going to...ask me?" Chizuru asked somewhat disappointed. Which continued to make her feel confused on why she would feel disappointed if he was not going to ask her. "This is insane. I mean we are not really a couple. Sure we have been together for the past year. But that was because he rented me." She thought and then noticed he was looking at her oddly.

"Oh what the hell." Kazuya whispered and pulled the box back out of his bag. Deciding what did he have to lose other then his dignity and common sense. He swallowed heavily and flipped the box open showing her the Diamond Ring within. "This sounds crazy...But Chizuru...Would you...Marry me?" He asked her and Chizuru sat there staring at him. The Ring and then back at him.

"This is crazy. This is insane." Chizuru thought and then it dawned on her that she had not yet said NO. She took a deep cleansing breath and then as she was about to say No. She shocked when she replied. "Yes I will." She watched with amusement when Kazuya hit the floor with a resounding thud. He had fainted. Going over to him, she picked up the ring from the box and slipped it onto her left hand Ring Finger. Then gazed at it fondly. "What am I doing? I actually said YES. I have not even kissed him yet. NO...CPR and that Fake Kiss does not count." She thought as she smiled and looked at the unconscious Kazuya just as fondly. "CRAP! I have fallen for you. How did that happen?" She said then knelt by him. Moving him so that his head was on her lap and she began to gently run her right hand fingers through his hair. Waiting for him to wake up so that she could kiss him and make sure he knew that she did say yes. "I guess we both are insane."

The End?
