Hermione stared at the envelope before tearing it open.

We wish you a very happy 17th birthday and we are so sorry we cannot be there. But many things stood in our way. We hope that you are happy and healthy my dear. Hermione handed the letter to her adoptive parents to read as she ran up stairs and lay on her bed. Simply thinking.
I've always loved the name Esmeralda, I have a sister, a twin, where has she been, I need to meet her.
She grabbed the nearest parchment and quill and wrote to her headmaster of the day's events and of her sister.

She sat with her adoptive parents in her room, she had 5 minutes left until she went back to her true form.
Until now she had been the same bushy haired, un-shapely plain little girl. Soon she would change, she didn't think anything could be worse than her appearance now than what it would be.

Her parents gasped. Their eyes wide as they saw their daughter change right before their eyes.
Hermione stood, took a deep breath and stepped in front of her full-length mirror.
She gasped; her hands flew to her mouth.
In the mirror she saw a woman.
She had very dark chocolate coloured hair which was completely straight and fell nearly to her waist, honey coloured eyes, and full red lips.
She had very well endowed curves and was taller, her skin was slightly tanned and she simply looked…stunning.
Her parents hugged her, all three cried, two of the sadness of loosing their daughter, and one of happiness.
Hermione Elizabeth Granger/Esmeralda Hera Menai fell asleep with a head full of thoughts and happiness…
