Kagome's heart leapt into her throat. He'd never given them the details of Kagura's death, only that he knew it had happened.
His anger towards Magatsuhi made a lot more sense now.
Kagome reached out and grabbed his hand. "I'm sure she's forgiven you."
"Would you," he bit out, youki spiking, "if your son had returned with the stench of your mate's death clinging to him?"
"Sesshoumaru, there's no way you could've—"
