Hey guys! So, this is my first fanfic of OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes. I wasn't interested in the show before when it came out until it ended, but I got a chance to watch it, and it got to me, and I really like it. Also, I decided to make my own OC for the series. In this story, I decided to make my own episodes (chapters) and remake the episodes I choose from the series which included my OCs in it. There are also flashback episodes that I have to remake because of the OC insert plan.

This is my first chapter as an experiment since I would be busy writing other stories. I'm going to leave this story as a hiatus, just in case if I'm not ready to update sooner. I hope you'll enjoy this. I gave it my best shot.

One sunny day at Lakewood Plaza Turbo, in Gar's Bodega, KO was mopping the floor at the doorway.

"What a beautiful day to work at the bodega." he hummed happily.

But Enid slouched on the counter, feeling bored, "Yeah, but there was nothing new going on. We work here, we fight robots, we get paid, and that is it."

KO then thought of something, "Hmm, what if we could find something new today?"

"Like what? It's just everyday in the Lakewood Plaza Turbo," Rad said, stacking the last can of tomato soup.

"Hmm," KO then turned around to face the windows to think of something, "Hey," he then noticed someone strolling into the plaza "Guys, look."

OK K.O.!: The Name's Atalanta

When Rad and Enid popped themselves near the window, they noticed a teenage girl with a long black hair and light-brown skin, around 15-20 years old, wearing a half-white/half-black shirt with a half-black/half-white legging and black shoes, who strolled around the plaza while playing with various powers as she went along.

"Whoa, do you see what I'm seeing?" Rad asked his two friends.

"Yeah. That girl is just playing with her powers," Enid described

"What's her power?" KO asked while observing the girl's moves.

"Hmm," Enid observed as the girl lifted herself from the ground, "Okay, there was flying…"

The girl then shot out lasers from her eyes, "And lasers…" Rad added.

Then, she lifted an abandoned tire ahead of her with her telekinesis that contained a pinkish-purple aura around her hands and the tire, "Telekinesis…" KO guessed.

As the girl went one using her powers randomly, the bodegamen kept guessing while they observed.

She grew flowers from the ground, "Plant power.." Rad pointed.

She shot fireballs from her palm, "Fire…" KO noticed.

She sprinkled ice crystals above her, "Ice…" Enid mentioned

She stomped the ground, lifting up rocks in the air, "Earth…"

She burst out a pinkish-purple energy beam from her hands, leaving a warren of rabbits hopping away, "Magic…" KO guessed. But then, the girl unleashed a flock of eyeballs with bat wings, "Another magic, but darker…" KO guessed again, but felt a little scared after seeing it.

The girl then lifted an empty car before putting it down slowly, "Superstrenght…" Rad said.

She picked up a soda can with her telekinesis as she made it disappear, and the can appeared again above a far away trashcan before letting it fall, "Teleportation…" KO stated.

She felt it was a hot day, so she summoned a purplish-pink energy projection shaped like an umbrella as she covered herself from the sun, "Energy projection…!" Enid exclaimed.

"What is going on?! Why does that girl have so many powers?!" Rad asked confusingly, scratching his head.

"I don't know, and it's so… weird," Enid cringed

"Yeah, not everyone has that many powers." KO commented, "Let's just follow her and ask,"

"Are you kidding, little dude? We can't ask someone why they have so many powers. That would be rude," Rad told his friend.

"Yeah, and I don't think that girl wants us to bother her. Maybe we could just go back to work, and…" Enid was about to finish her sentence, but the next thing she knew was the door opened, and a trail of dust faded, which means KO ran off to follow that girl, "And he's after her."

While he was following the teenage girl, KO was hiding behind obstacles so he wouldn't get spotted, "Why's that girl has so many powers?" He talked to himself in his mind, "I get that heroes can have one or two powers, but that many? What if she's a villain? But villains get one or two powers too. I don't even know this girl yet. She's new, and interesting, and someone I never heard of. Is she a hero or a villain? I wanna ask her, but I wasn't supposed to talk to villains, but I'm not sure unless I talk to her."

Then, the girl turned to her left in a narrow alleyway. When KO was about to follow her, Rad and Enid rushed to him while panting from running to catch up with him.

"KO, wait up," Enid bent down a little to catch her breath.

"KO, I'm not sure it's a good idea to spy on this girl," Rad advised.

"I'm not spying, and I just wanna talk to her," KO pointed to the alleyway at the left.

KO, Rad and Enid tried to look for the girl at the narrow alley, but she was nowhere to be seen. "Hey, where'd she go?" asked Rad.

"I don't know," Enid answered.

"It's like she just disappeared," KO said.

Suddenly, they were surprisingly captured with KO being magically trapped in a pinkish-purple aura of telekinesis, Rad got wrapped up tightly by thick vines, and Enid was grabbed by a white and black giant projectile hand as they were pinned against the wall.

"All right, who are you three working for?" the girl in black and white clothes demanded an answer.

KO stammered, "Working? We don't work for someone... other than our boss, Mr. Gar."

"Yeah. We're just dum-dums," Rad replied.

"Zip it, ding-dong. She's gonna know we're dum-dums," Enid growled quietly.

The teenage girl then kept pinning the three with her powers, "Why are you following me? Spill the beans or you'll be spilling powers!"

"We just wanna know how you get so many powers," Enid explained.

Rad added, "And maybe hang out? That's all, Ms..."

"The name's Atalanta. Atalanta Superius," Atalanta introduced herself as her name appeared on-screen with her level shown to be a question mark, and her alignment status showed "Hero or Villain?" Atalanta then released the three, making her powers disappear, "But listen you don't wanna get mixed up with a gal like me. This girl is nothing but having a confusing life."

Confused by the name, KO took out his binder where he kept his POW Cards collection too look for the card with the name "Atalanta" on it, but he kept flipping pages, and couldn't find it, "Atalanta Superius…"

"You probably heard of that last night," Atalanta turned to the three with a smirk on her face.

"No," KO, Rad, and Enid shook their heads.

"Really? Not even that S tower over there," she pointed a giant tower with a shape of a letter "S" 4 miles from Lakewood Plaza Turbo.

"Huh. You know, I keep wondering what that S building is doing there, and what it stands for," Rad stared at the building while scratching his cheek with a finger.

"S means Superius," Atalanta stated.

"How come I never heard of you before?" KO stared down on his binder again.

Atalanta bent down to KO's level, "Seriously?"

"Well, not in my POW Card collection."

"You collect POW Cards, huh? That's cute," Atalanta looked down at KO's binder to see his collection. He even flipped the pages for him to find her POW card, "Hmm, it means my family's POW Cards are rare ones. You couldn't find them so easily."

"What about you? Do you have a POW Card?" KO asked, much to Atalanta's cringe "Can I have a copy of it."

Atalanta was a little nervous about discussing POW Cards in front of a 6-11-year-old kid, but she didn't want to lie, so she confessed, "I, uh… I don't have a POW Card."

Rad and Enid gasped. For meeting someone with many powers, they wouldn't believe a superpowered person like Atalanta wouldn't have her own POW Card.

"NOOOOO!" KO screamed in shock, "You don't have a POW Card?!"

"You can say, I'm not on that level yet," Atalanta admitted.

"Oh, that's sad," Enid cooed.

"But you have so many powers. Why don't you have a POW card?" Rad questioned.

"It's complicated," Atalanta said sadly, but kept a brave look on her face, "Anyway, sorry for making you think I'm threatening you guys. I was just strolling into the plaza before looking for a job," she was about to walk off when she heard KO's loud gasp.

"A job? To be a hero?" KO asked excitingly.

Atalanta turned to him in panic before answering, "No, to help my family. My family was huge, so they needed someone to earn for them."

"Oh, why don't you work with us?" Rad suggested.

"With you guys?"

"Yeah," KO then grabbed Atalanta's hand, and pulled her with him as he and his friends headed back to the bodega for them to show their new friend. When they made it in front of the bodega, "Hmm, a bodega, huh?" KO released Atalanta's hand, and declared, Here. Gar's bodega!"

Atalanta took a good look at the bodega, even reading the slogans on the window that one of them said, "Everything you need to be a hero." Atalanta then spoke with a shrug, "That's fine and all, but I'll pass."

"What? Why?" KO asked.

"Well, I like the bodega, but I need a job that can pay me a lot. Trust me, my family is huge than you think… and powerful too. They can be a pretty handful," Atalanta explained.

"Maybe we can help you find other jobs here," Enid suggested as she and Rad ran off, and KO grabbed Atalanta's hand again, and pulled her with him to catch up with his two friends.

KO, Rad, and Enid had been showing Atalanta around the plaza to look for a job that she would like. Atalanta already knew about the plaza. She had been here with her family sometimes, but she didn't figure out if she wanted to work here, with a lot of relatives in one tower. She tried if she was interested in working at a cafe, or at the car wash, or at a library. But nothing caught her interest to work there. As much as she liked working at the plaza, it was not enough for her to help her family. Her family was huge and handful, and she needed to earn much for them.

After that day of finding the right job for Atalanta, she and the Bodegamen made it back to the bodega.

"Thanks for the help, guys, I don't feel that I have a perfect job here. Besides, people came here to work not just for the money, but to be heroes, and I'm still reaching that goal my way," Atalanta said.

"Well, I hope you'll find what you're looking for." Enid smirked at her.

Atalanta smiled back, and nodded, "Me too."

Just then, a metal box with the "BM" initial on it fell from the sky, and landed in front of them

"What's that?" Atalanta asked, pointing the metal box.

"It's Lord Boxman. He's sending his robots to attack the plaza," KO replied.

Atalanta understood this as she nodded, "Huh. No wonder I heard of him and his motives before."

The giant metal box opened, revealing two wooden crates and one giant pink rose. Two of the crates opened, revealing Darell and Shannon, and the giant rose opened, revealing Raymond.

"Hey, plaza losers!" Shannon waved a hand, and snickered sinisterly.

"We're gonna take you down!" Darrell shouted excitedly.

Enid yawned in boredom, "Ugh, just like everyday in the plaza."

When the trio readied to fight, KO looked up at Atalanta, and remembered the powers she unleashed when he first saw her.

"Hey, since you have so many powers, why don't you fight them?" the kid suggested.

But Atalanta felt hesitant about doing such a thing, "What?"

"It's also a job, and maybe you'll get paid more for saving the plaza."

Atalanta didn't want to come to this, but she needed a job for her family, "Hmm, I think I can try."

Suddenly, Rad grabbed Atalanta like an object, and placed her a few feet in front of the Boxmore robots.

Atalanta nervously smiled, and raised a hand, "Hi."

The robots weren't familiar with a newcomer as Shannon asked, "Uh, who are you?"

"Um, I…" Atalanta was about to introduce herself, but the bodega surrounded her.

"This is Atalanta Superius. She's a gal with so many powers," Enid answered the question

"And she's here to take you down," Rad added proudly.

"Wait, what?!" Atalanta exclaimed before the trio moved aside, letting her fight the robots.

"Oh, so we have another hero to fight and destroy," Shannon grinned, cracking her knuckles.

"I'm not really a hero," Atalanta corrected.

Darrell scoffed, "Possibly not yet."

"We don't care," Raymond said.

"We want to destroy the plaza, and that includes you," Shannon stated while pointing her finger at Atalanta.

When the three robots charged at her, instead of thinking of fighting, Atalanta only did was talk.

"Is that really necessary?"

The robots stopped a few inches from touching Atalanta as they brought their feet on the ground, "Huh?"

"What?" KO, Rad, and Enid were confused about what Atalanta was doing.

"I mean, who wanted to destroy this amazing plaza anyway?" Atalanta asked the robots.

"Uh, we do!" Darrell answered.

"Are you sure?" Atalanta asked again

The other robots were unsure if this was what they wanted, but Raymond confessed honestly, "No, it's our father."

"He built us to destroy the plaza," Shannon added.

"Hmm, really? Well, that's a villainous thing to do, but do you have to destroy the plaza everyday when there are a lot of things you need for your personal space?"

The robots gasped, and asked excitedly, "Really?!"

"Yeah. I mean, if you guys have a bedroom, you can buy your own personal things without your dad knowing. There are a lot of things you need here in this plaza that is your home…," Atalanta moved her head aside to see the view of Boxmore, "In Boxmore, couldn't have, like toys or make up or clothes…"

"Did you say toys?" Darrell squeaked.

"Make up?" Shannon gasped.

"Clothes? What about dresses?" Raymond inquired eagerly.

"Absolutely. You know, I'm here to look for a job, but while I was at it, I explored the whole plaza, and there is a lot of good stuff around here. I know this is a plaza for heroes, but my treat to show you around," When Atalanta led the way, the robots happily followed her, leaving the bodegamen frozen in shock with their jaws dropped to the ground.

"Uh… what was happening?'" Rad asked, still having his jaw dropped.

"Instead of fighting, she was… talking," Enid observed.

"That was… amazing!" KO was really impressed as he jumped in the air.

Hours later, after coming back from shopping, Atalanta, Darrel, Shannon, a

nd Raymond were laughing with each other while holding bags of stuff they bought around the plaza. They came back in front of the bodega where KO, Rad, and Enid were sitting at the side of the street, waiting for them to return.

"Man, I don't wanna live in a house with a dad that treated you guys badly," Atalanta said.

"But, we still love our daddy. He knows what's best for us and the business," Darrell responded.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure I won't interfere here," Atalanta felt bad for the Boxmore robots, but she was happy that she got to know them a little better instead of fighting them off, "So, are you still wanna destroy the plaza?"

"Well, we're having a good time here with you, but our daddy is gonna find out, and he'll kill us for sure," Shannon shrieked in fear.

"And discontinue us… for good," Raymond stammered.

Atalanta then thought of something to have the robots spare the plaza without letting their creator/father know about this, "Hmm, would he discontinue you guys if you fail?"

"Well, no, we'll reboot to a new buddy, but memories are still intact," Darrell explained.

"Really? He cloned you in case you get destroyed, huh? Well, nothing hurts if you guys continue fighting."

"Wait, what? Really?" The Bodegamen and the Boxmore robots exclaimed.

"Yep. I mean, this is the reason why you came here, right?" She asked the robots, which they nodded slowly. Then, Atalanta asked the Bodegamen, "And what do you guys always do? Fight 'til you succeed?"

KO, Rad, and Enid glanced at each other before smiling and nodding as they got up, and ready to fight.

The robots dropped down their stuff, and unleashed their weapons from their bodies.

"Are you going to join us?" KO asked after seeing Atalanta standing aside.

Atalanta held out a hand, and shook her head, "Nah. I'll be sitting here and watching. It's not my business. You guys go along," she summoned an energy projection chair for her to sit down, and magically summoned a bag of popcorn before sitting down, and eating some popcorn.

Now that Atalanta was out of their way, the two groups of trios readied to fight, and charged at each other while screaming.

While they fought "off-screen", Atalanta was entertained with the fight as she kept eating her popcorn. After a few minutes, she could see the robots got blasted all the way back to Boxmore with KO, Rad, and Enid tossed the robots' stuff with them as a favor of bringing their stuff back to their home.

The trio then stretched their bodies after minutes of fighting, and it felt really good.

"Ah, nothing feels good than fighting Box bots," Enid sighed in relief, stretching out her arm.

Atalanta then approached them, feeling amazed, "Wow, you guys are amazing back there!"

"We're amazing? You're amazing!" KO laughed, much to Atalanta's confusion. Then, the kid leaned closer to her, "How could you even do that?"

Then, Enid recalled her "skill", "Just talking?"

Rad then asked curiously, "What did you tell them?"

"Well, they won't completely destroy the whole plaza since I showed the good benefits for them, but they will continue to be sent here, and fight you guys," Atalanta answered.

"Wow You're some kind of wizard," Enid teased.

"Eh, it's just giving advice," the teenage girl corrected.

"But why didn't you use your powers? You have a lot of them," KO asked, looking up at her.

Atalanta bent a knee, lowering herself at KO's level, and said, "I can't rely on my powers all the time. Sometimes, you should accept life is hard, and you can't make it easy, especially with powers. I can see that you guys do this everyday: Working, fighting, going home. It might be boring and predictable, but that's life, and you know what you would do to protect the plaza. You should accept that life is like a loop, but it's your choice to make things exciting if you want."

The trio then glanced at each when they realized that everyday they had been doing the same routines, they could've just changed it themselves.

"Wow, we never thought of that. Thanks for the advice, Atalanta," Enid patted Atalanta's shoulder.

"Yeah, from now on, we're doing something exciting to make the day less boring," Rad held a fist, punching down an elbow.

"Yep, life is always boring, but people here came to make things more fun," Atalanta stated.

When Rad and Enid went back inside the bodega, KO was left with her.

"So, will I ever see you again?" He asked innocently.

Atalanta reached down to KO, and ruffled his hair, "Of course, you little bugger. Now I met you guys, I can come back here all the time to hang out."

"Really?"

"Just after I find my new job, and if I get hired, I'll come back here during breaks to hang out. I have superspeed, so I can run as fast as I can to get here and back to my work."

"That would be exciting!"

"Well, I'll see you soon, KO," Atalanta pated KO's head before flying off.

KO watched Atalanta flying off before heading back in the bodega. Inside, Enid stood back behind the counter while Rad put down a box of canned fruits with his telekinesis.

"Atalanta is so amazing!" KO spoke.

"Yeah, she's the best," the ninja agreed.

"I hope we'll hang out with her more," the alien wished.

KO looked back at the window, and answered, "Yeah, she will. And it's nice to have a new friend around."

THE END

So, here, my OC was named Atalanta Superius. I chose the name "Atalanta" because of its meaning, "equal in weight", and was named after a heroine in Greek mythology. The meaning of her name isn't exactly focused on "weight", but more of her personality and alignment that will be revealed later on.

I called KO, Rad, and Enid "The Bodegamen" because that was what Mr. Gar called them.

The way the trio met Atalanta at the alleyway was a reference from The Cuphead Show were Cuphead and Mugman met Ms. Chalice.

The event of the chapter happened in season 1 of the OK KO series, and between the episodes "Just A Pebble" and "Presenting Joe Cuppa".

Thank you for your time to read this, and see you real soon!
