The Crimson Curse

Life…works in many different ways. You live. You die. Your spirit leaves your body and flows in the river of spirits…like an astral line. Never to return to your body again.
There was an old saying my brother used to tell me.
"Life is a lesson. You'll learn it when you're through."
I guess he was right, he's always right or at least I thought so.

For me life has always been changing, so many unexpected events happening all at once. Then again I suppose there's that saying, " Life is like a box of chocolates. You'll never know what you get."

That's seems more accurate…yeah…it does. But I guess it depends on what kind of view you're looking at life from.

When I was younger, life was really difficult for me. I was abused physically and emotionally. My parents had disowned me. Even my older sister wouldn't speak to me. Then one day, she left our world and never came back.

Back then I couldn't understand why…but now I do.

Even though life was difficult back then, it was also good. You may think, yeah I suppose life is like a roller coaster, or box of chocolates, but how could you say it's good if something terrible is happening?

Well you see…there was this boy and we used to play together a lot. I guessed you could have called us childhood sweethearts.
But from what I could remember, we got separated, only just after making a promise.

My name?

Amethyst Sohma. I'm 18 years old, about 5ft 0, with silver hair and a mixture of crimson and amethyst eyes. Yeah I know, freaky eye colour combo, but you see, I'm only half of what you are.
