Hiroshi stood tall in the referee's spot overseeing. Lily and Violet opted to take on Sissi and Joe together, and the sisters were terrified of losing. Both knew that they were on thin ice with their dad, and they were going to have to prove that they were worthy. Even if they may lose, they were hoping to give their opponents a run for their money.

"Trainers, commence battle!" Hiroshi said getting the pleasantries out of the way.

"Dewgong, it's showtime!" Lily said as Dewgong leapt out of the water.

"Vaporeon, go for it!" Violet said sending out the Bubble Jet Pokémon.

"Tobirama, to battle!" Joe said sending out his graceful ninja frog.

"King Louie, to the water!" Sissi said as her Kingdra splashed into the water.

Sissi immediately called for King Louie to use Rain Dance and Joe called for Tobirama to use Toxic Spikes. The sisters laughed at not taking the chance for the first attack and giving them an 'advantage'. King Louie's Swift Swim would make them eat those words. Dewgong and Vaporeon? Done for with every attack they launched failing to hit King Louie. Tobirama's Night Slash made mincemeat of Vaporeon and a well-timed Dragon Pulse from the king cooked Dewgong's goose.

"One down, two to go." Joe said as both girls looked nervous.

Violet and Lily both sent out Seakings only for them to get poisoned because of the Poison Spikes.

"Waste of a turn, eh?" Joe said return Tobirama before sending out Edgar.

And then Sissi sent out Voltkin.

"Oh, fuck me…" Violet whined.

Misty let out a sigh of relief as her shoulders were getting rubbed. She was in midst of getting her feet massaged while getting her nails done. It was nice to get to spoil yourself, she thought. The parlor was more than pleased to see Misty come in, and she was glad to do this on her sister's dime.

"Thanks for paying for getting my hair styled." Crimson said coming up.

He had gotten his hair in braided cornrows to which he put back on his cap.

"Cornrows?" Misty asked raising an eyebrow.

"Well, my hair was a bit uncontrolled. So, I figured why not. Maybe I could dye it red, but…nah." Crimson said taking a seat. "How's the family?"

"Shitty. My mother babies me and I'm trying not to disappoint my father. Which isn't really that hard considering my sisters are morons." Misty said ironically.

"To be fair, I figured that your sisters gave you shit because you were the parent's golden child." Crimson said as Misty nodded. "Knew it. You're too talented."

"Sure, they do water shows, but my dad's all about the gym." Misty remarked as they finished her feet.

As they left the salon, Crimson sensed an energy and turned toward the source that was heading in another direction…only to turn to go for him. In a blur, a package flew at him to which he caught.

"Who?" Misty remarked.

"Friend from the underground." Crimson said tearing open the package. "And Christmas came early."

A Silph Scope. Crimson had a grin on his face because Neo saved him a trip.

"Why would you need that?" Misty said as he shoved it his bag.

"Because I'm going to need it for dealing with ghost Pokémon." Crimson said with a wry grin.

The two laughed it off because heading back to the Gym to see Joe and Sissi had won their battle. Misty could tell it was a stomp, as Nigiri and Cherry were dancing their little victory dance. Lily and Violet both looked like they wanted to hide as their father shook his head. Daisy had presented the two with their badges.

"I commend the both of you for your strategy." Hiroshi said as Joe smirked at his fifth badge.

"So, can I challenge someone for the badge?" Rusty asked.

"I need to go…check on my Pokémon in Day-Care!" Daisy said bolting out of the door.

Not that it was not a lie, but it was clear she did not want to battle. Hiroshi sighed in defeat as Kishi shook her head.

"We can come back, because it's time for us to go." Crimson said. "We're heading eastward."

"Towards Crimson City?" Hiroshi said as Crimson looked confused.

"No…towards Route 9 and 10." Crimson said confused.

"That's what he's talking about. What? You don't even know about the city you're seemingly named after!" Violet sniped.

"Back off, you vapid shrew. He just had to deal with a few blows to the head." Dex Bulma sniped before addressing Crimson. "Crimson City is right on Route 10 being near the base for Rock Tunnel. Their city also hosts the Kanto Power Plant…although it's been recently abandoned. It's known to be a hotspot for martial artists and battles. Real traditional yet near lawless."

"They say they're so much fighting there that the Officer Jenny had to learn martial arts just to make arrests. Real wild place." Rusty said excitedly. "I'm itching to go over there."

"Yeah, over there…many know how to fight with their fists. I'm surprised you didn't know." Joe said as Crimson knew he had cover for himself.

"You know how it is. When you snap out of a depressive funk, go out on adventure, and fight like a madman…you forget a few things." Crimson said laughing it off. "But we should get going!"

Crimson rushed for his bike revving his engine before asking his Dex how long it will take for them to get there.

"On bike, several days. Route 9 is long with a few landmarks. There's Grampa Canyon for one. If you want to keep your lead over Ash and his friends. You and your posse need to get a move on." Dex Bulma said as he sped up.

"Wait up!" Rusty said getting on his to chase after them.

"Crimson, you impulsive ass!" Joe said getting on his bike with Sissi getting on the back of it.

As they took off, Misty watched them go wishing she could join them. However, she had a job to do.

(A/N: Man, maybe I should cut the sisters some slack. Either way, the Rocket Arc continues. I'm going to cover a few more episodes from the anime making my own adaptions on them. To explain something, Crimson City was in the anime, but as a mentioned place as the hometown of Mandi and Jeannette Fisher. So, I figured, why not expand on it…through this. I did always find it weird that Route 10 has a center, a Power Plant, but no town. So, I wanted to work with the idea and make it something original.)
