Sesshoumaru was halfway to the garden when he ran into his brother.

Sesshoumaru pinned him against the wall, the wood crying out in protest as his claws wrapped around his throat. "You were supposed to protect her."

Inuyasha scratched at his arm, his blunt nails doing nothing to deter his grip. "What're you talking about? Lemme go, ya bastard!" His dark eyes widened in fear when Sesshoumaru's bled crimson, the stripes on his cheeks turning jagged.
