"Your nose is dulled, and your ears are distracted," Sesshoumaru snarled, throwing him towards Kouga as he rounded the corner. "If your rutting has caused her harm, the West will no longer be a haven to you."
Kouga wrapped a protective arm around Inuyasha. "What the hell is going on?"
"He's lost his mind! Thinks something happened to K'gome!"
Kouga frowned and scented the air. "All I can smell is her barrier. She put it up over the garden right after you left. I figured it was to keep the other one from hurtin' anyone."
"Then she has deceived you both."
