"And that's what happened…" Crimson said.
Here he sat in some rooftop having breakfast burritos and hash browns with Neo telling her about yesterday. Or at least, the part he did not expand on with his team.
"That bitch is crazy." Neo said unironically. "Yeah, I know. And honestly, you did Team Rocket a major blow by axing her. But I hope she didn't kill your sexual mojo."
"Not letting that happen." Crimson affirmed as he bit into another burrito. "But the Rockets aren't done yet. I did an early morning raid of the place for items left behind with my friends. A few valuables, but the computer systems were useless."
"You do know Team Rocket is going after a bigger prize. It's why they tried to take over Sepia…" Neo warned as Crimson pointed up. "Yes, exactly."
The two silently ate for a bit before Neo spoke up.
"Did you deal with your issues about that Jenny you saw die?" Neo asked.
"Yeah." Crimson said quietly.
Neo did something that surprised him, she hugged his side.
"Crimson, me and my circle are rooting are you, you know. Plus, if you hadn't killed Domino, I would have done it myself." Neo admitted.

The Game Corner was officially reopened as the Black Dragon Casino. Roulette had worked overtime yesterday to get roulette tables and blackjack games running with new employees. The breeders and sellers in Sepia were on supplying the new prizes to be won lining the underground city with a lot more money. Celadon City had let Crimson keep the place as thanks for getting rid of both Team Rocket and the cops that were helping them. At the moment, the Black Dragons were celebrating at the Gym.
"Oh man, I never thought I'd have a stake in a casino!" Sissi said excitedly.
"We were on the news again, at least for a better reason." Rusty said relived.
"And it seems public opinion of me has gone up." Crimson said looking at the newspaper before thinking about Saffron City.
"Think that's the last of the Rockets?" Kay asked.
"No. They're not done yet…because they've been planning to go after Saffron. It's why it's been locked down…" Crimson said to the shock of everyone.
"But why Saffron?" Coco asked.
"Silph Co." Misty and Erika said.
"Exactly. They want Silph Co.'s tech for themselves or at least force the company to work with them." Crimson said with a haunted look.
"You're not going to go all gun-ho, now?" Coco asked concerned.
"No. I'm calling in for help all around. And rework my team." Crimson said getting his phone out. "And I suggest that you ready yourselves. Things are going to get uglier, and the stakes will get higher."
Crimson got up heading for out.
"I'm heading out on my own for a bit. I'm going to need time to train…and prepare myself." Crimson said.
He made some swaps to his team before changing clothes to a black Splatter Paint T-Shirt, white Camo Pants, black socks, his Thunderbolt Baseball Cap, his old aviators hanging on his chain which had two dog tags, his Dark Type Sports Gloves, and a new pair of Nike Air Max Ultraflight sneakers. He fluffed his backpack and got his gear in order before leaving the Pokémon Center with Capone following.
"Finally! How was bull-boy?" Capone asked.
"He did swimmingly." Crimson said chipper. "He's worth his weight."
"Heh. Only the best for you." Capone said with a grin.
"Crimson!"
"The shit?" Capone said as he and Crimson turn to see the source of the voice.

Crimson saw Jazmine riding up on her bicycle becoming coming to a stop. Huey came up right behind.
"Jazmine, Huey. Hey. I had run into your brother." Crimson said as Huey rolled his eyes. "Good to see you both."
"I thought I smelled hater." Riley said rolling up with Cindy.
"Did everyone friggin' come to Celadon?" Crimson said before sensing a few familiar people.
"You did open a casino. Speaking of, I'm going there to get in the game and win some prizes. I heard that you can win Pokémon and special TMs there." Riley said.
"Miss Sinclair's even holding a special promotion of giving out a free Coin Case to new players." Jazmine said. "Wanna come with us?"
"May as well see the place. Haven't been in it yet." Crimson said going with them.

The place now looked more like a casino with tables for the roulettes and blackjack. Posters of the Black Dragons were up on the walls. Jazzy chiptune music played from the speakers.
"Welcome one and all…to the Black Dragon Casino!" A kindly worker said. "I'm just going to need to see some ID."
Once those were verified, they (except Crimson) got a Coin Case along with 100 coins to get started.
"I'm not one for gambling really." Huey said.
"Then you would be interested in what goes on downstairs." The worker said before leaving.
Seeing Wendy, Crimson implored about that.
"Oh, it was Roulette's idea. As a prototype to your dream, she formed a small arena downstairs where people can hedge bets who will win. With coins of course." Wendy said sheepish.
That got Riley and Cindy's attention and they went down the stairs. Jazmine decided to try the roulette leaving Huey to watch to keep her out of trouble. Crimson decided to go down with Capone.

Downstairs, the first floor was rearranged for the small battle arena. A crowd was gathered around the ring intensely watching a match between Lindsay's Blissey, Lucelle, and a Machamp.
"Man, this bitch is roast. 10 Gold on the Machamp." Riley said.
Crimson decided to just watch.
"Lucelle, Metronome." Lindsay said as Lucelle waggled her fingers.
Most laughed expecting a dud move, but Lucelle fired out an ice blue beam that consumed Machamp in cold before it collapsed having fainted.
"Sheer Cold…" The announcer said. "Meaning the winner is Lindsay and Lucelle."
"Shit!" Riley said as coins changed hands.
"Who dares to battle against his lovely lady and her fierce Pokémon? So far, she has lost a match yet. 10 in a row." The announcer said as Lindsay returned Blissey.
"I'll take her on." Crimson said speaking up.
Everyone turned to see him. He walked into the arena like he owned the place, which he did.
"Hey Lin, so no holding back?" Crimson said.
"Oh, come now, I can't act like an air head all the time. Gary and the others were not coming here for a while, but I went ahead. Ella wanted to drag Gary to the mall. I wanted to have a bit of fun." Lindsay said taking a wide grin. "Now let's play."
"Welcome, welcome. Because it seems our challenger is none other than the Casino's owner, Crimson. And it seems the two battlers clearly know each other. We got an intense rivalry." The announcer said as the crowd cheered.
"So how we do this?" Crimson asked.
"One on one." The announcer said. "And you pay in coins. 20 coin minimum."
"200 then." Crimson said putting the coins on the table.
Lindsay put down the same amount as they got into the ring.
"My nigga Crimson goin' to kick this chick's ass! All in." Riley said emptying his Coin Case.
Cindy did the same as another person was coming down.
"St. Augustine, it's your turn!" Lindsay said sending out her Leafeon.
"Lil' Swish, I need your mind." Crimson said sending out his Espeon.
"Let the battle begin!'
[Cues: Wild Guns OST – Carson City]
"Aerial Ace!" Lindsay said as St. Augustine rocketed off a blaze of white light.
He struck first but the Rocky Helmet caused some 'forced recoil' damage.
"Psychic Fangs!" Crimson said as Lil' Swish's fangs glowed pink before sinking into Leafeon's leafy body.
"Shit! I really hate the biters!" St. Augustine hissed.
"You taste like veggies." Lil' Swish said in a muffled tone.
"Counter with Shadow Ball." Lindsay said as the Pokémon Saint formed an inky black sphere.
"Dodge it and hit him with Toxic!" Crimson said.
Lil' Swish did spray gunk out of his gem to poison St. Augustine but could not dodge the Shadow Ball landing a blow on him.
"Get up, man! I'm riding on you!" Riley cheered as Lil' Swish got up. "Yeah, yeah. Kiss his ass, G!"
"Giga Drain." Lindsay said with a wry look as St. Augustine glowed before making green tendrils of energy.
"Run towards him!" Crimson said as Swish bolted at him dodging the tendrils only to get caught by one. "Now, Sizzly Slide!"
"Hey leafboy, I'm on fire!" Lil' Swish said before his face twisted with a crazed grin before erupting in flames. "It's my Flareon impression!"
The fire even took shape of a Flareon before Lil' Swish fell on top of his fellow Eeveevolution.
"AAHH! It's burns!" St. Augustine said clawing away from the heated Pokémon.
"Shadow Ball!" Lindsay said as St. Augustine angrily formed that black sphere.
"Use Psychic and finish this fight!" Crimson said as Lil' Swish's eyes glowed light blue.
A blue outline formed on Leafeon's body as his mind was assailed damaging him before that sphere blew up in his face. Down he went giving Crimson the victory.
[Music Ends]
"And it's over, Crimson wins." The announcer said as the crowd cheered.
Riley was rolling in coins and Crimson took his winnings.
"Good to see you're as sharp as ever." Crimson said.
"I try." Lindsay said backing out. "Anyone else want to take him?"
"I will!"
"Oh…no." Crimson said turning to see Ash.
He did not want to fight Ash as it was like kicking a puppy and a lot of his childhood. The cynic in him wanted to wreck him though.
"Fine. One and one. I hope you have coins to wager. It's 20 minimum." Crimson said as Ash paid the announcer. "Let's go this then."
"Blastoise, I choose you!" Ash said sending his Blastoise.
Capone finally got his turn to fight, and people were sliding to make bets on Ash. Riley put all in on Crimson again, he believed in him.
"Brick Break!" Ash said as Blastoise's fists glowed.
He lunged at Capone and Crimson called for the rat to jump and use Super Fang. *CRUNCH!* Blastoise could feel his health was sliced down in half before batting the rat off.
"You cut my health in half!" Blastoise bellowed.
"Whatcha goin' do about this, bitch?" Capone taunted.
"Hydro Pump!" Ash called out.
"Drown you!" Blastoise said taking aim.
He fired only for Crimson to call for Thunderbolt and Blastoise's eyes were wide like dinner plates before being zapped. Ash called for Blastoise to counter with Brick Break and he got the bastard. It seemed to be over only for the Focus Sash around him to glow.
"Not done yet." Capone wheezed. "Crimson, let me zap this bitch up!"
"Thunderbolt!" Crimson called.
"I'm a Pikachu! THUNDERFUCK!" Capone said before frying up the Shellfish Pokémon.
Down it went, the crowd cheered as the announcer called the match. Crimson healed his Pokémon before throwing Ash a Revive.
"You nearly had me, but one must plan a step or two ahead." Crimson said with a bow. "You've grown well."
"Thanks." Ash said.
"But I heard you'll have better luck against everyone else." Crimson said bowing out with his winnings.
Cindy had also collected her winnings with her and Riley following Crimson up.
"21." The blackjack dealer said. "That's a perfect win."
"I'm good with cards." Huey said with a smirk.
Jazmine made a few small wins and would join Crimson and the others at the prize corner which was reorganized with new prizes thanks to the merchants and breeders of Sepia. Crimson was looking at the new Pokémon prize listing.

"Oh man, this is lit." Riley said excitedly.
"I'll take up the Scyther." Crimson said putting down his coins.
"Oh, if it isn't the boss, of course you're inclined to the boss's discount. 80% off for you, that'll be 550 coins. For 20 coins extra, it can be evolved to a Scizor." The attendant said as Crimson nodded.
Crimson got his prize and bought a few dozen TRs.
"I didn't peg you for bugs." Capone said as he and Crimson walked out.
"I'm not, but I do need something for Sabrina. Scizor will do just fine." Crimson said only to bump into his someone.
"Oi, watch it, ya mook!" Capone said only to freeze. "Oh damn…"
Crimson looked up to see he bumped into Lance…the dragon master. And he was not alone, no, the whole party was here. Bruno, Agatha, and Lorelei.
"Hey…." Crimson squeaked.
"Crimson, dear child. It's good to see you." Agatha said sweetly.
"Hm…." Bruno said staring intently at Crimson.
"We came down to investigate only to find out you cleared out the Rockets here. Good work on that." Lorelei said as Crimson had a nervous sweat.
"Well, please go on and enjoy the casino. It's been refurbished with roulettes, blackjack, and a battle arena downstairs to hedge your bets on. Though if you enter the arena, it's an easy bet." Crimson said sheepishly.
"Then we'll enjoy ourselves. And…we'll see you at the Indigo Plateau." Lorelei said with a grin.
Crimson decided to go over to near Mitsune's to greet his new friend. He had swapped Morticia out. His trusty ghost was annoyed, but she saw she could not do jack shit against Psychic-types. He sent out Scizor only for the Pokémon to fall over with a growling stomach. Crimson got her something to eat along with slipping her a few Rare Candies. Just five to get her to Level 40.
"Thank you…" She said tiredly. "I…when did I evolve?"
"When I won you at the prize corner, I had gotten you evolved for extra coins." Crimson said awkwardly.
Scizor seemed not too bothered even taking it in stride. She seemed relived, that her trainer could actually hold a conversation as she took him and Capone her story.
"Well those men in black aren't running the place no more. I guess you're among the leftover imported by the Rockets." Capone said as Crimson nodded.
"But regardless, welcome aboard our crew of…18…wow, I have not captured a lot of Pokémon." Crimson said surprising himself. "Oh well, quality over quantity. Now, you need a name…how about Galena?"
"Works for me, it sounds cute." Galena said with a warm hum as she got up.
"Then welcome to the crew, you're in for a ride." Capone said.
"Let's get you some food, some new moves, and a Mega Stone." Crimson said excitedly as the two followed.
She would get those things and that Mega Stone was put around her neck in a choker. Crimson would meet up with his friends for dinner at the Celadon Hotel.
"So, I see you guys got yourselves prizes." Crimson said.
Misty got herself a Eevee which she evolved into a Vaporeon, Rusty got a Pinsir, Joe got a small bucket full of Rare Candies, and Sissi got herself an Eevee to which she got evolved to an Umbreon.
"I got something to deal with pesky abilities…like Magic Bounce." Rusty said darkly as his newly acquired, Pinsir, chirped. "I call him Kobe."
"I got a Scizor. This is Galena." Crimson said as Galena waved only to go back to eating.
"And I thought you'd never get a Bug-type." Rusty joked.
Lil' Swish was approached by Misty's Vaporeon (Laita) and Sissi's Umbreon (Lunisa).
"Hi, I'm Swish." Lil' Swish said.
"Laita. Aren't you cute?" Laita said flirtingly.
"Oh boy…" Lunisa said dryly.
Lil' Swish was redfaced.
"So, what's the plans?" Sissi asked.
"Roulette is heading back to Seacrest, but Katerina has offered to stay and oversee the casino. She's admitted that Celadon feels like home to her and wanted to settle here." Crimson remarked. "Everyone else is heading back to Seacrest."
"And you plan on splitting from the group for a bit?" Rusty said eyeing him.
"Yeah, just for a bit. Shit is going down with the Rockets. I need to ready myself and go in solo before everyone else comes in." Crimson said seriously and quietly.
"You sure about this?" Sissi asked.
"I am." Crimson said finishing his meal.
He returned his Pokémon before leaving the table. He was on his way to his room only for Misty to hug him from behind.
"Make sure you're back in one piece." Misty said in a near whisper.
"I promise." Crimson said only to see his friends.
"We'll be ready. If you're going to storming Saffron, you'll need us posted at each gate. I'll take Route 6." Rusty affirmed.
"We'll take Route 8." Joe said holding Sissi's head.
"And Cerulean's mine." Misty said.
Crimson broke away and bided them good night before entering his room. He let out his Pokémon, wishing them all a good night before readying for bed.
"Galena, right? I just wanted to welcome you to the team. I'm Jett, one of the earliest members of the team." Jett said.
"Everyone here's been so nice." Galena said sheepish.
"Yeah, well…you haven't met everyone." Jett joked.
"Crimson, I'd like to sleep in my ball." Kimiko said as Crimson returned her.
Crimson plopped on the bed on his back as Lil' Swish jumped up on the bed. Rhint was in his shell on the rug sleeping with Capone dozing off on top on it. Back at the casino, Ash was on trying and failing to win at blackjack.
"Hit me!" Gary said before getting 21. "Aw yeah!"
"Oh, come on!" Ash said.
"Don't worry, Ashy. I'll share my winnings." Gary boasted before leaving. "Or maybe not."
Ash, in his frustration, tossed a coin which ended up in a slot machine. Ash pulled the lever…and he got three '7' netting him the big prize which spilled out gold coins that easily covered what Ash lost and then some to shock of everyone.
"Ash, I think I can say, jackpot!" Pikachu said as Ash took up his winnings with shock and glee.
The two rivals were now walking towards the prize corner next door.
"Can't believe you got lucky…but that was just a fluke." Gary said with a smirk. "I got the real skill."
"You need skill and a bit of luck." Ash touted.
"At least you're graceful about it…not like Crimson. And…huh, we only fought once. And that was ages ago…I owe him a fight." Gary said thoughtfully as they entered.
Ash looked through the Pokémon he could buy with his coins, however both Ash and Gary would buy the same thing, a Ralts. Only one got a male one with the means to evolve it to Gallade, and the other got a female one.
