"That was a ferry? More like a bullet train on the sea." Marie said as they walked through the small town.
A few houses and the Pokémon Network Center, which was the heart of Sevii. They all went inside which partly shared interior with the Pokémon Center. Celico was exactly as he was in the games, and everyone made introductions.
"I've heard a lot about you exploits. Bill and I are exactly battlers ourselves, but our roles do back the fighters." Celico said shaking Crimson's hand.
"It's cool. You're pretty integral." Crimson remarked. "So, what's with the invite?"
"It seems that network connections between Kanto and Sevii are not working. Crimson, I won't be able to connect to the PC to make any swaps. I also can't transfer funds using the internet." Dex Bulma said as Dex Tashigi said the same.
Celio explained a bit more in detail. Bill, Marie, and Celio got to work but not before Bill gave Crimson a Meteorite to deliver. Crimson went through the motions before leaving. He knew full well that he was going to be in the dark which was why he took a sizeable about cash on hand with him along with other supplies.
"I'm heading up to Mt. Mortar." Rusty said seriously. "It's time."
"I'm visiting the beach. Considering I never got time to just relax in the sun, I'm taking it." Misty said stretching. "Treasure Beach is said to be beautiful this time of year."
"I'll catch up with both of you later." Crimson said leaving for port.
He already had a Rainbow Pass, the one his father given him a long time ago to attend Kassai. The pass itself did have a message scribbled in from both parents, a simple 'Never give up!'. He fondly looked at it before greeting the sailor showing him the pass.
"So where will it be?" The Sailor asked.
"Two Island." Crimson remarked.
"We leave now then. All aboard the Seagalloop Hi-Speed 2." The sailor said showing him the way.

As Crimson left, Rusty took to the skies on Alta Maria heading for the mountain. He came prepared having switched Lumi out for Shogi back in Cinnabar. He descended on the mountain proceeded to steamroll the trainers there. Win after win in a row. He healed his team up and went for the top. Moltres was there as the two locked eyes. No words exchanged as they both knew why the other was here.

Moltres started off with Mystical Fire from its mouth only for Rusty to send out Brantley who was able to absorb it with Flash Fire. However, absorbing a legendary's flames was given him a bit of the shakes. Brantley shuddered, but stood firm.
"Brantley, Calm Mind." Rusty said as him and Brantley took a deep breath.
Finding their center, they both briefly glowed with energy bubbles rose up before it faded. The two being completely calm did sort of irk Moltres, a natural at getting people hotheaded. Moltres tried to use Incinerate to destroy Brantley's Expert Belt, but Flash Fire negated that.
"Are you shitting me?!" Moltres snapped.
"Yes, I come from a long time of bull shitters." Brantley said as Rusty snorted.
"You think you're so cute!" Moltres roared.
"Come here and get a good look." Brantley taunted as Moltres raced at them wings primed for Wing Attack.
Moltres wanted to smack that smirk off his face and raised his wings…only to glow blue. Rusty paused as rain before to pour around the mountain.
"You can learn Rain Dance? What reason would you benefit from that?!" Rusty asked.
"Weather Ball!" Moltres said as a sphere formed with rainwater swirling around it.
Rusty assumed that Moltres also had Sunny Day in its arensal of moves. Moltres fired the Weather Ball as Rusty and Brantley lunged to the side to dodge it only to get a few licks from debris. Rusty returned Brantley and sent out Ginerva.
"Ginerva, use Soak." Rusty ordered.
"Soaking a legendary? I'm so down." Ginerva said as her forehead gem gl owed bue.
Moltres was sprayed with water, but not harmed. Moltres saw itself now had a light blue sheen and demanded to know what Rusty had done. Rusty laughed at him and Moltres returned fire with Hurricane which did not miss in the rain. Ginerva was whipped about and slammed into some rocks before hitting the ground in pain from the thrashing.
"Damn, I think he broke something. I don't think I can go on, mate." Ginerva said forcing her up.
He returned her and sent out Healani out.
"Take to the skies and finish this with Volt Tackle!" Rusty said as Healani's electricity blazed over her.
A black outline of her, her cheeks, and her eyes as she rocketed into the skies before an electric missile. Moltres flapped its wings once more as the flames burned blue before blue flames consumed it. Moltres was coming down with Flare Blitz. The two attacks clashed with a loud crash before the explosion rocked the whole mountain. Rusty pulled a knife to stab into the wall to keep himself from being blown away. Black dust spread out as Rusty walked forward. He found Healani, battered…but able to stand. Moltres was on its back clearly paralyzed and wondering how did that not work.
"Remember the water. I used Soak which turned you into a Water type temporarily." Rusty said as Moltres just give him a dirty look. "The rain and your typing meant no STAB or bonus for that Flare Blitz."
"All right, you win. I didn't expect to lose like this! I expected a grand battle." Moltres said. "But, I admit defeat."
Rusty threw a Luxury Ball at him catching Moltres. That click never sounded sweeter. It was too bad he could switch Moltres in as the ball vanished to cyberspace. The experience gained was worth it to him.
(A/N: To be honest, unlike Joe, Rusty knew he was going to face Moltres and had planned accordingly. Despite the level gap, he had the means to deal with Moltres through several different ways. Moltres could have been put to sleep by Brantley or Alta Maria, Midori (in her Mega Form) could have poisoned him and used Venoshock before Electroweb, or Healni (and/or Shoji) could have zapped Moltres out of the way. Ironically, if you compare movepools, Moltres' is meh compared to Zapdos.)
